Since the latest update the option to start a station based on a song or artist in Apple music seems to have disappeared. Has this functionality been removed for some reason?

I followed the directions for adding the Move to my system; it appears in my speaker list and it is registered. The Move produces sound only when it is the only speaker I select to play; when I group speakers, the Move is silent. My app software has been updated; I have reset my internet router and my Sonos Boost; bluetooth is turned off. The Move is my 14th Sonos speaker and I've never ever had this kind of problem adding a speaker to my system. TIA for any clues you can give me.

Newbie here, based in UK Just installed a SonosAmp. Cannot see SiriusXM in the list of available Music Services. Does Sonos block visibility/access to Sirius if outside US I wonder? If so how can I add Sirius to Music Services? Thanks

Hi! I have a new SONOS MOVE and registered to my account and system... However I would like to give it to a friend and therefore I would like to completely remove and deregister it from my system and account... Just wonder if any expert here can advise me how to do it? Thanks in advance!

I was excited to see integration with Google assistant, however when I try to add sonos, the following happens: 1) I go to voice services and add Google Assistant 2) this takes me to the Google screen where it authenticates me using the same email address that's on my sonos account 3) this then redirects me to the sonos authentication 4) after authenticating on sonos, it says I need to register my speakers to my account, so I click Go to Sonos App, and the process starts all over again. This doesn't make sense. My speakers are registered to my account. When I go to the sonos website, and sign in with the same email address, I can see all of my speakers. Elsewhere in this process it says if I go to More > Settings > Account Settings and I don't see "Account" I need to update my sonos system. I do not see "Account" - I see my email address as the linked account and then I see Transfer account. Where is "Account"? I've also confirmed my app and speakers are all up to date.

Hi Sonos, Move seems like an amazing product. One thing though, I buy my stuff to last forever. It is a must. Thing that do not have a user replaceable battery, or at least a replaceable battery common enough to be easily and cheaply procured, is limited to the lifespan of the battery. And all Lithium based rechargeable batteries have a limited number of cycles AND a limited shelf-life (use them or not). What is your approach to this? Is the Move battery serviceable? Will you stock spare batteries, and for how long? Thanks!

I appreciate your feedback. I've a Epson 4010 4k projector and I would like to connect that to Sonos soundbar via using "Sonos - Female-To-Male Audio Adapter". Would this work? If not, do I need to get a HDMI switch box? what is the most easiest way to connect soundbar with epson 4010 projector?

I am trying to link my premium spotify account to sonos, when I click "authorize", I'm being brought to a page where I'm supposed to enter an authorization link code. The page opens with an error "The link code you entered is not valid. Please check the link code and re-enter it below." There is no link code provided either through the app, the page I'm being linked to, or by email. I've tried using the sonos iOS app as well as the desktop version. Clearly I'm missing something here. Any suggestions?

We're doing a major home reno and want to upgrade to Sonos for music and TV sound. Currently my music is coming off iTunes on a Windows PC via an Apple Airport (I know, I know) to my old component system. We just use big TV built-in speakers. We're not big special-effects-movie people so we're probably going to go with a Beam rather an a Surround Sound setup for living room. So I have questions. 1) I'm one of those guys with 80 gigs of music on his computer, and I'd still rather play from the PC -- and use my years of iTunes playlists -- to play through the Sonos. Can I do that? 2) Should I get another Beam for music in the kitchen or do I need to go to separate standalone Sonos speakers? Advantages?

In the spotify app I can see sonos, I try to connect to the speaker and it continuously tries to connect. Under the sonos app, I tried adding music service, spotify and it just says unable to add spotify account. I do have a premium student account. So why cant I cast or connect to sonos? When we call the endpoint it does not return the audioclip capability for these speakers and when we try and send an audioclip to it it returns: An error occurred, there were no speakers with the custom sound capability in this group Thanks

When casting to a Sonos speaker from the Amazon Music app on my iPhone or iPad, I can't seem to control the music once it starts playing. The app shows that I'm connected to the speaker, but the "now playing" screen in the app doesn't work. I have to connect to the Sonos app to control playback. Is that a known issue and/or something that I can resolve somehow? Thanks!

Hi everyone. I have had ongoing issues with my Sonos devices. Every month or so, my LAN ports are all taken out for a few minutes before fixing themselves. I have been using this great community and found it could have been a broadcast storm causing the issues. I have turned off wifi on one of my players and so far so good. I'll have to wait and see if it works in the long term, but I feel confident. Part of the issue, I think, is I have had two switches between two players. They are unmanaged very simple D-Link GO-SW-5G switches. I checked with D-Link who have told me they would block STP BDPU packets. I then looked at TP-Link SG105 switches and TP-Link told me they would also block STP BDPU packets. I did read that most switches would pass through these packets. So if looking for a switch that would pass all packets through, what should I look for? Or any models you could recommend? Thank you in advance.

Previous Sonos app has the option to reset Sonos controller. I used this feature to reconnect my Sonos speakers. I can not find this feature on the new Sonos app 10.4. To reconnect my Sonos, the new Sonos app asks me to go to the missing speakers to touch the setup button. The problem is I have more than 20 Sonos speakers missing. If Sonos removed the Reset Sonos Controller feature, they need to bring it back

Is it me? I now cannot access any podcasts or music from my phone? Most podcasts I listen to are on BBC Sounds which cannot be streamed through the Sonos app. It would appear my speakers are not compatible with Apple Play 2 as they are not appearing over airplay. Can anyone help? or do I have to do what seems inevitable these days...and just throw it all away and go back to vinyl?😬 in despair.

Can I pair the new Sonos One SL with Sonos Five Gen 2 ?

I use the Sonos-alarm on a daily basis, but the time varies from day to day. Therefore, before I go to bed I check that the alarm is set and set at the correct time. Since the September 10, 2019 Release, this has become an annoying task as the alarm was moved on the Android App. Now I have to click through "Settings -> System -> Alarm". I do not consider the alarm a system setting, but maybe that is just me. Complaining is easy, so what could be a potential solution? From my point of view it would be nice to have the alarm setting directly linked from the "My Sonos" part of the app (bottom left). As we can edit this page, it could be hidden for everyone by default and if you need it, you add it through the edit of the My Sonos (top right). Forgive me, if there is already a better way to set the alarm. I tried to find it online, but I was not successful. That being said, adding the alarm to the "My Sonos" would be a great feature anyway (imho).

Is it possible to disable the Google Assistant Voice control and keep the linked status in google home? I want to continue to control the Sonos Beams but use my Google Nest Hubs for voice commands. My wife misses having her own personal assistant settings and assistant voice. Right now I have the mics turned off as a work around. I am also using airplay more and more 2 group my Sonos system for music since that feature is not available yet from google. On a side note just having the flexibility to use both Google and Apple are why I use and enjoy my Sonos system every day. Thanks

How do I use the system away from my hom wifi..can I use this like a bluetooth speaker, and how?

Fairly new to the Sonos setup, however the following doesn't seem to be possible - am I missing something? [list] [*]Using latest iOS app [*]Browse > Asset UPnP [*]Album > [A-Z] [*]Select Album [*]??? [/list] You can see all the tracks listed as you might expect, however it seems you can only pick one at a time. The three dots next to the album only offer you the ability to "add album to my sonos" I just want to the able to play the album from here (select all tracks and add to queue)... which seems quite basic functionality. Interestingly, if you try from say the Mac controller, you can just select all tracks and add to queue. Given this works, this seems like it is limited to the iOS controller.
