Get help and assistance with your Sonos system

Just bought the ace headphone.The shop confirmed they could be used in a sonos system.But to my horrow i find a lot of people also discovering that they cannot be group with all my other sonos speakers.I use my system for TV sound through a sonos soundbar, an bought the headphones to be able to listen to TV, and the tv sound should of coarse also be playing. But connecting the headphone to tv, and all other speakers go mute!!Is this really true? I do hope I’m doing something wrong, because else the most expensive, BY FAR, headphones I ever bought is totally useless. A very frustated customersvein

I’m playing “top songs” from an artist I like, after searching for the artist on the system, through all my Sonos speakers. Firstly, it plays a few songs from across the artists catalogue then it plays random songs from different artists.Secondly, when I go to skip the track I get a message saying it can’t skip and to try again. See picture of message.  Any suggestions? 👍🏼 

Hi,new feature submission:with more and more portable speakers, headphones and truly wireless devices in Sonos’ lineup it would be really nice to use the app as a separate streaming device with mobile data on the go. The devices would better justify their price tags and Sonos would be probably the first with such feature on the market, meanwhile still locking it to Sonos hardware.let me know if you need more thoughts on the implementation.cheers!

Why are there still so many radio stations on both TuneIn and My tuner that I cannot play?I am getting really bored with it. 

Hi everyone,My Sonos Beam (Gen 2) suddenly stopped working while I was listening to music through the Sonos app. Since then:• The Sonos app no longer shows any installed devices or system setup• The Beam displays no LED indicators whatsoever — not even a faint light on power-up• I have tried plugging it into a different power outlet• I have tried a different power cable• I have attempted a factory reset, but the unit shows no response at allThe speaker appears to be completely unresponsive, as if it has no power — yet the outlets and cables I tested are working fine with other devices.Has anyone experienced this before? Could this be a hardware failure, or is there something else I can try before contacting Sonos support?Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

I just bought 6 era 100sl.I'm getting crazy to connect them . They disappeared or never end the actualization . I'm using an open WiFi from the hotel .We want to use it combining music in differents areas . Can anybody help me please ? Thanks 

I have two SONOS devices. I’ve sold one of them. How can I transfer the sold SONOS device from my account to the buyer? I saw the option in the mobile app, but I’m worried it might transfer all my devices. Can you help me?

Hello all, I hope someone can help me.I noticed the other day that a few albums in my library had suddenly split into multiple albums. At first I thought there may have been an update that had changed the way certain albums were tagged. I did some rudimentary checks on the album tags (I use Tag & Rename) but couldn't see any issues. However on further examination I noticed that the multiple of the albums had the same track in them see images below.Multiple of one album.Only one track (The same track) showing in both albumsYou can see that a look into the folder for this album shows 11 tracks. 

Factory reset instructions say to unplug the power cord and hold a certain button down while plugging it back in.Can we not just turn the speaker or whatever off at the wall socket and turn it back on while holding the button instead of actually unplugging the power cord. Wouldn't that do the exact same thing and be so much easier i mean if we can then why dont Sonos just say to turn the speaker off at the wall then turn it back on while holding the button down? seems extremely overkill to me to tell us to pull the power cable out. Some peoples cables are hard to get to.Out of curiosity i did actually test it and it seemed to work fine but i dunno just seems like they really overcomplicated the reset procedure and I cant think of a reason why they would do that. Which leads me to think unplugging the cable is actually important and my reset may not of actually wiped everything    

i looked online, but can anyone suggest the crossover frequency in the sonos amp with a sub when the architctural speakers are detected? the default is 80 but those speakers appear to go below 50. 

The app seems to be getting progressively worse. I’ve now got the following issues. Alarm didn’t go off today Tried and failed to play music to the relevant speaker  if trying to interact with app, I need to close and restart as many as 4 times before it properly loads Can’t play music to several speakers  Almost impossible to play everywhere - always fails  My WiFi is good around the house is there an update coming any time soon to fix all of this? Terrible experience for a system so dependent on the app, especially if you have lots of devices.  Graeme 

Is sonos move 2 charging base station compatible for sonos move 1 too?

I have bought 2 x Era 100s to connect to my Beam1 to use not as surround sounds but as additional speakers. The Era play but I can not get the Beam tomplay as the group or injunction with the Eras? nothing Support AI suggests works?

Now you can only enable or disable status light for the speaker that played the right/left sound when doing the stereo setup.If you want to turn both steps light on or off you have to disable the stereo pair.Set each speaker status light on or off and then do the stereo pairing again. Still you can only control the speaker played the right/left sound.

I opened the S1 app on my phone (Pixel 9) to adjust the EQ on my old Play:5 and it was not seen in the app. Spotify was playing at the time, no issues.The Play:5 is connected to an ancient bridge (on its third power supply, lol)I factory reset and re-added the device but only succeeded via a wired connection after many tries. After that the device works on wired, including with the S1 app. But once I unplug from the ethernet the S1 app stops seeing it, while Spotify just keeps on working as before.If I attempt the “find missing product” procedure it responds immediately when I press the buttons on the Play:5 but fails to connect. In other words, it immediately detects the device when the pairing buttons are pressed then fails to find the device it just detected buttons being pressed on. 10/10, no notes, perfect user experience. ;-)S/N: ********************* (hopefully there’s some telemetry that can get this sorted. 

Can the Sonos amp be controlled by Bluetooth or WiFi without using the Sonos amp for anyone to control and connect through blue tooth 

I know it’s a TV setting, but since the TV hasn’t had firmware updates in a while, it makes me somewhat suspicious of a possible update to my Sonos Arc Ultra soundbar.For the past few days, even though I have the TV set to “DD+”, it randomly switches back to “PCM” on its own. Obviously, when I play something in Atmos or DD+, it stays in PCM until I manually change the TV settings again.It’s very annoying—every time I want to watch a new video, I have to go into the TV settings just to check if everything is correct.The TV is a few years old, but this didn’t happen before on my Samsung MU6100.

Is it possible to connect the new sonos play via Bluetooth with the Samsung freestyle video projector?

The pop-up menu in Apple music occasionally is missing the view artist and view album choices. Sometimes it shows and sometimes it does not. Anybody else for this issue?

I want to use audio, radio stream, all audio things on my Thinkpad laptop as an audio source for my 2.1 amp system…. (from usb-c out on computer to optical in on sonos)….is this possible? If so how please?Thanks you…!!!!…..Bill Lutz

Play 5 works fine on app, and i can get sound over headphones, but no sound true speakers. I replace some bad cups but still no sound. Then i notice one of the IC has a hole in it, Does any one know what will be the replace part markings. I have marked on  pictures, there is a five of them and they are all the same type of IC. Thank you 

Hello,I have trouble with my sonos system in my restaurant.The volume is changing by its own ! most of time reducing, i have same issue with sonos radio and spotify.I have 3 era 300, 2 era 100 and one sonos one, connected on unifi wifi system (no wire connection).I have contact the support many times bu no solution.Have you any idea ?Regards

A few night ago, I was getting the odd message of music not encoded, now I can start play but 5 secs in, audio is lost, the music is still counting down, the audio will pop in intermittently and then stop again. Mixcloud is the main app I use on the 8 Sonos speakers I have around the house. Can you help? I've reauthorised, removed it, added it back in. 

As my introduction into the Sonos ecosystem, I’ve had my Era 100 stereo pair for 4 months now. Starting about 1 month ago I’ve been experiencing constant issues surrounding connecting to my Apple TV via Airplay. I use an Apple TV 4K which is connected via Ethernet directly to my router, and I use the Sonos Era 100 pair as my primary audio output. For reasons I have not been able to figure out, they no longer connect and I get the “Could not connect to Airplay” error on my Apple TV. I have both my Sonos Era 100 pair and Apple TV 4K fully up to date and non of my network settings have been changed ever.  IMPORTANT - I am still able to use my Sonos Era 100 via Airplay with my iPhone, say with Spotify or other services, this problem is limited to my Apple TV.
