"Music Library" not accessible on iPhone app or Android app

I have completed all of the proper network sharing options on my laptop for my "music library" to be accessible. I can see it on my work laptop, my MacBook Air, and PC media center. I can access the whole library, play individual songs, playlists or what ever I want with no problem. Now for the "phone apps" - For some reason when I touch the "music library" on any of my phones, as soon as I tap on any selections (songs, artists, playlist, composers, genres, etc.) I get an exclamation point in a circle and the message is ALWAYS "something went wrong." I would really like an answer to why this is always happening on the phone apps and litterally NEVER happening on the PCs or Macs. Don't try and blame my network settings. I am very network savvy and I've additionally already troubleshot everything with a network professional that is on the top of their game. Another Firmware and Ace software updates Still No TrueCinema

Took me 3 passes to get all 9 speakers updated to 16.4.4 (build 81.1.58210) firmware.No EQ related settings were reset, thankfully. So far.There's also a software update available for the Ace. No indication that TrueCinema has been activated 👿👿Bottom Line: Not Helpful.

Has anyone ever solved the Sonos to Samsung eArc problem?

My Sonos arc isn’t recognized by Samsung Q70C Qled using the eArc hdmi input. So it’ll switch between trying to connect to the Arc and the tv speakers. This has been going on for months. Has anybody been able to solve this problem? I see this is a problem going back four years, maybe more. I’ve seen people try lots of different solutions but nothing really definitive. Samsung is aware of this problem and as far as I know, they just don’t care because there hasn’t been a fix. Unplugging the TV and waiting five minutes isn’t a solution. It’s a band aid. if I had known, this was gonna be a problem I never would’ve bought this Samsung. My Arc upstairs has zero problems with my LG tv. So frustrating!

Sonos Port & Ethernet Commection

Hi, my Sonos Port is connected via Ethernet cable to my router. However, when I check the “Connection” setting, the option to disable WIFI is grayed out. It is like it doesn’t know it is wired to the router. Any ideas? Thanks!

play 1s and play 3s not responding with new app

Hi.My play 1s and play 3s I know are a few years old now but they do not work well with the new app.App doesn't respond just freezes or still shows song that was playing 10 mins ago.My Play 5 gen 2s are fine probably because they are newer.I can't afford to buy newer speakers.Is there anything I can do? My WiFi is fast at 500 mb so no speed issues.

spotify stops playing when my phone leaves the house

I’ve recently upgraded from S1 to S2. If I select a playlist using Spotify, once I leave the house, the music stops playing on Sonos in the home after a track or two. this never happened on S1, but I don’t know how to fix it.

I have 2 Play 1s, a Beam and a Connect Amp. One Play1 And the Beam connect and work fine. The other Play1 and the Connect Amp are recognised by the app but fail connection, and for the Connect Amp will not update the software so can't complete. I do not understand how 2 items work but 2 do not. Have had 2 phone sessions wth agents with no success.How can half the system work and half not especially when the play1s are identical. Surely it can't be anything to do with my router or wifi.I was in the process of updating my sonos but am now having second thoughts unless I can get a handle on the the systems reliabilty.

Sonos Ace volume too loud.

It’s loud even setting it at the min. Can Sonos fix this? I compared it with my Bose Headphone. Sonos Ace is a lot louder. I don’t want to return it. However, if it can’t be fixed, I have no other choice….

Hi - I recently purchased a Roku TV and a Sonos Ray, but I am unable to pair the Roku remote with the Ray. Are there any options available to accomplish this? Is there a different Roku remote that I can purchase to pair with the Ray? TIA for any help/direction!

How can I get the old iOS app back?

As we all know, the current Sonos app on iOS is a big pile of stinking sh*te. I have absolutely no idea how Sonos allowed such an app to be built, let alone released. It does not work. Every time I open it in order to do something, it’s an endless loop of waiting for things to load, having devices not found, devices not responding, laggy controls. Perhaps after a minute of waiting, stabbing randomly at grey boxes, then I can get something to play. Want to change a song? That will then take another minute, if any of the devices respond at all. It really is the pits.So, without throwing my Sonos hardware away, I go to my Mac and use the Mac app to control Sonos, and that works beautifully, as it always had in the past.So my question: how do we get the Sonos S2 app back on our iPhones and iPads? The old apps still work, as evidenced by being able to use the old Mac app. I would happily downgrade my entire system back to S1 but I was stupid enough to buy some Era devices which don’t suppor

Hello, this is a new issue. Various speakers cut out randomly only when input is from TV. Using music feeds from app works fine. Any ideas?

blue tooth connection

I have a Sonos one which is blue tooth enabled.i have bought a pro-Ject Blue Tooth Turntable and it won’t connect to my Sonos One speaker.I understand that to pair my speaker with a device, I need to press and hold the blue tooth button on my Sonos until the light on the top flashes blue.Here lies the problem. It doesn’t. It flashes orange. Red. Green and white. Never blue.I have factory reset the device, and tried everything that I have read on line but nothing works. The turntable connected immediately with my headphones (not Sonos) so I know that the turntable is not the problem.I have lost hours trying to resolve. Any help in laymen’s terms would be welcomed.

Move 2 never connected to wifi, so was never used, and ultimately returned...

New user of the Sonos Community forum, here.Quick post, just to register my disappointment with the Sonos Move 2, which was ultimately returned to the store for a refund just a few hours after purchase.After a lot of research, and weighing various options from several brands, I purchased the Move 2 during the Black Friday sales from a Australian retailer.I brought it home, unboxed it carefully, and allowed it to charge for about half an hour, but I couldn’t get it connected to the wifi.I found plenty of advice online, which I was happy to follow... suggesting a factory reset of the Move 2, terminating the Sonos app, clearing the cache of the app, reinstalling the app, resetting the router, changing the wifi b/g/n modes, and combinations of the above, among other things… but all to no avail.I left both 2.4GHz and 5GHz enabled, then alternated disabling each.I even changed the wifi password, in case the Move 2 disliked numbers, or letters, and eventually to minimise the chance that I was

Adware in Sonos App

Sonos has built adware into the app. So when my adware blocker stops traffic to braze.com, a cross-channel marketing campaign platform, it blocks me from being able to play music on my devices for several minutes. Can Sonos provide a response? And allowing my usage of the app to marketing campaign platforms is not an acceptable response.

Idagio and Sonos app

So far as I can tell, it is still impossible to add an album from Idagio to the Sonos queue. Will this be fixed any time soon? Classical/opera streaming doesn't really work if you have to add dozens of separate tracks to a queue in order to hear the entire piece.

LG TV + Sono Arc + Apple TV4K = Keep Switching To HDMI Arc

HiI’ve read a few threads related to this topic and most of them are over a year ago. I wanted to ask this question again to see if anyone experienced this with the newer TVs using HDMI eARC on the Sonos and the Apple TV. Setup:LG OLED C4 + Sonos Arc + Apple TV 4K Apple TV 4K connected to HDMI 1 Sono Arc connected to the HDM2 eARCIssue:On the TV, when trying to switch the sound output to any other types other than HDMI eARC, within seconds, it automatically switches back to the HDMI eARC. I have a set up to use the digital audio PCM to connect to the mixer for at home entertainment karaoke. In my previous LG TV LED, I wasn’t using the Sono at the time and able to switch between the TV Speakers and Digital Audio without any issue while using the Apple TV 4K connecting to HDMI 1. From what I’ve read, this is not specifically to LG, but it I more specifically to the HDMI eARC CEC Simplelink setup. Can you connect Sonos App to Google Home?

I have a new projector that uses the Google TV Stick and it’s Google Home services. Is it possible to connect my Sonos devices to the projector? I know I can connect one through Bluetooth, but I would like to connect the Google Home/TV Stick to the Sonos App so I can use my Sonos system. Does anyone know how to do this?

Playbar Compatibility

Before purchasing two Era 100s I emailed Sonos and asked the question if these were compatible with the original Playbar I had. In writing, they said the Era 100s are compatible. HOWEVER, they will not connect with Playbar to make a Surround Sound system. I was completely misled by the Sale representatives.

Sonos Radio Subscription Reactivation

I originally subscribed to Sonos HD Radio through Apple, then cancelled in 2023. I want to reactivate my subscription, however the Sonos site says I have a subscription with Apple and to go through the Apple subscription app to cancel, however Apple doesn’t show that subscription (assume because it’s so old). Any way to get around this without having to call sales Mon - Friday?
