This morning I tried to turn on my Sonos ace headphones and the power button does not work at all no response from it so I can't turn them on without plugging it in and then putting them on they work perfectly fine but the power button not working is kinda really not what I expected for 450 Euro's
As per the title I tried to get the audio from my turntable connected to an Era 100 over to the Ace but neither is the Ace even listed as a device to handover to nor can I handover from Era 100 to my Beam Gen2 and try to do a TV Swap? Am I doing something wrong or am I missing something?
Can I use the TV Swap to move the audio from a Beam Gen2 to the Ace and at the same time use the Bluetooth microphone of the ACE connected to a PC?
So i got my Ace headset around January and have been absolute loving them, the ANC is super sweet and the sound too. about a month ago i slid my fingers across the headband and noticed there was a sharp bumb, still not sure what it is, as i dont really wanna take them apart. My question is, if this is reason to send them back, ive been very careful with them as its an expensive piece of electronic for me, and im afraid the sharp thing will eventually pierce the headband.
I have had a couple of SONOS ACE and they all have the same problem, the audio in the calls. When making calls people can't hear me in the best way, it's as if the microphones didn't work the right way. The problems that the people I talk to mention to me is that they hear interference or that my voice is too low. I thought that with the new update this problem would be solved but no. I recently connected my SONOS ACE through the USB - C cable to my iPhone and the surprise was that the audio problem in the calls was solved, the people I talk to can hear me very well. My question is do you know how to fix this problem with the wireless connection? Or do you know if SONOS is working on fixing this problem? Does the same thing happen to you?
Hey - used Sonos Ace with my Arc Ultra 1st Gen to watch movies a lot and to date it’s been pretty good. Just done the firmware upgrade, switched on True Cinema and dialogue in action scenes in particular are really muffled. Even switching true cinema off doesn’t get me back to where I’ve been in the past. Anyone else finding the same?
TrueCinema is missing in the app. I've succesfully updated the Beam(gen2) and the Ace but I still missing the TrueCinema item on TV Swap menu.
Hi, I just got a brand new pair of Sonos Ace headphones. Connected them via Bluetooth to my OnePlus 10 Pro, running OxygenOS 15. Then downloaded the Sonos app and tried adding the headphones to it. The app finds the headphones, tries to set them up, then when the screen displays "preparing the Sonos Ace" it interrupts and says it couldn't add the ace and to check the Bluetooth connection. I've tried resetting the app, resetting the Bluetooth connection. Nothing is helping.
Where are the Sonos Ace release notes? I keep getting firmware updates but no release notes in the app or the website from what I can tell.
Hi.2024:Coming later this year, Sonos’ all-new TrueCinema technology precisely maps your space then renders a complete surround sound system for a listening experience so realistic you’ll forget you’re wearing headphones.2025 April:Will it be released this year. Regards. M
When will I be able to connect two Sonos Ace to one Sonos Arc Ultra?!?
Hi, Has anyone noticed there appears to be a bug with the Sonos app / Sonos Ace Noise Control functionality? Selecting the noise control options with the Sonos app on Android does not change the mode on my Sonos Ace headphones. The function can be changed directly on the headphones and reflects in the app when it changes, but it cannot be changed from within the app itself.
Hi, I just got my ace and I like it. But it has a small problem: it cannot remember the volume setting. Each time I turn on it and connect to my iPhone it will go back to 50% volume, not matter the level in the last use. My comfortable volume is 30% so I need to adjust it each time I use it.Do anyone know how to fix it? Thx.
Hi everyone, I just got sonos ace. I wanted to listen to quiet music in bed and realised they are too loud in the minimum volume setting.I have an IPhone and use Spotify for streaming, and couldn’t find any solution in my phone’s software. As I just bought them I updated them already, and it didn’t help.
Have seen lots of comments on this. Purchase the Sonos Ace headphones for my wife last week at the airport, and when plugged in to watch a movie, the sound is barely heard. This is using the USB C to 3.5mm cable. Good to know the issue isn’t isolated to me but not good to hear it might be a broader issue. Has a resolution been identified? Thinking it will be easier just to get a refund and buy the Sony WX5’s as this is what I use and there has been no issues. Main reason I purchased the Sonos Ace was because the Sony WX5’s don’t bluetooth well to the Sonos Arc on my TV and Sonos advised there is a known issue with LG, so best to the buy the Sonos Ace headphones. Go figure...
Hello, I cannot use my Sonos Ace microphone on online calls (Google meets, Microsoft teams...) when I choose the stereo sound output (which is the sound quality I prefer because the Hand-Free AG audio is not good), only my laptops audio is possible to use. I could use both audio output and headsets microphone on my previous Airpods pro, so i don’t understand why i cannot use them on my Sonos Ace.
Gemini AI says this is how to connect two Ace's to a TV audio output:If your TV has RCA outputs, connect them directly to the Sonos Port's line-in. Add the Port to your Sonos system and create a group including the two Sonos Ace devices. Will this work?
I have an issue with my Sonos Ace update. The Sonos app shows "Update Available," but when I tap "Update," it says, "Your Sonos Ace is up to date." This notification loop won't go away.I have already tried extensive troubleshooting, including: * Rebooting all devices (router, phone, Ace). * Reinstalling the Sonos app. * Performing a factory reset on the Sonos Ace.None of these steps have fixed the problem. Is this a known issue, and is there a solution?
I am going to put in a call to Sonos next week when I can. Just received my Sonos ace and when connecting to Sonos Arc volume is still very low even at 100%. Have seen all the discussions on how to may fix but still no resolution even after 8 months+ from release. This is shocking.. think I will be returning mine if this cannot be resolved quickly. Took advantage of the 30% off offer but now think this was too good to be true. Surely the tv swap should be flawless being the Sonos ace main USP! am I missing anything to resolve this issue? thanks
Sonos ace says there is an update in app, however the update splashscreen continuously polls and doesn't reach a conclusion. This is after an app reinstall, a headphone reset and on multiple WiFi and also 5g. Any users had similar issues.Android 14 Samsung s2280.20.33
Hi, Can i buy a new case?? I’ve left mine on plane when travelling. Ant
When connecting headphones via usb-c to my iPhone with usb-c I notice that the volume is a little lower than usual, even at the same levels as I usually use via bluetooth. When I open the Sonos app, and see the status of the headphones, I notice that the volume level of the headphones in the Sonos app is 2, and when I even try to raise it by sliding manually, the volume goes up to too high levels just by going up only one or two volume levels. The volume control of the device, ie with the iPhone buttons I understand that it is an independent control and therefore does not affect the volume displayed in the Sonos app. How would I go about listening through the usb-c cable to enjoy lossless audio without dying in the attempt or going deaf. It is super dangerous that the sound volume makes such drastic jumps and that the control is not consistent between the app and the volume of the device.
Hello,I just received my Sonos ace, I seen when i push or i adjust the left pod, like a « cut sound » or something like that.Is it normal or not ?Thank you
Just received my Sonos ace headphones, they are completely flat with no charge, and none of the USBC chargers I've tried will charge them. The orange ligh comes on, then goes off. I've even tried charging them from my laptop and my mobile phone, and get the same. If I hold the button in, the start up sound begins and then cuts off. I wish I'd researched these more, they're going straight back to Sonos, I can't even register them on the app to reset them, very disappointed 😞..
