Disappointed when I received this message when starting the app to play from my iPad. Not interested in having to pay for a service to stream from my music collection. What’s driving this decision? Note - creating an incentive for me to search for another music solution in my home. Can’t begin to describe how unhappy I am. Have been so happy with Sonos and bragged about the system to friends. That sounds like I’ll have to do a 180. Any one else feeling the same?

One of the best features of sonos system is playing different music from the same spotify account on multiple Sonos speakers at the same time. When I use Google Assistant to start playing a song in a certain room, it works great. But when give a secomand command to play a different song in another room, it stops the already playing stream. I believe it forwards the comannd to Spotify, and not to Sonos. My setup is two Sonos play:1s, and android based assistant / google home app. I will get a google home mini, and a google home hub What am I missing?!

Hello I bought two sonos one SL speakers and wanted to connect them to my tv. But I can’t work out how to Bluetooth them to my TV

When I add new music to Apple it doesn’t appear in recently added music on the SONOs app. I add the Apple Music through my Apple Music app on my iPad. This always worked but not now.

Hi there, recently bought an older model Samsung (NU7100), and Sonos Beam etc. Sonos is wired and working well without the TV (music only). But I am having issues with TV connectivity. Things I've tried; [list] [*]I connected the Beam via HDMI Arc (Tv input was HDMI arc). The sound was delayed and intermittently switched on and off. [/list] [list] [*]I then ran an update on both the TV and Samsung, still same issue. [/list] [list] [*]Tried turning off all products beside the Beam, still same issue. [/list] [list] [*]Tried using the optical port on the TV (via the HMDI / optical adapter that came with the Beam). The only option on the TV that was now available to select other than the the "TV sound", did not work. No sound. [/list] [list] [*]Went back to the HDMI Arc connection, it is now missing from the TV option menu. [/list] Am I missing something? I am going to try another TV tomorrow, thinking maybe I'll try another HDMI 2 cable?? Thanks in advance... hoping it isn't somethi

I am curious to know what bluetooth audio codecs the Move supports. Particularly if it supports Aptx HD or one of the other higher resolution codecs like LDAC. Thanks!

Will we be able to play music from Amazon Music Unlimited to our Sonos speakers using Google Assistant in the future? I realize an Echo device would be the obvious choice here, but I'm hoping to be able to do this with my Android phone.

MY sonos wont play my Amazon music. I will say "Alexa play my music" Alexa will respond "Playing your music on Amazon Music". However no song will play or no sound will come out. If i mannually play through the app it will work, however when using Alexa via voice command it will not. I have updated the app after this occured to troubleshoot, relinked my amazon account, but no-joy. Any suggestions?

ok, I've installed my brandnew Sonos One succesfully (yay!) on my home wifi network, and now I want to setup voice control (Alexa, Google, whatever) on my Sonos One. All the internet sources tell me to simply add the 'Voice service' in the Sonos app (=iOS, latest version), and select 'Alexa'. [u]Problem[/u]: when going to 'Services' in the Sonos app, there simply is no 'Voice' option. There is the 'Music' service you can add (which I did: I've added Apple Music), but no 'Voice' service to add... How is this possible? (I've reinstalled the Sonos app multiple times, I've rebooted my iPhone. I've looked for answers online). So... help! Anybody? (btw, I did not have an Alexa account before, but I've created one now. And yes, the Alexa service is available in my country.) So, thank you very much for advicing me what to do.

Apologies if this has been asked previoiusly - I did search but couldn’t find a thread. Is there any way to listen to a Sonos playlist on a pair of bluetooth headphones? I bought my son the pair of Bose QC35 wireless headphones for Christmas that’s he’s been begging for but I belated realise his playlists are all on the Sonos. We don’t have a Connect - but even if I did that would necessitate rigging it up to a PC and pairing the headphones with that. I was rather hoping I could stream the audio via his iPad but I believe that’s not possible. Is there a smart way to do this I’m missing?

Since last update, when we turn on the TV, Sky Q box and Beam, there is no sound for a minute or so. controlling the volume, mute, input etc makes no difference, there is just no sound. It as if the volume is on minimum or on mute. then suddenly it will just start to play sound from the TV. i have tried changing from music to tv and back, music plays, just not the TV sound. wife is swearing a lot 😖 Diagnostics - 591168226 just suddenly started with the latest software update, there has since been a Samsung update, but this did not fix it and there had not been a Samsung or sky update before this. the only update was Sonos.

Two Gen 1 Play 5’s in stereo.  I’m having some drop outs due to network issues at the moment. Before I buy the cabling would the following work to remove them entirely from needing to do anything wirelessly?   Ethernet cable from router to one of the speakers then ethernet cable from that speaker to the other. I have an Onkyo receiver that is compatible with a Sonos Connect, will I get at least the same compatibility with a Sonos Port?Further, are there any advantages with the Sonos Port apart from what I understand of upgraded audio components? Thanks in advance. 

I recently did the “trade up” program and got rid of my 15-year-old Sonos amps, replaced with the Connect:Amp. What I notice is that with the prior hardware I could adjust bass, treble, loudness.  Now that new components in place, I am no longer seeing that option. Just me, or am I missing something?

Can the new Sonos Amp be used as a 3.1 system?i have three non smart paradigm speaks are left, right and centre channels, and a paradigm base subwoofer that are connected to a Denon AMP for sound for the TV.i want to run this setup through the new Sonos AMP but it looks like it is only a  2.1 system.the reason being I have 4 Sonos One’s throughout  the house for music and want to use my Paradigm system with my Sonos system. So can the Sonos AMP be used as a 3.1 system?Also if I loose the centre channel how will it sound out of two speakers, I hear the Sonos AMP has a way of making it sound like there is a centre channel? 

Hello everyone, I would need your help, please! I was wondering if the Dolby Digital 5.1 format is supported by my Sonos Home Theater system. I stream Netflix content from my Apple TV 4th gen, video sent to a video projector via HDMI and send the audio to my Sonos via AirPlay 2. I have 1 playbase, sub and 2 Sonos 1, grouped all together and the 2 Sonos 1 configured as surround speakers. I want to be sure that I really cover DD5.1 format and not just stereo, I try to find info about that but no success. anyone knows if this format is supported? And how to be sure that I send 5.1 to my Sonos speakers? Is it on the Apple TV or Sonos app setup? thanks in advance for your help and advices! cheers

I have a Beam with an Amazon Fire TV stick 4K. I have linked the devices in the Alexa app and can switch on tv, start playing programs (e.g. "play Peaky Blinders”) and all works well (TV will switch on and play the requested program). But if I cannot just open apps (e.g. “open Netflix” or “open Prime Video”); when I do instead of going to the home page of the app it takes me to the search page of Fire TV with the app I asked for highlighted. Everything else seems to work and the “open app” commands work if I use the Fire TV remote. Clearly the command has been heard and sent via the Beam to the Fire TV stick, but it does not get as far as opening the requested app. Am I missing something?

I would be looking at buying the SONOS MOVE for use in our MotorHome (That’s an RV @Ryan S and @Chris) So as the motorhome runs on 12v which I know the Move doesn’t then I need to have a good idea how long it will run from a full charge connected to my iPhone via Bluetooth.I can plug in 240v but if hooked up on a site it would probably knock out the power due the high amps. ThanksDave

Recently with no changes from my side, Alexa stopped working and says it can't communicate if I try to call it. The Mic is definitely on and the Sonos system is working fine otherwise.I already restarted my Beam, and I removed the device and skill via Alexa app, but now if I try to de-register Alexa via the Sonos app I get an error "there was a problem removing your account".Connectivity (i.e.wifi and internet) are fine, does anyone know how I can resolve this?  

Every time I use Beam through AirPlay or if I use voice assistance for playing something, the device disconnects from TV. I have a Samsung TV with HDMI-ARC (Anynet+), and I have to turn the Beam off and on again every time it disconnects. Not convenient at all.  Why is this happening? Any help is appreciated!

So I'm thinking of getting a couple of Sonos Ones and the Beam. But I use Tidal. Does Alexa work with Tidal?

As of 10/28/2019 version 10.5 of the app requires Android 7.0 or later. We purchased a PLAY:5 planning to use our Android 6.0 phones to set it up. Is the 10.4 version still available? Otherwise a new phone ($$) or we own a boat anchor.We plan to use it exclusively as an internet radio.Any helpful info will be appreciated.

I’ve just bought the Sonos One. How do I get Alexa to play my playlists from Apple Music? I can physically select music to play off Apple Music but when asking Alexa she won’t play, something about Amazon Music is mentioned
