is my original Sonos PLAYBAR dead? 2013

hi everyone, i just upgraded my tv and unplugged my 2013 playbar. it was working perfectly before, but now that i've plugged it back in, there's no power.

the only sign of life is a split-second flash of the three ethernet lights when i plug the cable into the back; after that, it goes completely dead. i’ve already ruled out the outlets and cables by testing them with other devices—the issue is definitely the bar itself.

is this a known hardware failure, or is there a trick to bringing it back to life? thanks in advance!

As suggested, you should submit a system diagnostic within 10 minutes of recreating this problem, and call Sonos Support to discuss it. Don’t post the resulting diagnostic number here, their lawyers get sensitive about GDPR.

There may be information included in the diagnostic that will help Sonos pinpoint the issue and help you find a solution.

When you speak directly to the Support staff, they have tools at their disposal that will allow them to give you advice specific to your network and Sonos system.

Can you see it in the app? Can you stream music to it? Can you generate a diagnostics report and speak to Sonos Support?

Nope. App cannot find the system. When I plug it in, the lights by the Ethernet connection flashes for a split second and nothing. I think it’s dead!
