My arc is set roughly 750mm off the ground and 5 inches from the base of the T.v both are mounted on the wall. Sonos arc wall mount is used.. When seated on the sofas the sound I get is not as good as when standing... Do I need to lower the arc.. Thanks

Hello,Today I started to have a problems with my Sonos system.I have 2xOne, 1xOne SL and Beam. I don’t know how it was happend but I lost all my configuration.So, I did factory reset in all devices. Reinstall Sonos app on Android and iOS.And I just can’t connect all my devices. I can connect one of them and that’s it. When I’m trying to connect next device the message “We couldn’t find any Sonos products on your mobile device’s network so we can’t set up your Sonos One. Please try again later” is displayed.My ID 129241624I think I need some helpRegards 

I use my Sonos One to play mp3, wav, wma tracks ripped to the C: on my laptop. For some reason, many of the tracks display incorrect artwork when playing. For example I am looking at Karen and Richard Carpenter whilst listening to Mark Knopfler.Any suggestions please?Thanks,PeeWee

I don’t even know where to start.  It started with the Beam not showing up on my system.  I’d unplug and plug it back in and it would be ok for a few hours, then gone again.  Had to do a factory re-set and re-add to the system.  Then went the Play:3, fixed by unplugging and plugging back in.  Then the paired Play 5’s, which took nearly 2 hours to get re-added after several failed attemtps.  Now, my Arc/Play1s/Sub in the home theater are gone and the 5s are gone again.  I’m at a loss.  I’ve done a factory reset on almost everything.  I’ve re-booted the router several times.  This all started after the last Sonos update.  Any ideas?  

Hi all - Drawing a blank on this. I have a large Sonos setup and am finishing a kitchen reno with wired sonance speakers. I wired two in ceiling and two in wall. They have separate amps in my comm center so I could separate the zones. I was planning to use the two in wall as surround for my Den TV. That TV will be connected to a Beam. This is obviously separate from my Comm Center.  Can I use the in-wall as surround, even though the TV isn’t plugged into an amp? I will also have a Sub set up with it. The In-Wall are running off a newer generation amp. Should I have run an HDMI cord to my comm center when the floors were open (too late now)?  

Iam currently using version 12.2.2 and was working until yesterday and today it stopped working with a message 'unable to connect to sonos, learn moreI have tried to reset app, reconnect the playbar, sub, play speakers but nothing changed, this ain't the first time this is happening. Could someone help pls???I'm using wireless router to connect and still the same issue and it's bloody disappointing and annoying!!!

Hi all, So I purchased the LG OLED55GX and was really keen to set it up. However, I'm gutted that it's currently not connecting to my Sonos arc. The cables are plugged in to the correct slot (E-Arc). On the TV, it says that nothing is plugged into the second HDMI port. On the app when I go to setup, it says HDMI arc not detected. Has anybody experienced this and come across a fix? Many thanks, Adam

If I ask Sonos Move “Alexa what is the weather” it works fine along with whatever other questions I have.But if I ask it to play my Favorites…  It will say “Playing your favorites”  then silence.   It seems to locate my favorites because it says it…. but plays nothing.  It was working before, but started acting up so i had to reset it and reconfigure it all over agian. No I can’t get it to play my favorites.  Note: this is the playlist I have for Alexa.. when asking an Alexa device it works fine.  Any Ideas?

I set up my brand new Samsung 2020 Frame tv and brand new Sonos Arc and Gen3 sub three weeks ago and I can’t get the arc to stay on properly using the HDMI eArc inputs.  It randomly will stop working and sometimes sound will go off for just a second, then back on again.  Unplugging the arc, cycling the inputs on the TV, or going into the expert sound settings on the TV and toggling some buttons does get the sound working again- but who wants to do that sometimes 5 times an hour?  It appears to me that the Samsung TV intermittently has trouble recognizing the arc.  When in the expert sound setting and watching the connections- the TV will sometimes toggle between HDMI and HDMI e-Arc.  It has been so frustrating that I have just started leaving the arc turned off and use just the TV volume. I have read all of the online answers that have been posted and tried all the suggestions.  Just to clarify:This issue has not been resolved. Updates from Samsung and Sonos have not yet fixed the issu

Can I purchase any fibre optic cable for my playbar? I need something longer. 

Hi everyone. I’m logged into my Sonos account with no problems, but no one else in my home can use their own logins on the service. Only my account is recognised. Is there anything we can do? Not even getting a drop down to see other Spotify (for example) accounts.In addition no one else can add their Spotify or other accounts on their devices because the Sonos app demands that they sign in with my Sonos account first. Surely it’s not supposed to work like this?

I have my Samsung TV connected directly to my arc via optical cable.  Can I use the TV as a sound input to my other Sonos speakers (and port/amp locations) that are spread throughout the house so that I can listen to one TV everywhere in my home?

Sonos doesn’t connect from iPhone but dies on other devices. Tried deleting app will connect on Ethernet. Wifi same and settings match Sonos.

I have got a move that works flawless and now i invested in the Arc.After connecting the Arc to my TV which was easy peasy, i find that when the TV is shut off the Arc is no longer visible on the Sonos app or in Spotify. So unless the TV is on i cannot use the Arc to playing music.What am i doing wrong here ? is it that the Arc cannot work without the TV being on or am i missing something.Hoping you can help.Kind regardsCarsten

While the sub does work when paired to my One located in my office, when I try to pair it with the ARC in living room, it shows (Living room - ARC + sub) but does not work. I’ve reset it, hard wired it, tried to hard wired the ARC and all results are the same...sub plays when switched to office but not playing with ARC in living room, for which it was intended to do. Please asssist

Sony 900H TV with Arc. Simple system.Chronic intermittent audio drop out. 3 longs support calls with no solution. Really?Sonos had me:Send diagnostics; Reconfigure router; Change HDMI cable; Power down Sonos and TV; Change HDMI cable again; and Clean HDMI ports.Still have random audio dropouts. Sometime audio spontaneously returns, sometime must turn off and back on. Really? With so many reporting the same problem for 6 months, why no solution?

I say something like "ok Google, play Radio 4" and it responds saying "Playing Radio 4 on TuneIn" or I say "ok Google, play Bruce Springsteen" and it responds saying "alright, playing the Spotify playlist called This is Bruce Springsteen" but then does not start playing in either case. I check the system by saying something like "ok Google what time is it?" And it always responds to that correctly. Very occasionally it works and starts playing the music but more often than not it doesn't. I have tried:Disconnecting and reconnecting my Spotify accountDisconnecting and resetting up Google Assistant on the SonosSetting my default device to play from in Google Home as the Sonos OneChecking my default music service in Google Home is Spotify

One of my speaker pairs (Play 5, gen 2) went off line and I am unable to get it back up. I am now at the point where it is saying it needs to join a Sonos Wifi but it is unable to. I don’t recall this being an issue when I originally set up my speaker a few years ago. How can I get it to join the temporary Sonos wifi so I can finish getting this speaker online?  

hello therei have just created a google mesh wifi (not google nest) and now want to connect my Sonos system to that, my problem is in order to change wifi network i have to plug an ethernet cable in to the new network router which in this case is the google mesh, but the mesh only has one port which is to be connected to the main internet router, so basically Sonos is not compatible with Google mesh ? can someone help me pleae, i go in to network settings on the app and the only wifi network it sees is the current one/old one which i no longer want to use for wifi. many thanks

I have two play 5s (gen 1), one play 1, a playbar and a sub. I’ve just put in a new WiFi router because of other issues and had to reinstall all my Sonos speakers. All speakers now work but strangely my playbar would only reinstall with an Ethernet connection and a hard reset. It works fine with tv and sub which is the important thing, but once Ethernet cable is removed it does not appear in my app. When cable goes back in it still does not appear. It only appears immediately after a hard reset (holding button down when plugging in and adding as a new product), reinstall and the cable plugged in. It’s as if it can’t connect wirelessly anymore and once the is cable removed the first time it stays invisible to the app (tv still works fine). There were no issues previously. The router has the same password as previously. Any ideas to make it reappear on my app again?! Thanks in advance  

Is it possible to listen to music on your sonos speakers AND use your amazon echos as additional speakers at the same time?   I have 5 sonos speakers and 1 echo and am able to ask alexa to play music but it will play on either the 5 sonos speakers or the echo….i can’t seem to get it to play on ALL the speakers….it is an endless either or no matter what I do.  Any guidance would be so appreciated.  

Hi,I cannot change the alexa acount in sonos one speaker. The alexa system at home recognise the speaker an can manage it, but when I ask to the sonos speaker itself it doesnt recognise the house services as the speaker itself keep on working with a different account.I have tried to remove and reinstall everithing, alexa apps, related music apps, skills,...and I have removed the the sonos amazon device registry also, but everytime I  try to change the sonos alexa voice service (through the sonos app) to the account I use at home it automaticaly comes back to the former alexa acount.thanks a lot for any help that will be very welcome.  

How come the choice of the type of music has disapeared in the latest update ? when you go to explore, all the playlists are jumbled together, so if you are in a classical mood vs a blues mood, you’re f...ked….   

I have the ARC and a pair of Play:1’s as surrounds.  ARC is connected to my Samsung QE65Q8FAM arc port.  I am able to see Dolby ATMOS in the S2 app when watching ATMOS enabled movies from my Sky Q UHD.  However when I playback a Dolby test tones file the height speakers sound come out of the Play:1 surrounds not the ARC bar. When I disable the surrounds then the sound comes out the ARC.  Is this normal or is there an issue here?
