Get help and assistance with your Sonos system

As mentioned pretty much every morning when I am up watching the TV(Samsung recent model) the sound drops out. A power on and off fixes it every time. All connections are stable and firm but it keeps happening. I only upgraded from a similar setup with an old player, connected the same way that never had an issue. The Arc is directly connected to the TV via HDMI, my old set up was optical. I have done some research but no avail so would appreciate any help.

Hi,  I am struggling to get Dolby Atmos to work correctly with my PC. I have a: Nvidia RTX 5080 (PC HDMI audio source)BenQ Mobiuz EX321UX Monitor (using eARC)SONOS Beam Gen 2  • Sub Gen 3  • 2x One SL rears What happens is that when the PC audio is set to "Dolby Atmos for Home Theater"  • Audio doesn't work at all  • Audio is choppy  • Audio works for a bit, then cuts out for a moment or a few minutes, then works again. It's as if the audio "crashes" and restarts. I recently swapped out the Sonos system for a Samsung HW-Q990F soundbar/sub/rears Atmos system, and it works as expected. Note - I used the same cables for both these setups, and only Sonos experienced the issue. This is especially frustrating for me as I have 6 rooms filled with Sonos speakers, and would love to continue to be a customer! Do you know what's going on here? Hello Sonos Team and Community,I own multiple Sonos speakers (including One SL) and have been a loyal user for years. Recently, I can no longer play Radio Rock (Finland) on Sonos. Instead of the station, I only get “Welcome to TuneIn” and ads looping endlessly.Here’s what I’ve tried:Removed and re-added TuneIn (New) in the Sonos app Logged in with my TuneIn account and added Radio Rock as a favorite Rebooted speakers, reset network, cleared cache Tried Sonos desktop app and mobile app Verified that the station works in TuneIn’s own appNothing works. Previously, I could add a custom stream URL to Sonos and bypass TuneIn issues, but Sonos removed that feature in recent updates. I am unable to listen to a podcast uninterrupted by sonos dropping out--- for minutes at a time!Device is next to my modem.I have unpluggef / rebooted a gazillion times.What happened?  This device is crap.

Hi community, lately I acquired a brand new Beam Gen 2 for obtain (finally) Dolby Atmos but when I listen to it (and listening tests) I noticed that the virtualized height channels sounds like is there only a filter, I know that is a bit complex to do this notice life-like but the only solution I viewed was, to do a trueplay tuning?My room isn’t the best but I expected more, so I’m also asking for advices and others experiences to not refund it, I really like to listen Atmos well but I don’t have an iPhone so, if it is very necessary I’ll try to obtain one.Thank you for any advice and sorry if my grammar isn’t the best :)

Why am I hearing adverts when I switch my Sonos on that is pre programmed to play Heart Berkshire via their global app. This also happened with Tunein but stopped when I move to global but it has started again

Apple has released a beta for Apple TV (tvOS 26.4)In this update: "It appears that Apple added this new setting (Continuous Audio Connection), in part, to address complaints from Apple TV users who use Sonos speakers paired with AV receivers. Some users have indicated they hear popping noises or awkwardly low volume levels on certain channels, specifically with 5.1-channel content."When I open my SONOS App it now shows that EVERYTHING I play from ATV is in Dolby Atmos, these are TV programs that I am 100% sure are not played in Atmos.It says: “Apple TV uses a Dolby MAT connection for glitch-free playback across formats. Older receivers may indicate an Atmos connection, but original mixes will not be modified.” I know it's a beta but it will be interesting to follow and see if they fix the bug.The article can be read here: 

Just bought the ace headphone.The shop confirmed they could be used in a sonos system.But to my horrow i find a lot of people also discovering that they cannot be group with all my other sonos speakers.I use my system for TV sound through a sonos soundbar, an bought the headphones to be able to listen to TV, and the tv sound should of coarse also be playing. But connecting the headphone to tv, and all other speakers go mute!!Is this really true? I do hope I’m doing something wrong, because else the most expensive, BY FAR, headphones I ever bought is totally useless. A very frustated customersvein

Recently the iOS app stopped playing my iTunes imported playlists.  I have the latest software updates including iOS 26.4.2 and Sonos app version 84.0.34.  Using the Windows 10 app (Sonos Controller for PC S2 17.2.2) I’m still able to play Music Library Imported Playlists as usual.  But when I attempt to play or shuffle a playlist from the Sonos iOS app I just get a spinning indicator.  However, I’m able to play individual songs from the iOS app using Play Now or Replace Queue, etc.I tried clearing the queue before attempting to play an imported playlist using the iOS app but that didn’t help.Anyone else having similar issues with the iOS app and imported playlists?  I suspect it’s due to the iOS app update 84.0.34 or other recent Sonos app update.  For now my only workaround is to use the Windows app on my PC, or to play individual songs from my playlists.  Bummer.

I had to power cycle all my Sonos equipment to correct a “ghost” song that would start random play at various times of the day and night on one of more of my Sonos equipment throughout my house. Doing that solved that problem, but have now encountered another issue, one that is a major problem for me.I redid my connection to YT Music Premium, and have found that Sonos now limits the number of albums I can see for any given artist. A good example is The Rolling Stones who have over 100 albums related to them on YT Music, to around 20 to 30. This eliminates my ability to brows their catalog within Sonos; a major disadvantage when using Sonos. Sonos AI says to enter the album I want to hear, and when it appears, I will be able to listen to it when I want. If I knew what that would be I wouldn’t be typing this now.According to all sources of information I see, including Gemini AI, this is not a YT problem. I started connecting Spotify (free) from Sonos app about 2 weeks ago and worked well for a week. In the second week, music was not coming through the Sonos speakers (pair of Five and a Sub) despite the Sonos app kept playing like normal. Tried disconnecting/reconnecting Spotify and playing through Spotify app. Music continue to play a while and then drop off while the Sonos/Spotify app kept playing. Tried rebooting router and power off/on speakers but still dropping off. All other music channels like Sonos Radio and Accuradio work as they should without dropping. It is just Spotify. Is it because I have a free account? I am reasonably sure this dropping off started after I updated firmware last week. Happy to disconnect Spotify permanently but I found this particulat music I liked only found on Spotify (Kelly Boesch).  

I’m posting this to see whether other Sonos Arc Ultra owners have experienced the same issue, because at this point I’ve done enough testing to know I’m not just imagining it.My problem is very specific: on certain scenes with male voices yelling, raising their voice, or getting very intense, my Arc Ultra produces a harsh distortion / clipping / breakup sound in the dialogue. It is not just bright treble or sharp sound. It sounds like the vocal peak itself is breaking up and getting rough in a way that does not sound normal.This does not seem like a simple one-unit defect, because I had this issue on my first Arc Ultra, replaced it with another one, and the replacement Arc Ultra is doing the same thing too.I have tested this across multiple sources and settings already:Sources tested Sony native apps

Just connected to my S1 App and 1 x Play 3 and 1 x connect amp are showing as incompatible, I have no idea how to rectify, help please….

Hai my Sonos One SL is no sound, it conncet to sonos app. I already reset any times but still no sound, anyone have the same problem before?

Hi I have some Older active Sonos amps and they keep comining up update software available , when i select this it keeps failing.How can this be rectified as it is very frustrating.

Suddenly, unable to see Sonos devices on one of spotify accounts in home.  in sonos, can see their account and playlist.  we are premium duo.  in their Spotify don’t see Sonos speakers.  i have revoked and added access to sonos back to her account updated all software.  in airplay/bluetooth i do see some of sonos speakers, which normally see them right away?  any thoughts?

My Ikea/Sonos Symfonisk keeps disappearing from my sonos app every day. Any Help?I have to manually unplug it and plug back on daily to sync with the rest of my Sonos system.  I have updated everything, reboot everything even re-connect and recalibrate the entire system via Ethernet cable and only works for 1 day, and the following day it all disappear all over again.Additionally it drops from the sync multiple times during the day, Any idea to remedy this issue?

I have a Full Sonos Setup in my home theater. Sonos sub4 x2, Sonos era 300 x2, Sonos Arc Ultra. I have bought two 8inch in ceiling Sonos speakers I will add and need a new amp. Unfortunately, the existing Sonos Amp Gen 2 will not allow me to integrate these new speakers into my Dolby Atmos system. I am waiting on the new Sonos Amp gen 3 to hopefully allow me to integrate these in ceiling speakers into my Atmos system. Really looking for a theater like system. Any potential for this with Amp gen 3?

Play5 gen1 will not connect to wifi.All fixes attempted.Plays without issue when connected to router by ethernet cable .Cuts out when connected to wifi extender by ethernet cable.

Why is my speaker saying sorry that device is offline 

It was connecting seamlessly to my projector, then it suddenly stopped playing sound. Now it doesn't play sound from my iPhone or iPads. Very disappointing. I was going to buy a Sonos Soundbar, but this experience has really put me off the brand. 

Hi Community,My old system (Arc&Sub, OneSL, Era100) used to auto shut off OneSL & Era100 whenever playing music (Everywhere) to then watching TV. Now I have added a Move2 the system plays all speakers when switching from music to TV which makes for really echoing sound. Any reason for this? Thanks 

Sonos Beam Gen 2 connected via HDMI eARC to Samsung Frame TV via One Connect box. TV recognizes Beam as sound output, chime plays on connection, music plays via WiFi, but no TV audio passes through. Dolby Atmos greyed out, Q-Symphony says no device available. Tried factory reset, new HDMI cable, all TV settings. Fully updated. Samsung Frame TV.”  Any fixes out there ?

Sonos has started sputtering during songs and finally halting that song at a standstill, then a message: “Network connection speed insufficient to maintain playback buffer.”  Then it goes to next song in the queue and again sputters to a standstill. Doesn’t always happen, sometimes goes along fine for a song or two before it happens again. Ookla speed test states 447.0 download, 19,9 upload. Driving me crazy and any help much appreciated. Only started happening 4 days or so ago.My only Sonos-manufactured equipment is a single ZP80 and using Iphone (sometimes my Imac)  S1 controller.  Everything worked beautifully before this problem started. No other known problems with other various functions operating on my network.
