Hi All, I am a DJ wanting to connect my turntable and mixer to the Sonos speakers. I know through Sonos Connect there is a delay between the music played through the headphones and the actual music played out on the speakers.  I have just noticed Connect has been replaced with Port so I am wondering if maybe this delay issue has been fixed with Port.  Thank you 

Can I play my Sonos  playlist on someone else’s Sonos playbar?

I have a Samsung TV with sonos beam and 2x Plays for my surround set up.   Everything worked fine until I purchased a Manhattan T3 freeview box. Now when i turn on my TV and watch TV on the freeview box, my sonos sound doesn’t connect immediately. It takes about 40mins and then all of a sudden it will then switch from TV sound to the Sonos surround.   I have my TV set to the HDMI sound output by default. The sonos beam is plugged in to the HDMI / ARC port. When i switch on the TV and Freeview box, i try to manually change from TV speakers to the HDMI sound output, but it doesnt find it. I also go to the sonos app and try to connect, and it states no connection from the HDMI/ARC.   I have also tried turning off TV from sockets, unplugging all devices from HDMI ports and pluggin them back in. I have also reset the beam, deleted from app, but still problem is there. Please help   

Hi, My system has been working very well for now six months and suddenly last weekend seems to have stopped. I have a Beam, sub, and to play 1s and suddenly the sub in the play 1s aren’t working. I have tried to reconnect them all to get her via reset factory settings, and they won’t. Can you give me some advice on what to do please?

Can anyone recommend a power bank I can use to charge my Sonos Move via usb when I am away from mains power ?

Hello all   ive just purchased a Sonos beam and 2xones gen 2 speakers. I already have Alexa working away.    ive now setup the Sonos as surround system and it’s working great.    I decided to add Alexa to the Sonos.    it’s seems to add with no issues, everything is enabled and looks like it should work.    I get the initial Alexa voice warning and it states Alexa is working on the Sonos beam    the beam works with Alexa voice commands and also I can turn it on or off with a swipe of a finger  HERES THE PROBLEM GUYS   The 2 rear speakers don’t work at all with Alexa. They work perfectly with Sonos surround and the Sonos app but the little White microphone on the speakers doesn’t light up and can’t be swiped left or right. It’s permanently off and doesn’t respond.  in the Alexa app it’s enabled and can see the Sonos and I’ve added the Alexa via the Sonos app and all seems well apart from the rear speakers.    any help is really appreciated. I just bought Sonos Amp and Beam. I want to connect them with Apple TV 4K and Sony projector (VPL-HW65). The projector has just HDMI in, no HDMI ARC, no optical out. I have two passive rear speakers, and external subwoofer (Arendal).   I set Sonos Beam with Sonos Amp as surround.    1) Sonos Amp works just fine as standalone room. I can hear both passive speakers as well as connected subwoofer (Arendal). But I can't hear subwoofer if I pair Sonos Amp as a surround together with Beam.  Can I use external third-party subwoofer connected to Sonos Amp in 5.1 setup?   2) I'm sending sound from Apple TV 4K throught Airplay2 to Sonos (Beam+Amp(+LS+RS)). I tried default Apple TV > Settings > Video and Audio > Audio Format, then Dolby Digital 5.1. None of the options work, it plays only stereo to all speakers. Is it possible to play 5.1 sound from Apple TV with Airplay2?

I have 2 Move pair in stereo when use wifi. Is it possible to pair 2 Move to Bluetooth? Right now I can only pair with 1 Move.  

Volume on TV setup with sub, playbar, and two ones are randomly increasing the volume when playing music. Has not happened when watching TV. Random volume increase is random, but when it happens a song is playing and the volume will jump up. It will often jump up again to the point it is extremely loud. Resulting in just 

Hello, I am looking for a replacement power supply for the sonos port. Does anyone have recommendations ? The user manual specifies : ”Use only the included power supply (using a third-party power supply will void your warranty).” but there is no replacement sold on Sonos’ website…   I am pretty suprised a how fragile the power suplly cord is for a unit of this price.

Hej, jeg har et problem med lydforsinkelse på min connect.  jeg har et musikinstrument tilsluttet Line in på min connect, men når jeg spiller en lyd, går der for lang tid før den kommer ud af højtalerne.  jeg har i indstillinger sat lydforsinkelse på lavest niveau som er 75ms, men det er for meget.  er der ikke en løsning så man kan sætte den til 0 ? 

Hi does anyone know if there is a way to turn off the sonos alexa bing sound after a command has been executed?   I have had to turn off alexa on my sonos beam in my bedroom as the post command bing is very loud and wakes everyone up.   thanks kevin

når vi via vores beam beder google assistent om at afspille tuneln så gør den det, men lyden hakker. altså afspiller 2-3 sekunder, pause på 2-3 sekunder og sådan bliver den ved indtil vi finder appen frem på en enhed og vælger afspil derfra. Det er altså ikke forbindelsen til nettet eller tuneln da det kun sker via google assistent. Håber det er noget i kan se og fikse da vi elsker at bruge assistenten, det er så dejlig nemt :)  

Hi everyone! I am just about to buy a sonos device for a 5.1. Main device will not be wall-mounted so I have decided going for the playbase. I am just little worried about an apparent sibilant, crispy annoying treble. It will be used mainly for Cinema and Videogames. Is there really an annoying issue with the treble in the playbase? Should I go for the Beam or the Playbar, knowing that I will not use it wall-mounted? Thanks a lot!

I opted to replace my ZP80 that I feel like I’ve had forever and take advantage of the 30% off deal. Pretty simple configuration: The ZP80 was connected to my Denon AVR 4306 via the digital optical connector. I only used it to stream audio from SONOS to my Golden Ear speakers. So out with the ZP80, in with the Port, digital coax out to the Denon, retraining myself on assigning inputs on the Denon. It sounds awesome, me thinking there’s a definite difference in quality from the ZP80 set up. But I wonder….is that my $ rationalizing? Would analog out from the Port be a better option? Having gone full-on streaming long ago, the only other input into the Denon is a Blue-ray player so, unless I wanted multi-room FM audio, I can’t think of another use for the Port at this point. Thoughts? Suggestions? Thanks!

So I took SONOS up on their 30% off upgrade offer, bricked 4 devices and added two Beams and 4 more SONOS One 2nd Gen speakers.  I already had 2 SONOS One 1st Gen speakers.  Now Alexa won’t play Pandora upon request.  I ask, “Alexa, play Enya radio on Pandora” and I get the response “Enya radio on Pandora”.  But nothing happens.  I discovered if I state immediately after the response, “Alexa, play” then the music will actually start playing.  Yes, it’s a work around, but still annoying since the system worked perfectly before my expensive upgrade to the latest technology to make SONOS happy.  I’ve deleted the Pandora skill and re-added it … restarted everything … nothing helps.

Just purchased new laptop with Catalina iOS and App Store did not have Sonos App. Where can I find it? Is is findable or has Apple removed Sonos App?

Now that Sonos have announced that their products have an end-of-life (EOL), sometimes in as little as 5 years from purchase, can they please clarify their expected EOL projections for all products? Classifying them as “modern” or “legacy” does not help and is far too simplistic. Products can move status overnight without warning. It would be useful to know that a Sonos product bought today for several hundred pounds is expected to be viable for, say, 5yrs. If Sonos wishes to be a software company, they will need to embrace a more mature approach to this issue, and offer an SLA within each product sale to set customer expectations. For example, the Windows 10 support life-cycle has a five-year mainstream support phase that began on July 29, 2015, and a second five-year extended support phase that begins in 2020 and extends until October 2025. Microsoft manages this level of expectation management and costs a fraction of the cost of a home speaker system. 

Really struggling now….  spent hours going the forums and comments but I’m still no further on… got an original play1 blue and all of a sudden I can’t  play my iTunes music from my iPhone through my speaker… there’s just no option! I have deleted the app I have hard reset my Sonos speaker I have turns of restrictions. Still nothing! If I can’t get sorted then what’s the point of keeping the speaking that does play my music??    please help!!!

Hello Sonos, For the past few years I've used the line input on a Connect:Amp to power a left and right wired speaker with no issues. Recently, I started to notice a clear and obvious major delay from the line input source to the wired speakers. I do not have any other Sonos speakers connected wirelessly. I originally thought this was from my computer or a USB preamp I have for conference calls, but if I test the actual wired input (1/8" male jack from my computer headphone out to RCA left/right male in to the Connect:Amp) simply by touching the input to hear a buzz...there is now a 5 second delay to the wired speakers. This was not the case for 5+ years and just started happening about 3 weeks ago. I should note that streaming music from Apple Music or Spotify has no delay...I can press start and stop and the music stops immediately and pairs with other Sonos Play:1 and 3's I have. Only when I use the line input directly to the wired speakers is there an issue. Is there a new fi

Playbar + Play 5 grouped for Spotify music, but ungroup when I use the tv & have to be regrouped all the time, which is annoying. Also, can only change volume on Playbar while watching tv on Sonos app, not tv remote. Any advice would be helpful. Thanks  :)

SONOS have just deleted my post….and will probably delete this one as I hit send! The brand is going down the toilet within the space of days….customers are furious. Wake up SONOS!!!!

I have purchased two Sonos amps, and front and rear sets of the new Sonance architectural speakers. I want to use them for surround sound in a theater room. I have a cable box, an Apple TV, and apps within the smart TV that will all act as possible video/audio sources. What is the best way to configure so that the Sonos can provide surround from all of them? Use a home theater controller, run the devices into it, and then the HDMI outputs of the home theater controller to the AMPS? Or, possible to run both the cable box and Apple TV to different TV HDMI inputs, and then the TV audio signal to the Sonos? Do the Amps have to be wired to ethernet to allow for surround sound (front and rear) with the Sonace architectural speakers? I'm trying to find any guide published by Sonos on how to use 2 Amps to create 4.1 (virtual 5.1) surround. I got a verbal run through on the phone with them which was not in high detail. Thanks!

I have the Playbar connected directly to TV using the optical cable provided. I have Verizon Fios and was able to program remote to adjust Playbar volume but no matter what setting I choose on TV, I can not shut the tv speakers off completely. Anyone have any ideas?
