If you Airplay to a Playbase + Sonos One + Sub over WiFi, it will stutter.The only way to stop the stuttering is disabling Surround, which is quite inconvenient since everytime you switch to TV viewing you have to go to the app and enable it again.There are quite a lot of threads blaming it on the WiFi coverage, 2.4 Ghz and 5Ghz channels, even blaming the WiFi chips on the hardware. The only solution is wiring the ethernet in the Playbase, or as I have said, disabling the surround.Since Surround works with Library over wifi and the normal TV, it really looks like a software bug which could be easily fixed. I have several gen 1 sonos play5 speakers but  some have damaged mesh on the front. Is there a way or guide how to replace that mesh? Where can I find a replacements mesh?Any advice would be helpful.thanks.

I have issues with the sound sync on a certain channel (TV4) in Sweden when I have my Sonos system connected to my TV (Samsung S90D).  The problem is quite random and will usually appear after the commercial break. If I change channel and go back again the problem will disappear.  I have tried to use both Ethernet and WiFi connected to the Arc Ultra with a good connection but it is the same both ways. If I disconnect the HDMI cable from the sound system everything seems to be okay again. I have changed the sync settings in the software but the problem will remain.  Any idea what can cause this sync issue?     

I have Sonos Move speakers, they're not working. The LED is always solid red, not blinking. I already replaced the battery with a new one and it's still the same. I've tried several reset methods and nothing works. I really don't want to lose this speaker. Any recommendations other than buying a new one, okay?

Hello everyone,I have one group set up in my living room that consists of Arc Ultra, Sub , Sonos One SL’s for surrounds.    I also have two Sonos Era 300’s I bought for mainly playing music. (not going to use while watching tv).  When playing a song on Apple music i selected my living room set up and my Era 300’s the music starts but as soon as i try to move volume slider the music stops completely?  When I take off the TV set up and only play through 300’s, volume is fine to use?       Any ideas why playing over two groups my controls not working properly?

 I read a lot of complaints from new users about how difficult it is to add a local share containing their music.  I remember years ago when BlueSound used to look for shares on my network.  Then a list of those shares was generated with the proper path shown.  All you had to do was pick which shares you wanted to index.  For some reason BlueSound eliminated that feature.  Can someone tell me why a feature like that would no longer be implemented.   Seems logical that Sonos may want to implement a feature like this to make life easier for new users.  Of course what might make this moot is the fact that new users would have to have available shares on their network.  In my case shares on a backup NAS were available and BlueSound found that share along with others I was not aware existed.

Hi everyone, I use both Apple Music and I listen a lot to podcasts via Apple Podcasts. For Apple Music I most of the time use the Sonos App (because of the streaming quality and direct streaming). I’ve had my Sonos Roam SL for a few years now and surprisingly with no issues just minor quirks. Well, over the holidays I bought the dual port compact 35W Apple charger, and started experiencing some weird behavior. When I plug in the cable (I’ve tried a few genuine Apple USB-C-USB-C cables with the same result), the Roam continuously flashes orange. In the app, the Roam also shows a flashing charging symbol in sync with the flashing light. Interestingly, the Roam still charges to 100% eventually, but it keeps flashing the entire time. Most annoying of all though, is that if I turn the Roam off after plugging it in, it soon turns itself back on, as it would if you were to plug it in when it is turned off. So the power supply to the Roam just seems to be cycling with the dual port charger...My first thought was that it could be a counterfeit charger, but it appears to be a genuine Apple charger. It is rated for 5V/3A, among others, and is quite clearly USB PD rated. Until now

I can't use YouTube Music in my Sonos app. Nothing shows up in the app, totally blank. I've installed the app multiple times, relinked my accounts, restarted the router and so on. Searched the forums and web, no answer. Am I doomed here?  

Please please please add the ability to schedule night mode and enhanced speech mode on my Sonos. This request has been made so many times I can't believe Sonos has not implemented this yet.  If this is too hard to build into your app then please build a native integration with Slmartthings that allows me to set a routine to do the same. 

Since the update to macOS Tahoe I have been unable to connect to the Mac Sonos app. I have re-installed the app but that has made no difference. I spoke with an agent on  Sonos chat and he said as the update had only just happened that might be the reason. I thought that’s why Apple released beta versions  so cos could sort out any problems prior to the general release. It’s working fine on my iphone that was updated at the same time

Last year I purchased a Firewalla Gold Firewall and split my network into several VLANS. Amongst others, I have a dedicated VLAN assigned to my Sonos Connect amplifiers and another VLAN for user WIFI. My Sonos appliances are mostly connected with Cat 6. Some are connected over WIFI. One way traffic is enabled between the WIFI VLAN and the Sonos VLAN. I also have a Sonos Bridge on the network. This setup has been working well for about a year.Recently I purchased a couple of new Sonos Connect (app V1) amplifiers. I am able to find them on the Sonos App but when I press the button(s) on the appliance to complete the setup, nothing happens. It seems like some traffic is being blocked but I don’t know what or where. I have enabled bi-directional traffic between the WIFI and Sonos VLANs but that did not help. mDNS relay and SSDP relay are enabled on both networks.Does anyone know what happens when you press the physical button(s) on the Sonos connect once the device is read

Is there a fix for this? Diagnostic code has been sent.  No one accessed the Sonos app or any other app to cause this to occur.  Sonos Live radio blasted salsa music through the speaker all on its own, to the displeasure of all my neighbors.  Chat support was worthless, only resulted in setting a volume limit so that when their system does it again, it won’t be as obnoxious. Moderator Edit - Removed and recorded diagnostic number.

Ok, I might have an unfixable problem leading to throwing everything out the window.The setup: 4 x Era 300 + 1 Sub Gen. 3 All I want is the possibility to have them all working as 1 system that would show up as 1 system when someone connected to the WiFi wants to play something over the speakers. Why is this not possible? Why can’t the Sub just be added to a zone? I’ve grouped all 4 speakers, but on Android (Spotify) they still show as 4 different speakers and you can’t group them. I my particular scenario, I don’t want people that have to use the system install the Sonos app. I just want a simple working system. Is that really not possible?The particular space where the speakers are installed is used for different kinds of events where the participants must use the speakers with their phones/laptops/tablets.

A while ago I created this post: This is still a problem. For several games, if not all games, the volume is not how it should be. In the game Metaphor, dialoge form the sides are much louder than from the center. In other games, certain sounds seem too loud. These problems are especially bad when using Dolby Atmos on PS5, but also a problem in Linear PCM, in some cases just as bad like with the Metaphor example. I have tried several combinations without luck. This is not an issue with the TV or PS5 because this is not an issue with the TV audio. I am using passthrough on the TV and device type soundbar on PS5, but tested multiple combinations. Hi thereNo doubt a similar question has been asked before, but I can’t find the exact scenario so I would be grateful for any input.I currently have a Samsung 85” frame TV which is connected to a Sonos amp (using HDMI).  This is powering two in-wall speakers which are at the front either side of the TV.  I wanted to create a surround sound/home theater setup, so a smart home guy I know said to buy a sub and two Era 300 speakers.  However, having messed around with it you can’t seem to do Sonos surround sound unless you have a Ray, Beam or Arc.If I used grouping to group the amp and two speakers together, you get an echo/delay with the audio which is not nice and I think, having gone on this journey, is to be expected.So the question is without completely writing off my amp and in-wall speakers is there any way to create a surround sound/home theater setup using Sonos?  I could buy a Ray, Beam or Arc but then I’ve read you can’t have that doing your front
