Connecting Sonos to Zen Mini music server

When I try to connect my Zen Mini music server to Sonos, I keep getting the error ‘Unable to connect to Zen Mini computer’.  This has started happening after updating the Innuos software,  And I have some internet traffic that connecting music servers is difficult with the Sonos S1 app, but I’m unable to upgrade this because my Sonos hardware (Connect Amp) is incompatible with S.  Anybody know any workaround solutions?

Could I ask you to give more information, please? What is a Zen Mini Music server, do you have a link?

Is your CONNECT:AMP running S1 or S2? S1 requires access via SMBv1, which most systems have made difficult to access, due to the inherent vulnerability of it, but Sonos is stuck with it in S1, there isn’t the space necessary to update it. It is likely that you may need to go into the settings, if this Zen Mini Server is an NAS device, and turn on SMB v1 (and NTML1) in order for Sonos S1 to ‘see’ the data. If you’re instead using S2, then SMB v2 or v3 should be fine.

The Zen Mini is music server that supports upnp mode and Sonos mode.

The Connect AMp runs S1

This is what I came up with on a search for this device, is it correct?

In general, connecting the line in RCA ports on the Analog output from this device would let it push music to the Sonos line in. Not convinced it’s an NAS on first glance, so while you could use it as a player to the Sonos line in, I’m not sure the Sonos system could access the music on its own.
