Does speech enhancement affect dynamic range?

Or does it only affect speaking voices? If so, I don't suppose there are downsides to leaving it on all the time?

Speech Enhancement will boost the audio frequencies associated with the human voice, so it shouldn’t have any effect on dynamic range like Night Sound does. The only downside to leaving it on all of the time would be that it might over-emphasize some sounds within those frequencies that aren’t human voices.
