Question

Spotify liked songs within Sonos App

I am unable to play my Spotify “liked” songs through the Sonos ap to my Sonos speakers. I can play all other Spotify features.

I saw other posts on this - with no real answer. Is this just a bug?  Is it because my liked songs list is 400+ or something else?

Thanks

Hello @Tdigitty, welcome to the Sonos Community!

I am sorry to hear you are experiencing issues listening to your Spotify liked songs playlist within the Sonos App.

I tried reproducing this on my own system but was unable to, Spotify liked songs playlist started playing without any issues.

What kind of error are you getting and is it possible for you to share a screenshot with it?

A couple troubleshooting steps:

  • Have you tried removing and re-adding the Spotify music service within the Sonos App?
  • Add the Spotify liked songs playlist as a Sonos Playlist within the Sonos App and try playing that?

As a workaround, you can use Spotify Connect and target your Sonos speakers via the Spotify App.

If the issue is still not resolved and the workaround is not enough, feel free to reach out to our Support Team for live troubleshooting.

They have tools at their disposal to provide you with information and advice specific to your Sonos system and what it reports.

I hope this helps.

If you go to the Spotify music service within Sonos, scroll down to Your Library section at the bottom, your “Liked” songs can be found under the header Songs.

In order to play “Liked’ songs via the Sonos app, you are required to have a Spotify Premium subscription.
