I have a Samsung Frame TV 2022, AppleTV 4k and a Sonos Beam Gen 2 connected via the supplied cable in the eARC port on the tv.  Things have generally been working well for the last 5-6 months, but today, I get no sound from it when watching TV--instead I get a machine gun-like ticking noise. (It doesn't go full volume like other posters have said). It should be noted that the Beam plays audio perfectly fine from the app. I’ve unplugged everything and reconnected it (i get the Sonos Chime on setup), to no avail. Support was not helpful.  The system diagnosis did not reveal anything. Any one have this experience? Possible Fixes?

Please be gentle, Tech challenged here.I have a smart TV, but an older model. It has 1 HDMI port. I have a SONOS Beam connected to the arc port. Roku is running on the HDMI port. I have a blue ray player with HDMI cable. How do I connect it to the tv so sound can play through the Beam without having to unplug cables?

Hi community members! I have a question about speaker groups and hope you can help. Here’s the scenario:I have my main home theatre set up (Arc, Surrounds, Sub) as one group called “TV Room”  I have an additional set of Sonos speakers in another group called “Dining Room” whenever I’m watching TV from the Dining Room area, I use the app to connect the Dining Room speakers to the TV room speakers.  I was wondering if there is a way to use Google Assistant/Alexa to do it via voice command rather than using the Sonos App. Thanks for reading, please advise!    

I have 2 Sonos ports connected to an amplifier. It looks like the Sonos ports always output some sort of audio line output so the amplifier doesn’t power off.  I have seen it off once but it is very rare.  Does anyone know what causes the Port to output voltage on the audio out or more importantly what causes it to turn off the audio output? examplesApp is connected pause or playanytime it is powered  I can’t really use the trigger as the amp only allows for 1 trigger and I have 2 ports. 

Hi. I’m having a problem with my Sonos Ray dropping audio while using the Youtube app through my Apple TV 4K.  The Ray is connected optically obviously as there isn’t another option and it seems to only drop audio with Youtube. However, the other day it did the same with Amazon Prime Video but that’s only been once.  We also have an LG tv.  Is anyone else having this problem?

Hi All,I recently picked up a Beam (Gen 2) and a pair of SYMFONISK to upgrade my home theater. Everything is connected and when playing sonos content via the app, I get sound coming from all of the speakers.When I connect my ancient (pre-2010) Toshiba 40xf550u, I’m not getting surround sound from my PS5 or AppleTV. The Toshiba has two options for sound PCM and Dolby Digital. I’ve selected both it doesn’t seem to have an affect. I suspect that the Toshiba isn’t capable of sending the Dolby Digital despite saying it can, at least for HDMI sources. The only thing in the manual about limits on Dolby Digital out is the generic statement:The DIGITAL AUDIO OUT terminal may not output some digital audio sources because of copy restrictions.Nothing in the manual indicates what those digital audio source limitations might be.  Is there a way t

I would like to configurate my new Sub with my existing Arch and Move. I tried through the app but bluetooth it doesn’t recognize it. When I plug it light is white, when I push longer light is blinking orange.Any help?

Hi Have read forums but am still struggling and apologies for the ramble but am hoping this triggers something. I have a Home Theater set up with Sonos Arc, Sub Gen 3 and a pair of SLs. All was working fine for a year and half or so but have been having problems since then. The rear Left SL used to keep dropping off the surround set up. I never managed to work out what was going on as it would either remarkably join, or I would do the old “reboot router” trick and that would sometimes work I put it down to the location in my room (I have an Orbi Mesh router with the satellite being in close proximity to the Sonos). I tried to swap the rear left and rear right round and all was fine for a while until the rear Right (the old left) SL disconnected. After reading some forums I connected the Arc via ethernet to the Orbi Satellite and all looked good! I checked the Orbi and based on the ip’s all four Sonos were wired to the Orbi.  The next today the rear right

I purchased a Sonos Beam Soundbar.  Several issues: [1] I cannot figure out exactly what model it is. Serial number is A100 C103CP 48-A6-B8-**-**-**-*. There's a prominent barcode BEAM1US2SDW which looks like maybe a model number[2] Please tell me what surround speakers and subwoofer are compatible.  Moderator edit: removed serial number

There’s been much discussion about clicks, pops, etc. Sonos will fix this, so I’m not concerned. I’m considering replacing One SL’s with ERA 300’s as surrounds with an ARC and Sub. Is it worth the investment? Do the ERA 300’s significantly improve the ATMOS experience?

I’m a bit raw to all this, in achieving optimum sound balance for Arc and two 300’s as surround speakers. I currently have my 300’s around 4 feet away and level with my Arc and sub mini at the front (until I get my floor stands). I watched a film in Atmos last night and wasn’t sure what volume level to have the 300’s set at. Whatever I did, nothing seemed to give me the up and around effect in helicopter scenes etc. I have the sub mini bass set on zero (due to bass from Arc and 300’s). Any ideas please? I’m aware that in surround mode, the centre speakers on the 300’s is weak; but even then the Atmos height and surround effects were weak. TIA.

I have a Sonos Arc with sub connected to an LG hdmi arc. When playing Netflix and Ps5 I get Dolby but when playing my IPtV I get pcm stereo. The movies I’m streaming have full high quality audio yet not get the best audio quality. Please help

Sub is connected but is not working. Trueplay doesnt complete - cant find one speaker - even though i can see all speakers connected but doesnt work.Sound does cut in and out. 966315147 is the diagnostics number.

Sonos app tells me that I need to hook up sonos amp t earc. But my arc is connected to the earc on my TV 

I’ve set up a Beam to our TV and we have 2 moves that are connected through the Beam.  The TV remote can control the volume for the Beam but will not control the moves.  We are wanting them to sync together so the tv remote can control all volume.  We have grouped the beam and moves, but the remote still only controls the Beam volume.  How do we sync them so the remote will control all devices together?

This is for an RV application. Which is certainly not ideal for sound reproduction.We’ve a 45’ Coach, and the front listening area is about 28’ x 12’ (Four slide in the coach, and when opened, the two front slides provide up to 12’ width for sitting and galley area.). The 50” TV and Beam are in the front of the cab, above the dash area. And due to side cabinets and no slides in that area, has about a 7’ wide area. Thus my comment about non ideal sound reproduction spacing to work with:)! Our primary purpose for the Beam, was to improve the Voice Audio, as the TV’s speakers are enclosed in the mounting cabinet. To say the lease, the TV speakers are severely muffled. And the Beam + Sub Mini, after Trueplay, really does a nice job for TV audio, and casual music reproduction. We’re not too concerned with Surround Sound, and the Beam/Sub Mini is more then sufficient for our TV and Movie watching.I’d like to improve the HiFi sound reproduction, primarily simple

Hi Got an sonos arc connected to an lg oled c2 83” and sound works fine.But when trying to set it Up with the app it fails and disconnects. Its when i get to the tv installation part it wants to Connect to earc hdmi port and it goes ”testing” and then the tv speakers gets changed to internal speakers and the soundbar reconnects or something because ”hdmi2 is avalible” pops Up on the tv the like i just connected the soundbar. and after that the app says ”not connected to arc!”   Ive tired turning off simplelink and on diffrent hdmi Cables tried both sonos and tv uppdated to newest firmware 

Hi.today I bought the beam 2.i have lg tv with arc (not earc) which I connected the beam to.also using the newest Apple TV 4K.on Sonos website it says that atmos can work with arc with Dolby digital +.but when I stream content which suppose to be atmos, it says on the Sonos app it’s Dolby digital 5.1.if it’s dolby digital plus it should write that?or it suppose to write atmos?am I missing something?thanks

I currently have a Sonos Beam Gen 2 with a Sub Mini and a pair of One SL as my Home Theatre System. How/can I integrate a Sonos Era 300 into this system as an additional speaker in the same room?

Hi,  I’ve recently added 2 of the sonos/ ikea speakers to my living room set up, having them as my rear speakers and a pair of ones as my front along with the play bar. Music sounds great but when playing films, the dialogue plays out of the bar and the two front one speakers. Any ideas con how to remedy? Cheers.
