Hi, I would like report a bug with the way that Sonos devices handle HTTP Live Streaming URLs. I oversee the streaming for this radio station URL:https://stream.jpbgdigital.com/CJZN.m3u8 It includes 4 audio segments in the playlist, and uses this header to indicate that stream playback should begin from the very first segment:#EXT-X-START:TIME-OFFSET=0 However we’re hearing from listeners that Sonos devices are consistently starting the stream from the 2nd segment in the list and missing the first few seconds of audio. I’ve also been able to reproduce this on my Sonos One. There is more information on this header within the HLS RFC spec here:https://tools.ietf.org/html/rfc8216#page-36 I’m happy to do any testing to help facilitate a fix here. Thanks,Andrew

I updated to the S2 app on mobile and laptop and now I can’t play anything that isn’t streaming through Spotify. And the only reason I can do that is bc I do it through Spotify Connect NOT the S2 app. What are my options here? There’s absolutely nothing wrong on my end, I’ve already tried the general troubleshooting steps and the fact that the Sonos player works through a non-Sonos application indicates the app is the problem.

So, I’ve ripped out my very dated entertainment center builtin and and rebuilding it.  I’m strongly considering an Arc/Sub/Surrounds solution for cleanliness, and frankly, the cost is appealing.  However, I have an 18ft steeply angled ceiling.  Can Trueplay compensate for this?  My other option is to stick with an AVR receiver and install pendant speakers so I can normalize the height of left and right. Anyone using an Arc with angled ceilings?

I have a LG CX and what to mount it to my wall.  But I have a lot of questions?  I am using this mount fo LG https://www.vogels.com/en-us/c/thin-505-extrathin-fixed-tv-wall-mountI have read this:When wall-mounting, it is recommended to have a clearance of at least 5.5 inches between the TV and Arc. As per important safety information one of the lists states; Do not block any ventilation openings. Leave a recommended space of 4“ (10cm) around the unit. How high should I mount my LG to the wall? How high should I mount my arc? Which mount for ARC?  Should I get the mount that can extend 2 inches?  https://www.sanus.com/en_US/products/mounts/wssatm1/ or get the flat mount?  I want the arc to be as closed to wall as possible. Do I need a mount that has magnet? Once I get my TV Mounted, I should mount arc 4inch or 5.5 inch below TV?   it is recommended to have a clearance of at least 5.5 inches.  Any hints or suggestion would be great.Thank you!

Hi AllI Have a Sony Bravia and Sonos Home speaker setup.I have my own music that i like and listen to and have no particular interest in other types of music. So i don't want to pay Deezer Spotify Amazon etc etc for the privilege of listening to the music i already own….!I was using Google Play and this was working great then we were all forced in to YTM and now the Bravia does not show any of my playlists albums artists let alone plat anything so you can imagine how unimpressed i am !!There are no other apps that support upload of music (iBroadcast being the one exception but that does not have an Android compatible App at the mo..)So i'm thinking of setting up a very small NAS box (only need a single disk) The Music app on the Bravia detects the Beam and looks for a music library on its IP address (of which i dont have one right now) Can anyone recommend something that works is compact, small (1-2 drive bays) and relatively inexpensive !!Does this plug directly in to the back of the B

Sometimes, I like to use Logitech Media Server (LMS) in addition to the Sonos app to control my Sonos devices. I have Sonos Move and a Sonos Play 5 (2nd edition). I installed a plugin in LMS called “UPNP/DLNA bridge”, so I can use desktop LMS and an app on my iPhone called Ipeng to control non-Squeezebox devices, including my 2 Sonos devices. After installing the bridge plugin, I was able to initially see both my Sonos Move and my Sonos Play 5.However, after about an hour, the Sonos Move disappeared from the list of available devices in LMS. What’s strange is that I can still view Sonos Play 5 and my Samsung TV (in addition to my Squeezebox Boom and Squeezebox Radio) in LMS.When I open the list of plugins, under the list of "Players currently in the configuration file", the Sonos Move still is listed. I've tried hitting the "restart" button next to "Start the Bridge" but didn't work. I also tried rebooting the Sonos Move too. I can view both Sonos devices in my Sonos app, but again, I c

Hi community, I have a Sonos play 5 2nd gen and a Sonos play 1. I changed my wifi provider and password and now it won’t connect unless connected to the router with Ethernet. Has anyone found the solution to this as I see it’s a common problem, if not, can someone sent me the European number to contact Sonos? thanks.

I have a wonderful pair of Play 5 gen 2’s with the Sub…...I would like to add “one” Play 5 for a rear chanel ambient effect, but obviously,it would have to be the Gen 3….Is this doable? Thanks

Hi, I’m testing out Apple Music, and have noticed that the only songs that show up are those in my library (instead of the all the songs on the service). Is this expected behavior? With YouTube Music, for example, I can search for and play any song in their catalog.  Clicking into “My Library” for Apple Music shows more results, but none that match the song. I was able to open the Apple Music app and find the song in their catalog, so they do have it available for streaming. I submitted a diagnostic report: 988653685 Here’s a sample screenshot of the search results:

My Symfonisk speaker was working fine until a few months ago. Then it started to not being visible from the app (or being seen over AirPlay2). Only after force killing and restarting the app a few times the unit would wake up and become visible. Now this is not happening anymore, so I decided to reset and reconfigure the unit. The app finds the unit and seems to start configuration (sound is playing) but after a while it says that it lost connection, to power down and then on again the Symfonisk unit. Went through the process many times but always same results. Things already tried based on other posts found in the community: moved speaker closer to the router connected speaker to router via ethernet cable deleted and reinstalled app on my iPhoneDoes anyone have an idea of how to solve this problem?

I just got a new network set up in my house and after spending 90 minutes on the phone with Sonos customer support, I learned that using the Sonos2 app, I can no longer connect my Samsung “Frame” tv to my Sonos Sound bar using the optical cable.  Apparently, the new Sonos2 app requires HDMI.  FOr those that don;t know what the Frame is, it’s a TV that looks like a picture frame on the wall.  There is a very thin almost invisible optical cable that runs from the bottom of this picture “Frame” to the box.  I am not going to plug in a ugly thick HDMI cable to the back of the TV. Sonos needs to fix this ASAP!  I had no problems with Sonos1.  At least bring back Sonos1 so I can get my TV hooked up to quality sound.

Hello all, is there any way to confirm a ZP90 is still functional (and not been used for Upgrade and bricked) before purchase?.

Hey guys, I was hoping to get some help/clarification of what’s going on.  setup:lg C9-Sonos Arc+sub(gen2)+LS+RS(both are one SL)As you all are aware my arc is connected directly to my TV and is connected vi Ethernet to my router. When I turn off the wifi on the arc my system goes haywire-surrounds don’t work and sub shuts off. When I turn it back on everything is fine. I have read another post and heard that wifi does need to be on even though the arc is Ethernet direct. I’m on my phone and wish I could copied it before typing this.  now, on that forum I saw they were mentioning “WM:#” when I go into about my system all my devices show WM:0. With my arc directly connected I figured it would show a #1. If anyone can help give some clarification of what’s going that would be great.   edit: this is link to discussion of the forum I mentioned-

I have 4 Connect:AMPs and 1 Connect (Gen2). Two of the Connect AMPs have Line-In connections from TVs - Kitchen and Bedroom. The set up was done two years ago, and has been working well until recently. Now, if I select Line-In on the app, it indicates active audio (wavy thing), however there’s no sound from the speakers. I tried both the line-ins separately on the respective rooms’ Connect AMPs and also on Connect AMPs in other rooms - no use. However, all play streaming music (from local PC) and internet radio stations well. Only problem is with Line-In on both the AMPs. Any help would be greatly appreciated.  (submitted diagnostics - 44375962).

I have two Sonos 1 speakers and one says it is “hidden.” I’ve completed the steps in the previous community thread and it still won’t come out of hiding.

Well, about a year ago, I used a Sonos Speaker (don’t remember which one, I remember it was white and kinda round but also tall). I used it because it was set up in a lodge I rented for a few days to go skiing. So, I set up an account and linked my Spotify to it. Well, yesterday, someone, who probably rented the same lodge as I did, connected to the Sonos speaker, and my Spotify account started playing random songs on my phone. There is absolutely no way I can get to that speaker to reset it since it’s in the lodge. I tried to go unlink devices in the Sonos App, but all of the Settings are greyed out, is there anything I can do, because I don’t want to create a new Spotify account because of this. Thanks

Hi all, Wonder if you can give me some advice please. I'm thinking of buying a turntable to play all of my old vinyl and I want it to work with my current Sonos setup. Everything that I've read suggests that it needs to be a cable connection between the turntable and speaker. Provided I buy a WiFi enabled turntable, can I connect via WiFi to the speaker? Many thanks 😀

When I ask any of my Google Assistant activated Sonos Ones to play a song from my connected default Music Service, Spotify, Google responds “I can’t do that here but you can ask me to do that on one of your other devices.”

Both myself and my boyfriend are experiencing this issue. We have been for months and it has not fixed itself. We recently went to stay with my parents and tried connecting to their sonos system. It would not let us because it kept trying to sign us into my dad’s account. Now we have returned to our flat and are trying to use our own system, it will not let us in and keeps trying to sign me into my brothers account. The app is not helpful at all as we cannot click on anything (not even a ‘change user’ option) without first signing into his account. My brother has never lived here and did not set up our account so this is really frustrating and seems like a poor design. Can anyone please help and tell us how to get back into our own system? Thanks

Just a heads up, I am already annoyed/extremely frustrated with this product so please don’t hit me with any canned responses or weak-sauce answers! I purchased the Sonos play 5 (I think it’s a gen 2) a while back and attempted to connect it to my existing sonos beam and other sonos speaker (can’t remember if it’s a play 1 or play 3) and my sonos bridge, I am told that my Play 5 is incompatible with my existing products:I have tired both the G1 and the G2 app.I tired ethernet direct connection.I tried a line in connnection directly to my PCI have even tried a line in connection from one speaker (which still functions) to my Play 5Nothing is working. I would honestly like to know how can you sell a product for $500 when it is functionally broken straight out of the box??Please help me with either direct answers and help, your phone lines are closed on the weekend!

Anyone else having problems connecting directly through airplay now. I was ok until last week. But now I only be able to play through the Sonos app rather than through music - airplay on my phone?
