Hello All, so I am on an iPhone 8+ with iOS 13.3.1, and I set up alarms they go off, but on my locked screen I never see the functions to turn off or snooze as the support pages show.  I have a Sonos Play 1, Play 5, PlayBar and Sub.  I love the system, but not having functionality to control from lock screen does suck and wish Apple and Sonos can play together. I do read something about Apple AirPlay 2 and having to turn that off, I only have 2 apple TV but they are old generation, we stream from our phone to the TV for Disney+ since they are older devices can I can’t download the app to them. I have a desktop Mac and sometimes we stream from that to TV’s. Do I have to turn off AirPlay 2 and if so how? One Sonos support person told me to go on my phone to Systems Preferences to Notifications to make sure I have notifications turned on for Sonos but when I look on my phone under System Preferences>Notifications there is no Sonos App there to check to see if notifications are on - why

Using Sonos Connect to stream to an integrated amp via optical. I've always used Fixed for line-out level but now I see another option, Pass-Through.   Tried it, no apparent difference.   So what is the difference between Fixed and Pass-Through?

I have two separate Sonos systems in two separate houses. Everything has been working fine with Spotify but as of last week the service has deteriorated. When I select songs or playlists on Spotify via Sonos it jumps a random number of songs before being able to play one and then it tries to play 3 or 4 other songs but ends up jumping forward again and most of the time it just stops playing and says that it could not find the object on Spotify.  My Spotify account works fine by itself but not well through Sonos. I have different internet service providers in the two houses so it has nothing to do with that either. Other services like TuneIn radio works fine so this is only with regards to Spotify.

I am unable to get to iTunes via my phone nor am I able to connect to my existing system via mac. Help please!

I have a ZP100 that no longer connects to network or at least does for 5 minutes (Sonos says it is toast). Has ANYONE seen a youtube video where the ZP100 is converted to be just an amplifier ?  The ZP100 is most analog of the amps, and it seems if you could fashion a volume control and some input switch, it would be possible. It would be a shame to waste an amplifier just because the network i/f is bad. Thanks  

After hours of connecting, hard wire, wireless, rebooting everything and then re-setting back to factory settings. Nothing. Both these units get to the end and come back with cant connect.  I have not yet re-set the bridge. Is this advisable?? So desperately wanting to go through all my old casettes and ply them over my old home made 12’’ speakers:) Oldskool. Any help would be great Cheers    

The voice commands on my sonos beam have never worked properly with my firestick even though I have the two linked (at least I think I did it correctly). The strange thing though is when I use voice commands with my firestick remote in changes the tv inut to the sonos beam and I get a black screen with white squiggly lines that cycles through different patterns. I have to physically change the input back to the firestick to do anything and its like I never did a voice command in the first place. Has anyone run into this issue, I can’t seem to figure it out! I have an LG smart tv if that helps. Thanks!

Hi,I am sorely missing the option to play music from my iPhone through my Sonos system.I know I can use Airplay but where is the integration? I want to use my iTunes playlists that I created over the years. This is a huge bummer since I invested over $1500 in a smart sound system and I can’t use it to its full extent. I guess I am old school and I still mostly listen to the 500+ albums that I own in addition to streaming on Spotify. But Spotify doesn’t have everything and not the same quality. Plus I can not use my playlists for example to set alarms in the app.Will this feature ever be available?

Hello,   The Philips Hue Bluetooth claims to work without the Hue Bridge and you can use Alexa or Google Assistant.   So how does this connect to the Sonos One 2nd Gen. ? I know the Sonos One 2nd Gen. has bluetooth in it.   So how can you control these bluetooth lights with Alexa without using the hue bridge ?   Thanks in advance, Soxbrother

So I laid my sub horizontally a while back. I laid it with the logo facing down (same as the picture in the quick start guide). Now, after reading the manual it says that the Sonos logo should be facing up. Does this really matter or is it purely cosmetic? I don’t want to damage internal components if the logo is truly supposed to be facing upward.    Thanks in advance.

Hey all.  I’m wondering if anyone has had ARC issues with a Hisense TV.  My sound is constantly bouncing from the Beam back to my tv speakers, and the audio issues are causing the video stream to pause, streaming apps to crash, the tv will reboot altogether, etc.  I’ve been going back and forth with support for 3 months now.  I’m about to tear my tv off the wall and go with another brand.  Please help!

Hi, I have followed the instructions here: https://support.sonos.com/s/article/321?language=en_US to access podcasts downloaded from the android app Podcast Republic on my OnePlus 3, but the Podcasts are not appearing in the SONOS app. In fact, the Podcast folder is not consistently appearing at all (it seems to depend on whether there is anything in the Music folder for some reason, but is not deterministic). The podcast files are present in what the File manager app calls “STORAGE>Internal storage>Podcasts” and the Android file manager calls “OnePlus 3>Podcasts” and can be played from there. I can’t see how their permissions are set. This is persistent across restart of the various apps and reboot, and none of the previous threads on this subject contained solutions to my problem. Any ideas?

I have a beam and two play:1s. Had them connected for surround sound. Late this afternoon I turned the tv on and none of the speakers were connected. I tried connected them again but could only get the beam connected to the tv. I try to add the play:1s for surround but it says it can’t do that. I need help to get the surround set up again.    I just submitted a problem about not being able to get surrounds connected to a sound beam. Now I can’t even get into the Sonos app. It says it can’t find speakers connected to the WiFi. The sound beam is still playing what’s on the tv. But the play:1s have nothing coming out of them. I can’t get a diagnostics number since I can’t get into the app

I have read many posts on this topic and still have no clear answer or solution. I have a QNAP NAS and am running a Windows 10 PC. I currently have a USB drive attached directly to my Modem/Router and that is discovered and used by Sonos. I can add a Folder from my PC successfully but I WANT to add a folder from my NAS. When I attempt to do so, an error message telling me that I need to update my registry appears. I have read the linked Microsoft article and performed the Registry Update and rebooted - no success. I have turned off my Firewall - no success. Like everybody else I have no SMBv1 running - is this or is this not the issue? Sonos seem to be saying (?) that they no longer rely on SMB? I am frankly lost trying to keep track of whether it is or isn’t so. Having read extensively about this issue it seems to have been a topic for over 3 years. Is there a specific solution for this as if there is I haven’t been able to track it down? A solution would be gratefully accepted. Obvio

I’m looking to connect 4 speakers to my Sonos Connect:Amp (i can do that, right?) for around my pool area.  I’m leaning toward OSD RX640. Do i need an “impedance matching speaker control”, whatever that is?  I’ve read something that went way over my head (easy to do with this topic) and now I nervous/confused about ohms and the Connect:Amp. Any explanation for the newbie would be appreciated...

Hi, I’ve had a beam for about 2 months and all was working fine with Alexa and an LG tv. But a couple of weeks ago the “Alexa switch to tv” command stopped working. It gives the following reply “Sorry. The device this device is no longer supported”. Has anyone else noticed this/have a solution? Which device is it referring to? Thanks. 

I'm considering getting a 5.1 system for my upstairs TV. I have one down stairs and I really like it. But I have a great room. The couch is basically in the middle of the room no where near any power. The 5.1 kits come with play 1s. What have people done about this?   A couple of options come to mind. Obviously I could see about adding a floor outlet, but that seems like overkill for this room. It's not the primary room. I could just run an extension cord, but that's a trip hazard or use an ugly cord cover like at the office. It works, but I think it's an eye sore for my setup.   The third option is that I have outlets at the sides of the room. The speakers would still be "behind" the couch, but they would be about 6ft away each. So more like to the side of the couch. The couch cannot be centered in the room. This seems the easiest, but the most lopsided approach that probably doesn't have the best sound.   I also have speaker mounts on the side of where my tv is. So the play 1s would

I have a 9 month old LG 4K Smart TV and a Sonos Beam (as well as a Cable TV Box).  Everything was working great for the past 6 months (Sonos using HDMI ARC).  Yesterday, we lost power for less than a minute and now the Sonos cannot maintain a connection to the TV.  Specifically, when watching TV, the sound will come through the TV speakers, then switch to the Beam for a second or two, and then back to the TV.  I checked all the TV settings and SIMPLINK is ON and whenever I try to set the Audio Out to HDMI ARC, it only stays set for a second or two and then automatically switches back to “Internal TV Speakers”.  Tried rebooting Sonos several times as well as turning the TV ON/OFF.
