Hello... I hope someone can help. I have a playbar and woofer connected to my tv and it works fine. I have several play 1 speakers in my room also. I had the playbar and all 4 speakers all controlled on the app, then one day the playbar disappeared from the app and now I can't connect the TV sound to my other speakers... or my playbar to music playing on the other speakers. This happened before, sonos did an update and they all came back... after a few days, the playbar disappeared again. Help! Thanks.

I’m mostly new to Sonos (I have the Move) and I’m looking to replace my existing living room setup with something that’s compatible for a multiroom setup in the future. Right now I have my xbox, chromecast, etc hooked up to my receiver and the TV’s ARC HDMI going into the receiver as well so I can play the smart apps through it. From the digging I’ve done I see I need either a Five, Play:5, Amp, or Port for the turntable. I’ve ruled out the Five/Play:5 for a variety of reasons and I think the right move for my room is Amp/Port, Arc/Beam, and either two Symfonisk bookshelf speakers or One SLs. Can someone help me understand how the Port would work in conjunction with the Arc/Beam here? I’d connect the Port output to the turntable and then the input to the receiver via RCA again. I see the setup instructions for the soundbars are to plug it into the TV’s ARC HDMI port and this is where I get kinda lost. Would that still be necessary with the Sonos Port? Dear Sonos team/community,since one of the more recent Sonos Controller updates, the experience when browsing Spotify through the controller application totally changed.Since basically the beginning of (Sonos-)time it has been possible to browse the Spotify catalogue for the featured/highlighted playlists which change throughout the day and the thousands of playlists which are available in the different genre sections. E.g. you could go to genres and choose between rock, electronic, mood playlists, rap and many many more.I used this workflow a lot every day to play exactly the playlists of which genre I want to hear right now.Now, as mentioned, this experience has entirely changed. As far as I can see in the iOS or Windows controller apps, it’s now only possible to browse though folders with playlists which I either recently listened to or which are recommended by the Spotify algorithm.Like I said, this breaks a workflow I (and my entire family) was using for quite a few years already.

Hi all...so yep, seen all old info on playlist saving on android phone,so I am aware you cannot.So my question now is………..Today i got a sonos 5 (also have a beam) and am looking for a way to not have my PC on to make and save a playlist , and play my music…..…Bluetooth adaptor and use third party app on my android phone ?,if so recommendation pleaseGet an old windows tablet/ would that work,…...or windows phone?At the moment I have ordered a usb c to line in so I believe I can use my phone with 3rd part app that saves playlists “hopefully" .Just looking for a way to use a small  hand held device to control sonos and have playlists on it.Any help or advice much appreciated….cheers all.

It’s been 5 weeks since I was able to successfully connect to Airplay on my Play:5’s and three Play:1’s...all upstairs...all on the same wifi network. This worked until it didn’t. I’ve: Factory-reset all of the offending speakers, choosing different names than they were before. Completely reset my Orbi router and satellite and built the network up from scratch, including over 50 smarthome devices. Restarted every device on the network. Moved the devices that DON’T work downstairs to sit next to the devices that DO work. Moved the non-working speakers to every area of the house with a power outlet in an attempt to get a “better(?)” wifi connection. I have purchased two Boosts (one for the downstairs, the other for upstairs). It didn’t make Airplay work and even made network connectivity worse than before. (I have since disconnected both of those and continue to regret that purchase.) None of this brought me any joy even as Airplay continues to function perfectly on those speakers

Hi, hoping someone can help :) I have an Arc and the whole system is now on S2. I'd like to add a sub. Is the Gen 1 compatible with the Arc and S2? I don't want to have to split between S1 and S2.Thank you :) 

I know this questions has been asked a couple of times in the past. I haven’t been able to locate a thread. I changed my wifi from ATT to Xfinity Wifi. Network name and password the same.  Sonos App says it is unable to connect to sonos Fix it. I go through the steps to reconnect the playbar and the app continues to say “No System Found.”  I have even plugged the playbar directly into the modem/router without success.  Can someone point me to a thread or offer some assistance for a fix?

Hi All,I am based in the UK and have Sonos arc/sub/sirrounds with Samsung 55 Q9FN  (2018) ,  SkyQ and 4k Blu-ray. I am getting the HD FURY Arcana but would like to hear what you think the best streaming device would be to get Dolby Atmos for Disney +.  I can get DD5.1 warching Disney + from SkyQ and I can even  get DD+ 5.1 through the Samsung TV app but no Atmos through either. Any suggestions gratefully received. Thanks.

I bought a new Beam on Jan 5th. I connected it to my 12 month old Samsung Smart TV (Series 7) using the supplied ARC lead and it began working fine. Then, a few days later the TV wouldn’t switch on and I could only resolve the problem by disconnecting the power to the TV and after waiting a few moments reconnecting it. Since then this has been happening every few days.  I’ve checked that the remote works OK.  I thought the power supply to the TV might be the issue so I have now connected the TV directly to a wall socket instead of using an extension cable.   Samsung’s support asked me to check to see if the TVs standby light was on, off or flashing. At first I couldn’t find any standby light (it’s very feint and downwards projecting onto non-reflective surface) but when I did I noticed that when the TV was switched off it was flashing intermittently.  I disconnected the Beam and the light stopped flashing. When I reconnected the Beam it came on for a few moments but then resumed flashi

Hi, hoping someone might be able to help.we purchased a new Sony tv this year and we have connected our playbar and our play 3 to the tv.  All was going fine until one day we turned on tv and there was no sound through the Sonos.I had to switch the speakers back to tv speakers and I haven’t been able to get Sonos to play sound through tv since.When I do have the audio speakers selected on the tv and I turn the volume up and down with the report it does change the volume settings in the Sonos app.  So even tho there is no sound the tv and the Sonos app are still connect some how. I can also play music through the Sonos app to the speakers.  So I know the speakers work fine. I can recall a recent Sony update- but I can find any evidence to show that might be the reason for the drop out. any suggestions welcome.  Thank you!!

Stereo pair no longer works. I have a left and right channel, plus the Sonos sub. Currently, only the left speaker and the sub will work. The weird thing is, I know the right speaker is connected and on the network. I know this because I can talk to it via Alexa, give it commands to play, pause, and I can touch the physical buttons on the speaker as well, and those work to pause, skip songs, etc.The problem is there is just no audio coming out of that right speaker. I have already gone through unpairing, repairing, separating, joining them back together, Etc. What is causing this, and how do I prevent it from happening ever again? It's been going on for a couple of weeks now.

I have the following setup: Apple TV 4k Projector connected to Apple TV via HDMI in back of room Sonos Beam and Sub in front of room under screen 2 Sonos Ones in back of room The above Sonos products are grouped together I connect Apple TV to my Sonos system wirelessly given the locations of the equipment Problem(s): Every single time I turn on Apple TV, the audio settings revert to HDMI and I have to unselect and reselect my Sonos system deep in settings.  Sometimes when I do this, the selection does not work, and the volume continues to come out of the projector speakers. I’ve recently noticed that my Sonos system will work for certain Apple TV apps and not others (i.e. HBO, Hulu, Netflix work through Sonos, but system sounds, like scrolling, and other apps, like TruTV, default to the HDMI). Does anyone know of a workaround or solution for these three likely interrelated issues? Thanks!

Hey guys! I just purchased my Sonos Port yesterday with the intention of using it in conjunction with my Alexa Devises and creating a whole-home audio system. I have an Echo Dot that I wanted to use in the living room to control the Sonos Port, and Alexa speakers throughout the house. I enabled the skill for Sonos in the Alexa App. I made the Sonos Port as the “Preferred Speaker” in the room in the Alexa app, but when I go to change the echo dot speaker to use the “Preferred Speaker” (The Sonos) it doesn’t work. It still plays on the Echo Dot speaker. I tried it on my other Alexa devises and it does the same thing. On top of this I cant add the Sonos Port to a group through the Alexa app to accomplish the whole home audio I’m looking for. According to Sonos it should be able to work.  The whole reason for getting the Sonos was not only to play my online library though my surround sound, but to have whole home audio in the house. Hello,  I’m confused. I was in the understanding LPCM is not (yet) supported by the Arc. Well, I just hooked everything up to my new LG CX (with eArc).  When playing a movie with Dolby TrueHD or  DTS(-HD MA) through Infuse on the Apple TV 4K which by default converts everything to LPCM, the “About My System”  page in the Sonos App shows the following.  It says “Dolby Multi-Channel PCM 5.1” and of course I can hear the sound as well. I’m just confused about the  “Dolby” part. Isn’t the whole purpose of LPCM that it isn’t Dolby or DTS. Hello,This is my first question to the community.  Hoping to get some answers and that it’s a simple solve.I recently purchased a Beam and connected it to my new Samsung TV.  Took me a few tries but realized that connecting the Bean to the HDMI (ARC) port was the way to go.  The Beam worked great for streaming services (Movies & Audio) and I was extremely pleased with the quality of sound.The problem arose when I connected my Optimum Cablebox to the TV (using HDMI) and there was no audio coming from the Beam while watching TV through the Cablebox.  Picture and everything else works fine.I checked audio settings on the cable box - Double checked settings on the TV and still nothing.My guess is that there is something simple that I’m missing here…Cable is connected to the TV via HDMI. Beam is connected to the HDMI (ARC) port on the TV.Any thoughts? Thanks! 

I have a Sonos Arc, Sub (gen 3) and a pair of OneSL speakers. Connected to an LG C9 OLED TV with eARC enabled. Much Dolby 5.1 content (specifically e.g. Friends on Netflix and Iron Man 2 on Disney+ but there is more) has inaudible dialog when played from an Apple TV 4K. Dolby Atmos is fine. Also the same content is fine when played from the television’s in-built Netflix and Disney+ apps. My previous soundbar, also eARC, was fine so it seems to be something to do with the Arc. Can anyone else try this and let me know if you have the same problem? Anyone have any suggestions?

My Sonos earc will trigger the screensaver on my Sony OLED a8h TV when listening to content from a cable company plugged into an hdmi port. Only the image disappears replaced by the TV screensaver. The sound continues to be played. This screen saver keeps reappearing until I use the controller to navigate through the Android apps offered by the TV without having to activate them. Subsequently, the broadcast via the cable distributor is carried out without problem ... until the next day. Yes the screen saver option is on off on the tv...  

I currently have a Arc, Sub Gen3, Pair of Sonos One 5.1.2 home theater setup. Wondering if I should switch the rear speakers to Sonos Five speakers? Would it enhance the home theater experience or would it be a overkill? I am willing to pay the extra money for Sonos Five as long as it enhances the experience by a considerable amount. Also, 2nd part of my question is if I do use Sonos Five as rear speakers and stream music to this system, does the music that come out of Sonos five, Sub Gen 3 (and arc sound bar) will be same as if I had a 2.1 system with Sonos five and Sub gen 3 or since this is in home theater setup, music experience is difference from standalone 2.1 system built with these same products. Note: My question is after changing the setting in Arc home theater system to play full music in rear speakers instead of using it as ambient speakers

Following installation of a new Sky hub I am unable to connect to my Sonos system on my HP Desktop computer (Windows 10); however, I am able to connect to Sonos using my Android phone and tablets (both use the S1 app).When I start the S1 Controller App on the laptop it opens with:In the “More Options” section I tried “Connect to Existing Sonos System” and However, when I try to open the Sonos app again I get the same message as shown in the first screenshot (above).I have just installed a new hub and updated new Wifi name and password on all my devices. My system is: 1 x BRIDGE (Version 11.2.2 2 x PLAY 1 (Version 11.2.2) 1 x PLAYBAR (Version 11.2.2) I have tried all the remedies in the website troubleshooting guide, i.e. unplug and restart router, etc.  I have also uninstalled and reinstalled Sonos1 app on desktop; and made sure VPN is turned off.Thank you.>

I have set up a Sonos surround system (Playbase + 2 Sonos Ones) with Google Assistant.  I would like the Google Assistant to respond out of the RIGHT Sonos One surround, but at this time I believe it is not possible. I have tested and tried every combination of setting up the speakers without success.  When the Sonos Ones are not paired as surrounds to the Playbase, it is simple to add GA to either of them.  When they are paired as surrounds, the assistant can only present in one of them--which is understandable as the system recognizes the three speakers as one unit.  The default speaker Google Assistant is added to is the LEFT Sonos surround.  There does not appear to be a way to change this. I originally thought it may be defaulting to a certain speaker due to a naming preference--like it a naming appearing first alphabetially.  This is not the case--I tried every combination of unpairing and renaming the devices and testing.  I thought perhaps it was a case of a preference for cert
