I have [Playbar] , [AMP and SUB].When listening to music, I only use AMP and SUB. When watching TV, I use everything. But! When I chose everything to play together in the Sonos app, it work seamless, but if I ect pause my TV for a few minutes, my playbar and AMP separate itself, and I need to choose it to play together in the Sonos app again.I want my configuration to be like I want, until I change it myself..

Hello Sonos team,I just bought to my Sonos eco-system remote controls from IKEA: - correctly setup Tradfri gateway - setup SYMFONISK Sound remote for Living room (Port device) - works perfectly - setup second SYMFONISK Sound remote for kids room (2xPlay:3) - and I found out, that it is really “sluggy” - it responds after 1-3 secs, also volume control steps are really badI also found same issue when controlling devices via iOS app “IKEA Home smart”: - when controlling new devices - Sonos Port / Sonos One - it reacts immediatelly - also volume changes (from 10% to 60%) is done in one step immediately- but when controlling old devices - Sonos Play:1 / Play:3 - it is “sluggy” - volume change (from 10% to 60%) is done in several steps and with delay after each step… every control step is really pain.Is this normal ? Do old devices miss some feature ?I am really disapointed

Hi all. My setup is pretty simple currently and I am wanting to get a bit more omph from it. currently I have an analogue amp and 2 bookshelf speakers which i love and want to ideally keep them part of the system. my setup is for my TV and a vinyl player. I already have a Sonos one which I airplay to and use for Alexa. What I am wanting is to get a second Sonos One and combine that with the other one that I already have and make them rear speakers and my bookshelves be the fronts. my question here is, what would I need to have 2 Sonos Ones and my bookshelf speakers all be part of the system whether I am listening to music or watching TV? Me second question is, will i lose out on anything if I add an Arc or Beam in the future? Will I be restricted to 2 channel if I have analogue inputs, etc?

Are there any possibility to connect Bang Olufsen Wireless (WISA) speakers to my existing SONOS system? I have 4 AMP:s, 2 One. i relly love the B&O speakers and still want to use SONOS

HelloI have just had a very frustrating chat with Sonos support. I have noticed recently that on Bluetooth my Sonos Move is no longer showing battery % (with wifi disconnected etc.) - the battery meter shows but it is blank. Raised this with support who are telling me that this is not a feature and there is no way to look at battery life from bluetooth. I’ve spent 15 minutes trying to convince them that I have used the feature before only to be told that they would be happy to help me connect it to WiFi, see the battery life and then disconnect it again…..Am I going mad? Has the feature been removed?

Hello, I have the Sonos Arc, 2 Sonos One SL and the Sonos Sub in my living. If I am listening to any radio streaming service, after awhile, it sounds very echoy and it will not go away. Is there a solution for this? My speakers are all up to date on software but the issue keeps happening.

Hi,Every now and then I do a load of work outside in the garden. The garden has good wifi signal and I'd like to play some music through the Sonos app.I know I could get the connect:amp and a decent set of our door speakers, but I'm working so I frequently that it doesn't justify the cost.Does anyone know if there's some way I could plug a 3.5mm wireless transmitter into my play:5 gen aux and play it through some wireless speakers like that? I've got power outside for the speakers. Thanks

I currently have a Sonos 5.1 setup and love it...but I’m running into Lip Sync Issues with a few connections. I also have a PlayBar as the main unit feeding everything else, so there’s no AirPlay 2 compatibility. Are there any good Sonos competitors from a “wireless setup” perspective that rivals the Sonos? Sonos obviously fails with the top output being Dolby Digital 5.1, so I’m looking to see what else may be available for Atmos and DTS:X.Is there a way to achieve this without a receiver? Or is it best to use a receiver? And input or feedback would be appreciated as I’m seriously considering upgrading my Sonos system.

Hello,I bought a Pro-Ject T1 BT that I connected with RCA → Jack cable to my Sonos Play:5 (connected in stereo).I use the “Line” Output from Project T1 turnable.everything is getting well, but the “power” of the sound is quite low. I need to tune between 75 and 100% of the max volume to hear something acceptable.Do I did something wrong ? (As it is a T1 BT, no switch between preamp or not because there are 2 x 2 output : “Line” or “Phono”)Many thanks in advance for your help and advises :)KRNicolas

Hi I changed WiFi router and since then have not been able to use my Sonos one. I ended up resetting to factory settings and it found it, chimed that it was connected. However, it says it needs an update but every time comes back with error 30 or error 1013.  I have deleted apps restarted everything and managed to connect my sonos play but the one just shows the error.  Any suggestions  thanks Laura

I’m in a perpetual error code 30 with one of two ‘one’ speakers.they have been in storage and on setting them up one updated fine and the other is stuck on updating and then fails right at the end with error code 30 so far I have unplugged the other functioning speaker and tried to set up hard wired to the router and it says up to date and then tries to update again and fails showing version 11.1  just can’t seem to get round this! Any ideas?

I just got my Sonos ARC and have an existing pair of in ceiling speakers behind my couch powered by a Sonos AMP that I intended to pair with the ARC for surround sound.  When I set up the ARC with HDMI ARC input I used the app to set up surrounds with my Sonos AMP and it pairs the two together but then the amp won't play any sound for either TV or Music through the rear speakers, the Sonos ARC plays just fine. Am I doing something wrong?  Everything is hardwired to a network switch connected to my router.

Hi. I have a playbase and 2x Sonos Ones (surrounds) connected to my TV and I am very happy. I am keen on exploring vinyl and I am looking at a Lenco L-85 which is quite cheap at £115 which also contains a pre amp. What I am wondering is can I use my Sonos Ones as a stereo pair using a Sonos connect without disconnecting from my tv setup.

Hi everyone,Just bought a Move. When I want to add my music libraries to the Sonos app, I get an error message saying ‘Sonos was unable to add the music folder.  Reason:  the computer xxxx (my computer name) cannot be found.I found almost 10 articles on the web about this, no solutions.I use BitDefender for my firewall, and have checked that all ports are open for sonos.Any help much appreciated.Bennie

Hey guys i have a sonos zp100 that I found in my attic i tried to factory reset it when I went to the setup it said error 11 (which means the software is too old to update) and it said to call sonos but I'm in the Philippines there is no sonos here please help what should I do?

I have been a Sonos user for many years.Today BBC Radio 4 is “Nor supported” I have tried selecting from:-Sonos Radio - which I have used of late, and former channelsRadioplayer; andTuneInI have tired selecting from 2 different Android devices, where I have checked that the app is updated and from my Windows 10 PC - without success.URGENT hel please. NJSS

I have had a couple PlayBase’s both purchased from Crutchfield, I have owned for a little over 2 years now and one of them started getting quieter and quieter.  When you try to make up for that sound dropping off it shuts off completely, no lights, no touch panel, drops out of the app completely.  The only way to get it to come back is to unplug it, wait a little bit, then plug it back in. It doesn’t appear to be an update as far as I can tell as the other PlayBase is functioning for the time being and most likely not a fuse because of it coming back after plugging it back in.Sadly out of 16 Sonos devices, this one appears to be dying. Guessing a power board’s capacitor or capacitors.  Any suggestions out there?  Thanks!

I live an three-room flat, with two rooms towards the street where I spend most of my daytime, and kitchen and bedroom are towards the yard of the house. This is an old brick house from early 1900s and the walls in the middle of the the flat are thick. In my study I have two Play:3, a Port and a Sub, and the latter is connected to my WiFi router. In my living room, I have two Sonos Five. (So this is an S2 network.) I used to have my to Play:1s in the bedroom, but this has not been working very well. Not really surprising given the distance to the rest of the devices. (It’s the same for the phone. I does not get my regular WiFi in that room.)Right now I have moved the Play:1s to the kitchen which is directly from the opening in that thick wall and closer to the study. As I test, I tried the Port in the bedroom and that seemed to worked. The idea is that the to Play:1s can help to route the signal to whatever is in the bedroom. One idea is to get a Move to have in the bedroom or in the kit

It says ARC shipping March 26 on the buy now, when will I actually receive it?I'm ready to order it but realistically when would I actually receive it!I'm also ordering the SW Gen 3 and pair of Sonos 1 SL’sthanks

This started happening about a year ago.  I have a Sonos One wired to my router, and a Playbar and two more Sonos Ones (in separate rooms) connected on the SonosNet network.  Everything works fine, until the router reboots due to a power outage or other reason.  When the SonosNet network comes back up only the wired Sonos One and the Playbar are recognized.  I have to unplug and plug back in the other two Sonos Ones for them to be recognized again.Any ideas on what might be causing this?  I’ve tried changing the wireless channel, resetting the speakers and swapping out the wired Sonos One.  No luck with any of it.  Thanks in advance.

Hi there, In the past few month, Comcast warned me of that i was reaching my maximum internet quota (1.3T). As we are 5 users all day on Webex/Zoom… I thought it was ok, until my friends who are in similar family setup told me that they used less than half of this traffic. As i logged on my WIFI i found out that Sonos was the generating humongous traffic compared to other devices (x300 vs the 2nd active user). While we use our Sonos system quite a lot, it seems very weird that it jams my Internet connection like this.  Any clue ?  ThanksStan

One of our amps has just started blaring out rap music (that none of us would listen to) incredibly loudly in the middle of the night at a volume we would never use.  Any help?

New setup: I have a Playbar, Sub (Gen2), two Ones and two connect:amps. They have all been factory reset.  All of these are compatible with the S1 app per the Sonos webpage.  I have the Playbar directly connected to the router, nothing else is connected.  My phone is on wifi running the S1 app.  I run the setup process and the S1 app sees the Playbar after I press the two buttons and hear the chime.  Once the progress bar stops though I’m being told that the Playbar is not compatible with the S1 app and I need to use the S2 app.  (error message below)Did something change on the S1 app to prevent these previously accepted devices from being added?  I’m confused as to why I’m getting this message.
