Hi,I'm experiencing an issue with my brand new Beam (Gen 2) where dialog audio occasionally cracks/distorts. It doesn't happen constantly, it seems to occur at certain frequencies or volume levels, but it happens frequently enough to be noticeable and distracting.See the attached video for an example. Around the 7-second mark, when the person says "where even more adventures await us," you can clearly hear the word "more" cracking. Anyone have problems like this recently? I had to re-copy and re-index everything recently. Now some albums don’t have artwork. The artwork shows up on my computer in Apple Music, shows up in finder on my SMB server, but does not show up in Sonos controller on iOS or on MacOS. 

I have a Sonos AMP, bought new in october 2025. Last couple of months I have noticed the sound is quite harsh and fatiguing, especially for TV sound through HDMI ARC. Both Stereo PCM and Dolby Digital coding give the same problem.For example, some voices tend to be too sharp and slightly sibilant. Other sharp sounds also feel too harsh.Here is what I have tried without success:Adjusting treble slider to -10 Experimenting with Loudness on/off Turning on and off Night mode and Speech Enhancement Factory reset Tried 2 different speaker pairs (Dali Oberon 1 and Dali Kupid) Changed to higher quality speaker cablesIs anyone else experiencing this? I found some threads about similar issues but they were pretty old. Could this be a hardware issue on my device? Or could this problem have reappeared with a recent firmware update?

Have music library on Windows 11 transferred from IPod Classic. Is it possible to listen to the music on my ACE headphone? I can play music through Android phone, but unable to listen to music with ACE headphone. Apologize for not further clarifying; not certain how to provide further detail. I want to listen to MY music on MY pc via MY ACE.  Thank you in advance for your assistance.

I keep trying to access my systems settings in the app, but when I select the gear in the top right, it keeps redirecting me to Sonos/com to login, which I do. then, it just keeps me on the site, where I cannot do anything related to my account. advice?

Sonos arc ultra with 4 era 300 and 2 gen4 subs all grouped together now popping and crackling randomly while watching tv. All firmware updated all have perfect WiFi signal. Arc ultra plugged into tv eArc. Who else has this issue and how do I fix it.

Is there a way to turn the autopause feature off? I found it a bit 'sketchy' at times when wearing a beanie or hat of some sort. Which in these colder countries like Finland where i live is quite unavoidable to be without at times.  It 9 out of 10 times pauses if I turn my head a certain way if I'm wearing a hat. 

Hi, I recently purchased a sub mini to connect to my beam gen 1.  The bass on my beam was very distorted, sound like a blown speaker when any bass was present.  I bought the sub mini to take on the bass the beam couldn’t handle anymore.  I currently have the bass on the EQ at -10 so that I don’t hear bass coming from the beam.  The only way I can hear any bass from the sub is when I turn the bass on the sub up to +15.  My question is, is it worth keeping this set up having to keep the bass on the beam off and the bass on the sub all the way up.  I feel like the two should be working together to produce clean bass for movies and music.  Contemplating returning the sub mini and going a different direction all together.

I’m not sure if I can do anything about this strange behavior in some settings or if it’s a bug. It’s present on both iPhone and iPad. If I’m in player mode like shown on left picture and want to go somewhere else the first time I press an icon, it doesn’t change to that mode but some previous mode. I’m pretty sure it did not work like this a couple of updates ago. Not sure when it changed.On iPad it’s even worse because the controls jump from bottom to top when going from player mode in the same way as shown in the pictures. Seems like a minor bug to fix to me. If it’s not some obscure setting I haven’t found.

Hi, for years when I open Sonos on my Macbook I have been getting the dreaded “Your Computer's Firewall Setting Have Changed” In my firewall setting I have Sonos added and “Allow Incoming Connections”. This is permanent and never, ever changes.But every few weeks I get this warning and I can’t open Sonos. Sometimes I quit and reopen and it’s fine. I have called Sonos a few months ago and they said there is no way to play Sonos on my Mac right now…. but I have been using it on and off since then. Tonight quitting doesn’t help. So my question is, why doesn’t this just work? Like all the time. Aren’t there Sonos executives with Macs where this comes up?Does anyone have a permanent fix?

Keep getting an error when trying to re-add my music folder. It tells me the folder isn’t shared. I have verified the folder is definitely shared, and even specifically shared with my Sonos Wireless system. Something like this seems to happen every time I update the S/W. I just updated to 17.2.2. Now, the system lies and says the shared folder isn’t shared. WTF?

 When I load an Amazon Music Unlimited playlist I created that has 498 tracks, why are a different amount of tracks loaded when using two different apps?  When I use Sonos S2, 400 of 498 tracks are loaded.  When I use SonoPhone all 498 tracks are loaded. If I load the 498 track playlist using SonoPhone the queue on Sonos S2 shows all 498 tracks.  Weird!  

Hi,I use my Sonos arc ultra with Amazon stick 4k and Panasonic Tv.IVe seen multiple Atmos content as Monarch legacy of Monsters. When the épisode is running, the Sonos app display the Dolby Atmos tag.  But today Ive lunched an episode and the app display Dolby Digital 5.1 tag. I’ve tried with previous episodes, and it still displays Digital 5.1. Any explanations ?cheers

When using the About My System functionality in the Sonos App, some speakers have “<Number>” instead of the correct version next to them.  The build number is always displayed correctly.  

I have 3 stereo pairs. Eras in kitchen and bedroom, Play 1 in study. Have had all speakers drop out except one of the pair in kitchen twice, and today all but one in bedroom. It’s exhausting trying to repeatedly fix things. I always have to break the stereo pair in the involved room to start restoring sound to all.
