I have a Google home hub and a Sonos beam and I would like to set my default speaker for the Google Home Hub to the Beam speakers. When going in to the Home app it doesn't recognize the Beam, or at least it doesn't allow me to add the Beam as my default speaker. Anyone else has this experience?

Hello,I recieved an e-mail from Sonos on 5th of November that if I set up Google Assistent with my Sonos Beam before 12th of November I would recieve a free Chromecast.I set it up that same evening but I still haven't recieved an e-mail on how to get the Chromecast? The e-mail say that i Should recieve the campaign code after 24 hours top. I haven't used or set up Google Assistent before this. Kind Regards,Chris Jorgensen  

Hi, wondering when Google Assistant support is coming to New Zealand? It's available in Australia... seems strange to not be available in NZ. When purchased my Sonos gear was under understanding that Google Assistant support was coming - would be great if roadmap for NZ could be provided. Cheers

I live in San Francisco and I recently bought a Sonos Move to use it with my Spotify Premium Account. Iwas trying to add Spotify in Services/Add music service menu but it doesn't exist there. So I have to use a Bluetooth in order to listen Spotify.Is there a way to listen to Spotify on my Sonos via WiFi?

I lice in Seitzerland and bought a Sonos One being led to believe that I could use Alexa. Now I see I cannot use Alexa making it a Play 1 that I have paid 50 chf more for. I either want 50 chf back or a solution. This is fraud.

Hi, I'm looking to replace my existing swimming pool amp with a sonos amp. As of today i have been unable to find any operating ratings for the sonos amp. Andy advice would be appreciated and if there's a good way to reduce humidity can you please advise?

So I just came home from work and was surprised to hear my speakers blasting music on full volume. After some troubleshooting I Could say that it is not my apartment that is haunted but my girlfriend who had  accessed my system through her Spotify by accident by using Spotify connect. After some testing we found that several People who had accessed the speakers before through my wifi Could still connect, miles away through Spotify and play music.  Is there any way to block or remove this function. I only want People to gain access when I allow through my wifi? Thanks!  

HELP!!  Can someone tell me why the app will not let me add a speaker.  I have the Sonos app for Androids loaded on my Samsung.  I want to add a new Sonos speaker to my current setup.  Have gone into the app> System>  but the “Add Product” is grayed out so can not add anything. I’ve even un-installed and re-installed  the controller app.  Still not showing up to add a speaker.Feeling really stupid here.  I am pretty good with computers/apps but can’t figure out why I can not simply add a single Sonos (sonos one) speaker.  It shouldn’t be this hard.  Feeling like I should have NEVER invested the $$$ in this system.  Anyone have any idea why the app is not letting me add a speaker to my current system

According to previous topics it is possible to turn off the Alexa ‘wake up’ sound in 10.0. However, I can’t find this setting in 10.5.Help please.

Hi all My new symfonisk shelf keeps loosing connection with wifi. I have rebooted and disconnected from power all I could. Non of my other sonos' ever had this problem and still don't. Should I take the the symfonisk back to Ikea? Thanks for support. mazi

I am aware that the new SL can be paired with a Sonos One but I have an older generation 1. Can the One gen 1 make a stereo pair with an SL?

Hello all,I've had my a Sonos system for over 10 years and I love it.  My wife and I recently relocated and bought a new home.  Unfortunately, the new house is wired with a Legrand On Q system.  The Legrand system is just ok, barely.  The Legrand system sounds pretty poor compared to Sonos.  Legrand also offers far fewer streaming options compared to Sonos  The structured cabling tech who installed my system for the builder was here today explaining the Legrand system to me.  He didn’t know of a way to hook my media server to the Legrand system, or how I might incorporate my existing Sonos.I’m thinking the Legrand will be ok for listening to music in the kitchen and living room, but I’d like to have my Sonos system in my media room where I can play files from my media server through my McIntosh amp.  I have a set of smaller Sonus Faber speakers hooked to the Mc and they could definitely be helped by my Sonos sub.  Here’s the Sonos equipment I own:BridgeConnectConnect ampSonos SubPlay 5

The Sonos instructions to use the Apple TV 4th Generation remote to control volume on the PLAYBAR don't seem to work with the new 4K 5th Generation Apple TV. Has anyone gotten the remote to work to control the volume on the PLAYBAR (without ALSO turning up the volume on the TV itself)??

Hi, I have a Sonos Connect and 3 Play:1s. The Play:1s are working fine but the Connect keeps disappearing (from Android and Mac apps). If sound is playing through it that stops too. Sometimes it comes back by itself after a while. If not then usually rebooting (remove power cable, wait 5s, reinsert power cable) gets it working again for a while although not always. When it’s playing up I also sometimes hear a click through the amp/speakers that it is connected to - the kind of noise you get when you turn something on without turning your amp off. That makes me think it could be rebooting itself. I don’t think it’s a network issue - it is connected with an Ethernet cable to a TP Link Deco in the same room as the master deco, and even when the Connect is playing up I can still ping the Deco that it is connected to from my Mac or the phone with the Sonos app that the Connect has disappeared from. It got to the stage a couple of weeks ago where it wasn’t connecting at all. Hi all,For the past few years, I’ve been listening to my two Play:5s (gen. 1), paired together. Connected via an audio cable from my TV to the line-in port, I’ve been enjoying their sound for movies as well.Apparently, I’ve been so vocally fond of them, that I got a Playbar as a gift for my birthday recently.Now, I’m trying to figure out what the best way to utilise the three products is - of course, hoping that it’ll be an upgrade to my experience so far.I love how all three sound when listening to music! I find that the Playbar does “open-up” the sound of the two 5s in a very satisfying way. Next comes the topic of the sound coming from the TV.From some of the questions here I learned that I cannot use the two Play:5s for just the front left and right channels, with the Playbar as the center. I can, however, group them, so that they play together. In this way I might not get great left-right separation, but I would still enjoy the contribution of the low-frequency richness of the 5s

Hi! My Beam is playing music, and will turn on and off my Samsung TV...but it isn't playing the tv sound. For just a second my TV sound plays through the TV and then stops. I am using the HDMi connection.

With the recycling program in action does this flag that the Play 5 Gen1 will be rendered useless/obsolete in the near future. What are Sonos’s plans for supporting this device in teh future? 

Recently purchased the Sonos One Gen 2. I don’t think the microphone has worked since I brought it. It does not light up. On have it in stereo mode with another One Gen 1. I in paired the two to see if that would work, but it didn’t. I have tried tapping the button on the top and nothing happens. The other buttons on top work fine. The other one works perfectly. Please help.

I have nearly $2000 of Sonos equipment. I love Sonos. Now comes Trueplay for tuning my Sonos speakers. What? Only iOS? Does anyone else here have an Android phone? I have used a Yamaha 4000 sound bar for years with speaker tuning and I love it. I really think Trueplay would improve my Sonos experience so I guess I better get an iPhone? :S:?
