Get help and assistance with your Sonos system

Any suggestions as to how to make my Xfinity remote control volume work with my arc ultra sound bar?

I have just bought the Arc ultra and my trusty play ones are no longer compatible  as surrounds. I have bought some second hand Sonos ones to replace them. Is there such a thing as an adaptor plate for the stands so I can repupose them?

Need help from this group (and Sonos): I was on the phone with tech support yesterday trying to solve this problem: I have an Arc Ultra, 8 Architectral ceiling speakers in Family Room, plus two more in Kitchen (separate amps for each). If I watch TV, sound bar comes on when tv is on via hdmi, as intended. Volume is often too low while watching HBO, for instance, so I use the Sonos app to add the ceiling speakers while using the soundbar. That way, volume and sound is improved.Here’s the problem: if I turn off the tv, and then turn it on later, the group I made by adding the ceiling speakers is “remembered”, so the volume is quite loud on YouTube TV, for instance, when I select that app with the tv remote.The goal: when the tv gets turned on, the only speaker that comes on should be the soundbar. Sonos support advised to turn off “tv auto play” for the ceiling speakers and also turn on “tv autoplay” and “ungroup on autoplay” in the sound bar settings. The idea is that t

This happened 2 weeks ago and was resolved by unpairing 2 slone speakers. Since unparing all has been OK until yesterday 24/6/25, now the 2 set of alarms we have, have dropped, and worst of all cannot ser another alarm. Very frustrating as this is a major part of our Sonos setup. How do we get a fix?

I deleted all albums from my Amazon music library. Despite signing out of Amazon music and back in, removing Amazon music as a service and adding it back, turning my phone off and back on, clearing caches etc, the Sonos app still shows dozens of albums which were previously in my Amazon music library. Any ideas how to fix this greatly appreciated.

I recently started using my Sonos speaker to play music as I go to bed… setting the Sonos timer to shut down after an hour or two. Why does the speaker turn on a bright light from the speaker when it turns off? It has been waking me up...or did until put a kleenex box on top of the speaker. But, my question is Why did Sonos program the speaker to do that? It’s really annoying.

Anyone had similar issues with their Amp? Constantly emits a loud buzzing noise directly from the device, irrespective of lines in or connected speakers? So irritating I have to have it physically unplugged when not in use.

i have two sonos 5;s i have them in a small mens cave / bat cave ive noticed that the sonos mini sub is on sale and am seriesly thinking about getting it...since its a small room will the mini sub alter the sonos 5s sound output perhaps becoming more treble and allowing the mini sub to take over that duty...and if anyone has bought the mini sub for the 5;s do they say press the go button...will be looking out for any feedback ...thanks in advance

Good day. I have a system running 7 SONOS Port Media Players. Not attached to this account but another. The earlier Sonos app, S1 was used to configure and set up these players as a system, and the account signed in as owner, but after updating to S2, the account no longer lets me in as an owner. Is this a known issue? If so, is there a method around this besides starting from scratch and reconfiguring? Thank you.

Dear Sonos team,i upgraded from Arc to Arc Ultra and i am very pleased with the improvements that have been made in the sound quality, now the sounds are more defined and the "Sound Motion" represents a big difference in the bass compared to the previous Arc. I point out this thing that i noticed that in my opinion is an important aspect to improve, the volume of the soundbar. I also noticed this aspect in the previous Arc, the volume is too low when listening to some sources (for example some songs on Youtube). I also use a high quality e-Arc hdmi cable… Sometimes i had to increase the volume up to 60-70 to start hearing well and putting it at 20-30 it was practically silent. For example, with some films, the volume at 30 is calibrated well and in other cases it is low and i have to increase it up to 50-60. I think it need to find a volume range that is more uniform. I hope an App update arrives for this aspect.Good work

We have had a Beam 2 for a few years and all in all it's worked fine. That is until our Vodafone Router had it's firmware upgraded by them for another issue this week. During this process the router now will only offer a combined 2.4ghz /5ghz under one SSiD and there is no option to split them. All our devices connect at thier required frequency including the Beam however when I come to control it from my phone which is connect at 5ghz it get an error Could not play content. Try again. It shows the radio station selected but nothing happens either playing or pausing. Then it suddenly starts to play and I can then pause it from the app. I can stop it by touching the button on the Beam.So the only change is the router, is this likely to be my issue or is it a coincidence. I could get round it / test it by setting up a separate network with just 2. 4ghz maybe. 

I have tried all the fixes and nothing works. Has anyone had success? I am on a Mac and the only way I can play an itunes playlist is by using airplay. 

Is it possible to connect my new tv with an HDMI e arc port to a gen 2 connect amp?

For several months my speakers have been unusable.The android app crashes immediately on loading and has been updated multiple times. I no longer use this. At this stage I would just like to be able to play something on my speakers with the desktop app.The desktop app has virtually no options available and notifies me I need to update. It does seem to “see” the speaker but I can’t control it in any way. When I try this I always get the error 1101.I have turned off all of my 7 speakers except one play 1 which is cabled into my router. My laptop is also connected by cable to the router. It runs Windows 10.I have tried everything I can think of and everything I have seen on these forums. Multiple power off and on and ensured no firewall or other wifi settings are blocking the sonos application. It seems the application can never connect to the sonos server to perform the update. Hello,One of my two Era 300s has distorted audio. I initially had a stereo pair. When I noticed the distorted audio, to determine which Era 300 it coming from, I removed the stereo pair and that only one Era 300 had the issue. I tried a factory reset but sounds are still distorted. Any ideas or thoughts?

Hi everyone, I already have a SONOS Beam sound bar in my living room, and I want to add a SONOS Era 100 to it because the living room is connected to a open style kitchen. So, I want to know if is it possible to disable the bluetooth of the Era 100 and only connect to it thru the SONOS App, WiFi and Air Play 2. Does anybody know if it is possible? Thanks in advance, sorry if my English is not the best.

One of the connects is connected to my home theater receiver and the other is connected to a strereo receiver in another room with a turntable.  How can I get music playing on the line-in input to play on the other system?  Both are in the same group. 

i cracked my sonos one gen two open over the weekend once i determined it was dead. i did not notice any burned components so i tested the fuse for continuity. 0. soldered on a 5 amp fuse wire and retested for continuity. success. however, when i plug the speaker in, still dead. any other ideas ?

Hi, I have messaged about this before and you told me that you could see it was an issue for iPhone users only but that it wasn’t a priority. I’d really like it to be fixed, because after all this time it appears to me that it’s not going to be. The issue is that the when I try and ‘continue listening’ a BBC Sounds title it just starts from the beginning.  

In the app Apple Music’s logo just shows an ! I’ve reauthorised the service but still the same! Music plays from Apple Music by where has the logo gone 🥴🤔thanksMD

I have a SonoS One that has not been able to get power.  All the usual troubleshooting is done- multiple known working outlets tried, fully seating power cord, even trying  other known good power cords.   What else can be done to not have a paperweight?  This unit is most likely out of warranty. 

I've just recently upgraded to Arc Ultra with Era 300s and Sub gen 4 going from a Playbar, Sl ones and a gen 2 Sub. Im convinced that my old setup is way louder than the new system. I'm pretty disappointed actually 😕 true play actually turns the whole setup down. I'm familiar with the all the app functions and user settings Eq etc...just hasn't got that punch and loudness that the old system has.To fill in the room I'm putting up 2 Era 100s as a stereo pair and even then I will have a 75ms delay. Just gets worse for me. How can I increase the volume so I can match that of my old system?
