Hello,I’m unable to connect to my Symfonisk using the Sonos controller app (61.1.82310) on Windows 10 (64-bit, version 20H2), even though all is working fine from Android. The Symfonisk is connected to the wireless network. The PC is connected to the same router via ethernet cable. Both devices obtained a DHCP IP address in the same class C network (192.168.255.x)I’ve been searching the forums and checked all possible issues I could find:the PC ethernet connection is using the Private profile Windows firewall rules for Sonos are in place (the controller s/w did that) I can ping the Symfonisk from the PC I can see the Sonos Support Info page on the browser on the PC (http://192.168.255.21:1400/support/review) I’ve disabled the firewall and the AV (Windows Defender), the problem remainsWhat am I doing wrong? Thanks in advance.

Hey peeps,I’m very puzzled as I can’t find TruePlay anywhere in my Sonos app. Is this feature simply gone?App version 12.2.2Looking forward hearing from you.

Hi,I am using an Sony KDL-40E5510 with an Apple TV 4K. The Apple TV is connected via HDMI to the TV, and control of the TVs on/off and volume via the Apple TV remote works fine. Now I would like to add a Sonos Beam to improve audio quality and am unsure what is the best way to connect the Beam to the other devices. Ideally I would want to be able to control the Beam’s volume via the Apple TV remote and avoid using Bluetooth. The TV does not seem to have a HDMI ARC port, at least nothing is mentioned in the manual or on the rear where the ports are. It does have an optical out. Would an optical connection include a volume control, or would I have to manually control the volume on the Beam? How about a HDMI splitter that sends the signal from the Apple TV to both the TV and Beam? The other option seems to be Airplay? I guess then the Apple TV would for sure be able to control the Beam’s volume? However it seems to me that this would be the most complex and thus most error prone way of integr

I bought one sonos five (as they didn't have a second one due to holidays and being sold out everywhere) and i was blown away ! I ended up buying a second one 3 days later and created a stereo pair. They're amazing! Now, i know nothing about electricity in terms of numbers but I live in the USA and with this stereo pair, at about 75% volume, it makes my ceiling lights start flickering when the bass hits. They are plugged into the same wall outlet (the only 2 plugs close to where I need it). Do you think the pair pulls in too much electricity for the 2 sockets or even for the breaker itself? Any recommendations ? Should I use a surge protector?

Hi. I’ve been slowly expanding our Sonos setup. Next up is the main family room TV setup. Currently I have just the playbar there (original playbar). Works great for TV. I’m wanting to add a pair of fives for both music and TV. This will not be a 5.1 setup as I don’t plan on adding the sub and I want to place the 2 fives on either side of the TV on stands. My question is, will this setup work well for TV along with the Playbar? I know the fives will be great for music, but I’m hoping it will also enhance the TV sound as well. Thanks so much for any thoughts and advice!

Hi! I have selected Sonos in the menu after the last system update  and the vol+ an vol.- are working, but when I try to mute don't work. Anyone with the same problem?

Hi there! I am about to own a turnable and was wondering if i can have a fully analog path from turnable to sonos play 5 speaker?I found some forum posts about this issue but i think was other users telling their opinion and couldn’t manage to figure out how signal path works. I would like some sonos official answer about this! Some users in this forum claim that once the analog signal from line-in reaches play-5 speaker whether or not this speaker sends data to other speakers the a/d conversion is the only path through. So does every signal from line in is converted in digital and then optionally sent to other sonos devices and each device makes the d/a final conversion? If so, is there any way to bypass the the a/d part of the a/d/a process? If not what do i need to do to have a fully analog path? Thanks a lot!!

S1 doesn’t work, all my devices are down including Boost. Why is this happening thought I was dealing with a professional company that cared about customer service… Unfortunately that does’t seems to be the case. Been a happy customer since 2010 but a pioneering spirit seems to have been replaced with an eager for profit, Sadly.

Sorry if this should be obvious…I have a very old Bridge/ZonePlayer 80 setup that runs through my traditional speakers, and I’m fine with that and staying on the old app.  My wife wants to add music in her office and was wondering if I can add refurbished Play:1 that I can get on the Sonos site (for $99).  Seems like the best choice if it will work without me having to upgrade everything!Thank you!

How do I enable the ‘ Now Playing Format on the TV part of he S2 app?  I can see it by going into “My System” only

Hi, I have a Sony WH-1000xm4 headphone.   Can I connect this to my Sonos Arc soundbar ?

Just upgraded to Catalina, and SONOS is now [b]useless[/b]. Despite being able to see and link to the USB drive with my music library, SONOS insists there's nothing there. I'm guessing it's some sort of paranoid OSX security setting - but would appreciate any help from you guys......

Or does it only affect speaking voices? If so, I don't suppose there are downsides to leaving it on all the time?

What are the best settings for a sonos arc and sub combination.  We are finding that the voices are faint and the music/action noises are overwhelming.  I have tried the speach enhancement but that makes the whole thing sound a bit 'tinnie'  Before this we had a pretty basic panasonic soundbase and to be honest that worked better.I must be missing something.  This was an expensive outlay for me and my wife just wants to send it all back.

Hi, I connected my LG 60ln570t model via hdmi arc to my sonos beam. However I keep getting simplink not connected error when I try to set my TV up.Tried restarting and changing my cable but doesn't work. Any help on this.

I’m looking to add an in wall subwoofer to my sonos home theater system. Currently I have an arc center channel and then 2 sets of architectural in wall speakers running to 2 separate amps for front/back, left/right. I would like to run two subs, one to each amp. Any recommendations on in wall subs to use? As well, what connections work best to get the most sound?

[Soap-box]Every time the Sonos software is updated this happens. The fix is NEVER the same. After spending $2000 on speakers (that work great when the software works) its frustrating to have to do this again…. and again. My Mac is on BigSur 11.0.1I just updated my Sonos:controller: 12.2.2 Build: 61183220Hardware version: 1.12.1.7-1.2 Everything 2 days ago was working fine. Now, the music library (which didnt change locations) will not allow me to add it (dont know why I have to do this on an upgrade anyway) so, while I CAN listen to Pandora, iTunes music is not permissible. What have I done to attempt fix it?1- Turned off firewall (norton 360) - [didnt help]2- Uninstalled norton360 - [didnt help]3- Gave Sonos full disk access permissions [didnt help]4- Revisited Privacy and Security Settings, re-set them [didnt help]5- re-installed Norton and re-associated permissions with app [didnt help]6- Cussed a great deal as now the plesaure of listening to music has now pissed me off [didnt help]

I want to use a Sonos port for line-in from TV audio output. Network connection would be wired and I’m able to adjust audio delay from the tv. I’m wondering if: has anyone done this? is the delay steady? If this won’t work - any ideas on how to be do this?I’m using sonos ports for all other wired speakers zones in my house and will feed audio from the port that is being fed from the TV’s line out.

Hello Can i use Move as a win10 wifi speakers? How can i do this

Hi All,I have a several speaker ranging from Play 1to Play 5 beams sub etc Like most people who been using Sonos for 10 years we can up grade. My question is the festive offer off £100 for a Move doesn't qualify me the further 15% off.In fact it take the 15% off and not show the £100 off. So is it one or the other?

I have a Linksys Velop Mesh system in my home connected to my Xfinity modem. I also have a guest network for a separate access point for the tenants in the adjoining duplex.  My Sonos system can’t see the primary network created by the mesh system. On other threads people have suggested going into ‘bridge’ mode in order for Sonos to be able to see the mesh network. But as I understand it, bridge mode would close the separate access point I created for my tenants and put us all on the same access point. Is there an alternative to ‘bridge mode’ for Sonos to be able to see my mesh network without losing my other access point to bridge mode?

I have a Sonos beam , Sonos 1SL and a Sonos 1 set of speakers. I am finding it impossible to create a surround or 3.1 system via the Sonos app. My beam is connected to my TV via optical out and works fine. My 2 Sonos speakers work fine as a stereo pair. How can I do this, or do I have incompatible speakers?

I have an Arc and 2 Sonos Ones. I’m trying to setup the surround and it is failing with no error code. All devices are V2. They are all accessible on my network. The router is a Netgear Nighthawk triband router. I’m attempting the setup from an IPhone running IOS 14.2.1.  Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

is there a headset that will work with Sonos beam? Listened to too much Zep & Queen at the required volume in my time! got a great beam system and can just turn it up when i’m alone. but when watching with the wife i need to turn volume up a little too much for her liking. would like something that allows me to listen independent of the other speakers.

I recently moved and am setting up my sonos in the new house. I’ve had to factory reset each speaker to install in the new location. (No Issue) I have successfully installed the other systems so far, but my play:5 is not connecting to my phone at set up. (see pic 1) I then plug into my google wifi router and successfully install the speaker. I then update the network settings and when i unplug the ethernet the sonos system can no longer find the speaker. I have tried restarting the router during every step of the process, I have deleted and reinstalled the sonos app, i have tried installing from multiple devices.  Any help would be great!
