I want to be able to connect a microphone to my era 100. Can someone send me details of what I need to make this happen.

The Sonos line-in adapter (see the Sonos store) and a microphone pre-amplifier.
You are unlikely to be happy with the result, the 75 ms sound delay will make any use of it a challenge.

This is not recommended because there will be a time delay between the spoken words and output from the speaker.
You could experiment by Bluetooth connecting a phone to the 100.
