Sonos Ace volume level when in swap mode

Just purchased (New) a pair of Sonos Ace headphones.

They go with my Sonos Beam Gen 2 soundbar, Sonos Sub Gen 3 and 2 Symfonisk surround speakers.

The swap function works fine but the volume of the headphones has to be at 94 to be sufficient for my usual listening preference.

I am not saying it is a massive problem but with some of the films I watch I find it hard to understand what the characters are saying.

This may be more a hearing problem my side, but surely their must be a work around to get a wider volume range?

I have updated all my products firmware/ software. In music and normal TV watching the volume seems fine. It is purely listening in swap with the headphones.

I like the headphones and can live with this third world problem, but any advice to make them better would be welcome. Many thanks

Sadly I have no idea how to increase volume level more than 100%, but I‘m sure the level strongly depends on the source material. Often TV stations or older movies use much lower volume levels.
So maybe there are options on your source device (TV, streaming box. BD player) that allow to adjust volume before sending audio to the soundbar.

Did you also do the headphone updates in addition to the App and speaker firmware ones?

If you did and still have issues maybe a reset of just the headphones and another update try for them?

Thanks I tried the reset but just the same volume level. Thanks for the feedback though, probably me and my hearing the problem.

I have the same issue with Ace headphones not being loud enough during tv swap. I’ve pushed the volume up as loud as it will go with the content key. Tv remote vol control has no effect.

The volume was low from when I bought the headphones compared to listening to spotify on my phone connected to wifi, but it seems worse since the latest Ace upgrade to the point where I’ve had to abandon tv swap because the dialogue isn’t loud enough.

Is there something I’m missing? A work around.

I’m connecting to Sonos Beam soundbar.

You state “Tv remote vol control has no effect”. On my system (Arc Ultra connected with eARC and Ace, working with a 2019 Samsung) the TV remote does control the Ace volume. Could this be the root of your problem?

The tv remote volume increaes the volume of the sonos beam when not in tv swap mode but in tv swap doesnt do anything. I can see in the sonos app that the headphone vol is 100% but its not loud enough. I want a way of increasing the volume of the source being the sonos beam I assume? Or maybe the tv arc volume.
