Hi. I have 8 Play 1's and was wondering, if I bought a Sonos 1, would I then be able to voice control the others via Alexa or Google home ( whenever it becomes available)?

I have the playbar connected to a new uhd Samsung television. Everything seems to work fine except there is no indication of the volume level anywhere. I'm using optical to connect the playbar to the Samsung TV. Is there any way to get the volume level to show somewhere? It's really annoying not seeing a number or indicator change as the volume changes. Thanks for any help/insight

I was planning on getting an additional play 1 for the kitchen, which is in earshot of the living room. It's a open layout. Living room has 5.1 set up. I have heard that there is a 70ms delay adding extra speakers or rooms. Will this create a problem trying to play all speakers at once?

Hi all. I am looking at purchasing the new Sonos One as an addition to my Gen 1 Sonos system. Will the new Sonos One pair/group with all my of my gen 1 speakers ? I am aware you must buy two Sonos One speakers if you want to use them together (stereo)since the Sonos 1 will not pair in as a stereo with Sonos One, but will my existing Sonos 1 be able to work in a group set up? I currently use a Sonos 5.1 System, which is supported with a Boost, in our Entertainment room. In the adjoining Living Room, I have a pair of Sonos Play 5's with a Sub. I have tried unsuccessfully to add a pair of Sonos Ones. I am getting a message that the speakers are a long way from the router. They are quite a distance from the router, but not my Living Room Speakers. I thought that with Boost each Sonos Product acts like an extender. Anyway, recommendations? Will an additional Boost do the trick?

Question: Would like to run a Playbar (no receiver) for the front 3 speakers (LCR) connected to a TV and also connect to existing ceiling speakers for the rears. Possible with a Playbar? Sub would be awesome too.

Hi, I want to set up a karaoke system with sonos home theater. I got a mixer with optical in and optical out. However, when I optical in from the my samsung tv and optical out to the sound bar, i cannot get any sound. Can anybody help me on this? The mixer I am using for is Behringer FCA610. Or is there any other interface remmended?

Now that Sonos can be controlled by the most home automation systems it would be very nice that there comes a Sonos Multi Zone Amp such as the Denon Heos Drive. Now we have to stack the sonos amp and the clients doesn't like that. It isn't a professional solution for that kind a clients. Hi Was glad to hear that you're going to support airplay 2 in 2018. Im just wondering if this will be a software / firmware update that willl work with older speakers, like play; 1, 3 etc. or will airplay 2 only support the new speaker Sonos One?
