I currently have a Sonos Playbase and a Sonos Sub. They were both connected to my Wifi in the past however there was one day when they were just disconnected from the Wifi.The Playbase is now connected to the router through Ethernet cable while the Sub is unable to be connected. When I try taking out the Ethernet cable, my Sonos app is unable to find either the Playbase or the Sub. With the Ethernet cable connected to the Playbase, I am unable to connect it to the Wifi as the error "Incorrect Password" keeps showing up. To note:1. I am definitely keying in the correct password.2. My router 802.11 mode is mixed 802.11a/n/ac.My wifi should be compatible with the Sonos products. I would like to enquire what I am able to do to reconnect both my Playbase and Sub to my wifi. As of now my Sub is unable to be used while my Playbase can only be used with an ethernet cable as I do not have sufficient ports on my router. I have already tried factory resetting both my products yet the issue still

Hi All,Wondering everyone’s thoughts on keeping a Sonos Move in our detached and uninsulated garage. We live in an area where temperatures can stay below freezing for weeks at a time and can get to single digits Fahrenheit (-13 C) or colder. My question is, what damage could be done to the battery or the Move itself if we keep the Move in the garage at those temperatures? Also I see the specs state that charging occurs from 0 C and above. What happens if I leave the Move plugged in and the temperature is below 0 C? Would it do any damage to the battery or it would just not charge? Thanks!

I read recently that Sonos updated the firmware to allow a 2nd sub to be added to a HT setup with compatible soundbar and at least one if the subs being a Gen 3.  I already have two subs, and thinking about adding a third to the household collection -  but can’t test the 5.2 config as both current subs are Gen 2s.  main reason for asking is that the answer would decide whether I choose a white or a black Sub to add. IF the 2nd sub config adds a lot of benefit I’d prefer to colour match it to the existing 5.1 system. But if it is only marginal then I’ll match it to the ‘other room’ and ‘loan’ it to the HT for occasional use.  EDIT: i should add that the room is approx 6.5m by 3.5m and rears are Play 5 Gen 2.  thanks.  

I have the Sonos Arc plugged into the HDMI(ARC) port on the tv, Simple-CEC enabled and ARC is working, no trouble reported in the S2 app.After I ran the TruePlay setup I started Disney+ and tried some Marvel movies. They show up in the HD report as Atmos movies, but the summary cards only show DolbyVision and 5.1 - no Atmos anywhere.I then found that I could add Disney + to the Apple TV app, did that, and then the movies show up as Atmos in that. I started up a couple of movies and I still get 5.1 sound.I’m about to order a new TV, but before I do that I read a few threads here on the forum and found that lots of people are having trouble with aTV4k. What should I do to check things out prior to spending even more money on this sound debacle?

I have Arc + Sub + Rear One Surrounds for home theater paired with an LG CX. I also have a separate 2.0 system dedicated for serious music listening sessions located in the same space.I was wondering if I can get the Amp and a speaker selector switch (to switch my bookshelves between Sonos Amp and 2.0 system) but also have the Sonos Amp integrated into my theater setup so my bookshelves act as FR and FL channels when watching TV/movies? If the Amp can’t be fully integrated with Arc + Sub + One via Sonos app, what if I got an HDMI splitter to split/mirror the eArc connection from LG CX, and connect it to both the Arc and Amp? If this will work on the Sonos side, it’ll be dependent on finding an HDMI splitter that supports eARC.I would use the speaker switch to quickly toggle my bookshelves back to my 2.0 system for music listening sessions.  

Hi Guys I have just purchased a Sonos beam and have connected it to my Sony Bravia OLED TV.I bought it to compliment the speakers the TV comes with (which are pretty good) but the problem is that as soom as the Sonos system is switched on/connected, the TV speakers stop working. I cannot get them both to work at the same time.  I have connected the system to the HDMI Arc socket as instructed.  Any thoughts guys?

It was working fine but disconnected somehow. Now I can’t get it to connect to the tv anymore. I can play music through WiFi but it won’t recognize the tv anymore. I’ve tried unplugging and restarting and redoing the setup process through S2 app. 

one sl sonos regularly disconnect from surround.  composition: beam, sub and two one sl. When it is happening i have to restart all  one sl and reconnect them. it also very difficult to connect the one sl to the beam. It takes a lot of time. i buy them 2 weeks ago and surround was working two days. I see this is a problem that has been around for a long time.my mobile is an iPhone 12 pro max and the router is a Netgear Orbi RbK 23  when can we hope a solution ?    

A small niggle, but I wanted to check I had registered my new Sonos One and looked on the website.  The website shows my old system, a play one setup that I have now sold and replaced.    However, the app on my phone is correct - shows the new system.I cant see how to change the info on the website.  I would like it to be correct, just in case I have any warranty issues. What am I doing wrong? Many Thanks

Hi. I have an integrated CD/Tuner/Amp. I want to play my CDs from this unit to my sonos speakers in other part of my home. I have a Connect. The hifi has outputs for speakers and two AUX inputs (one phono and one jack).I have tried connecting the CONNECT from both its line in and line out phono sockets to the AUX on the HIfi unit without any result.What am I not doing correctly?

I'm unable to add music folders from my NAS (MyCloudEX2Ultra) to my Sonos music library. I get a pop-up error message that incudes a link to Error 900. It suggests the issue is to do with the IRPStackSize. I've followed the instructions at https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/106167/error-message-not-enough-server-storage-is-available-to-process-this-c and added the necessary entry to the registry with a stack size of 0x12 - gradually increasing it to that from the default value of 0x4. But I still get the same error message. (NB: the registry editor only gave me the option to add DWORD (32 bit value) whereas my system is 64bit Windows 10)I'm not sure if this is a Sonos issue or MyCloudEX2Ultra. A couple of days ago I updated the operating system on the NAS from OS3 to OS5. Until then the Sonos was working fine with the networked shares in place.  They then ceased working. I just installed my Sonos One SL for my kitchen and the sound quality is extremely poor. It is very tinny and sounds like the speaker is using less than 5% of its total capacity. I have a One SL and a Beam in my living room and the sound is excellent. This is incomparable and clearly broken or faulty. I have tried returning to factory setting and reinstalling software but no luck. Wondering if the speaker simply arrived faulty ? Any suggestions ?

I have an LG OLED non-eARC TV. My main content source is Apple TV 4K and I also have an old Sony Blu-ray.With HDFury Arcana and EZCoo 4x2 Matrix switch, I have at last (I think!) sorted out the ATV and DVD sources including Atmos from the ATV playing Netflix.Occasionally we want to watch Smart TV content (eg BBC UHD streaming)  but I can’t find a way to get the sound from it into the Sonos Arc.Has anyone solved this or got any great ideas to solve?

Hi allI am designing the speakers for our new games room and cinema room. The layout is: a rectangular shaped room (roughly 10m x 5m) one half has a pool table and bar, the other has a large 85inch flat screen being built into the wall.  I’m looking for a system that primarily is for the TV but is also great for music.  We have sonos all over the house currently  my current thinking is a combination sub, arc and something for surround...which is where my question is; do I get in ceiling speakers and if so, how many do I need? Is the arc&sub enough for the cinema area and would two in ceiling speakers work at the back around the pool area? Or do I need 4 in ceiling  + arc and sub? final thought is if it’s 4 I need, then should I get in ceiling for all 4, or 2 wall speakers either side of the TV with 2 in ceiling at the back?thanks - any tips would be welcome!

Do Sonos intend to integrate BBC Sounds with Sonos, as they have done with Spotify.I’m referring to various workarounds using Google Assistant or Alexa, not via AirPlay.I would like full integration as has been so well implemented with Spotify.

Hi All Sorry for long story but I need to explain it from beginning.I recently purchased Beam and Sub gen 3 all brand new from shop. The first problem which I had was the Sub gen 3 I could not set it up and get it work. Once I managed to get it work I could not add it to beam for surround system included with mine another Sonos ones. I did not had any problem setup the Beam or sonos ones only the Sub was kicking all the time it can not be added. Well finally somehow I managed to add the Sun gen 3 but it appears in app like question mark but it did worked and somehow next day it fixed his self and I could see sub there in app. Well today 08.12.2020 we had app update and it did fail on mine Sub well I am very confused because when I went back to the app it says there is no update needed. I never had any issues with any other sonos product like set it up or update it and I am bit worried if the sub is not faulty or at least the hardware in it. I have a Sonos Beam and two Sonos Ones, connected wirelessly through my 2nd Generation Apple Airport Express with the latest firmware installed. This setup has worked just fine until recently, when I upgraded to Sonos S2 and got a new cable modem. Now, when I launch the S2 app on iOS 14, it says that I’m “Unable to connect to Sonos” and Alexa and Spotify (the only two services I’ve connected to Sonos through the app) doesn’t work. I have enabled access to the “Local Network” under the iOS 14 Privacy settings, and I’ve also completely reset my Sonos speakers to factory settings to no avail. The only thing that seems to temporarily work, is rebooting my Airport Express router. When I do that, I can access everything just fine through the Sonos S2 app, and can use Alexa and stream Spotify with no issues. But after a variable amount of time, it just stops working. I have no clue what the issue is, but has anyone else come across this/found a fix for it?

Is there a voice command to start playing the TV audio to multiple rooms/speakers? I can get my Beam (and attached Sub) to switch its input back to TV by voice, but I want it to be playing in another room as well. I can set this up via the app, but am really going for voice control. Ideally, this would be a single command (so I can give it a shorthand as a Routine) but if it takes two, so be it.Relatedly, is there a good way to redirect what’s playing in one room/group to another/all by voice? (That would make it easy to do in two commands.)I just switched to Alexa from Google because it feels a bit better integrated with Sonos (group support, etc), but would be curious about both honestly. 

Hi All, I was happily watching my TV last night when all of sudden my Playbase turned itself off. I’ve tried to reconnect the power cable securely and have tested multiple power sockets but to no avail, the unit will just not turn back on again. Has anyone else come across this and/or know how to fix it? I’m guessing the power unit inside the unit may have failed so might have to send it off to be repaired. Any help greatly appreciated as I’m currently set up for 5.1 surround sound in my living room and without the Playbase the rest are pretty useless!Thanks.

Hi all,Having read a lot of threads on Sonos surround sound, I’m still experiencing issues, and hope for some assistance in preparing my setup for a PS5 at some point: My current setup consists of a PS4, which outputs video through HDMI to a BenQ projector.Simultaniously, the PS4 outputs sound via Optical directly to my Sonos Playbar + 2 x Play:1s for surround.Setting the PS4 to output only DD5.1 via the Optical ensures that I have perfect surround sound - all good! Now, sometime in the near future I’m looking to replace my PS4 with a PS5, which lacks the Optical out port. I have major S1 controller “Not connected”, “Your Sonos product was not found” issues.I have an existing S1 system with 2 Play 5’s (Gen1), 3 Play1’s, Beam and Boost. I was given a Move for Christmas and have spent 2 days trying to connect it to the S1 controller. I have tried every suggestion on the forums (latest software, device, handset and router reboots and resets, various IOS and Android controllers tried, moving nearer the router etc) but always end up with the “Not connected error”.The Move connects quite happily to the S2 controller.I then decided to see if the sound of a couple of Play 1’s in the room the Play 5’s are would be OK (they’re not as it’s quite a large room). Unfortunately, during this process I switched the two Play 1’s to the S2 controller (I was testing them with the Move). However, I cannot reconnect them back to the S1 controller.
