I just delivery of an Arc and my iPhone 12 pro is supposedly not compatible with true play. Is anyone else having this issue?

I have a 5k sq ft restaurant and I want to hang 8 Play 5’s from the ceiling and install one Playbar on one of the 12 tv’s. I want to be able to switch from tv audio to Spotify via my phone and the app. Is this feasible?

Hi everyone,  I hope someone can help with this annoying issue I have with my beam. I had it for less than 3 months and first 2 months, it worked perfectly fine. A monrh ago it started producing a loud buzzing noise that is only present when something is being played, could be anything from a youtube clip to a netflix movie. Same issue always. It is very disruptive and it is actually louder than the sound of the media being played so using when it makes this noise is impossible. The noise went away for two days after a firmware update but came back after 2 days. Rebooting only solves rhe problem for an hour or two then it comes back. No changes to my setup since owning it e.g. router is still 1 meter away and no new devices have beem connected. It is vert disappointing as I paid a lot of money for this thing and now it is useless in just 3 months . I hope there is a solution otherwise I might have to return it. Does any know what is wrong or how to resolve this issue?  Confirmation of

I used my Sonos one speakers no problem last week. This week my speakers won’t show up to connect to the app. I have restarted my wireless on my ipad, I have checked that the updated privacy issues is fixed, and I have restarted my router. What else can I do. The last time I had this issue it was like 6 months until the rando problem between Spotify and Sonos was corrected. I’m not a happy camper.

I am in the process of mounting my TV. I am also getting rid of my cabinet below my TV.Here is my setup:https://imgur.com/a/HveUqChIt the TV height ok? Any other suggestions?

Hello. I picked up 2 sonos play3. I know they been discontinued. Is there someone who can look at my diagnostic log and let me know why my radio station would not play? The log number is 1124229380.  My alarm is set with the “Office” play 3 as “main” device for the alarm. This SONOS device is connected via ethernet to the system. The rest of the system is connected via SONOS Net.This morning the alarm was set for 7 AM. At 7 AM I got the SONOS chimes and not my set radio station. I went to the S2 controller and tried to start the radio station and it would not start. I pulled the diagnostics at that time.I recently replaced my router, and while things were reset fine and things have been working, I am wondering if I have an underlying issue that is only now rearing its head.

I keep having issue with the app not connecting to the move or beam...internet signal is fine

Our current surround configuration is the basic bar and 2 SL Ones, but I want to integrate our Five as well. I’m interested in the buying the Move speaker and was wondering if it would pair up with the surround system along with our Five? If not, would an additional Five pair up and be a part of our surround system too?

Hello, I am trying to sign into my SONOS from the iphone + ipad and it won’t let me. Unfortunately,  It will only let me sign in through the desktop. When logging in through the phone it tells me my password is incorrect although I am typing the password in correctly. I managed to change the email as well to see if that works but when trying to log in it still gives me the old email. Need help please.

I have a Sonos Amp in one room, Sonos Play:1s setup as a stereo pair with a sub in another,  and single Sonos One SLs in different rooms.  Everything is on a single network using EERO Pros.  I use the S2 app.    When I turn on the option to “Group Non-Airplay Products”, then Airplay to either the Amp or the one of the One SLs, I am expecting the Play:1s to play whatever is streaming via Airplay.   Airplay is working to the Airplay compatible systems just fine, but nothing comes out of the Play:1s.  This is true whatever the source.  (Spotify, Podcasts, etc)   If I use the Sonos app and select the Play:1s, they work fine.  Any multi-room combination also works fine using the Sonos app so I feel like the network is working properly.  The Airplay compatible products work as expected with Airplay, just not the Play:1s  with the “Group Non-Airplay Products” switch on (or off) Maybe I am not understanding what the “Group Non-Airplay Products” switch is suppose to do.  If I am understanding i

Same question as https://en.community.sonos.com/controllers-software-228995/automatic-loudness-control-6819488 which was asked 2 years ago, can we get an official answer from Sonos whether the Loudness setting intelligently kicks in only during low volume or it has the same effect regardless of volume level?

Have a strange issue with my Sonos Move. When grouped with my Sonos Arc and Surround the audio intermittently drops out/skips. When ungrouped and playing audio via the Sonos app i.e. Spotify or Amazon etc, no such issues. I’ve factory reset the Move and re-booted my router.Any ideas what’s going on?

I have the exact same issue as described herebut from the Sveriges Radio. Very annoying when listening to a podcast as it does not remember where it was and you need to listen to find where you are. Happens about every 20-30 min. And no, I don’t have any network issues or with playing directly from the app via AirPlay

Hello everyone,I’m new to the Sonos community and love the sound from the sound bar.  The only thing is that the volume has to be at least 50 in order to hear it well.  To watch a movie and fill the room it has to be at 65/70.  This seems weird.  Is anyone else having this issue?  I have unplugged the unit.  Tried a different HDMI cord. And tried different video sources.  The thing I find interesting is that when I play only  music through the Sonos Arc (tv not on), the volume dial is only at a quarter and fills the room.  Would like to resolve this and not have to return the sound bar to Best Buy.  Please help!

Dear Support, I am facing an issue with Sonos. We have installed new WD My cloud HDD. The issue is that when we share the music from NAS with Sonos its showing an error which is “ Sonos was unable to share the Music folder. I have also follow the all steps which are enclosed in the link.

Hello all -Long time Sonos fan here, LOVE the product. Have been running mutiple devices and speakers with S1 for several years with few issues. I recently bought a 2nd gen Play:5 and 5 speakers and decided it was time to move to S2 knowing I’d need to re-setup S1 to retain control of my older devices. The upgrade went “text book” with no issues. All 4 compatible devices were found and I was excited to finally move forward to S2. However once upgraded I find that the Play:5 and 5 wont or only intermittently will stream audio service (Sonos Radio). Both speaker devices are seen in the app. Communication seems ok as the local controls on them respond in the app. The Connect: Amp seems to work reliably. I normally group these and tried ungrouping but mostly wont output any audio. The 2nd gen Play:5 was rock solid on the S1 app so I have to think the issue has to be within the S2 app. Because the devices are present in the app I don’t think the problem is connectivity-related. Hoping I can g

Hi there so I have a Sonos beam, connect amp gen 2 and two ceiling speakers. The issue I have is that the wiring for the speakers, connect amp and the WiFi router are down stairs in the utility room. The beam is up upstairs with the television.  How can I get the ceiling / amp speakers to work with the beam? Do I only need to connect the connect amp to the router? I have seen mixed comments about amp and beam needing to be connected to each other via Ethernet.is it possible to use a Ethernet Powerline adapter to make the beam think it’s connected?I do have cat 5 cabling running through the walls from the utility cupboard to where the beam is but this is already occupied as only one port in the living room.   failed to see any answers for the above so much appreciated any insights

I have 4 speakers:Google Home Mini Sonos Beam SYMFONISK SYMFONISK 1 is set to default to Sonos as its default speaker in the google home app settings.3, 4, and 5 are grouped together in the Sonos app. Whatever I do, I am not able to make google play the music on the Sonos.I set up the Sonos as the default speaker but whenever I ask:“hey google play xxx music” it plays it on the google home mini not on the Sonos.  “hey google play xxx music in living room” it still plays in on the google home mini not on the Sonos. even if I ask this while I’m right next to the Beam, it will still play on the google home mini. “hey google move the music to living room speaker” it will say that this is not supported. “hey google play the news” it will stiil play on the google home mini. Why are these 5 actions impossible?

Hi guys. I have a Sonos one paired as stereo, and use them primarily as computer speakers connected via AirPlay. They function perfectly when used as smart speakers, but the airplay feature seems very shaky. When I come into the office in the morning it takes multiple attempts to get the Mac to find the speakers over AirPlay, usually resulting in the speakers not found pop up I have seen a lot on these pages. Its almost like after a period of inactivity they go into some kind of sleep mode that they cannot be forced awake from. After a few attempts, the speakers will pop up in the sound section of the menu bar and then they work fine...until they seemingly go to sleep again when the mac is inactive i.e lunchtime. Then the same process has to be repeated until I can get them working. All the while, the Sonos Controller can connect to Radio stations in the app absolutely fine, so the speakers are connected to the router with no issues. It seems to be the Airplay connectivity it struggles w

After a software upgrade with Sony tv, soundbar no longer recognizes either Xfinity or Sony remotes.  The only way to get the volume adjusted is the stand directly in front of the soundbar with remote, then the beam works.  Have had installers here and they were clueless and said only 1 year warranty on soundbar, so no luck there.  (and BTW - that one year warranty is disappointing)

I upgraded to S2 and now my volume increases dramatically when I switch from TV to streaming or a DVD. I’ve called Sonos tech support and got no resolution and they said I could not return to the S1 version which worked fine.

Encountering issues with certain podcasts that cut off suddenly and I cannot restart as I get "not coded correctly" error. Happened while using Stitcher... Got thru episode using Iheartradio, then, still using Iheartradio, following episode cut off. Can restart but not advance episode, same error, 2 different apps. Help?

Hi there.I am British and live in Spain.  Today I got an email in Spanish (a language I don’t speak particularly well) about Sonos Radio stations.  But because I’m in Spain and Sonos Stations are only offered in a handful of countries, I can’t access them. Meanwhile in the Sonos Radio section of the app, I see an ad banner for Sonos Radio HD which I can’t sign up for it’s not available outside the UK or US.  I’ve no particular objection to Sonos advertising new services to me, but it’s frustrating when they’re adverts in the wrong language (My profile is set to “Preferred Language: English”) and/or for services you won’t let me sign up for! Rod.

Multicasting is on. Network is open for all traffic. Mac adress added and static IP set. Sub connects fine to wifi however the setup through iPhone fail during the last step. Unable to hardwire Sub. Please help.
