Hello, I am getting the following error when I try to add my Sonos One SL I purchased today to my ARC + Sub Gen 3. “There was a problem adding your surrounds”. My network is Ubiquiti (router is UDM Pro, the APs are FlexHD). All my devices are in the same VLAN.I have reseted the SL speakers and adding them to my account again, adding as surround multiple times, restated all my network devices, restarted my ARC and Sub.  Nothing has worked at all when I am trying to add them to my ARC.The One SL did join the WIFI and I can stream music to them individually (using AirPlay for example).My ARC and SUB gen 3 are connected by Ethernet. Both of the Sonos One SL are setup wireless. Also, after trying to join both speakers and getting that error, it does list them as surround but it doesn’t really work. Here is my diagnostic confirmation number: 1540609632 I grabbed the diagnostic right after the failure.

The Sound disapears periodically on a LG tv (not the Oled your other answer relates to). sound is connected through hdmi-arc. help! Really annoying on a new product. 

I have a Mac mini which had the Apple Music (formerly iTunes; I am not referring to the subscription service by the same name which I also have) set up as the Music Library. I had some version of this setup since 2013. My Sonos components are grouped into five zones, two of which are Soundbar, two Play:1 as surround, and Sub; the other three are two stand-alone Play:1, and a Move. All are on 12.2.2 (build 61183220) except the Move which is I note is 12.2.4 (build 61185090), but no updates are available. The Mac mini is running Catalina 10.15.7; it has some security updates but no major updates recently as that is of course now Big Sur, which isn’t supported on the Mac mini I have. The Mac mini’s primary function is as an AV unit so it is connected to a TV, and about two weeks ago while watching something I noticed the Sonos app bouncing, reporting it could not update the Music Library. I then noticed it was doing this every day, with the 2am update presumably having failed. So, I delet

Curious to know if any update from a stream posted a year ago regarding Sonos App allowing to select multiple languages for Alexa Assistant on Sonos Beam. Alexa app allows for echo devices to have this option i.e English and French - but no apparent way to do this via Alexa app to touch Beam settings.  

I have the beam and rear play ones.  I’m interested in getting the sub BUT, my wife hates loud sounds and I live in an apartment. I know you can adjust the bass levels so my question is , will the minimal bass setting sound “ok” for my quiet environment.  I don’t need loud explosions.  Just need to add a slight bass punch to my current setup.Or would i better off getting the ARC for improved bass.  The only bad thing is that the room is not a traditional 4 wall space.  Its kind of wide open behind me and to one side.Thanks 

Hi, I am a novice at tech stuff and new to Sonos, so go easy on me!  I have a Sonos PlayBar, Play1 and Sonos One.  Just bought an Audio-Technica bluetooth turntable LP60XBT.  Can I use bluetooth to connect this to my general Sonos system?  After reading many comments in this community, I am gleaning that the answer is no, except for the Sonos Move.  But using the Move will not connect to the rest of the system when it’s receiving bluetooth from the turntable?    Thanks in advance for suggestions!

There is something seriously wrong with Sonos support.  My Play One failed after less than 4 years and I had to purchase a replacement, with a small discount.  It was a painful process just to log the issue, then the replacement was delivered 10 days late, and only after I called several times to chase and escalated it.I now can’t return the faulty item as the link to send it back has expired as the delivery was late, and after I chased Sonos have sent 2 seperate emails from 2 different couriers, both in foreign languages. I logged a formal complaint a week ago and have had no response from Sonos who told me to email them at support@sonos.com.  In fact I’ve sent 13 emails to support@sonos.com and have had zero response; I’ve called Sonos many times and have been told that the emails have been recieved, but nobody replies.  The case was escalated (again) yesterday but still no contact from Sonos.  How can I contact Sonos to complain, which doesn’t involve support@sonos.com as it will be

(YouTube music is linked in Google assistant and Sonos S2) My google mini has no problem with either command. My google Sonos speakers respond as above. My google best hub which has my Sonos speakers set as it's default audio device responds as above.. so it's the playing on Sonos part that fails.  Anyone have a solution ?       

Please give us the ability to schedule when night mode should be on and off. It’s very easy to forget turning it off the day after use. I had it on a few weeks by mistake before realizing it and people were unimpressed by the sound of my Beam.

Hi! About year I cann't start playing Tidal by Google Assistant. I have One gen 1. S2. From Sonos App and Tidal App I can start playing without problems. TuneIn and YouTube music starts through GA correctly.Dialogue:- Hey, Google, play music on Tidal".- Ok. Playing music on Tidal. Sonos is not available at the moment.What i am doing wrong?

I am using Sonos S2 and occasionally I look at what track is playing, and what is coming out of the speakers is a totally different song to what I am hearing.  If I ask Alexa what is playing, she says the same as the Sonos app.  Example: diagnostic 2015095204Sonos said it was the Arctic Monkeys playing, but actually it was Mixed Emotions by Abra Cadabra.

I’ve had Sonos Play:5 (Gen 2) for a few months now and it worked perfectly via Spotify Connect. A couple of days ago I purchased a second Play:5 to create a stereo pair and since then I am unable to play via the Spotify app?I’ve deleted and reconnected Spotify, reset my router etc and it still won’t connect - any ideas?

I have large playlists of tracks stored on a NAS. While SONOS is playing my imported playlists well, I am not able to resume playing after I have selected another source and SONOS restarts playing the list from the beginning. I have noticed that this is a feature many of other owners would welcome. However, all related posts have been closed for comments. Hopefully this is a sign that the SONOS engineers have got the message and very soon will satisfy its customers by offering a sustainable solution. I keep my fingers crossed. 

Apple will not connect. - 2 play 5 Gen 2 set up as stereo pair (R&L) NOT working - Reset internet - uninstalled and re installed the app - switched everything off and on again.  Made sure the settings were correct in privacy local network. Worked for a bit then back to square one. No its not the internet connection - In mean time can watch Netflix in several rooms,  kids on devices lap top on at same time all working and yes I did turn off everything else while trying to get Sonos to work. This has happened several times over the years (I has 2 play 5 gen 1 units prior) - its wearing real thin now at this stage. Perhaps its time to replace entire system for a Bluetooth direct unit as this issue does not seem to be getting resolved. HOw much time is a person required to dedicate to trying to get a system working when they should be enjoying the R&R. 

Since a few weeks I can't add songs to the queue anymore in the SONOS S2 app. This is the case on my phone. This was the best function of SONOS. What happened?

Hi,   i have replaced my SONOS play:1 with a SONOS One to get acces to Google Assistant commands. After a succesful setup and adding my Google Assistant in the SONOS app and adding my Google Play Music premium account I though I was set. But apparantly there are major issues: The ‘OK Google’ Command works. After that, 95% of the commands stop working. The microphone just blinks ad thats it. I found a topic about that where a SONOS employee answered that it would be fixed and in a timely matter. This a thread of 4 months (!!!) ago. Is there ANY update on this (No Alexa or another speaker is not a option for me). How is this still an issue? I just bought an Arc with the One SLs to make a 5.1 channel system. I have a Klipsch sub from an old system. Can the Connect be used to pair up to the Arc? Is that possible? I couldn’t find anything online around that. I don’t want to drop $600 plus on the Amp. I might as well just buy the Sonos sub. specifically for that price. Any insight is appreciated! 

Sonos AMP seems to be working great but I want to ensure my settings are optimized. Here they are, please confirm or suggest settings. I’m using Paradigm Studio 20 V2 Bookshelf speakers Audio system prioritization is onA/V sync is set to autoEARC is set to offDigital audio out set to auto 1 output compressed audio with change vs PCMDigital audio out volume is set to maxDolby Digital plus output is set to Dolby digitalPassthrough mode is set to autoare these the correct/optimized settings? thanks Robert

I have a BenQ HT2050A digital projector that will be mounted in the back of room projecting onto a wall.  I have the Sonos Arc, subwoofer, and two of 1 SL speakers.  The plan is also to run, cable box, Apple TV, and Nintendo Switch to the projector.  So how do you connect all this and use the wireless feature of Sonos?  Is that possible?  I have done some research on buying a receiver and they can be pretty pricey. Is that what I need to do or is there another option to make this work?  Thanks.

I currently have a playbar, 2 play1s for L and R, and 2 play1s for rear and it works well.I am moving and in my new house I plan on having a theater room with 2 rows of theater style seats.I would like to add play1s behind each row for the rear channel.Is it possible to have 4 play1s for the rear channel?Maybe 6 play1s if I decide to expand?

After a couple months of being up, a gap has developed where the speaker meets the wall mount. It used to be a tight seam but now when the the speaker is pushed back into the mount there is a gap as the the weight of the speaker seems to be bending it down. It still extends and retracts without issue but the gap is really annoying. Has anyone experienced this?

I recently became a Spotify Premium subscriber. Knowing I can play Spotify on Sonos systems, I was shocked to find that Spotify podcasts cannot be played through Sonos. Why the hell not? Why is Sonos blocking part of the Spotify content?

We have a Sonos One & Sonos SL paired as stereo controlled by a Amazon Echo Dot, this is used with Amazon Music Unlimited. I am considering cancelling my subscription to Amazon Music Unlimited and switching to Spotify. Do commands work the same on Amazon Music for instance all we had to say was Alexa Play Radio 2 and Radio 2 started, or Alexa play Fleetwood mac and on came Fleetwood Mac. Ive been told its not as easy with Spotify, and different commands are used. This would be ok with me, but not with my Mrs, its taken absolutely ages to get her to use Alexa, and almost as long to get Sonos Speakers. main reason for change is the Spotify app is much better than Amazon for me. So if Spotify isn’t as easy with commands i will leave it alone, rather than cause issues with the other half

Hello! So I’ve been hunting around for awhile now to try to answer what feels like it should be a relatively simple question. I’m actually looking to potentially invest in a Sonos Arc surround set, at the same time I upgrade my TV. Currently I’m looking at getting an 85” Sony X900H (with the latest firmware upgrade supporting eARC. My question is this - if I want to continue using my AppleTV4K to stream content (specifically for Dolby Atmos), how is that possible with just the one HDMI port on the Arc? I’m aware I need to stream through eARC in order to pass an Atmos signal through, but would I not want to connect the AppleTV through eARC as well? Or pass through the Sonos Arc (which I know I cannot do?). Obviously without owning either the sound bar or the TV, it’s a bit hard to just run these tests myself. I’m wondering - would I just connect the AppleTV to one of the regular HDMI inputs on the TV, then connect an HDMI to the TV’s eARC port down to the Sonos Arc? Will that pass the A
