 Hi, I have 1 sonos beam and 1 sonos one. I can control the volume of the sonos beam with the tv control but the sonos one does not work with the tv control. Any solution for this, thanks.

New Move speaker turns itself on and starts playing when I open the Sonos application on my laptop. It is grouped with other speakers.  Even when the other speakers (grouped) are muted, the Move will turn on and start playing all by itself.  This just started happening today.  The speaker is new - only have had it about a week.

I read a few older posts that the One SLs can’t be set to Full On for TV….just for music.  I was hoping that Sonos had changed this setting by now.  Has anyone figured that out yet?  I have 2 brand new One SL’s that are about to be returned because of this lack of flexibility.  Our Beam is great but we sit far enough back from the TV that we often say, “what did they just say?”  Was hopeful that 2 One SL’s would have fixed this for us vs turning the Beam up so high that others complain in the rest of the house that the tv is too loud.  Please advise if there is a hack for this to set the SLs up as Full On for TV. I’ve done a fair amount of research on this with no luck. I am looking for a DD+ or Dolby TrueHD test pattern that I can run through my ARC/Sub/ONE SL’s home theatre setup so I can review and possibly tweak some of the directional and volume levels of my setup. The TruePlay setup works fine but I would like to have more control over my environment.For instance, I would love to be able to send a white noise signal to just the Atmos speakers in the ARC so that I can determine the sweet spot for my room configuration. Another use would be to send a 20-40hz signal just to the Sub so that I can move it around and determine the best location. These features are available on dedicated A/V receivers but unfortunately not through the Sonos environment.Either way, if someone could help me in finding an audio test track that can send signals to each speaker that would be fantastic. I have recently moved to a remote area without Broadband, so am using a 4G Netgear Nighthawk MR2100 as my new router. This works well with very acceptable speeds for streaming etc. However Sonos will not connect to it. I have a PlayBar and Sonos 1 that have served me well for 3-4 years. The PlayBar is hardwired from the Nighthawk. The Nighthawk recognises that a Sonos product is connected to it, but neither the Sonos iOS app or the Mac App will connect to it. I have restarted and rebooted everything multiple times and checked for updates. The Nighthawk MR2100 is not on Sonos’s list of unsupported models. Can anyone help? Thanks

I have an older Bridge and if I remember correctly I was informed that it was no longer needed for S1 and player 3. I   have switched over to S2 for my player 3 and added a Move as well. Is there anyway to use my older  bridge on s2 for these two products and is it worth the effort? If not is there a way to sell it that it others can use it? TY Bob

My Sonos move displays in the app but does not display battery charge and won't enable status lights or touch controls. I've tried full turn of but still won't display correctly.

I have just connected my brand new Pro-Ject Debut Carbon to a Play five. Very bad sound. Have to play almost 100% to hear anything. Any good quick fix?

Hi,I have the Sonos Move and it says the battery will last for up to 900 ‘charges’. What is exactly considered a ‘charge’? Is it when I lift the speaker up and set it back down on the charger instantly? If I never take the speaker off the dock, would that just be one ‘charge’ and will help the battery last longer?Thanks! 

I am trying to simplify life so that multiple PCs can update music library and update Sonos.  A networked drive connected to 2 PCs would both need to update the music library.  Does this work with Sonos V2 and are there any issues with multiple PCs adding to the playback queue in different rooms.  This is a “music is locally stored question”. 

Hi folks. I have a beam set up with my TV. Considering two One’s to create a surround sound but wonder if all 3 devices connect with each other wirelessly? I.e all the new Ones’s need is a power source… I assumed this was the case up until I started being confused with amplifiers and so on, not sure if I need an additional item to sync together wirelessly now. Any advice appreciated. Cheers,Rhys

Hi guysOut of curiosity.  I have a sonos surround system with one Sonos Arc , 2 Subs Gen 3 and 2 Sonos one SL as surround speakers. I wonder, is the a way to connect two additional One SL to the same system ? A few weeks ago they upgrade the S2 to connect two Subs. I did buy another Sub Gen 3 and it is amazing how the system improves with two subs. I would like to add two more SL but I think us not possible.  Will it be ??

Just got the Arc, loving it, but wondering if I need to change the physical setup as it does block the TVs IR receiver.  In the app I have enabled the IR repeater, but it doesn't seem to work. The TV receiver is on the far left, where is the IR repeater on the arc? Is there anything I can try?

Hey, I´d like help with confirming that the plan in my head is actually viable in reality aswell. I just picked up an old vinyl player and I want to use this together with my current and future Sonos speakers. I´m gonna buy a pre-amp for the vinyl player in order to get it to line level. I have 5 Symfonisk speakers and I´m looking to buy a Sonos Arc to pair with my TV. What I´d like to confirm is that I will be able to use the Vinyl player together with the Symfonisk and the Arc and that the Symfonisk will also work as rear speakers for the Arc together with the TV. Is that possible by only buying a Sonos Connect gen 1? A second question, do the Connect gen 1 work over Wifi or is it in need of a ethernet cable? Best regards & Thanks

I have a 5.1.2 setup (Arc, Sub, 2x One SL) for my tv, which works great.  I wanted to add another single speaker in my kitchen which would also play the sound from the TV.  Is that possible?  In the app I don't see how to add another speaker to my existing room.  Or do I make a new room and somehow group it with the TV Room set?  Just want to make sure it's possible before I buy another One SL.  Thanks!

But i have a projector bene w2700 Is It possible to connect the 2 device and male them work properly with surround?I tried to do so Yesterday but sonos app was giving me problems about CEC options or something likes that.

Hi, Recently got a Sonos arc. Wired up ok, but sound is really poor. Worse than my beam. Think it may be faulty. Tried to run the trueplay tuning.  Initial wave of sounds are ok. End up with a green circle on my iPhone,  then tuning just gets stuck on ‘listening to test tones’. I am guesssing some speakers are not firing and so the tuning can’t complete?Any advice appreciated.  ThanksA

I have a playbar, sub, two sonos one(gen 2) configured using the sonos ones as surround speakers. The mic (for Alexa) works on one of the sonos ones. I believe when the sonos ones are used as surrounds, only one mic is active. Is this correct?I want the active mic to be on the other sonos one. What is the best way to accomplish this?

I have 7 devices and the system has been unstable for a few days. It drops rooms, sometimes it sends music though them, but they are not listed on the S1 controller on either mine or my wife's phones. I have reset the rooms that keep dropping, and the Linksys Velop WiFi net and it has not sorted the problem

So a couple of weeks ago I changed he name of my PC to remove confusion with another one running in the house.  Sonos and my music was stored on the machine I changed names on, and now when I try to play music Sonos tells me it can’t find the server and quotes the previous computer name….I suspect it has to do with that computer name change. How do I sort this, please? Cheers

I would like to direct my Alexa to play a spotify playlist on a certain wired home speaker. Sonos will do it with my sonos app. I want to use Alexa. Any help? 

MANY of us are having problems using powerline adapters with SONOS. This is not an unfixable problem, so when will it be full-on addressed? Sonos did not (and actually seems unwilling to) address their ongoing ethernet-setup issue. The needs for most of us to make SONOS work over ethernet powerline adapters are two fold:(1) Many of us use ethernet to connect our SONOS speakers; sometimes for performance issues with our wifi, and others recognize that their wifi radiation is worse than a Chernobyl cancer zone. No matter which, after spending dozens of hours on the phone with about a dozen SONOS tech’s, no one has  been able to solve the issue. If we want to turn off SONOS dangerous radiation, then we need to use ethernet. (2) Who wants wires running all over the place through their house or apartment? Duh. After hours with SONOS techies, I ‘get’ the problem: ¾ of powerline adapter issues relate to the fact that many/all/most powerline ethernet adapters generate new IP’s for each/every c
