I have my music on a WD MyCloudES2Ultra NAS and have used that as my Sonos Music Library for several years. Suddenly, I can no longer access this music. I ultimately deleted the source and attempted to re-connect it but to no avail. I have tried using the IP address, using the mapped address and with the device name\share, all without success. I get the error message “Sonos was unable to add the music folder” plus following info. I am 100% sure I have the correct network addresses and username/password and I use the NAS daily for other purposes, including music to my JRiver Media Center. I am running Windows 10, fully up to date, Sonos S2 fully up to date (12.2.2) and works fine except for the Music Library function. The NAS firmware is also fully up to date. The NAS is connected to my router via ethernet and has a static IP. All work fine except for the Sonos/NAS connection. I can set up Music Library connections to files on my computer without problem. Of course I have re-booted the

Thinking of updating to an arc and want to use my current playbar as part of my music system. Is this possibleRegards

HiI have two Fives and a Gen 3 Sub connected together in one room and all are working well.  I have just connected up a new Pro-Ject T1 Phono SB turntable to my RH Five and I can get audio through that speaker but cannot get the sound to come out of the LH Five, nor the Sub.  I have looked online with no success for an easy fix, can someone please help to get this audio to play on the “room” (three speakers) and not just this one?  I have the S2 App running on a fairly new iPhone.  Thank you in advance!Sharon

I just got a Sonos arc.  I set up as follows: cable from arc to arc port, sound out through hdmi Arc, digital sound out through Auto, eArc enabled.  No sound comes out.  What am I doing wrong?

Will the Move work with my Sonos system if I am on the Sonos 1 app      Since I purchased my speakers in 2017 I cannot use the Sonos 2 app

Hi there,  First time posting - I’m looking to upgrade my Play:1 and ZP90… when I log on I can see that the Play:1 is eligible for a 15% credit, but the ZP90 doesn’t seem eligible… It’s weird as the only info it says in the upgrade section is ‘S1 ONLY’ - exactly the reason I want to upgrade…! Any advice would be greatly appreciated!! Mike

If I stream music either from my iPhone or through a streaming app on the TV there is no bass from the subwoofer in the music. Is this normal? My Bose Lifestyle 600 sure did.

I am in the process of upgrading my family room home theater system with a new television/Xbox Series X/Sonos ARC.  We do a significant amount of online gaming and I am concerned about multiple blogs complaining about in-game audio lag with this setup.  This appears to be an issue across multiple setups including non-SONOS sound bars.  Before I spend a ton of cash I am wondering if there is an inherent problem with the console>TV>eARC>soundbar format with gaming specifically.  I envision that there is limited ability to adjust AV sync with online gaming since it is quite important not to have a delay in either in this environment.  For reference my current set up is XBOX One X with audio directly out to Playbar via optical and HDMI to my television with no delay issues but obviously only outputting 5.1.

I currently have the Arc with 2 Sonos ones as my surrounds and with the gen 2 sub in my living room.I was wondering if I could add the Sonance in-wall or in-ceiling speakers or both powered by the amp to have them work with my living room setup? Or if I could group them to the same room?

Play 5 gen version 1 or 2 ?

Playbar stopped recognizing TV (Samsung Q7 QLED) remote volume signals. Was working fine for months. I tried reconfiguring TV remote in sonos app. The playbar sensor does not recognize the signal from the volume button BUT recognizes the signal when I push the power button ( I know it’s picking up the signal because of the ir light). It won’t recognize any other button besides the power button. ALSO I CAN configure a different remote without a problem (which makes me think it might be an issue with the remote and not the playbar ir sensor). I just find it so strange that the playbar can pick up the signal from the power button, but none of the other ~10 (especially considering how long it was working flawlessly)  Side note: I already changed the batteries on the remote. And my TV itself still recognizes all the remote buttons as normal.

We’ve been long time Sonos users, and have 4 Play:1s throughout the house. We originally had a Bridge to tie the SonosNet to the wired network, but since S2 came out, we ditched the bridge. Rather than getting a Boost, we had one (and now two) of the Play:1s connected via ethernet, with the two others connected via SonosNet (not standard wifi). We’ve been experiencing songs getting cut off with playing through Spotify (or sometimes even from the phone), and today we just noticed that even when grouped, not all the speakers would cut out. So I did a little digging. The players that cut out were the ones with SeriesID A101 (HW Version 1.8.3.7-1.0) and the ones that kept playing were A200 (HW Version 1.20.1.6-1.1) The network matrix has all the devices in the green, but the grid boxes are all yellow. We considered getting a Boost, but I’m not sure that will help. Any advice would be appreciated.

Missing Spotify albums on Sonos. For example, Spotify album Guy by Steve Earle does not show up browsing albums by Steve Earle or searching for Guy in Albums. I have had this problem with other artists, albums, songs which are available on Spotify, but don’t show up on Sonos. Yes, I can play them straight from Spotify on my Sonos speakers. But everytime I can’t find an album on Sonos I shouldn’t have to go doublecheck via Spotify. Thanks–

Hi, I am using Sonos OS S1. I recently took a free 3 month Amazon Music Unlimited subscription, however it does not appear as an option in my Sonos Amazon Music menu. I do see the following under the Amazon Music option:PlaylistsStationsChartsRecommendedNewMy MusicI have removed and re-added Amazon Music as a service in Sonos multiple times and re-authorised Sonos to use my Amazon account multiple times. I have also re-stalled the Sonos S1 software a couple of times, all to no avail. I am located in England and my profile settings reflect this. Can anyone help please? Luckily I am at the free stage of the subscription at the moment, however it is of little use if I cannot play the music through my Sonos speakers. Thanks for you help.

I have a wifi extender for the garden. All my sonos products are on the main wifi. However when my phone switches onto the extender wifi, I can no longer access the Sonos network in the App. The extender is TP-link (same as router) and is on the one-mesh setting with same name and password. 1st world problem I know! But annoying!

I have two rooms:Living Room: sonos one gen 1 Kitchen:  sonos one gen 2We always play music using Airplay on our iPhones.I’d like to have three ways to connect to bluetooth to connect via AirPlay:Living Room Kitchen All Rooms: both Living Room and KitchenAs it is right now options one and two exist, I just need assistance in setting up the All Rooms option. I tried to create a group however it says you can only do that for three or more rooms. Thanks in advance!

Is there a way to remove Sonos Radio from the menus in the mobile and/or desktop apps?   It’s rather in the way, and since we already have Spotify, Amazon, Tunein, I really don’t need to add another service. Since it’s confusing for people to see it, and then be presented with a login box (why!?), I’d rather just hide the icon. Is there a way? If not, why not?

It’s my first time purchasing anything from Sonos and I thought it would be best to order directly from their website, but I failed to check what delivery courrier they use in Toronto, Canada. My package was set to arrive yesterday. However, upon email notification from Purolator that my package had been delivered to my door, I sent my roommate a text to retrieve it but nothing was there. I understand that this quarantine is a trying time on delivery drivers but the doorbell was not wrung nor was there a knock at the door (I live in a not-so-safe neighborhood in the city, so I have a feeling my package was stolen from my doorstep).   I think I need to file a claim with Purolator, but I also read on the Sonos website that I technically assume responsibility if a package was stolen/lost. If anyone has had previous experience with a Sonos package being stolen, what course of action do you typically take? and what should I do given my situation? I am  unable to just purchase another speake

I’ve seen a few similar questions on here but no clear answers. How moisture resistant is the Sonos move? Can it be used in the bathroom while taking a hot shower without sustaining any damage? The fan in our bathroom is broken so there’s a lot of steam/condensation

Hi,I bought a Sonos Beam soundbar for my TV and am happy with it.  But I also want to add the soundbar to my Google Home Speaker Group.  I have seen threads on this support group saying this is not possible and I certainly have not been able to do it.  I just wonder that since the threads are the best part of a year old, has there been any progress in fixing this problem?  Without this being resolved I will not be purchasing any Sonos add-ons.  My Bang and Olufsen speakers are part of my Google Home Speaker Group.Thanks. G St

Hello, I've recently purchased a Sonos Beam, Sony X900H and an Xbox Series X.The X900H has the eArc update. I am connected via hdmi in the eArc port. eArc is set to auto in settings.Sound on the TV apps work well. However, on the series x, there is a significant audio delay. I have changed to optical (re-syncing my remote etc.) and the delay was worse. Now I'm back to hdmi eArc, and wondering what my options are. I have tried:-changing a/v sync options - auto, on, off-eArc mode offI have tried swapping to PCM which seems to help. I'm not exactly sure what that is so any insight would be appreciated. The only thing I can tell is the sound seems a bit more hollow on PCM mode. Thanks for your help.

Hi folks. To set the context:- moved into new home. Existing sub reset to factory.- new home installed 3 amps each running 2 stereo for different zones (2 are sonance 1 jensen) with an arc.- running amps hardwired and sonos arc is wireless. 1. My soundbar is not able to set 1 amp and 1 bass for a dedicated home theatre setup. I've tried numerous variations from resetting each device and reconnecting to no avail. Has anyone experience an issue whereby the soundbar needs to be hardwired and so does amp and sub? Or should I be able to have a home theatre setup on 1 zone with the arc wired, surrounds via amp wired, and wireless sub? Or is it possible to have wireless sonos arc, wired rear amp surrounds, and wireless sub. Thanks Sunny
