After a couple months of being up, a gap has developed where the speaker meets the wall mount. It used to be a tight seam but now when the the speaker is pushed back into the mount there is a gap as the the weight of the speaker seems to be bending it down. It still extends and retracts without issue but the gap is really annoying. Has anyone experienced this?

I recently became a Spotify Premium subscriber. Knowing I can play Spotify on Sonos systems, I was shocked to find that Spotify podcasts cannot be played through Sonos. Why the hell not? Why is Sonos blocking part of the Spotify content?

We have a Sonos One & Sonos SL paired as stereo controlled by a Amazon Echo Dot, this is used with Amazon Music Unlimited. I am considering cancelling my subscription to Amazon Music Unlimited and switching to Spotify. Do commands work the same on Amazon Music for instance all we had to say was Alexa Play Radio 2 and Radio 2 started, or Alexa play Fleetwood mac and on came Fleetwood Mac. Ive been told its not as easy with Spotify, and different commands are used. This would be ok with me, but not with my Mrs, its taken absolutely ages to get her to use Alexa, and almost as long to get Sonos Speakers. main reason for change is the Spotify app is much better than Amazon for me. So if Spotify isn’t as easy with commands i will leave it alone, rather than cause issues with the other half

Hello! So I’ve been hunting around for awhile now to try to answer what feels like it should be a relatively simple question. I’m actually looking to potentially invest in a Sonos Arc surround set, at the same time I upgrade my TV. Currently I’m looking at getting an 85” Sony X900H (with the latest firmware upgrade supporting eARC. My question is this - if I want to continue using my AppleTV4K to stream content (specifically for Dolby Atmos), how is that possible with just the one HDMI port on the Arc? I’m aware I need to stream through eARC in order to pass an Atmos signal through, but would I not want to connect the AppleTV through eARC as well? Or pass through the Sonos Arc (which I know I cannot do?). Obviously without owning either the sound bar or the TV, it’s a bit hard to just run these tests myself. I’m wondering - would I just connect the AppleTV to one of the regular HDMI inputs on the TV, then connect an HDMI to the TV’s eARC port down to the Sonos Arc? Will that pass the A

Hey guys, All my speakers (Sonos One, ARC, Beam) disappeared from my IPhone 12.  It is there on my other devices and I can play music via the Sonos app.  I just can’t play it from my native phone app.  Anyone have an idea of what it is?  Sonos support is beyond useless.  I never had problems with any of their devices until now.  When I need help, they are simply useless.  

I have a Sonos arc hooked up to my Sony tv (900h) in my bedroom. It has an Apple TV 4K hooked up also. I work graveyard and sleep during day. Someone using the living room tv (has apple 4K as well) hooks up to my arc and the sound almost gives you a heart attack. Is there away to shut off the sound that way no one hijacks my sound bar. It’s annoying. Never thought I’d die from a sound bar. Anyone else experiencing this?

Hi I know there was a Sonos update pushed around 11-11-20.  Also upgraded to iOS14.  Now I don’t see my Sonos speakers at all when using Apple Music app and trying to Airplay2 to the various speaker sets.  The Apple TV’s I have do show up in the Airplay 2 list.  Just my 4 different Sonos rooms don’t show.  Anyone have any ideas?  Thanks.  

Pandora stopped working all of a sudden and I get the message “Unable to browse music” on the sonos app.  Pandora works fine on my phone otherwise

I am trying to figure out my mom’s new Arc, and why it would be cutting out while watching TV.  It is working fine while playing music, and two other Beam’s are working fine with their TV’s.  I have not hard wired the Arc yet, but will try that this morning.   The Arc is located far enough away from the router that I do not think this could be a problem.  She has a Samsung Q7 TV which played very nice with the Beam before the Arc arrived.   Any help would be appreciated. 

I have 2 active speakers (so the amp is build in the speaker) connected to the line out of the Sonos Connect. This works great. Now I want to add the Sonos Sub 3 to this. Is that possible? If not, is an upgrade to the Sonos Port a solution?

Hi, I want to combine my Sonos system with my Devialet Expert Pro Amp for the following use cases; #1 I would want to establish a Surround set-up for my TV, where;I can use my 2 Sonos Ones as rear surround speakers My Sonos Sub as a sub And my Devialet Expert Pro driven non-active speakers as the front-stereo speakersI am also consider having a Sonos Arc in the front (but would still want to have the ability to top it up with the Devialet Expert Pro driven non-active speakers. Please note that this setup ONLY has to work for TV. I do not intend to use the sub nor the rear surroun speakers for music listening.#2 I would want to plugin my Devialet Expert Pro driven non-active speakers as a “speaker” into my Sonos System for multi-room control, and control via AlexaThis one I think should be pretty straightforward; I plug in a Sonos Port, and use either a grouped and muted Sonos One or an Amazon Echo for voice control?

Does anyone know if I can connect six (6) Sonance in-ceiling architectural speakers to one Amp? They are 8 ohms and 125 watts for the pair. These are the Best Buy Sonance 6 1/2” round in-ceiling speakers.  Thanks!

Hi all, We have recently upgraded our system to S2, and swapped a Bridge for Boost for the privilege. It is now painfully slow to use by phone though (iPhone XS, nothing too old).The ‘My Sonos’ screen takes something like 10-30s to load, which seems totally unreasonable and is also way slower than S1 (slow but less than 10s). Any ideas?TIA :)

So I’ve upgraded to the S2 app and have a Beam, Sub gen 2, 2 x sonos one surround setup.  I use my iPhone 11 to stream music via AirPlay from Qobuz, which as I understand has a compatible high res format with Sonos (FLAC).   In this article - https://support.sonos.com/s/article/79?language=en_US, it states ‘Sonos supports the following audio formats when streaming from your local music library, Android device, or Internet radio stations’. And it supports ‘24-bit (44.1kHz/48kHz, FLAC/ALAC)’. So my questions are: Is streaming from Qobuz via AirPlay considered my local music library? If I’m playing a 24-bit high res track at 96 kHz, how is the quality of the playback affected, assuming anything above 48 kHz is lost?

Currently have an internal Mesh Network with over 13 Amazon Echos or various models connected.  I have found it frustrating to keep them going as a group Often stopping mid song or after a song, and I have to repeat the request to keep playing. I currently own Sonos ARC, Sub, and two Play one rear channel speakers.    So I was thinking of expanding this solution for the rest of the house.   Two questionsIf I extend this to include another 4 more Sonos one’s, do folks have any experience of a larger group like this doing well on a Mesh network (Not stopping constantly)?  Trying to see if I should invest and dump the Amazon speaker solution How Many Outdoor Sonos speakers can one connect to the Sonos Amp?   I am consider connecting four of them.  Can they all be connected to the same wire in series from one Sonos 250watt amp or do I need to limit it to one pair of leads per speaker and I need two Sonos amps (4 leads) to drive four Sonos speakers?

I have my turntable hooked up to my Sonos Amp via Line-In.  When I switch to line in and play (without dropping the needle) I get silence.  If I then group the Amp with another speaker (in my Case I grouped with a Beam 5.1 setup in my Basement).  I suddenly have static hiss/noise coming out of my speakers hooked up to the Amp (still haven dropped the needle).  Its almost like the beam is feeding a signal back to the Amp which is odd as the Line-In is on the Amp.  Removed the Beam from the grouping so it was just the Amp again and the noise stops.  I have no idea if this also happens when it actually plays as I don't often group with other speakers when playing the turntable but it is quite annoying.  I was also able to replicate this grouping to my Move, so its not a problem with .  Can easily reproduce this issue.Could the turntable be picking up wifi interference?  If so, why wouldn't it be doing so with the just the Amp in the group since the Amp is still connected to Wifi for volum

Hi there,I have a new Arc and Samsung The Frame 2020 TV. No Dolby Atmos showing in Sonos app even though eAr. And Dolbly Atmos TV settings are set. I’m using the Disney Plus, Netflix, Amazon Prime apps. None showing atmos in the now playing window of the Sonos app. Any ideas?Thanks!

I have added two Move speakers to my Sonos setup. Unfortunately, they keep disappearing from the System list. For instance, right now, my "Office" Move speaker is missing from my iPad app, iPhone app, and pc (although it is available on my Android app). My "Kitchen" Move speaker is missing from all four. When I check again later, I expect both speakers to be on the list, without me having done anything. They keep popping in and out of existence. (Also, sometimes, the devices will show up on the list, but I won't be able to control them: Starting playback fails with an error message stating that, well, playback failed.)I've read the Standby thread (https://en.community.sonos.com/wireless-speakers-228992/move-standby-question-6830346) with interest, but I don't think that's the issue here. The speakers are not on standby. For instance, right now, the "Kitchen" speaker reacts when I press, say, the Microphone on/off button, and the "Office" speaker will even resume playback of the podcast

I have Sonos throughout my house but I recently added 2x HomePod minis. I mainly want to use the HomePod minis for the Siri function, rather than as actual speakers. id be interested to know how others have set up HomePod mini to work with Sonos.For example, I have one HomePod mini physically in the kitchen with a play 5 and a Sonos move also in my kitchen. Whenever I want the HomePod to play to the play 5 and move I say “hey Siri, play … in the kitchen”. However in order to prevent the HomePod mini also playing the music on its own speaker (which I don’t want it to do - as the sound quality is inferior to the play 5 and move) I have designated the HomePod mini to be in a separate room on HomeKit (I called the room “kitchen HomePod” whereas the play 5 and move are in the HomeKit room “kitchen”). If I just say “hey Siri play...” then it just plays in the HomePod mini only. It would be nice if I could set the HomePod mini to always default to play music on specific speakers. it all seems

Fair warning, lots of detail. I’m a software engineer with familiarity with networking architectures so I’ll be direct. I've recently upgraded both my router and modem, which is where issues began.Single floor apartment that’s less than 500sq feet. Three Sonos:One devices, none more than 3M and a single wall (wood framing + sheetrock) from the router, signal strengths are extremely high (-30dbm) and there’s no more than 4 of my neighbor’s networks competing on any channel (1/6/11). A few neighbors use the in between networks but they aren’t meaningfully contributing to any added signal load on 1/6/11. iPhone XS with Sonos S2 12.2.3System was originally hooked up with ‘Modem 1’ and an older Linksys 2.4 single band router. Sonos was stable, with Alexa enabled, no issues.I updated to a dual-band ASUS RT-AX86U. I have an Optoma UHD30 with a Chromecast for streaming video. On the Optoma optical out I’ve connected an HDMI cable through the Sonos Optical to HDMI adapter. The HDMI cable goes to the Sonos Beam. No sound is coming through Sonos Beam.What’s the best way of troubleshooting this? I can see red light coming out the Optoma optical out and I’ve already tried two brand new hdmi cables. Thanks.

Haven’t used my system for a while and am now wondering whether to upgrade to S1 11.2.4?System Info:Sonos Connect ZP90, digital out to HiFi system music files in iTunes library macOS El Capitan planning to upgrade to Mojave, possibly Catalina shortly. mainly using desktop controller version 7.1 as interface, iPhone (iOS 13) as remote onlyDoes anyone here think there are advantages staying at 7.1? Or is there a unanimous consensus that 11.2.4 is the better option? Many thanks for your thoughts on this... 

I am in UK. I use the BBC Sounds app to play radio shows via air play 2 on my SONOS system. I have a Play:3 grouped with a One SL. I only use the One SL to access air play - it will always be muted, so I am only really using the Play:3 for the sound. I know it sounds nuts but I couldn’t afford to upgrade my whole SONOS system just listen to the radio in my kitchen when the BBC decided to remove their shows from services like TuneIn in order to “improve my experience” and the One SL is very tinny on its own. Here’s the problem: when I start a radio program and connect it to SONOS via AirPlay the volume on the One SL and Play:3 always reset to a high level and I have to race to mute the One SL and lower the Play:3. This happens every time I make the AirPlay connection, it always resets. I have searched iOS, BBC Sounds and SONOS settings but can’t find a starting volume setting anywhere. Is there a way of avoiding this annoying habit of high initial volume over AirPlay?

Sonos update and new app installed.The new app drops connection frequently with a pair of Sonos Speakers I have and now, I am unable to play any BBC Radio stations which all played perfectly well using Amazon Alexa. A Amazon device I have works just fine.Up until five days ago I was able to use my Sonos speakers to connect via Alexa to any Radio station, which was the main reason for buying these Sonos Speakers! I’ve spent over four full days now de-registering and re-setting these devices to no avail and I am very angry.These very expensive Sonos speakers have now effectivly been rendered useless.What’s going in Sonos?

After installing the new app and boost, my system is now split in my house.  The tv area with the playbar, 3’s and base are seemingly on their own system while everything else is on a different one.
