My ace headphones auto-connect to my phone first and I have to manually connect to my computer. I have turned OFF multipoint because multipoint ended up causing more issues (with ace keeping audio on my phone instead of on my computer during a slack call).

Is there a way to prioritize devices for the ace headphones? First computer, second phone? I might end up unpairing my phone, but I do use them every once in a while on my phone.

I’m not home to view my Ace. However, if memory serves me right (regarding any BT enabled headset) there is no way to view its BT Stack as the Ace is connecting to a device vs allowing a device to connect to it.

There are three (3) solutions without having to reset the Ace:

  • Turn off BT on your phone
  • Take your phone out of range
  • Turn it off when connecting to your computer

I suspect the stack for Bluetooth goes by ‘FIFO’, so I would assume if you factory reset your Ace, and connect then first to your computer before connecting to your phone, the Bluetooth system should ‘find’ the computer first, if it is broadcasting. Of course, the Bluetooth on the Ace will remain connected to whichever device is currently sending a signal, so as @AjTrek1 suggests, in order to ‘find’ one or the other, the best option is to turn off the Bluetooth on whichever device you don’t want to connect to.
