Get help and assistance with your Sonos system

Hi, for the last 3 weeks or so Sonos is constantly dropping out and losing connection. Sometimes it skips through tracks, other times it just stops playing. I also can not connect to Sonos speakers via the Spotify app. This all worked before and we haven’t changed our internet setup. Is anyone else having this problem? What can I do to fix it? 

I can't use YouTube Music in my Sonos app. Nothing shows up in the app, totally blank. I've installed the app multiple times, relinked my accounts, restarted the router and so on. Searched the forums and web, no answer. Am I doomed here?  

As of today, Tidal Connect can no longer select my Sonos speakers. Is anyone else experiencing this problem? Is there a solution?

Hi! Bought Sonos port which I´m trying to connect to existing system “living room” where my Sonos speakers are. iOS app, however, put the port to a new system “living room 2” so there is no connection between the devices. I have started several time from scratch and also reseted the port to factory settings. I am stuck. Any help?

Hi I got four groups,All - Arc ultra and sub 4Cinema - Arc and sub 3Tilda - IKEA Sonos oneMaster bedroom - IKEA Sonos one Group cinema is dropping out randomlyBoth when watching on connected Samsung 55” led and with Spotify and apple music services from within Sonos app. Tried without HDMI cable from TVTried new HDMI cable from TV Tried  channel 1 6 and 11 from Sonos app network settings.They tried various channels on the router wifi All Sonos products are up to date Also sometimes an extremely banging noise occurs from the arc in group cinema and sometimes a loud repeatedly sound like a machine gun is heard and i need to unplug the power cord to the arc. I have tried factory reset a couple of times for all peosucts. I just sent a diag to the support ***********I talked to the support in Sweden a couple of times.Please help. Regards Himzo Moderator edit: recorded and removed serial number

Previously, I have been able to update my S1/S2 compatible products to work with the S2 app. Now none of these products will update. What is going on?

I see that you can play the entire library through Songs. Is there a way to exclude certain albums or songs? Christmas albums for example. 

Good Evening,I hope someone can advise. I have 2 x play 3 speakers and 2 x play 1 speakers.All were working perfectly . There was a recent software update and the play 1’s are fine. Since the update both my play 3 speakers are popping and crackling randomly at any volume and are very distorted. I have tried them separately and as a stereo pair. I have turned the bass and treble down and turned the loudness off. I have done a factory reset twice but to no avail. I have raised a case with Sonos diagnostics and they have said that it is a hardware fault if I have done a factory reset and it has not rectified the problem. I said that it is very strange that both speakers have failed at the very same moment in time with a hardware failure and he agreed but said that is what it is and offered the 15% upgrade. Any advice suggestions would be much appreciated. I love the speakers and don’t want to throw them away and buy new. Thanks

For weeks now my Sonos system has been rock solid (it is only a single pair of 300s). Suddenly over the last few days I get repeated reports of “No Products Found”. It eventually clears itself but the problem periodically comes back (it has just done it again). Internet speed at the device running the app is 160mbps. Are there any issues with the Sonos network? 

Good afternoon all,I’m after some help/advice please, to enable my 2 Sonos play 1 speakers to work wirelessly on my new wifi network. I’ve followed numerous help articles online, but without success, hence this post.Situation:I’ve recently introduced a new mesh wifi system to my home to increase WiFi coverage. (this has included introducing a new mesh hub, which is plugged into the existing router via an ethernet cable)Challenge:Despite numerous steps (see below), I have been unable to get by play speakers to work on the new network wirelessly. FYI the speakers will work when connected via ethernet cable to the new mesh hub, but this is not a viable solution moving forward.Steps taken so far (following advice in the app and help articles):Removed the 2 speakers from the app (so that no products show in the Sonos app when it re-loads) Factory re-set the speakers (however they do not display a green light when powered - instead the light goes solid white after flashing white and orange)

hi   have been using phones both android and apple lately to run system  - tonight used laptop  i cannot add new radio stations or see settings  - i am offered update but assume that is to sonos 2 and the system is all old so dont want to do this.   the only things i am offered are check for  updates and change language -  any thoughts 

When I enter the Sonos application and am connected to my headphones via USB C cable, the song shown in the playback is not the correct one.The title of the last song played through Bluetooth appearsYou can interact with the controls, but I insist that the song that is played is not displayed correctlyAny Solution?

I use the USBC cable connected to my iPhone to listen to lossless music on my Sonos ACE. An option to turn off charging while listening to music would help conserve the battery of the phone and headphones  Does this feature exist? If it doesn't exist, SONOS should create it. It would be very valuable

The volume is very low using USBc USBc connection on the iPhone. The volume of the Sonos app and the volume of Apple Music are not synchronized. I can turn up the volume in the Sonos app. This is very strange. Some solution?

Two weeks ago my Sonos system stopped playing self-created playlists. I spent lots of time troubleshooting through the Sonos not and chat.  The answer:  We will work on this. Use Airplay or such.  So, I am advised to trade one clunky software for an even more clunky option.  I soooo regret my Sonos investment.  Would NEVER recommend the service to anyone.  In fact, I now proactively say “stay away.”  

the sonos ray works fine but every few days the white light blinking and I am not able to do factory reset

Hi all,I have a friend who would like to install a Sonos Amp and connect it to two ceiling speakers.They have already purchased an EPSON tw7100 projector.They wish to use a laptop to watch Netflix etc on the projector.My question is, how would all this be connected up to get the picture from laptop and audio from Sonos system?Any and all help would be greatly appreciated Matt

Are there any updates about how to get a Samsung solar remote to control the volume of a Playbar?  I see from extensive searching that pairing a Samsung remote with a Playbar has been a problem for a long time.  My TV is a Samsung QN75Q7FAAFXZA  if that makes a difference.  it runs eARC and doesn’t have an optical output so I’m using a converter to connect the TV to the Playbar.  This setup worked when I was using a Xumo remote and Xumo box.  I eliminated the box because it isn’t needed to run the TV.

Hi there,just gotten my first Sonos product, a soundbar. I am testing the app right now and listen to a few songs.I am wondering how to scrobble the music I am listening to to last.fm though. Somehow I cannot find an integration. This is a huge surprise to be honest since every audio device or software I used in the past 20 years supported scrobbling.Not having scrobbling on the soundbar is annoying but it will mainly play movies. But when there is no scrobbling I cannot take Sonos serious as a music player and won’t get any other speakers which I will use for music listening.So any help for scrobbling is appreciated, and if its not possible take this post as a feature request.Cheers!

Apologies for the longish title but there are a lot of threads discussing speakers dropping, but none seemed exactly like mine. I love my Sonos system but ran into connection issues when I changed my WiFi from Xfinity cable to an ATT Fiber Router and added two Eero 6+ mesh devices to get signal around my house. While I’m not an IT expert, so excuse any naming errors, I am not afraid to try things out.My system: S2 app, Play 1 gen 1 & Sub Gen 3 (Grouped), Amp (Outdoor Speakers), Arc Ultra (TV), and Boost (now offline). Everything is wireless, no direct connections after dropping the Boost. My Issue: After connecting everything, which took a while, the Arc Ultra kept getting dropped. If it connected, then either the Amp or the Grouped Play 1s or Sub would get dropped. I could see all of the devices in ATT Gateway Router (Nokia) and on my Eero app. After researching the issue, I think that there were conflicts with the wifi bands and wifi sources. Arc Ultra and Era 100’s  Anyone else have this setup and noticing that the Era 100’s as rears are doing less work with the Arc Ultra when compared to the standard Arc? I’m barely noticing any audio coming from the rears even with the surround volume turned up to maximum.  I swapped my original Arc back with the Era 100 surrounds and tested the same Atmos movies on the Arc and the Arc Ultra, and there is a significant difference/reduction in the signals being sent to the Era 100’s in the rear channels with the Arc Ultra.  Increasing the “TV Level” setting for Surround Audio in the Sonos app increases the front surround volume coming from the Arc Ultra but the signals coming out of the ERA 100 rears are almost non existent.  Is this behavior the result of how the Arc Ultra processes surround channels, and should be considered normal operation?

My wife and I have separate Sonos and separate Qobuz (Duo) accounts. I have linked the relevant Sonos and Qobuz accounts on different mobile phones. We can send music to the Sonos speakers as would be expected, but my wife continues to see and add to my Qobuz music, playlists, etc and is unable to make her own separate music lists. We are also unable to play different music on different speakers (which is a pain if one of us is watching TV through the Arc). Is there a solution to this? 

Why does Sonos have a maximum of 32 Sonos devises in one home? Is there a not so cumbersome work around? 

The Sonos app only works on three of my four Apple devices (three iPhones, one ipad). Is there a limit of three devices?
