Hi, I connected my LG 60ln570t model via hdmi arc to my sonos beam. However I keep getting simplink not connected error when I try to set my TV up.Tried restarting and changing my cable but doesn't work. Any help on this. 

I’m looking to add an in wall subwoofer to my sonos home theater system. Currently I have an arc center channel and then 2 sets of architectural in wall speakers running to 2 separate amps for front/back, left/right. I would like to run two subs, one to each amp. Any recommendations on in wall subs to use? As well, what connections work best to get the most sound?

[Soap-box]Every time the Sonos software is updated this happens. The fix is NEVER the same. After spending $2000 on speakers (that work great when the software works) its frustrating to have to do this again…. and again.My Mac is on BigSur 11.0.1I just updated my Sonos:controller: 12.2.2 Build: 61183220Hardware version: 1.12.1.7-1.2 Everything 2 days ago was working fine. Now, the music library (which didnt change locations) will not allow me to add it (dont know why I have to do this on an upgrade anyway) so, while I CAN listen to Pandora, iTunes music is not permissible. What have I done to attempt fix it?1- Turned off firewall (norton 360) - [didnt help]2- Uninstalled norton360 - [didnt help]3- Gave Sonos full disk access permissions [didnt help]4- Revisited Privacy and Security Settings, re-set them [didnt help]5- re-installed Norton and re-associated permissions with app [didnt help]6- Cussed a great deal as now the plesaure of listening to music has now pissed me off [didnt help]

I want to use a Sonos port for line-in from TV audio output. Network connection would be wired and I’m able to adjust audio delay from the tv. I’m wondering if: has anyone done this? is the delay steady? If this won’t work - any ideas on how to be do this?I’m using sonos ports for all other wired speakers zones in my house and will feed audio from the port that is being fed from the TV’s line out.

Hi All,I have a several speaker ranging from Play 1to Play 5 beams sub etc Like most people who been using Sonos for 10 years we can up grade.My question is the festive offer off £100 for a Move doesn't qualify me the further 15% off.In fact it take the 15% off and not show the £100 off. So is it one or the other?

I have a Linksys Velop Mesh system in my home connected to my Xfinity modem. I also have a guest network for a separate access point for the tenants in the adjoining duplex.  My Sonos system can’t see the primary network created by the mesh system. On other threads people have suggested going into ‘bridge’ mode in order for Sonos to be able to see the mesh network. But as I understand it, bridge mode would close the separate access point I created for my tenants and put us all on the same access point. Is there an alternative to ‘bridge mode’ for Sonos to be able to see my mesh network without losing my other access point to bridge mode?

I have a Sonos beam , Sonos 1SL and a Sonos 1 set of speakers. I am finding it impossible to create a surround or 3.1 system via the Sonos app. My beam is connected to my TV via optical out and works fine. My 2 Sonos speakers work fine as a stereo pair. How can I do this, or do I have incompatible speakers?

I have an Arc and 2 Sonos Ones. I’m trying to setup the surround and it is failing with no error code. All devices are V2. They are all accessible on my network. The router is a Netgear Nighthawk triband router. I’m attempting the setup from an IPhone running IOS 14.2.1.  Any ideas? Thanks in advance. 

is there a headset that will work with Sonos beam? Listened to too much Zep & Queen at the required volume in my time! got a great beam system and can just turn it up when i’m alone. but when watching with the wife i need to turn volume up a little too much for her liking. would like something that allows me to listen independent of the other speakers.

I recently moved and am setting up my sonos in the new house. I’ve had to factory reset each speaker to install in the new location. (No Issue) I have successfully installed the other systems so far, but my play:5 is not connecting to my phone at set up. (see pic 1) I then plug into my google wifi router and successfully install the speaker. I then update the network settings and when i unplug the ethernet the sonos system can no longer find the speaker. I have tried restarting the router during every step of the process, I have deleted and reinstalled the sonos app, i have tried installing from multiple devices.  Any help would be great! 

Hi, I was wondering what the best way would be to achieve this goal, I want to play my vinyl through the house, including my Tannoy speakers, I also want to stream from my nas to all speakers including my Tannoy speakers. The turntable has a pre amp and rca connections, the amp has no digital connections but does have a line in and line outThanksPhil

I’ve had universally good experiences of SONOS...up until now.  I’ve just bought a Move and I cannot get it to connect.  There are other threads that hint at this but none of the workarounds seem to work. I go to add the speaker in the iOS app, it recognises it, goes through the setup and then tells me I will need to connect via iOS accessory setup.  There is a button in the app that says “Go to accessory setup” which doesn’t work.  Others have posted a workaround - minimise the app, go to ios settings, wifi, and select the Move - this starts but ultimately produces an error and fails.  I have tried my iphone and ipad.  My wife’s ipad is still on iOS 14.2 and gets further through this workaround than my phone or ipad but still ends in an error.I’ve spoken twice to technical support and couldn’t get any further than the advice to try and find a friend or neighbour to borrow an Android phone from for a couple of minutes to set up the speaker with!This seems to be a known issue with sonos

HiHave my first Sonos One SL. No instruction manual came with it as bought second-hand.I would like to add stations to Sonos Radio. However, I can’t see a search facility to find and add. Is this feature only available for upgraded users? How can sound be adjusted? Bass, treble, etc. Where can I find a manual?Cheers.

Following  up on the several threads here reporting issues between Samsung TV and Sony Beam - I have owned a 55" Samsung TV, Sonos Beam for around a year. I recently discovered (family generally uses this TV not me) that the sound doesn't come through the Beam most of the time.Here's what I have found, I will report in a few days whether it is actually fixed or not.The Sonos software works fine setting up the Beam to HDMI ARC on the TV. No issues at all with set up. The TV reports the Beam as “receiver HDMI".Unplugging and plugging the Beam HDMI cable with the TV and Beam turned on gets the sound back through the Beam immediately.Turning the TV on and adjusting the sound as it boots shows the sound to the Beam to be working. But when the TV is fully booted the sound reverts to the TV speakers.Turning Samsung Anynet/CEC on/off toggles the sound between the TV speakers and the Beam.I have a satellite box connected to HDMI1, CEC is switched off on the satellite box and always has been.I h

Hi all!I’m only having the sonos beam connected to my TV (sony bravia X800h or XH80) and it’s showing an audio input of Dolby Digital 5.1, while the beam should only be 3.0. So, my question is, should it be on Dolby Digital 5.1 or on 2.0? And if it should be on 2.0, do you know how to change that?Greetings, Arvid!

I have a Sonos Symfonisk, AirPlay2 compatible speaker in my Kitchen (and other Sonos speakers in other rooms)The room is called “Kitchen”In the Apple Home app, the Kitchen speaker is also in a room named “Kitchen”I play music to the speaker sometimes through the Sonos app, sometimes from AirPlay from an apple device (iOS 14.2)I notice that the speaker name keeps changing from “Kitchen” to “Kitchen Speaker” after a day or soI don’t want it called “Kitchen Speaker”, I just want it called “Kitchen” so that the Airplay2 controls show it as a speaker with name “Kitchen”. The name “Kitchen Speaker” is too long and doesn’t look good in the AirPlay2 controls.Why does the name keep changing?Is it because the device has the same name as the room?

Hi,For 6 months now one of my Sonos One speakers has been rebooting itself during playback. Playback stops, the white LED pulsates on and off, and the music playback does *not* resume.I use either Spotify Connect or via AirPlay from my iPhone. I have three Sonos One speaker and a Playbase/Sub combo, and this specific Sonos One is the only speaker that reboots itself.  In my opinion, the volume level seems to be a factor, although this is an observation rather than a scientific measurement.My apartment is a single floor, open plan layout, and my AmpliFi Router HD base station is located close to the centre of the apartment, meaning that no device is more than 6-7 metres (20-23 feet) away (as measured straight line, ignoring any walls). My AmpliFi reports the following information about this Sonos Speaker:  Signal: 83%, Rx Bitrate: 48.00 Mbps, Tx Bitrate: 24.00 Mbps.This morning it happened again, and within 5 minutes I submitted a diagnostic, which has reference number 647034020.  The r

Hi I had to update my WD My Cloud to OS 5 and in doing so I lost connection to my library. I am running sonos on S1 as I have a Play:5 and bridge that don't support S2. Once updated the WD My Cloud, the link to my music library needed to be updated. I have tried to do this via the conversational NAS drive connection that we had before and the My Cloud Home Service setting, neither work. Nas drive gives me a error 900, where I've followed instructions to adapt the bite rate to 24 and 26 and I still get the issue. When I go through the My Cloud Home Service I can see the directories but no music files. Please can you advise, I feel like I'm going around in circles. Very frustrating..!  

Just a quick ask if anyone has discovered or heard anything regarding the 12/8/20 update besides the traditional performance updates, and other such etc...

I”m a network technician.   I have 16 sonos speakers, some wired, some wireless, some paired, some singles.  Just added, Part of this collection is a playbar, sub, two Play 1’s .   Network is 4 point mesh system, three remote wifi are ethernet backhauled.  No speakers are more the 20 feet from a wifi point, or are wired direct into a ethernet switch.  Gigabit internet connection, but I play 90% of my music from my 8 bay Synology NAS.I am having a TERRIBLE time with this system now.  Songs skip frequently before completing.  It is maddening.  Rarely is a full song played.Also, possibly related, possibly not, when I group all of the speakers together to play ‘whole house’  it can take 5 min before some of the speaker come on.  Sometimes if I move the collective volume slider up or down, the remaining will pop on.Diagnostics:  Your confirmation number is: 2099408113 Many thanks,StephenCary, NC
