Hi, I’m testing out Apple Music, and have noticed that the only songs that show up are those in my library (instead of the all the songs on the service). Is this expected behavior? With YouTube Music, for example, I can search for and play any song in their catalog.  Clicking into “My Library” for Apple Music shows more results, but none that match the song. I was able to open the Apple Music app and find the song in their catalog, so they do have it available for streaming. I submitted a diagnostic report: 988653685 Here’s a sample screenshot of the search results: 

My Symfonisk speaker was working fine until a few months ago. Then it started to not being visible from the app (or being seen over AirPlay2). Only after force killing and restarting the app a few times the unit would wake up and become visible. Now this is not happening anymore, so I decided to reset and reconfigure the unit. The app finds the unit and seems to start configuration (sound is playing) but after a while it says that it lost connection, to power down and then on again the Symfonisk unit. Went through the process many times but always same results. Things already tried based on other posts found in the community: moved speaker closer to the router connected speaker to router via ethernet cable deleted and reinstalled app on my iPhoneDoes anyone have an idea of how to solve this problem?

I just got a new network set up in my house and after spending 90 minutes on the phone with Sonos customer support, I learned that using the Sonos2 app, I can no longer connect my Samsung “Frame” tv to my Sonos Sound bar using the optical cable.  Apparently, the new Sonos2 app requires HDMI.  FOr those that don;t know what the Frame is, it’s a TV that looks like a picture frame on the wall.  There is a very thin almost invisible optical cable that runs from the bottom of this picture “Frame” to the box.  I am not going to plug in a ugly thick HDMI cable to the back of the TV. Sonos needs to fix this ASAP!  I had no problems with Sonos1.  At least bring back Sonos1 so I can get my TV hooked up to quality sound.

Hello all, is there any way to confirm a ZP90 is still functional (and not been used for Upgrade and bricked) before purchase?.

Hey guys, I was hoping to get some help/clarification of what’s going on.  setup:lg C9-Sonos Arc+sub(gen2)+LS+RS(both are one SL)As you all are aware my arc is connected directly to my TV and is connected vi Ethernet to my router. When I turn off the wifi on the arc my system goes haywire-surrounds don’t work and sub shuts off. When I turn it back on everything is fine. I have read another post and heard that wifi does need to be on even though the arc is Ethernet direct. I’m on my phone and wish I could copied it before typing this.  now, on that forum I saw they were mentioning “WM:#” when I go into about my system all my devices show WM:0. With my arc directly connected I figured it would show a #1. If anyone can help give some clarification of what’s going that would be great.   edit: this is link to discussion of the forum I mentioned-  

I have 4 Connect:AMPs and 1 Connect (Gen2). Two of the Connect AMPs have Line-In connections from TVs - Kitchen and Bedroom. The set up was done two years ago, and has been working well until recently. Now, if I select Line-In on the app, it indicates active audio (wavy thing), however there’s no sound from the speakers. I tried both the line-ins separately on the respective rooms’ Connect AMPs and also on Connect AMPs in other rooms - no use. However, all play streaming music (from local PC) and internet radio stations well. Only problem is with Line-In on both the AMPs. Any help would be greatly appreciated.  (submitted diagnostics - 44375962).

I have two Sonos 1 speakers and one says it is “hidden.” I’ve completed the steps in the previous community thread and it still won’t come out of hiding. 

Well, about a year ago, I used a Sonos Speaker (don’t remember which one, I remember it was white and kinda round but also tall). I used it because it was set up in a lodge I rented for a few days to go skiing. So, I set up an account and linked my Spotify to it. Well, yesterday, someone, who probably rented the same lodge as I did, connected to the Sonos speaker, and my Spotify account started playing random songs on my phone. There is absolutely no way I can get to that speaker to reset it since it’s in the lodge. I tried to go unlink devices in the Sonos App, but all of the Settings are greyed out, is there anything I can do, because I don’t want to create a new Spotify account because of this. Thanks

Hi all, Wonder if you can give me some advice please. I'm thinking of buying a turntable to play all of my old vinyl and I want it to work with my current Sonos setup. Everything that I've read suggests that it needs to be a cable connection between the turntable and speaker. Provided I buy a WiFi enabled turntable, can I connect via WiFi to the speaker? Many thanks 😀

When I ask any of my Google Assistant activated Sonos Ones to play a song from my connected default Music Service, Spotify, Google responds “I can’t do that here but you can ask me to do that on one of your other devices.” 

Both myself and my boyfriend are experiencing this issue. We have been for months and it has not fixed itself. We recently went to stay with my parents and tried connecting to their sonos system. It would not let us because it kept trying to sign us into my dad’s account. Now we have returned to our flat and are trying to use our own system, it will not let us in and keeps trying to sign me into my brothers account. The app is not helpful at all as we cannot click on anything (not even a ‘change user’ option) without first signing into his account. My brother has never lived here and did not set up our account so this is really frustrating and seems like a poor design.Can anyone please help and tell us how to get back into our own system? Thanks

Just a heads up, I am already annoyed/extremely frustrated with this product so please don’t hit me with any canned responses or weak-sauce answers! I purchased the Sonos play 5 (I think it’s a gen 2) a while back and attempted to connect it to my existing sonos beam and other sonos speaker (can’t remember if it’s a play 1 or play 3) and my sonos bridge, I am told that my Play 5 is incompatible with my existing products:I have tired both the G1 and the G2 app.I tired ethernet direct connection.I tried a line in connnection directly to my PCI have even tried a line in connection from one speaker (which still functions) to my Play 5Nothing is working. I would honestly like to know how can you sell a product for $500 when it is functionally broken straight out of the box??Please help me with either direct answers and help, your phone lines are closed on the weekend!

Anyone else having problems connecting directly through airplay now. I was ok until last week. But now I only be able to play through the Sonos app rather than through music - airplay on my phone?

I have my system updates set to “update automatically” and in the 2 hour morning window. Will I be notified when an update has been applied to my system? Am I better to check for updates manually?

Hi, I am aware that there are multiple Samsung remote issues on these forums, but I believe mine may be distinct. Last night, my Beam suddenly stopped working w/ the Samsung TV. After factory resetting the beam, unplugging the TV for 60 seconds, and then setting everything up anew, it is working again. However, starting tonight, my remote (similar to the one pictured here) won’t control the TV volume (though the Sonos app will). This had worked fine for months and even did last night after I redid the setup. What’s especially strange is that when I hit volume up/down/mute on the remote, the normal popup that an “HDMI” volume change is underway pops up on the screen, so it is receiving some command, the volume just never changes. Any ideas? Thank you for your help.

I had Apple Music added and deleted it because I was having issues with it playing music. When I try to readd the service it just opens my Apple Music app and nothing happens. Things I tried so far is reinstalling the Sonos app, tried adding it through my macOS (not allowed)

Hello All, new to the Sonos community here. I am wanting to play music in my “upstairs group” which consists of two echo dots and a recently added Sonos Arc however, I am unable to do so. I did see, a few years ago, where this feature was unavailable (it was either one or the other -SONOS group OR ALEXA devices Group but not both) and was wondering if anything has changed? When I run the Spotify application on my Windows 10 laptop it (almost) never finds my Sonos speakers. When I start the Spotify app on my Android or Apple phone it immediately shows all available devices. When I start the Sonos app on my laptop it also finds the Sonos speakers within a second. All my devices are on the same wifi network and same vlan. The problem seems to be in the Spotify Windows client. Or is it something in the Sonos system?

I have successfully added the mixcloud music service to Sonos.How do I play a mixcloud live stream?If I follow a mixcloud user, I can see them in the Sonos App:Mixcloud > My Profile > Following > {mixcloud user} > StreamHowever, all I see is ‘No selections are available’Is mixcloud live stream supported in the Sonos Mixcloud Music Service? 

I’ve tried Google Music, Youtube Music, and Spotify.What is the best music vendor to use on Sonos so I don’t have to worry if someone else is listening to music in another room?

Sonos newbie here. So I have a Pro-Ject Debut Carbon turntable and a preamp that I would like to set up with a pair of Fives for stereo sound. Is it possible to hardwire both or do I just use a rca to 3.5mm to one of the Fives and then couple the 2nd Five using the software?  Greatul for any advice here!   

Hi I know this has been asked many times before but it always seems to be in one direction.Now I have my HiFi system with record deck and CD player feeding into an integrated amp (NAD C 368). This drives two pairs of passive speakers. What I want to do is link my HiFi amplifier into Sonos so I can play my vinyl and CDs through my Sonos set up. All the other posts seem to be bringing Sonos into the HiFi or missing the HiFi amplifier out and connecting the record desk direct to Connect. I don't want to do this as I want to retain the record deck playing through the passive speakers in one room - which is much better quality than sonos, but want to be able to switch the HiFi output into Sonos around the rest of my house.My HiFi amplifier has a Pre-out. Maybe it is obvious but its a little unclear to me - can I just feed this into the Port or do I need the Amp?(stupidly I just upgraded to Sonos 2 and this stopped my exiting Connect:AMP from working as I think this may have been a solution!

I have an older PLAY5 plus two PLAY 1s and a BEAM and just  took delivery  of a new PLAY5  to be compatible with S2   I thought I could play all the  new compatible stuff with S2 but then switch back to S1 to include my new PLAY5 . S1 now says the Play 1s and the Beam is incompatible and can only use the old PLAY5 as a stand alone. Is this right as it is now what I previously read?

I have home with built in speakers throughout home in ceilings. I have Connect and output wires going to speakers and it shows playing thru the app but no sound. Do I also need a receiver going into the Connect as a Line in to hear the music?  Or can it just play trough the app and the WiFi. Thanks for any guidance.
