Sonos Radio after changing station show the new radio station logo but still plays the previous station

Well this is the case since the “ wonderfull”  app update the worst ever seen, it happens on all devices iphone, ipad, mac . If you change radio station to other station the app show the new station logo in the app, but it still plays the previous station. So station looks like it changed in the app but the actual stream  did not. You need to stop the station and start it again the get the right stream playing. This is a software error ! Again I have seen other remarks on the forum all closed so it looks it solved. IT IS NOT ! Sonos do fix it !!!!!! As customers we have already been confronted with enough amateur software to last a decade…… So do not come to me on Wifi settings and blame it on someone else. 

Maybe ask CHAT-GPT to fix it for you ?

I’m sorry to hear of this issue you are having with playing content from Sonos Radio, attempting to change that content, and continuing to hear the original stream.

I attempted to replicate this behaviour on my own system and could not. Therefore, I first recommend that you reboot your speakers and router. Please reboot the router by switching it off of for at least 30 seconds.

If that does not help, I recommend you get in touch with our technical support team who have tools at their disposal that will allow them to give you advice specific to your Sonos system and what it reports. Before doing so, please recreate the issue then immediately submit a diagnostic, reporting the given number to the support agent you speak to.

I have come across some more information - it seems we are aware of this issue and are investigating, though we have no estimate for when a fix might be put in place.

In the meantime, please either try selecting the station again in the app or choose your stations using TuneIn (New) rather than Sonos Radio (assuming you are playing third-party stations and not Sonos-curated ones).

Well it does not help and I do

use Sonos curated apps incl Sonos Radio  ( tune in) this issue is taking way too long to solve on your side . What annoys me most is first the advice to reset routers etc well my wifi is not the issue. It all works on  Sonos boost connected hard utp cable to the modem. So do fix it  !
