Hello, I have a question in real life scenario, I couldn't mount the era300s as recommended in my lounge.  Hi,Due to a new sofa, (missus not me) I couldn't use the speaker stands anymore . Even worse I had to mount them 1.4m for for headroom clearance using sonos swivel mounts and locked  So, they're pretty high, I still got 2.5m clearance to the ceiling. The new sofa is right up against the back wall, the era speakers have 12 inches clearance from side walls which I understand is a requirement too. . Of course advanced trueplay has been done, i think the speakers are now a bit to high, and now they're mounted on the wall (a freshly reskimmed wall) I'll never be able to move them again  without death from the missus. I found the sound not to be quite as immersive since I was forced remove the stands & wall mount the era300s, would a slight angle on the speakers help, or will my ears just adjust over time? Agai

Hello,I have trouble with my sonos system in my restaurant.The volume is changing by its own ! most of time reducing, i have same issue with sonos radio and spotify.I have 3 era 300, 2 era 100 and one sonos one, connected on unifi wifi system (no wire connection).I have contact the support many times bu no solution.Have you any idea ?Regards

Hello!This is an issue I posted about a while ago, but it unfortunately is still happening. When I play Atmos music (from Apple Music, Amazon music, and Tidal — all inside the Sonos app) through my Arc Ultra + Era 300 system, the Ambient/Full music playback settings change the sound of the Era 300s even though that setting says it doesn’t apply to Atmos playback. With Ambient selected, the Era 300s are filtered to play a smaller frequency range, just like the setting does when playing stereo music. I have confirmed 100% that I am playing Atmos music and attempted this with multiple services all within the Sonos app, so I know it is not an issue of playing the wrong format. I’m wondering if others have experienced this as well. Thank you!

Have had Sonos running happily for months with all Sonos devices in my IoT VLAN and my android mobile in the Trusted VLAN. All worked perfectly with mDNS and inter VLAN blocking firewall rules.Upgraded Sonos speakers to 93.1-74010 and Android app to 82.00.45 this week and now having issues. Opening the Android app finds my Sonos system and allows normal control. However, let the app sit for a while or go into the background, when you return to the app it reports no products found. Kill the app and reopen, system is found again and the pattern repeats.I don’t think it is a Unifi issue as the system is found and be controlled successfully on initially loading the app?Any help appreciated. 

My app for backing up my music takes about 3 minutes.  Indexing my library in Sonos app takes an hour and a half?  How come it takes so long?

Hey need some help, my Sonos system won’t register to app, I have a bear gen 1 and sub gen 3. I have update wifi, tried resetting system, factory reset. Still I can’t connect to my exciting system

my sonos arc keeps having problems with stuttering audio, it’s cutting out at random times,this is really annoying, everytime I'm watching a program at random points, you can hear the audio cutting out for like half a second, I have an LG tv, and the soundbar has been connected through HDMI,i also have a optical audio output/input but i was told that for me to benefit from Dolby Atmos I should keep my Sonos Arc connected through HDMI instead of optical. thank you in advance for your reply.

Hi as per title - Is anyone having problem with Apple Music Recently Added? I'm getting Something went wrong. Try again.I normally use this ‘feature’ a lot I add new music in Apple Music app and then switch to Sonos to play it. I’ve been away a few days and just got back and I’m now getting this error. Everything else is OK. I tried removing and re adding service but same error. I’ve log the problem with Sonos support. Thanks

I have the PC App: Version 17.2.2 Build 90068190 and iPhone App Build: 83.01.11 - Most of my SONOS hardware is on Version 18.2 (build 94175110) with the exception of the BOOST Version 17.2.4 (build 86675110) and the Guest Playbase Version 17.2.4 (Build 86675110).Does all of the SONOS hardware have to be at the same version level?

Hi SonosI’d like to make a simple feature request to make the Sonos Five a lot more usable in aux input mode. Currently, the Sonos Five would switch into standby within 10 seconds after it stops sensing audio input. This is far too short and aggressive of a time. The speaker would go silent from the fadeout of songs, and then the speaker would miss the first few seconds of the next song as it suddenly springs out of standby. This is even worse with a pair of Fives. Then both speakers go into standby, then one speaker comes out of standby, and only one speaker plays, and then 1-2 seconds later the second speaker wakes up and plays. This happens not just on music, but on movies with quiet scenes too. Can you imagine the annoyance of hearing the speaker go quiet, miss several seconds of dialogue, and suddenly wake up multiple times during a quiet scene? This also happens on voice chats when I finish speaking, and the other person starts speaking, and

Does anyone else have problems playing Spotify through Sonos arc ultra and surrounds with sky glass, I’ll be playing music and it’s cuts out to TV even though TV isn’t on? 

I store all my music on my Mac.  I’m concerned as I don’t see support planned for a native Mac app.  Intel support is ending soon.  How will Sonos access the music on my Mac without a native app?

Last night my Sonos One stereo pair stopped working while playing Sonos Radio. They show up in the app and both show they are connected to my WiFi with a string connection. I tried rebooting and can’t seem to play music through them. All my other Sonos components are working fine. Really frustrating. 

From yesteday Soundcloud service is broken in my S1 setup. Files not encoded properly .. again.. guess its happening to more than me..

Hi everyone,I’m having an issue with my Sonos Beam (Gen 2) randomly disconnecting from WiFi, and I can’t figure out why.Here’s what’s happening:- After rebooting, it connects to WiFi normally- But after about 1–3 days, it loses the connection- When that happens, it completely disappears from both AirPlay and the Sonos appOn my router:- It still shows up in the DHCP client list (so it had an IP assigned)- But it does NOT appear in the active client list anymoreThings I’ve already tried:- Set a DHCP reservation (static IP)- Separated 2.4GHz / 5GHz SSIDs (Beam is on 2.4GHz)- Disabled Smart Connect- Restarted both router and Beam multiple times- Factory reset the Beam and set it up againSome extra context:- It always works fine right after a reboot, so initial connection seems fine- The problem is that it can’t maintain the connection over time- I’d prefer to keep using WiFi

Hi.  I’m curious if anyone out there has any current experience successfully installing the Sonos Controller in a Linux based OS, specifically Zorin.  I say “current” because almost every thing I’ve found on this subject is from some years ago, so just looking for something hopefully a bit more current.I have an old W10 laptop converted to Zorin OS, Zorin because it’s the most Windows like, they say.  When it was running W10 I could run the Sonos Controller and I play music through our Sonos ARC.  I’d like to be able to do that with Zorin if possible.  With the Zorin OS I’ve been able to a point in the installation process where it almost completes the installation but but fails with the following: Any thoughts, comments or questions would be appreciated.  Thank you.

I have a Samsung sound bar and subwoofer Bluetooth… I was hoping to pair a couple era 100’s to broaden my Samsung surround system for a large family room. Can they be paired to the Samsung soundbar which is paired via Bluetooth to the Samsung tv?

Hi all I’m getting an arc ultra for my tv set up , so my existing beam 2 becomes redundant in tv room , and i want to move it to existing other room that has currently 100 stereo pair + sub mini .  this is just  music, nothing is hooked to hdmi - I’m really Not sure how to set up correctly .  thanks 

I have upgraded my broadband with a new router provided by Vodafone. I had to reconnect my Sonos system to the new configuration/wifi name. Majority of Sonos connected without any issues, mini sub and two play ones used as surrounds are proving to be as stubborn as it’s possible to be. The play ones can be added as normal to the surround option and then after 15 seconds become disconnected and have to be factory reset in order get them to connect to the system again. Same with the Sub only it says it’s been “added to my system but might not show up, if so unplug and plug in and continue in settings” needless to say this does nothing, it doesn’t show and is not connected. The sub will connect only if I connect direct to the router with a cable but as soon as the cable is removed the sub disconnects. I’m going round and round in circles and getting absolutely nowhere. The sound bar for my set up is a Sonos beam which is working fine.I have factory reset everything a

SONOS closed this conversation on the community. YET , two years later the issue still exists. Has anyone actually found a fix? And why has SONOS screwed this ump so bad then NOT fix it? See all the screenshots in the closed conversation. I have reset, re-synched, signed in/out, powered up/down  everything.  Is there a real solution?
