HI, I have several speakers + Sonos Boost, and my home wifi consists of 1 router and 3 BT wifi extender discs. If I plug the Boost into the main rooter the speakers furthest away from the Boost drop out too regularly to make this viable. If I plug the Boost into one of the Wifi extender discs then the system works fine for about 3 months but, after this, then the extender with the Boost plugged into it starts to need resetting before Sonos works.  At first, this happens quite infrequently but eventually it starts to happen every few minutes until I move the Boost to another disc. I’ve now run out of dics! I’ve tried both BT’s and Sono’s technical support without success. Can anyone recommend a fix which either would allow me to run the Boost through my main router (with all the speakers working) or stops the Boost resetting the Wifi discs? Many thanks in advance.

Hi AllBackstory once a very happy google play member with my own music playlists and selections uploaded to Google. Where Sonos and Google play and my Sony Bravia were all compatible happy days… Then we were forced to migrate into YouTube music which was as bad as could be expected and wouldn't playback through the Bravia or even see any of my music. So it finally looks like they have fixed that so we are halfway back to where we were last year…So the Sonos app doesn't want to play my albums or playlists anyone out there use the Sonos App and YTM (I could do with some pointers on the commands to play the Music you have uploaded in to YouTube cloud..) Any thoughts.CheersPaul

Hi all, First post here, so please go easy on me! Have had a Beam and Sub setup for around 7 months now and it’s been fantastic. Turned on the TV this morning and the Beam is working but the Sub is not. Checked the app and the Sub is showing in the app and I have a white light on the front. I have tried disconnecting power and reconnecting and this hasn’t helped. Diagnostic report number 1546425422. Any help would be much appreciated!

Hi Everyone,This is giving me the s**ts and was wondering if someone can assist me. Even better if Sonos chimes in and tell me they are working on it!My setup is  Apple TV 4K → HD Fury Acana → Sonos Arc 5.1 (ARC + 2X Surrounds + Sub). When I tell the ATV4K to keep the default format (which includes Atmos), when I watch a 5.1 show which isn’t Atmos, it plays at Multichannel PCM 5.1. This is to be expected, but what isn’t expected is that the volume of the PCM appears much softer and less punchy than if I were to tell the ATV4K to use Dolby Digital 5.1. The sound quality between the two is negligible, so I can’t say “...well MPCM is lower volume, so although I have to turn it up higher, at least the sound quality is much better”.We are talking about very noticeable differences here. What is going on? I would actually expect the Multichannel PCM 5.1 to pull trumps here. This is super annoying because, with this issue, I have a tendency to have it overriding to DD 5.1 on the ATV4K, but when

Hello,I have a Bravia 4K UR2 from 2020 hooked up via optical audio cable to a PlayBar.  For one year, the Playbar has worked fine with the Bravia remote.  However, after the Bravia system update in March 2021, the playbar no longer recognized the remote.  The remote is still IR-enabled (I.e., Bluetooth is off), I replaced the batteries, and I’ve tried to go through the setup-a-new-remote flow on the S2 app a few times.  Any suggestions? Thank you.

Long time Sonos customer with many speakers.  Added an Arc recently but there is no output from speakers (sub, surrounds) in the same room with the Arc - neither (full) music nor surround (dolby digital).  The same speakers work fine in another room, including with a Playbar instead of the Arc or when added to a different room and grouped. Diagnostic:  1191244377

A weird one, but we use the Google Assistant on our Sonos One to regularly set timers, but now - no matter what time we ask for - it only sets a one minute timer. So in response to "hey Google, set a 10/20/30 minute timer", we get "1 minute timer starting now" We can ask Google to add to the timer, and it does this absolutely fine, but the initial request just isn't working. Oh and if we ask it for a 1 hour timer, it sets that up fine too. Has this happened to anyone else? Anyone know a fix?

Updated software (13.0) on Beam and sound not working connected to Samsung TV via ARC. EasyLink on TV is still switched on. The Sonos App writes that Easy Link is not switched on.

I just bought a Sonos Arc soundbar. I connected seamlessly to the network. When I connect it to the TV, the TV says “Sound System Active and switches to that output, but no sound comes out of the soundbar. The TV is approximately from 2011, it has an HDMI Arc Port, it does have Sonos Arc listed among HDMI devices. It has the latest firmware form 2014, Sonos has the latest update too. I tried the disconnect/reconnect steps, set the audio format to PCM. I normally use an android TV box, but just to make sure that wasn’t the culprit, I disconnected it and plugged the antenna cable straight into the TV, still no luck. The connection within the Sonos app to the TV fails, which is probably the reason for the issue but I don’t know how to fix that...Any thoughts on what else I can try? Thanks,Gaetano.

Hi -- I have an S1 Sonos Connect that is connected to my Atmos compatible AV receiver.  Tidal has Atmos music but when I stream Tidal through the Sonos app, it doesn’t come through my sound system in Atmos.  Anything I can do?

I just joined the free trial of Sonos Radio HD, and I have a question. How can I listen to any of the exclusive Sonos Radio HD stations, like “Radio Chemical”, in my car via Apple CarPlay? If that is not possible, is there any other way like Bluetooth or AUX cable? Thanks!

Is the alignment of the speaker platform and the base of the Sonos stand fixed? i.e. can the platform be rotated perpendicularly or any other angle to the base? Thanks.

I have an LG Nano Cell 90 with HDMI Arc out to a Sonos Arc and have a Sonos sub, when I shut the tv off after about a second or 2 the Arc will pop. I can't seem to correct the issue, any advice and tips are appreciated. It is SUPER ANNOYING!

Hey Folks. Wonder if anyone can help.I restarted / turned off my router a few days while I was away, and since I came back and turned it back on, Sonos isn’t found ‘We can’t connect’ to the desktop app. But works perfectly on android on my mobile app. This doesn’t make much sense to me.

Hi, I am thinking about mounting two Sonos one surround sound rear speakers. Do I have the option to mount them horizontally? They will be mounted about 8' up on the wall and mounting them horizontally will allow me to conceal the majority of the wall outlet they will be plugged into. I do not however want to detract from the surround sound quality.  I see that the Sonos One wall mount allows for horizontal mounting. Thank You,

I’ll try to explain it with as few words as possible. This is a new house and the speaker wiring wasn’t optimal and I’m looking for a solution.Room  1: Open Kitchen + Family room (Family room is an open floorplan with the kitchen.) There’s a TV above the fireplace w/ cat6 & amazon fire. Speakers: There are speakers in the kitchen ceiling that are connected to Room 2 (Main Home Theater room w/ AVR)What components / setup would I need to purchase such that I can play the sound from the TV in Room 1 (from the TV to the Kitchen) even though the speakers are wired into Room 2. I’m willing to do some attic work if I have to; however, does Sonos offer a setup that would solve my issue?  Example: Sonos Connect + Sonos Amp + Playbar? I honestly do not know and seeking this communities help for guidance.Thank you.

Hello!I have 2 sonos one which i struggle with.I want to use my google hub to (Voice) control the two speakers. I want the two speakers to be synconized, so that i Can hear the same music in both rooms. How do i do that?

I have a Sonos Beam in my bedroom and a Sonos One in my office.  If I am listening to music in my office and my wife asks Alexa something on the Sonos Beam, my Sonos One mutes.  How can I fix this?  This doesn’t seem normal.

Can the Sonos Amp run dual mono mode with one 8ohm speaker on the right channel (Mariner 54) and two 8ohm speakers wired in parallel on the left channel (Sonance LS4T)?

Hi,I just purchased the port and I am pretty satisfied with it.  Currently my setup is an older Dennon Avr-3803 which is powering two front in wall speakers and 2 rear in ceiling speakers. I do not have a center channel in which I was thinking about getting the Arc.  My tv has the HDMI arc connection for it but I am wondering how that will integrate with my AV receiver.  Will I have to use two remotes to  get this to work? One remote for the Av receiver which has optical connection for the TV which powers the in wall speakers. Then another remote to power the Arc?

Does the Pro-Ject T1 SB Turntable have a pre-amp connection? I want to connect the turntable to play it through my Arc - without having to buy more speakers like the Sonos5. Do I need the Port to do that?  The Pro-Ject T1 SB turntable says that ‘It has Outputs - RCA Phno/Line (switchable) - high quality Connect it E RCA Phono cable’  Do I need to physically connect my Arc to the Port (ie Turntable connected to the Port / Port Connected to the Arc - then I can play music?). My Arc is already connected to the back of my TV and the only added connection no the back of my Arc looks like a cable line modem connection.  Do I connect my Arc to the Port via the cable/line modem connection? Thanks - very confused!Kevin

Hi, The past week I spent 2 hour with great customer care of Sonos to reconfigure my system on the new mesh network with eero system. Eero does not allow to split between 2.4 and 5 gHz. After 1 day the configuration seems lost and i cannot see the devices in the app while I'm connected to eero. Instead I can see them if I switch back to the old wifi network. Pls halo to fix!

I have a Sonosconnect wired to an amp and speakers, but the volume is very low, even when set to max on both the amp and Sonos amp. The amp / speakers work fine with other source inputs (eg TV).
