Sonos beam as my only soundsystem showing 5.1

Hi all!

I’m only having the sonos beam connected to my TV (sony bravia X800h or XH80) and it’s showing an audio input of Dolby Digital 5.1, while the beam should only be 3.0. So, my question is, should it be on Dolby Digital 5.1 or on 2.0? And if it should be on 2.0, do you know how to change that?

It's fine. Your Beam is receiving 5.1, which is what the info is telling you.

The fact that you don't have enough speakers to play all six channels on distinct speakers is irrelevant to this
