Get help and assistance with your Sonos system

Hello, I’ve been using the Sonos Arc for over a year and recently purchased a pair of Era 300 speakers.Initially, I set up each Era 300 in a separate room, but then successfully added them as surrounds to the Arc.Unfortunately, I'm now experiencing an echo in the sound output.Could you please advise on how to resolve this echo issue? thank you  

Each time I log on to the Sonos web app, I need to choose between two systems. One is my own (CA14), and the other one is from an old apartment (R50). However I cannot delete the old one - and in the mobile app it does not show up (if it did I could switch to it and then “forget current system”).Any advice? 

When I press the bluetooth button on the top back of the Era 300 speakers, they do nothing, no sound, no blue light. My Era 300’s are already setup with WiFi and work fine, but I am trying to connect them to my bluetooth on my Iphone, and am having no luck. Any help is appreciated. 

I’m trying to add YouTube Music to my account in the Sonos app as follows:Add YouTube Music. I already have an account. Add YouTube Music account Please use the following code… Authorize After I put in the code Google says success. I then go back to the app as it says to do on the google page and after a moment it says YouTube Music wasn’t added. Tried on multiple devices and it does the same thing on both.

Hello everybody,  I've read that others have experienced a similar issue. I installed my Beam and Sub Mini without any problems, but today there were some power outages. Since the system was on, it lost power three times, and now it’s showing a solid red light.  I’ve already tried unplugging and reconnecting the power, but when I turn the Beam back on, after some white blinking lights, the solid red light appears again.  I also checked the Sonos app, and the Beam isn’t showing as connected to my Wi-Fi — I only see the Sub Mini. I even tried connecting the soundbar to the modem via LAN, but nothing changes, and the solid red light persists.  Additionally, I attempted a reset by disconnecting the power cable and reconnecting it while pressing the rear button with the “infinite” symbol. However, after the light flashes, it ends with the orange color, and then the dreaded solid red light appears again .  😭Do you have any suggestions on how to fix this? I’d really appreciate your help!  Th

I am trying to update my 6 units (all S1) and now for the last 15 min I am stucked with the “updating” “getting started...”   “do NOT unplug anything during this 2-3 minute update” Units are blinking white and orange for the last 15 minutes. How long should I wait?Can I stop it?

I got my father-in-law to get the Sonos Ray for his living room and he loves it. However, recently the tv messed up and they went out and got a new one. The new tv doesn't have an optical audio connection and so I'm needing help on how to hook it up the the Ray. What adapter do I need? 

I have persevered with sonos, through alarms not working, to rubbish App updates! the only thing i actually had working was my SoundCloud Playlists…. i have friends that are DJs and they upload new play lists which seamlessly updated within the sonos app, and i was able to listen to them all without issue, that was until a hour ago! all my playlist that took years to create….GONE off the app? they are still on the sound cloud app (thank fully) but these lists have decided to go on a nice vacation to WTF!!! why is something SO basic.. the CORE of sonos So irritatingly unable to Play music and stay that way!!, you need a IT degree and half a day to speak to Sonos, and on each occasion, they never say,,, yes its our C*ap updates… or Yes we did something and its broken,, its ALWAYS your system, your internet, Your issue… if I could get rid of this system I would….2 fundamentals that dont work… listening to music and setting a alarm… in this day and age SURELY a company that sells SPEAKERS

Hello all, I’m on the latest version of the Android app and latest version of Plex but I have found that my Plex playlist “Most Recent Podcasts” (which is in fact a playlist of recent downloads of MP3 files from various podcast apps rather than a straight “podcast” feed) can’t be opened from “Recently Played” -- it gives the error “Something went wrong” -- but if I find it in Sonos Favourites under Playlists, it opens just fine. It looks like Recently Played doesn’t save enough information or the wrong information to open the list despite it working fine from the Favourites section. Has anyone else seen this? And can Sonos do anything about this?

Hey folks, does anyone know if the Arc Ultra paired with Play:1 “bug” still works and hasn’t been “fixed” by Sonos? If so, I might actually get an Arc Ultra and let my Play:1s continue to shine for a while longer. Thanks.

Hi I have Sonos Arc Ultra and Nintendo Switch 2 with latest firmware/software. The pairing works fine, and audio plays fine right after pairing. However, once disconnected, reconnecting from Switch 2 seems not working, until putting Ultra to pairing new device mode again (which is a cumbersome manual step). Meanwhile Arc Bluetooth with Steam Deck seems totally fine; and Switch 2 connect with other non-SONOS bluetooth with no problem either. Anyone has similar experience? Any idea what may fix this?

Do you have an expected release date of when I will be able to control the Sonos device volume using the Android volume up/down buttons on the side of the phone?  Seems like very simple/common functionality, I’m surprised it doesn’t exist yet.Right now I have to unlock the phone, go into the app then change the volume.  If I’m doing this wrong, or missing something please let me know.The app version on my Android is 80.22.28 - June 4th, 2025 - so it’s pretty recent.

I have a playlist on YT Music with over 150 songs. When viewing the playlist, I cannot see any song past 100. Instead, the playlist repeats song 1 instead of song 101. I can scroll through this playlist infinitely, forever stuck with songs 1 to 100. This has been an issue since the app update. Please fix.

In the past I’ve had trouble getting truplay to work with my iPhone 13 but finally figured out that because I wear hearing aids, evidently it was using the microphone on my hearing aids instead of my iPhone so it would never complete the process. Once I shut off my hearing aids truplay worked fine with my iPhone.Hopefully this helps if someone is having the same issue. 

I change my flat. I am trying to build system based on SONOS in living room: Arc+SUB+2xERA300; kithcen 2xONE; corridors: 2x ONE (all ones are in ceeling mounting); working rook 2xERA100, sleeping room BEAM gen 2, and move in bathroom. I use rooter from ASUS for mesh 2xXT9 and one XT5.  all the time sonos is having problem, typical is that sonos can connect to my WiFi but is not visible - did try to connect and disconect to power, but id doesn’t help. Multiple times did reset them.

I just had the shock of my life, when i was listening some music quietly on my SONOS Roam 2, when suddenly it starting making machine-gun-like “sound”/noice at full volume/loudness!…This really has to be fixed! Also found this case, which is not active anymore, which is why I couldn’t quote there: 

Hello, found an interesting thing today. I have an Arc Ultra with Era 300s, and a Sub Mini.I was using TruePlay with my phone and my Surrounds were super loud. Tried multiple different times as well. I know I can reduce the volume but I believe TruePlay is suppose to be set it and forget.Well, since I updated to the iOS 26 beta I was unable to use TruePlay on my phone so I used my daughters phone, downloaded Sonos and re-did TruePlay and it was so much better. The surrounds actually feel like they are at a reasonable level and everything feels much more balanced.Is it normal to have such differences?I have a 15 Pro Max and she has a 15. I love the sound so much better now.

Hello, My Sky remote doesn’t work anymore with my Sonos. My TV remote still works though. Tried setting up in the app but it says ‘’ we didn’t detect a signal from your remote ‘’. My Sky remote works ok with everything else just not my sound?

I have 2 Sonos era 100 connected to my Beam as surrounds and have added 2 more to the front. can I use my tv remote to control all as it only does the beam and surrounds?  thanks 

There has already been requests here in the community for Sonos app Live Activities feature. I’d be happy to have it as well. Having Sonos Ray for TV together with Era 300 (as a stereo pair) means I need to use my phone to control the volume for the both. Live Activities would make the process much easier. Samsung One remote connects to Ray only with IR (when connected to optical cable.) Does anyone here have another solution to control the volume without unlocking my phone?

Hi guys!I’m tryingto finalise installation of my ERA100 into a new system. The step after the PIN identification shows me to push the forward or backward buttons on the top of the speaker while the lamp on the front shines white and green.Unfortunately, when trying to push any of the above buttons nothing happens and the installation can’t be completed.What am I doing wrong?Thanks!
