How can i use bluetooth headphones with a Playbar so, while watching TV, the audio goes only to the headphones and does not play through the Playbar?

I have a Sonos Playbar and a Harmony Elite Remote (with Hub). For the first few months, I had them set up normal with the Harmony Hub controlling the Playbar volume (via wifi). It worked okay, but my Harmony Hub frequently disconnects due to its own issues with Mesh Wifi networks. Obviously, if I tried to adjust the volume during a time when the hub is disconnected, it doesn't work or the volume would spike and then I wouldn't be able to turn it down without using the Sonos App. Due to this, I decided to change the Harmony settings and use "Remote Only" to control the Playbar Volume (via IR). After changing to Remote Only and updating the remote, it seemed to work great for a couple hours (without even updating Sonos remote settings in the Sonos app), but then late last night, it stopped working and kept doing the volume spike referenced above (i'd hit volume down and it would get real loud and then could only be fixed by Sonos app). Of course, this did not make my wife happy

Hallo, I purchased the new Sonos Beam today. My TV is a OLED LG65C7V. I have used the included HDMI from Sonos to connect my Beam to the HDMI2 (ARC)-port on the TV. To watch TV (regular broadcasting channels) I use a digital box from my broadcaster GET (Norway). This is connected to the HDMI1 on my TV. When I'm watching TV with my Beam, there is a lip sync fail. I had no issue with this before the Beam. However, when I now watch Netflix (with the integrated smart-OS on the TV), there is less or non problem with lip sync. Anyone have a solution for how I can fix the lip sync when watching regular broadcasting TV? Please let me know if you need more information about my setup (not an expert in this). Regards, Magnus

I have 2 Sonos One speakers running stereo in one room. All of a sudden they have stopped responding to Alexa commands. The mikes are on and running. I know this because when I say Alexa I get the sound indicating that they are hearing. When I then give a command such as "Play Van Morrison", nothing happens. If I give a command to give the weather, nothing happens. I can control the speakers playback of music from my desktop. I can also get them to play music by giving Alexa commands to Echos and Echo dots in other rooms and asking to play music from the 2 Sonos speakers. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated as their responsiveness to commands is greatly missed.

I am unable to Manage my Music. My options are greyed out. I have a Mac with 10.10.5 opererating system and my Sonos has the latest updates 9.2. Help...

Is it possible to control Sonos players outside a WiFi network? Every once and a while I take my Play 5 and my NAS to work along with my CR100 controller which was not dependent on WiFi to operate everything. Now that they're no longer supported, how do I access my Music Library and Play 5 without WiFi? Could my phone be the WiFi network? I've never tried it, hence the question.

Is there a configuration of Sonos Products that would produce a Dolby Atmos sound ?

I just got a Sonos One, linked my Spotify account on Sonos app, linked the same spotify account on Alexa app and made spotify as default. I can confirm that the spotify account is linked correctly on both Sonos and Alexa. When I say Alexa play music from Spotify, Alexa says to play Spotify first link spotify premium account to the alexa app. Can someone please help

Has anyone tried the following? If, on an IOS device using the Apple Music app, one chose in the IOS Airplay 2 menu to stream direct to a Sonos One which has previously had its frequency response curve set by Trueplay, would that Sonos One retain the Trueplay curve or would it play the audio 'flat'?

I have lost "settings rooms" on all my controllers (iMac + iPad) + Sonos app on Huawei.

We use Sonos at work. When I receive a call that goes through my iPhone and MacBook, all the speakers on our system turn down (or pause.... not exactly sure which.) How do I set Sonos to NOT pause/turn down when a call comes through? I can't seem to find the setting within Sonos and all the similar chats I've read are actually requesting the opposite! ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Why can't I switch between using bluetooth headphones and sonos beam without beam switching back on?

It's been a few days now since Alexa officially supports Spanish as a language. I live in Spain and I have my setup as if I lived in the UK, but now I am looking forward to migrate everything to the Spanish Alexa site. So far there is no Sonos skill in the Spanish store, so the question is: When is it going to be possible to use Alexa in Spanish (and in Spain) with my Sonos speakers? Thanks in advance.

I have just got the Sonos One but I cannot find the command to turn the device off? I have attempted multiple different commands with Alexa but nothing works? Can anyone help me with the correct command or does the device just stay switched on at all times? Thanks in advance

Hi there, I have a house full of gen 1 Sonos speakers. One set is two play 1s with a sub. I'm considering getting two new Play 1s, mostly because of the Alexa and Airplay technology built in. However, I'd like to add one of them to the sub/Play 1 combo, and one paired with another first gen Play 1. In doing so, will the paired speakers still receive Alexa commands and airplay functionality? Or will only the one speaker actually play based on those commands and/or airplay? Thanks!

My playbar is working with the TV but not showing up on my app....my surround sound speakers (2 Play 1's) not working or showing up on app but have a white light and keeps saying speakers have already been set up. Just want it to work!

I know this is a recurrent topic, but I actually believe it would be very helpful if Sonos address this issue in a concise webpage with continuous updates. Right now the whole forum is full of questions about TV's ability to pass-through a 5.1 HDMI signal. The (so voted) most helpful comment on amazon about the playbar is about the problem of not getting a real surround but an artificial constructions from a PCM 2.0 signal from the TV. And this is also the main issue mentioned in CNET for the review of the playbar. So, guys, could you make a systematic and compressive study/review of which TV's will work with the Sonos surround system? I'm currently considering to get a full sonos surround pack, but I cant not make a decision before knowing if my LG 65UB930T (LG65UB9500 in USA) is able to pass the signal form the devices connected to the HDMI ports. I have the 5.1 Playbar, sub, 2 play ones in my living room/theater. I want a sub and a play 5 in another area to stand alone or play simultaneously for music, is that possible?

Apologies if this has been covered already but my Sonos One/Alexa keeps waking up/false triggering while I'm watching TV and it's driving me mad. Whereas others have complained about the mic sensitivity being too low I haven't found this - in fact for me the Sonos One hears me far better better than my Echo and Echo dots ever did and overall I'm loving it. But this issue of Alexa waking up with a loud chirp every few minutes is driving me mad. I've checked the audio files and there's nothing apparent in there that appears to be triggering it - it just seems to be random words with no pattern. My question is are others having the same issue, is there a way to fix it, or do I have a faulty unit?

I see that when I turn my tv to the HDMI input that my beam is connected to, it cycles through a screen saver with a handful of black and white images. Is there any way to get a visualizer on screen to sync with my music?

If you use the optical adapter, is it still possible to get 5.1 sound? The product page says PCM stereo and Dolby Digital...but not Dolby Digital 5.1. Thx!

Hi Sonos Community - I recently purchased two Sonos Beams and am liking them a lot, but my house is becoming overwhelmed with Alexa devices. I had opted to turn the Alexa integration off on these two beams through the room settings, but now the ability to add it back is completely gone. I'm thinking of just changing the wake word on my other devices, so I'd like to add Alexa back on both of my Beams if it's possible - but I don't know how! Any recommendations?
