Ordered a Sonos Move in black, which was on backorder and said it'll ship mid July. My card was charged $1.00 and I never received any email communication regarding the purchase or anything at all. Just wondering if this is normal for back orders or if I should be trying to contact someone.      Thanks!

Whilst I understand that my Sonos Play 3 (first gen) doesn’t support Apple Air Play, why is it possible to stream Spotify music on my Play 3 directly from the Spotify iPhone app, yet it’s not possible to stream directly from my Apple Music app?

I have a Linksys mesh wirless system.  If I connect one of my Sonos speakers to one of the mesh pods, will this create a more reliable Sonos system? 

Hey you guys this is my first time posting to this. My question is, what settings do I set my tv to to make sure I’m getting Dolby Atmos coming through? PCM(even though I don’t think this can pass through atmos) auto, Passthrough, or Auto. A side note i have enabled eArc on the tv.

I just set up my 77”  LG C9 TV with the Sonos playbar and not able to get the sound to sync perfectly with the video.  Attempted  all the sync adjustments through the Sonos App.  The sound still slightly lags behind video.  I read some of the previous community messages and it appears this has been a problem for a few years.  Is there a fix from either Sonos or LG?

When I try to upgrade to the Sonos 2 app on my Macbook Air (using Mojave), it downloads and then when it tries to install, I get a failed message every time. Any ideas?

This a mystery! After a lot of trial and error and help from Sonos Tech Support, I got the LG Magic Remote to operate my Sonos Playbar so the TV sound comes through the Playbar and volume can be changed with the remote.  Then I disconnected the Playbar from the TV to put the TV on a swivel stand. When I reconnected both devices, the Magic Remote no longer operates the Playbar. I followed exactly the same steps as before .. but no luck! Any suggestions are most welcome ! TV: LG 50UN7300PTC. Purchased April 2020 - new model  Sonos Playbar Connected via optical cable. Steps: 1. Connect Playbar to TV. Several ways to access this function, I clicked Set Top Box icon at top of remote next to power button. Followed steps to add PlayBar via optical cable, selected Sonos from list of brands, and TV screen confirmed Playbar was successfully connected. In Sound Out on TV, chose Optical.  2. Hi,   The black Sonos move that is listed on preorder as well as the new white colour are they newer versions of the ‘original’ Move or are they just releasing a white colour?   I want to buy the black one which a local retailer has stock of but if the version on back order is potentially different / updated in some way then I would rather wait. it has the model number MOVE1EU1BLK   I know they released a FW update which has given all Move’s an extra hour battery life    Thanks 

Hello,  I plan to acquire the sonos arc and own a Samsung q950r 2019 TV.   This TV isn’t eARC (perhaps in the future), but is “atmos compatible”, with 2.1 hdmi ports. This is not quite clear what will happen (atmos or not atmos?) : if I have a atmos source (4K BD, apple tv, PS5) plugged on one hdmi port and sonos ARC on ARC hdmi if i stream from one of the TV apps (netflix, disney+….) (but there i guess it will be loss atmos = DD+?) Your answer for the passthrough atmos is very important and will lead to a sad or not decision of buying this bar.    Thank you very much for you answer,

Hi, I am new to the Sonos world and I have a Beam setup with my TV which works fine. I have a large music collection on my PC and I’m experimeneting with how to play MP3's on my Beam. I've installed the Windows desktop client and I’ve created a playlist but I cannot figure out at all how to add tracks to the playlist. I have gotten music to play but only by right clicking a file and clicking “Play to > Sonos Beam Media Renderer”. This opens another player which sends the music to the other player which sends it to the Beam. Could somebody please talk me through how to add MP3’s stored on my PC into a playlist or if I can play MP3’s without using the rendere? I will confess to still be using Windows 7. It’s on my to do list for the next couple of weeks. Not sure if that has an impact of any of the above. Thanks.

I just got a Sonos 5 delivered yesterday and already have a Sonos Play 5 (2nd generation). i tried to Stereo Pair them on the Sonos app and it does not seem to work. I was really looking forward to the stereo pair and assumed they were compatible.    Can I Stereo Pair a Play 5 with a Sonos Five?   I think i already know the answer and they are considered two different products.   Thank you,   Juan  

Is it possible to connect my TV wirelessly to my Beam, my Beam is connected to 2 Sonos Ones also. (Technically I don’t have a TV, my Beam is connected to my laptop but don’t this it makes a difference. To connect the beam to my laptop I use the optical adapter connected to an external soundcard and into my laptop, works great but looking to take it wireless)

Since yesterday, when I try to start the Radio Paradise Main Mix radio station it appears to try (play changes to stop briefly) but then fails.The station is on Sonos Radio, and is one of my favourites. I looked in more detail today and the other Radio Paradise mixes are working. I removed and re-added the favourite, but that hasn’t helped. If I go to the Radio Paradise website, all the streams are playing fine there. Any ideas?

I am moving house soon and was planning on buying Sonos Beam to go with existing two Play:1s and a sub for surround sound. Now my head has been turned by the Sonos Arc, instead of the Beam. But I am a little concerned as to whether it will be compatible with my TV. It's a Samsung UE65NU7300K. I've attempted to source the answer online but have only succeeded in confusing myself, but have the inkling it is not going  to be. Does anyone have a definitive answer? And if it is not compatible, are there ways around it, ie adaptors etc?

I have acquired a Sonos Arc, my Samsung TV doesn’t do Atmos even over DD but my ATV does.  Im happy to use this as the only source of input for the Atmos as it has all the apps etc, before I invest in an (expensive, but cheaper than a new TV!) HDMI audio extractor and EDID emulator I wondered if anyone has tried this route and got it working to split out the sound from ATV HDMI output, so effectively the video goes to TV off one split channel and the audio to Sonos Arc?

The option to add 2 Sonos Moves with the Arc as surrounds does not exist.  Will that be an option in the future?

Hi, hope to be part of community as soon as the gen 2 will be read. I have selected the Five Model but I have a question. Apart for In Home use that is quite clear (WiFi, connection, app, etc.), I plan to use the speaker with my new Philips PPMax portable projector connected via mini Jack line in input. In vacation I don't have access to WiFi or net connection except the one on my portable phone or tablet. The question is: this speaker works or can be used without WiFi connection using the line in input? I don't want to buy something that I can't use outside home (price very High) but Five is actractive because alone can work as stereo speaker...  Thanks to all Rino

I know that I can continue to use my ZonePlayer once it’s been put into recycle mode. My question is: I’d like to give it to my brother in law to try out Sonos by connecting it to his existing stereo - would this work for him? If he has his own Sonos account and adds the ZonePlayer to an S1 app?   Nevermind - should have a read a bit more closely! Continue using your old product, give it to someone else for a second life, take it to a certified e-recycling center, or return it to us.

Hi -- I apologize if this has been asked before, but I couldn’t find it posted (at least recently).   I have a 5.1 surround setup with a playbar, sub (the old version) and two play:1’s. Would replacing the playbar with an Arc work pretty seamlessly? Or do I need the newer Sub to go with the arc?   Thanks for any help!
