Volume on Sonos Ace

I had a very long exchange yesterday via chat as I am not getting the kind of volume I would like on the Sonos Ace when playing atmos music via the amazon music on my ipad. I also happened to mention that the volume on TV audio swap was low too. The Sonos guy then went through the process of increasing the volume on the TV audio swap which did work and I assumed rather naively that this would increase the music volume too. It did not and when I questioned this it was like I was speaking a foreign language as the guy then asked me if there was anything else he could help with I repeated my main issue i.e. the low volume on the headphones playing music and he told me to have a good day and terminated the chat. Any suggestions on how to increase the volume?

Hi @EddieRW, welcome to the Sonos Community!

I’m sorry to hear that you’re having issues with your Sonos Ace and that it wasn’t resolved with our support team.

Since you’re playing from your iPad, you won't need to use the Sonos app to start any playback or connect. Are you able to try a different music service or even try YouTube to see if the volume is also low? If it’s only low on the Amazon Music app, it’s possible there are some settings you can adjust in there. If it’s low everywhere, then I would suggest checking for updates for your Sonos Ace.

I hope this information helps!
