Hi guys,I've tried google for the answer but all of them couldn't answer my question. I've bought a pair of Sonos Era 100 recently and would like to use it for my desktop setup (in my bedroom) via bluetooth. I use my L for the main speaker for the bluetooth connection and set up the R in the Sonos App and made it a stereo set. However, whenever I'm watching a movie/listening to spotify music, the R speaker keep having the issue of breaking off for like 1 sec and reconnects back but the L speaker works just fine.I've tried reset, unplugging and waiting for 10s and none of it works. The closest answer I've found online is move the speaker closed to the bluetooth source, which is my CPU and its directly next to my R speaker.Any inputs are welcome, thanks guys!
Playing music on my Roam is a very frustrating hit and miss thing. Sometimes it works, but more often it doesn’t. Never had this problem with JBL bluetooth speakers. It works great on wi-fi, but not when travelling. It shows the connection on my phone and music is playing, but no sound comes out of speaker. I have turned off speaker and un paired and re paired in many different instances and still no go. I can’t figure out what I do differently when the music actually plays. I am using this only when not in my home with the wi fi connection. Anyone have similar issues? Have any fixes?
We have recently moved house and tried to set our our various Sonos speakers again but are having trouble with one of the Move’s. We can get it working correctly for 2 or 3 seconds but then the volume drops down to 15 automatically and we can hardly hear it. If we put it up again the same thing happens. Any ideas ?
HelloI know this is a popular problem and while I ve tried many suggestions I still have havent solved it.I recently changed my wifi with a new modem router provided by my ISP. Now I am not able to connect to it, did the reconnect procedure on the app many times and it fails when connecting to the new wifi with error "Connection problem". The new wifi uses a single SSiD for both 2.4 and 5g channels. Not sure if this is related. I was able to reconnect all my devices on the new wifi (even some dumb AC controller device) but the move... Help appreciated!
good afternoon.I have two sonos roam (stereo pair) that I play via wifi.I could connect a third sonos roam, I understand that it would no longer be stereo, but in mono.thank you

Hello Sonos lovers!I have had my Move for about 2.5 years now, and love it. I use it almost every day for 2-3h unplugged, then return it to its base. On occasional weekends, we use it fully for around 8h or so (maybe more?).However today for the first time, it started running consistently out of battery after about 1 to 1.5h playing. But what is weird is that after only about 10min on its charger base, it shows 100% battery, which makes me feels something is fishy. Last time I put it on charge today it literally went: 2% 7% 9% in about 2 min, then I looked again 5min later and it showed 100%. Surely it doesn't charge that fast. It's as if the system thinks the battery is empty when it is not!Anyone has advice/experience with this? Thanks!
Hi, I bought a Sonos Move some time ago. I have been using with my Iphone using the bluetooth option and so far it worked perfect. This week I bought a second Sonos Move in order to pair both speakers and I downloaded the Sonos App. The new Sonos I just bought appeared inmediately but the first one does not. I have tried several things to fix it but nothing works so far.
So I had a Starlink 1st generation satellite in our previous home. I bought a Netgear router and was able to hook up the Move no problem. We sold the home with the Starlink. In our new home I bought a 2nd gen Starlink, purchased their ethernet adapter, hooked up the same Netgear router, and I cannot get the darned thing to connect. I split the 2.4 and 5 ghz channels and cannot connect to either one. I tried bypassing the Starlink router completely - still no luck. Each time I get as far as ‘There was a problem connecting yoru Sonos Move to “ “.
Every time I connect to the Roam using the Sonos app the LED turns blue on the Roam. Seems wrong? Seems the LED should be white on wi-fi, not blue.
I have $$$ of Sonos that I have purchased over the last two years. I frequently have minor problems. But, I have a problem often, as in weekly, with the Roam. At present, its fully charged and I can’t get it to work properly. It seem stuck in “Sleep Mode” or it says that it need upgrade but when I attempt to upgrade, I receive a error message after several minutes. This has happened several times before. I like the portability when it works but after a year I’m about to give up on the Roam or only use it for bluetooth.
My Sonos Move will not connect to the wifi all of a sudden and the microphone light is on. I tried the reset instructions in the app with no luck.
Making a new thread because none of the existing threads on this topic fix my issue.Got a new Sonos Roam yesterday. Tried to set it up, absolute nightmare (incidentally, all my Sonos set up experiences have been a bit disappointing, which is a shame because once set up, the products are great). Anyway. I can get to the stage where Roam tries to join my wifi network. After a while, it says:The connection to your Sonos Roam was lost. Move your mobile device closer and make sure Sonos Roam is powered on. My phone is right next to the Sonos Roam. There are no issues with the wifi dropping out. When I click continue, it prompts me to receive an audio PIN again (fine) and then when it starts flashing white and green tells me:Make sure the light on your Sonos Roam is flashing white and green, then press the button on it to continue.Light is fine, I press the button, but nothing happens. Eventually, then says:We didn’t detect a button press from your Sonos Roam. Let’s try again. Doesn’t matter
Hi,I think this might have happened since the latest update but now, when I use one of my battery portable devices off it's charger, the App seems to continuously show it's at 100%. Noticed it with one of my Roams, that I use a lot for listening to podcasts via Bluetooth from my phone. Will test another Roam just to make sure it's not specific to that device.Has anyone else noticed this? So, my other Roam has just now dropped down to show 99% so seems like an issue with the other one. I will try the other one again later to see if it continues to not communicate it's battery status to the App. Moderator edit: combined posts
My sonos move will pair with my PC and phone but no audio will play through the speaker. The sound level will move up and down in accordance with my source material but no sound. I believe it is an issue with the Move because it always happens when paired with my phone. I have already tried a factory reset and have the most recent update.
So i noticed a really annoying feature between the wireless charger and the wired. When i turn off the Roam on wired, it stays power off, until i turn it on manually by touching, which is perfect, since it will not stand there and be standby for no reason when i dont want to use. Or until i unplug/plug in the device again.I bought the wireless charger since i thought it would be more stylish. What i noticed is that even if i manually turn off the roam on the back while in the charger, after some time if will flick back on by itself. Why does this happen on the wireless charger and not the wired? It is super annoying since i bought the wireless charger because it should be better for the battery, but if it just keeps powering it on by itself, then it doesn’t matter :/Any way to fix this, or is this just a stupid mechanism not possible to avoid with magnetic charger?
My sonos roam appears in the app but says it is offline. I have tried everything to charge it and the orange light comes on when I connect it to usb-c. However even if I hold the reset for 15 seconds, 25 seconds, 5 seconds, the white light will not come on. Please help.
why can’t I listen to two speakers move in bluetooth mode at the same time?iphone usage as audio broadcasting system
I have two networks that I ‘move’ between. One is a Netgear Orbi network, the other is just a home gateway provided by my ISP. Everything works fine at home, but I can’t seem to connect to my Orbi network with the Move. It fails when I attempt to connect to that network using the Sonos app. I called Sonos support, and while I appreciate that the Sonos system is a “very complicated system”, I’m having trouble understanding how my computer, phone, tablet, etc don’t seem to have any problems managing literally 100s of other networks, while the Move requires a factory reset if you want to ‘move’ it to another WiFI network. Oh, it’ll do Bluetooth fine, but if you want to stream directly from your network, so the music will keep playing when you walk too far from the speaker, you’ll have to do that within the confines of your home network. Otherwise, get used to factory resets, and other BS if you want to ‘move’ the Move around.Come on Sonos, this is a ridiculous limitation. When can we exp
Even though the switch is ON in the app, the speaker can not be control by toutching the button, only via the app. ??
My sonos move wont recharge after battery depletion
Roam is permanently plugged in so always shows 100% batt. As soon as I unplug it and try to use it in another room it dies within 5 mins . . . Useless piece of kit . .
Finally after days & hours of trying to find a workaround regarding not being able to access my music library on my phone & tablet. Thanks to someone mentioning the App called HiFi Cast. Sorry did not get his name. But thanks heaps. Best answer!Downloaded the app. Opened the app & it showed my music library on my device.I then found some options by pressing the row of lines on the top left corner that showed one of them being my Sonos Play 5 which I pressed. Then I pressed the album I wanted to play & guess what. It works!I found this the most easiest & least time consuming than the other options of uploading music to clouds, Youtube music, Spotify etc. Trying to workout what a NAS drive is etc, etc I even figured out I could also plug in a bluetooth receiver into the 3.5 jack at the back of the speaker. But mine was a very cheap one which played the music but voice/singing was far too quiet. So I ordered a HiFi bluetooth receiver......... But looks like I may not n
I have 2 Sonos Roams with charging docs. I used them a lot over the last 2 years but they have been in the cupboard for about 6 months as I went for a smaller setup and didn’t use them that much anymore.I since got them out and now can’t get them to charge or turn on. The red LED does not come on when I plug them in. They are both completely dead. What are my options here?
