FYI my music library resides on an external drive connected to my iMac. No change here. Yesterday, I upgraded to macOS Catalina. Today, my Imported Playlists (from iTunes, now Music) no longer appear in Sonos. Any fix for this?

Hello All, I have a question about the Sonos Amp. Is is possible to use the HDMI and analog RCA input simultaniously and stream their signals to different Sonos speakers? Example: Stream the audio of a playstation thats connected through the HDMI input to the speakers near the TV and at the same time stream the audio of a turntable thats connected through the RCA input to the speakers in the kitchen? And/or would it also be possible to stream an internet service (eg, spotify) to a third pair of speakers while using the other input(s)? Cheers!

Has anyone managed to get Sonos speakers to show up as devices in the Shortcuts app? I have Sonos Ones and they are set up in the Home app, but they won’t show up as devices in the Shortcuts app so I can add them to scenes/automations.

I have a Sony TV, about 3 years old. I have bought a Samsung soundbar and Sonos One SL speakers to set up a surround sound sytem, but cannot get The TV bluetooth to connect to anything wirelessly. Any ideas please?

The discussion about export, import, backup and sharing playlists is at least 6 years old and diverse in requested functionality. In the 6 years I use SONOS this topic continues to pop up... There are lots of threads, questions, answers and frustrations on the theme, often asking different functionality. There are also 3rd party tips and tricks to be found in the forums but none of them is really easy - or they simply don't work anymore. . I know from my ICT experience import and export is very difficult and tricky functionality. [b]So I can imagine SONOS stays away from import/export functionality to avoid trouble[/b]. So decided to put the question another way. [b][i]What I ask in this request is a VERY BASIC functio[/i][/b]n: just make it possible to make a [b]plain text file[/b] from a playlist, just holding the songname,artist and album title as they are displayed while playing. The kids can control our tv through their playstation, and sometimes do so by accident even. We have 1 network and don't plan on getting an extra one just because of a super basic feature which should be a very fundamental thing... I was planning on buying all the extra speakers, surround sound and subwoofer too, but no chance now. It's 2020, and like many other people are saying also, even coffee machines have password protection on wifi's... Interesting to see that this basic request has been an issue for hundreds of people using Sonos hardware I've seen on here alone, beyond 2006 ! Sono's make a lot of money.. please listen to your consumers in future. It really isn't much to ask.

Does anyone know for certain if the Sonos return policy is 45 days or 100 days? I have seen documentation for both. I am considering getting several AMPs. I plan on hooking 1 up to the TV via hdmi ARC. The other AMPs will be in other rooms. 1 of them in the guest bathroom. What I would like to do is stream online music to the guest bathroom unless something is playing on the TV. In that case, I’d like the sound in the guest bathroom to be the same as the TV... When the TV is turned off... back to the online music it was streaming before. Is this possible to kinda “set and forget” this? Or does it require going into the app and switching back and forth?

Will the google home mini now work with original Sonos Play 1 in the UK (not the later Sonos One - 1st & 2nd generations)

Hi I have an older model playbase and everything was working just fine until our power went out for about 5 seconds and then came back on. The play base was not in use when this happened. I had to reset all my other Sonos speakers and that was no problem but this isn’t working with the play base. I’ve followed the directions for reset (several times) but the light only blinks white and never switches to white/orange or green. Any other ideas about getting this fixed? Thanks.

Not sure if this goes in here but I am having difficulty getting the SiriusXM skill to work on our new Sonos Move. If I start playing from the Sonos app, it works fine. Ask our Echo Dot or Sonos One, works fine. When I ask our Move "Alexa, play Alt Nation on SiriusXM" I get the following response: "To listen to Meghan's SiriusXM go to the Alexa app top enable the skill and link your account" Where Meghan is my wife. The skill is enabled and I am signed into our SiriusXM account. Not sure what is going on here, disabled and re-enabled the skill to no avail. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks

Where in my Sonos options do I select the country? Or is this a case of needing to use a VPN temporarily? I would like to change it to the USA so I can enable Google Assistant. I imagine this means I'll start hearing dates in the wrong order, and temperature in fahrenheit, but I can put up with that for the time being until GA is launched in Australia.

Hi all, I already done my homework and learned that watts are not the most important when considering the quality of a speaker. I have been reading recently about [b]Play:5[/b] and I only found good reviews almost everywhere I looked, but I couldn't find any technical details about the speaker. To be more precise, I am trying to find out what is the speaker sensitivity for a [b]Play:5[/b]? Maybe it's a dumb question, and if so, I apologise for that, but I feel like maybe other people have been searching for this as well and it could provide some guidance, if not finding the answer at least having a better technical understanding of the system. Thank you for considering my request and I am looking forward to your answers.

All the Tunein BBC stations have gone and I especially miss Radio 2. Apparently Sonos know about this but there seems to be no fix at the moment. Does anybody have a solution? I don’t want to have several hundred pounds worth of “super high tech equipment” sitting unable to function as it was intended. Perhaps I’ll just get my 25 year old Denon receiver back into operation - at least I know it works consistently well!

Seeing as the Beam has an HDMI input, I'd like to request adding support for 5.1ch L-PCM. If you could please add support for this, it would warrant an instant buy for me, as I am among the 20+ million current Nintendo Switch owners, a console which unfortunately only supports surround sound via L-PCM. If other posts on this and other forums are anything to go by, I'm sure adding such a feature would further the demand for the Beam. I hope you'll consider this. Thanks!

I'm using my Sonos since last Thursday, and it all work very great. However, I've got a small problem including my Last.FM music service. I added my Last.FM account on thursday, and it started "double scrobbling" all the songs that I listen to. I remember that since a couple of months Last.FM-account is connected to your Spotify-account, so I realised that I probably don't need to add the Last.FM service on my Sonos. However, when I turned Last.FM on my Sonos "off", it stopped scrobbling at all. When I turn it back on it starts double scrobbling again. Anyone got any idea how to fix this?

Hello everyone! I got Playbase with Sub and just bought 1 Move. I would like to use 2 Moves as back speakers. FAQ states that I can't use 2 Moves as surround speakers, but at the same time it states that I can pair them with 5.1 system, which Playbase with Sub is. So how exactly Moves can be used as?

Hi Community, I recently installed two outdoor zones (1 with in ceiling speakers in outdoor kitchen and 1 with two outdoor waterproof speakers attached to the house). I want to hook up the outdoor TV to the both Sonos amps/zones. The TV has the ability to connect via bluetooth but as we know Sonos runs over WiFi. My question is if it is better to run hard wires from the TV to the Connect Amps. If so, how can I get both amps wired together so I can play sound in both zones? If not, does it make sense to buy a WiFi to BT converter and connect that through the Connect Amps somehow and then connect to the TV via BT. Any help you could give would be greatly appreciated. After updating to sonos 10.2, Alexa has stopped playing radio via Tunein and amazon music. The request is repeated back to confirm but then nothing plays. I have tried disabling the skill in Alexa app, but then I could not re-enable. I removed Alexa voice control from each sonos one and then added it back which also re-enabled the skill in Alexa, but no change. Any suggestions?

When trying to add the Spotify service in the Sonos app I get the message "Error. Unable to add Spotify account." after selecting "Connect to Spotify". I haven't entered any account details at this point. I can send music to my speakers from the Spotify app without a problem (I have a premium account). I have tried re-booting the router as suggested in a topic from a year ago; that doesn't work. Any other ideas?

Hia, My Sonos Play: 1 has started playing quite tinny and the bass sounds possibly a bit fuzzy. Haven't played it too loud so don't see why it would have blown but that's what it sounds like to me. Struggling to work out where to find the settings that other people talk about changing to tackle this problem. Thanks very much, Laurie

When not in Use (Standby Mode) is it recommended to remove the Move from its charging base once charged or allow it to remain in the base?

Hello, I am currently building a home and would like to use Sonos as the brains of my audio for the home. I need some guidance as to what products I should be purchasing and how I should be laying things out. I will list the rooms, what type of speakers and what I hope to do with them. Originally I was thinking of wiring everything to one point in mech room and having an amp in the family room for tv. Not sure how many of each and what would be best for my use. All help and input is appreciated!! 2nd Floor Master Bathroom : In ceiling speaker (music only) Master Bedroom : 2 in ceiling speakers to play music and possibly tv audio Laundry Room : In ceiling speaker (music only) 1st Floor Family room: Play bar plus in wall speakers for surround if possible If I were to get an amp for this room would that amp have a delay when playing music from other sonos devices?
