I have a Sonos Playbar, two Sonos Subs, and two Sonos One SL’s. Sounds absolutely amazing. BUT, I want to integrate my Amazon Echo Speaker community to it. I have made previous significant investments around the house and want to be able to utilize the multi room music feature through Alexa and integrate the Sonos and Other speakers. I have previously purchased a Bluetooth transmitter/receiver with a fiber optic output in attempt to trick the Sonos system into recognizing it as TV fiber input. Yes, it did work, but the timing was off, and even with the ability to adjust the milliseconds, I could never get it right.  So, does the Sonos Connect, Sonos Port, or Sonos Amp allow for this to happen? If not, has anyone ever been successful in making this happen?

New to this forum. Greatly appreciate your guidance. I recently purchased a Sonos Arc and two Ikea/Sonos bookshelf speakers for surround on my Samsung Smart TV 6-series.   I already have an older Sony Subwoofer which connects via Bluetooth.  Is there any way to add it to my system? Or is there a way to directly connect using optical audio or another option?

I have an Arc on order.  I am about to order a new TV and wondered if this issue has now been fixed or are there some TV brands to steer away from?

I have a room with a TV surround sound system. So playbase, sub and two rear play one speakers.I now want to add a project debut esprit sonos edition turntable which comes with a built in phono pre amp.My question is how best to connect it to this system. I could buy a Sonos 5 speaker which would connect directly and then link by WiFi. However is there a better way? And would having a Sonos 5 in this room disrupt my TV surround sound system or improve it?

I have attempted to reconnect my gen 2 Sonos 5 in every way that I can see on the suggestions. Powered of internet, connected to Ethernet cable etc. The speaker has been in the same location for months with daily use and just became unpaired with another Sonos 5. Will work after connecting to Ethernet and then unhook But only if sitting right next to Router. I have a Sonos Connect and a Yamaha AVR along with a JBL SP120II subwoofer. Right now I have the Connect plugged directly into the JBL Subwoofer’s RCA In and it sounds really good when paired with my (2) Play:1’s and (2) Play:3 speakers in a Stereo Configuration. If I plug the JBL Subwoofer into my Yamaha AVR using the AVR’s Subwoofer OUT and then connecting the Connect to the AVR’s Fiber Optic in I am not getting as good of bass in that configuration and I am not sure why. I have gone through all the settings in the Yamaha AVR and everything looks properly set. I was thinking that when I get my new TekTon Mini Lores this week I would hook them to the Yamaha but leave the JBL subwoofer connected directly to the Sonos Connect’s RCA out. If I did that would I be able to also connect the Sonos Connect to the AVR via a Fiber Optic connection and have it send the Audio out of the Sonos Connect and the Yamaha at the same time? My other concern with that option is how would I independently co

I'm using Chromecast with Google TV with a Sony Bravia TV and a Sonos Beam. Using Chromecast's remote settings, I've set up the volume +/- keys for controlling the Beam's volume. Technically, this works. But then, all of a sudden, out of nowhere, it stops working. I can restart Chromecast and nothing changes. The only way to fix this is to restart the Beam (unplugging its power chord and plugging it in again). Then everything is working again, for some time at least (anything between half an hour and a couple of hours).I initially thought it had to do with that I used a different audio source with the Beam - but it also stops working while simply watching TV. It is extremely annoying.Does anyone have any idea? Thanks in advance.

Hi  I just bought the Sonos ARC and Sub Gen 3 and went through the set up process and tuning with my iPhone.  The bass sounds great but the dialogue is very weak.   Will be there an upcoming software fix for this?  I’m debating whether to return before the 15 days…  your guidance will help with my decision

I know others have this issue.  (going on 4 years for me) is there a resolution or am I just wasting my time with Sonos products working with Alexa playing music?  I don't want to throw anymore good money at this problem.  the speakers sound great and I love them but the main purpose is to stream music with Alexa and it is just too frustrating.  I play instruments and like to play a song on Sonos to learn and it just isn't efficient to restart song after asking to play.

Hi I’m a little frustrated here and I can’t believe this is how the “system” is supposed to work. I have an Epson projector (no internal speaker) coupled with an Apple TV 4k. Up until recently I hardwired my stereo to the projector and everything was rosy. Last week I bought a Sonos 1 Gen 2 to use for the audio and it’s been ridiculously frustrating. I connect to the speaker using the control center on Apple TV and picking the speaker. Frequesntly I have trouble connecting the speaker to the Apple TV and when I do there are several issues (everything is fully updated): 1)No system clicks from the Apple TV. It’s completely silent until I start playing a video or watching something. 2)The volume control is erratic. Sometimes it connects fine sometimes it doesn’t. Sometimes it shows the volume graphic on the screen sometimes it doesn’t. 3)Today I tried playing a game, Asphalt 8, and there isn’t any sound at all even though the sound when playing a video from Netflix, for example, works fi

I returned my 3x Symfonisks to IKEA but I didn’t get the chance to reset them because I wasn't sure they would accept my refund request but I’m glad they did. The speakers are still listed in my Sonos account though. Is there any way to remove them?

Title pretty well sums up the problem. I’ve been playing music through the JDT Rocket Player on a Galaxy S21. I’ve done some substantial updating of my library played via Rocket. None of these updates are showing up when I select to play music from my local device.I tried rolling back to previous version of the Sonos app as recommended on a previous string addressing this problem. Chrome is preventing me from installing the download.Any suggestion would be most appreciated.Dan Taylor

I have this same issue as listed in many other questions- but none give a solution ...except contact Sonos help? Surely there must be some sort of fix. I have downloaded the app. My computer recognises both Sonos speakers- but the Sonos App cannot find them?! The speakers and this computer are on the same wireless network. I have turned off firewalls, I have turned off vpn, I have turned off and on my router and this computer. No change. Sonos system is not new. Just trying to connect to new computer.

Last week Pandora kept dropping off after a few songs or so. Today I get this error message.  Pandora says they have no outages - any ideas as to what this is all about?  Would be a paying subscriber make these problems go away?

how can i tell which generation of Sonos Five i have. i have the serial number but cant seem to confirm whether its a gen 2 or gen 3

Hello, I am getting the following error when I try to add my Sonos One SL I purchased today to my ARC + Sub Gen 3. “There was a problem adding your surrounds”. My network is Ubiquiti (router is UDM Pro, the APs are FlexHD). All my devices are in the same VLAN.I have reseted the SL speakers and adding them to my account again, adding as surround multiple times, restated all my network devices, restarted my ARC and Sub.  Nothing has worked at all when I am trying to add them to my ARC.The One SL did join the WIFI and I can stream music to them individually (using AirPlay for example). My ARC and SUB gen 3 are connected by Ethernet. Both of the Sonos One SL are setup wireless. Also, after trying to join both speakers and getting that error, it does list them as surround but it doesn’t really work. Here is my diagnostic confirmation number: 1540609632 I grabbed the diagnostic right after the failure.

The Sound disapears periodically on a LG tv (not the Oled your other answer relates to). sound is connected through hdmi-arc. help! Really annoying on a new product.

I have a Mac mini which had the Apple Music (formerly iTunes; I am not referring to the subscription service by the same name which I also have) set up as the Music Library. I had some version of this setup since 2013. My Sonos components are grouped into five zones, two of which are Soundbar, two Play:1 as surround, and Sub; the other three are two stand-alone Play:1, and a Move. All are on 12.2.2 (build 61183220) except the Move which is I note is 12.2.4 (build 61185090), but no updates are available. The Mac mini is running Catalina 10.15.7; it has some security updates but no major updates recently as that is of course now Big Sur, which isn’t supported on the Mac mini I have. The Mac mini’s primary function is as an AV unit so it is connected to a TV, and about two weeks ago while watching something I noticed the Sonos app bouncing, reporting it could not update the Music Library. I then noticed it was doing this every day, with the 2am update presumably having failed. So, I delet

Curious to know if any update from a stream posted a year ago regarding Sonos App allowing to select multiple languages for Alexa Assistant on Sonos Beam. Alexa app allows for echo devices to have this option i.e English and French - but no apparent way to do this via Alexa app to touch Beam settings.

I have the beam and rear play ones.  I’m interested in getting the sub BUT, my wife hates loud sounds and I live in an apartment. I know you can adjust the bass levels so my question is , will the minimal bass setting sound “ok” for my quiet environment.  I don’t need loud explosions.  Just need to add a slight bass punch to my current setup.Or would i better off getting the ARC for improved bass.  The only bad thing is that the room is not a traditional 4 wall space.  Its kind of wide open behind me and to one side. Thanks

Hi, I am a novice at tech stuff and new to Sonos, so go easy on me!  I have a Sonos PlayBar, Play1 and Sonos One.  Just bought an Audio-Technica bluetooth turntable LP60XBT.  Can I use bluetooth to connect this to my general Sonos system?  After reading many comments in this community, I am gleaning that the answer is no, except for the Sonos Move.  But using the Move will not connect to the rest of the system when it’s receiving bluetooth from the turntable?    Thanks in advance for suggestions!

There is something seriously wrong with Sonos support.  My Play One failed after less than 4 years and I had to purchase a replacement, with a small discount.  It was a painful process just to log the issue, then the replacement was delivered 10 days late, and only after I called several times to chase and escalated it.I now can’t return the faulty item as the link to send it back has expired as the delivery was late, and after I chased Sonos have sent 2 seperate emails from 2 different couriers, both in foreign languages. I logged a formal complaint a week ago and have had no response from Sonos who told me to email them at support@sonos.com.  In fact I’ve sent 13 emails to support@sonos.com and have had zero response; I’ve called Sonos many times and have been told that the emails have been recieved, but nobody replies.  The case was escalated (again) yesterday but still no contact from Sonos.  How can I contact Sonos to complain, which doesn’t involve support@sonos.com as it will be

Hey google play the highway on sirius XM.. Answer: sure, playing the highway on Sirius XM.. sorry it looks like Sirius XM isn't currently supported on the livingroom (Sirius XM is linked in both google assistant and Sonos S2) Hey google play Christmas musicAnswer: alright, Christmas hits on YouTube music, playing on livingroom.. sorry I can't find what you asked for. (YouTube music is linked in Google assistant and Sonos S2) My google mini has no problem with either command. My google Sonos speakers respond as above. My google best hub which has my Sonos speakers set as it's default audio device responds as above.. so it's the playing on Sonos part that fails.  Anyone have a solution ?

Please give us the ability to schedule when night mode should be on and off. It’s very easy to forget turning it off the day after use. I had it on a few weeks by mistake before realizing it and people were unimpressed by the sound of my Beam.
