Hi there im using a note 20 and im trying to cast YouTube videos from my phone to my sonos 1. Unfortunately I cannot do that only thing that works for now is spotify. I would like to watch Netflix and YouTube on my phone and listen to it on my Sonos is that possible ? Please help me out

Yesterday (2nd Dec’20) l purchased & downloaded 13 songs from iTunes store. They came from different albums but l grouped them together on iTunes to make an album. I have done this several times previously without issue. However this time there is a problem. After Sonos updated the library only 4 of the 13 songs have appeared. They are all correctly located in the same folder on my NAS, all the data matches that should. I have removed them all from the NAS, updated the library so removed them, added back onto the NAS but still only the 4 appear.Ideas anyone? Cheers

My line-in connection on my Play 5 is not working. I’ve tried everything from making sure cables are secure, different sources, different levels, etc and still no sound at all from the line-in connection.

For the past year or so, I have been using the symphonysk to act as a bridge allowing me to “Airplay” from apple tv to my sonos connect (series 1, not airplay 2 compatible) - This has worked great, until recently. I don’t know if it was the latest apple tv update or latest Sonos update, but now the symphonysk does not show up as an audio output option on the apple tv. What to do? I tried resetting the apple tv to its factory settings, but still no luck, so I’m guessing it’s on the sonos side. Any help would be appreciated

Any idea? We’ve been deafened! Have managed to at least limit volume in the room so we won’t lose our hearing but need to be able to control volume. Any ideas very welcome

This app has worked fine but now it won’t connect to wifi. All other devices in the house are working fine. I've already tried rebooting the modem and router. my diagnostics number is 1907488341.  Thank you for your help!

Hi all, help please! I have a Play Bar, Sub, and 2 x Ones (Gen 2). My play bar and sub are connected to my Samsung QLED. My ones were connected via wifi. Happy days. I could also use Amazon Music and Alexa with it.  Now, I have a new router; a 3 Broadband Router (Huawie)  much faster than Sky. A breeze I thought to reconnect everything as it was. Well, it hasn’t gone according to plan! Only the play bar is working (I suspect only because it’s p,ugh Ed directly into the TV)  I cannot get the sub nor the ones to connect to the new router even with the Ethernet cable. Clearly I’m doing something wrong but I’ve followed the advice to the letter and still nothing. Any advice please?

I have two play 1 speakers, first gen. I recently installed a boost to my system as one was continuously dropping out. I have connect one with an ethernet directly to the boost in the hope it will sure things up even more and they’re in a stereo pair but one refuses to move onto the boost network and is still showing WM:1 instead of VM:0 like the boost and the speaker wired to it. Has anyone got any suggestions?

I upgraded to Sonos2 This made the link to my iMac music library redundant.I’m trying to reconnect it I have discovered there isn’t a Sonos App anymore for the iMac so I’m lost I’m running High Sierra 10.13.6 and can’t update software unless I buy a new iMac which isn’t an option.any help ... please   

Hi folks, I’ve recently purchased  a pair of Sonos Five (white) speakers, and I need to mount one to a wall. I’ve been searching the internet, and struggling to find brackets to hold them vertically. I’m based in the UK, so looking for a UK based retailer. Has anyone got any pointers on where to try?Thanking you in advance 

Hi i’ve just connected my Move to google assistant. When i ask google to play something it accepts the command and repeats it back (like ‘ok playing XXXX from spotify’) but then it says something like ‘can’t play because sonos and assistant are not linked to same spotify account’). So then i have reset all my spotify accounts so that sonos and google assistant link to the same spotify account, but it still gives same error message. I fully de-authorised them and re-authorised spotify, removed and re-added google assistant, and tried again - but still same error message. Any ideas?

Looking at my network matrix to check out some connection issues (again!) I noticed that one of my devices had no entries at all in the network matrix and when i check the “/usr/sbin/brctl/showstp br0” link it said “STP is disabled for this device”. Presumably this means that this device is not using STP to connect to any other SONOS devices in my system? I have a wired setup, with 5 secondary (hard wired) nodes and 10 tertiary nodes in a 15 node setup. I have only recently noticed the “STP is disabled ...” text.  Does this indicate a problem with the device?  Any ideas how I could check/rectify?  I’ve obviously tried the reset option.  Any advice appreciated!  Thanks A.

Playing songs on my computer continues to be a really weak spot with SONOS. The issue is compounded in that later -- like today, the next day -- as soon as I open SONOS on my Samsung it starts a string of “I can’t play that” that goes on and on, literally blocking my use of the phone. I wasn’t even going to play songs off the computer when I started this morning! the best I can tell it’s never the same songs .. it’s just like random. 

Hi , i am selling 80% of my sonos system and buying up grades. Do i need to factory reset each speaker before i sell ?  and more importantly, how do it do for each product? I presume the procedure is the same for all products?I’m selling play1’s , playbar, play5 gen1’smany thanks, Chris. 

music sevices keep going away in IOS app. when i start the app. all my sources are missing except the default ones ( library, sonos radio, and tunein), if i go into settings and add one of the missing servies back, then they will all re-appear. this happens almost every time. Also any songs or podcasts in the queue from any of the missing services won’t be available until I do this 

Hello,  I recently chose to upgrade a product with Sonos Upgrade Program (https://www.sonos.com/myaccount/user/offers/upgrade/. However, now I don’t intend to upgrade and want to sell the Playbar to someone else.  Is there an issue with the fact that is marked as ‘Upgraded’ if I remove it from my account and give it to someone else?  Is there a way to ‘undo’ the upgrade?  Thanks.

HiI have a blaupunkt TV and I have synced my remote with my Beam but I dont know how to disable my TV speakers? 

I see a few reviews are out now and a few customers even have their new Sonos Arcs. I know people are constantly asking about specific TVs and Atmos compatibility and I hate to add to the pile but has there been any word of Atmos support on recent Sony TVs that only have arc and not eArc?   I have a Sony A8F OLED and I’m hoping Apple TV 4K will pass atmos through   thanks for any help

Hey guys,I purchased the Sonos Beam because it had rave reviews.Little did I know how much of a nightmare it would be to actually get to try and do the most basic of stuff my 10 year old bluetooth speaker can nail.Seriously, why I can't I wirelessly connect the Sonos Beam and my Apple TV? I have a projector which is remote from the speaker, and thus is plugged in with Apple TV, so I can't actually plug the HDMI KEK or whatever it is into the Projector for sound.How did this pass design with everyone not realising what a complete * up this was?Would love any advice, otherwise it's going in the skip. My problem already detected and existing and never disappeared since 2018, then due to transfer from Italy to Gemania I did not finish the assistance path, (now I made a move and I brought it here. The playbar emits a whistle, high-pitched hiss, like fax noise, tried again at factory settings reset, with and without optical cable connected to the TV, add and removed other speaker from system updated firmware, tried with other power cable, off and disconnected nearby devices, disabled wifi , tried network cable, etc., as soon as I feed the playbar, the whistling whistle starts, tried other electrical outlets but the annoyance is always there, I don't want to make other attempts to exclusion and waste more time, in the case of procedures that already have previous solved the problem then I can give it a try. since the problem is known and had by many other people I ask to send my playbar directly to service, and also an estimate before shipping of the repair costs based on the cases alre

Hi all, I have a current system set up with 2x One, sub and a playbase, I have just purchased a pair of Five G2’s and want to set them up as front speakers in the surround sound setup, is this possible? I tried adding them to the current tv setup I have but it set them up as a stereo pair. Now when I play them with the TV I get the vocal coming out too and it doesn’t sound good, sounds a bit echoey. Is there a better way I can set them up to get the best surround sound experience? many thanks N

I just bought a Beam today and was amazed at the lack of instruction with the equipment, other than download the app and select ‘set up new system’.I downloaded the app to my android Samsung version 6.0.1.On opening the app, the only option is to ‘add to existing system’ - but I don’t have any other Sonos items.How do I find the ‘set up a new system’ tab? 

I appear to have a slight humming noise coming from my new Gen 3 Sub. It is most noticeable when the sub is awake, but I have noticed that there is a much quieter hum when the sub is asleep. There is also a very slight ?crackle? noise with the hum.The hum is present when audio is playing, paused, or muted. The sub is paired with an Arc.The hum doesn’t get louder when I turn up the volume slider.Here is an example, recorded on an iPhone with the microphone placed about 1cm away from the hole on the Sub. I’ve seen a few older topic’s saying Sonos is currently not doing anything. But perhaps over time things do change. I was curious if there are any plans that somebody from Sonos or in the community knows of to have native integration between Sonos and Philips Hue lights?I currently see there are third party apps who offer it, but am a bit hesitant to allow third party apps access to something like this. With Philips Hue and Sonos popularity it would be great if both could do something like this. And make me feel more at ease if it came from the actual producers of the hardware then a third party.
