Playing Lossless 24bit FLAC streaming music on Play 5: Generation 1

We have a pair of Play 5’s: Generation one speakers. Will they stream lossless 24bit FLAC from primephonic? I think I understand that the Generation 1’s will play FLAC - but not the 24 bit. Thanks to anyone who can clarify.

Primephonic offers two levels of streaming: Would be hear a difference between the Premium and Platinum services on S1/Play 5 Generation 1? Or, would we need the new Play 5’s? Thank you for your response.
