Get help and assistance with your Sonos system

After the latest update i can no longer change the time for an alarm or set up a new alarm. All on a Samsung phone. The keyboard disappears before I can type any numbers. Don't people test these updates before they are rolled out?

Hi everyone,I recently moved and I'm trying to set up my Play:5 (Gen 1) on my new Wifi network using the S1 app. It was working perfectly fine a few weeks ago at my old place, but I'm currently stuck in a setup loop.When I start the wireless setup process, the S1 app correctly identifies the Play:5 and proceeds to create the temporary "SONOS" network. I go into my iPhone settings, connect to the "SONOS" network, and confirm I'm connected (the Wi-Fi icon is showing in the top right of my screen).However, when I return to the S1 app, it throws an error telling me I am not connected to the "SONOS" network.Here is what I have already tried to fix it: Factory reset the speaker Deleted, reinstalled, and updated the S1 app to the latest version Tried using a different iPhone Ignored my regular home Wi-Fi network on my phone so it wouldn't auto-reconnect

Can I listen music by wire using Sonos roam via adapter?

Hello Sonos Team and Community,I own multiple Sonos speakers (including One SL) and have been a loyal user for years. Recently, I can no longer play Radio Rock (Finland) on Sonos. Instead of the station, I only get “Welcome to TuneIn” and ads looping endlessly.Here’s what I’ve tried:Removed and re-added TuneIn (New) in the Sonos app Logged in with my TuneIn account and added Radio Rock as a favorite Rebooted speakers, reset network, cleared cache Tried Sonos desktop app and mobile app Verified that the station works in TuneIn’s own appNothing works. Previously, I could add a custom stream URL to Sonos and bypass TuneIn issues, but Sonos removed that feature in recent updates. Dear all, I’ve recently purchased the second ERA 100 for better stereo imaging. If a single one blew me away, eventually, two will set it to stratosphere…Anyway, I am a vinyl afficionado and would like to listen to LPs. I also have a substantial CD collection that I don’t want to get rid of.I bought the Sonos line in adapter and it works perfectly for the CD. Concerning the Turntable, I have a an integrated amp (Advance Acoustics MAP 305 DA II) that has a line out. This means I am able to connect the Turntable and CD into the amp and feed the Sonos via the Line in adapter.So, instead of having to switch on the amp every time I want to listen to the above sources, I was thinking about a sort of an RCA hub to connect all the sources (phono pre-amp included) via the Sonos line in adapter to one of the 100s. I´ve seen some equipment online but I am quite unaware of any specific or reference quality model.Ultimately, I can buy another Sonos line

Hi, thought I would ask here first before contacting Sonos support. I own a variety of era 100s and 300s and a gem 2 beam in different rooms. I can play music directly fly through my tidal app and cast it to whatever speaker with no issue whatsoever. However when I try to play music through the Sonos app and select a speaker it just loads and eventually says it’s having trouble. Interestingly I can play a song straight away in the Sonos app of if I click the three dots and click play now (I think this is some kind of queue function). I tried removing and re authorising my tidal account through the Sonos app but to no avail. Any suggestions would be appreciated.thanks 

 I read a lot in this community about factory resets.  Mostly negative responses to those who factory reset to attempt to resolve an issue.  I totally agree.  My plan is to purchase a friend’s ERA 300.  Is there a procedure that does not require a factory reset to get the 300 to join my system?

Hi, I'm trying to purchase through the sonos.com website but when trying to checkout it keeps saying "enter a valid postcode A99 9AA",. This is the only postcode that works.My poscode is a valid uk postcode.This happens on both paypal and normal checkout.I'm on the uk page so its not a country issue.Any help?

All rooms/products show “no content”.  Have tried rebooting each product, unsuccesfully.  This has happened several times in the last 2 weeks.  I installed a new Arc Ultra 2 weeks ago, unsure if this is related.  Sonos support reset my system yesterday and it worked for a few hours and then returned to the no content status.

Does SONOS have anything in the pipeline to replace TuneIn for customer URL’s?  Tim C

I have a new ERA 300.  It doesn’t pair with an older Move.   Does the new Play(?)100 pair with the 300? 

HelloI own a Beam Gen2; Sub-mini; and two Era300 speakers.Whilst I am reasonably technical I'm not a sound guy, I'm very much plug an play, and want an out of box no messing about experience. The Era300s are not ideally placed as stated on the Sonos website, they are placed in real life scenarios, due to my room they had to be wall mounted 1.4m high on the rear wall, directly opposite the tv and soundbar, yes the tv isn't at 42inches height but there are practical considerations, you can have everything. I follow the trueplay instruction video, yet I feel the system is not balanced, sounds good but missing that final touch do you not only have to walk around the seated area but alcoves and everywhere etc. I realise the sound bar atmos function is virtual, so with the era300s do I have to do do extra configuration, as I said Im not a sound tech engineer, just and end user. Besides things should not be complex right?  

I saw a notice on my Apple Laptop that Sonos will no longer run on Apple silicon.  If this is the case, how will I get this needed update?  Will Sonos push it, or will I have to go to a site and pull it? I expected a more proactive response from Sonos.  Thanks.

Hi there, I’m so completely frustrated. For no apparent reason, my mini sub, and 2 x ONE SL’s have stopped working. All three speakers have a solid white light on but are now not showing in my “Living Room” system. The Arc Ultra is working. (I have an arc ultra, a mini sub and two ONE SL’s). I’ve tried a factory reset on the mini sub and it connected it to the wifi successfully and then at the final hurdle I get a message “Sub not found. Make sure your sub is powered on and connected to wifi” - which it is. During set up I got another saying “you may not see your speaker in your system and if so disconnect the power and reconnect power to finish set up” - I’ve tried that and NOTHING happens at which point my only option seemingly is to start the whole process again. I’m going around in circles.  Cheers.

I am trying to connect my Audio Technica AT-LP60XBT turntable via bluetooth to my Sonos Roam2 (which works fine) but when I try to group it with my ARC sytem or my Play1 the bluetooth connection between the turntable and Roam2 seems to disconnect, even though the BT blue light still shows it is connection. Prior to grouping the Roam2 with either the ARC or Play1, the BT connection is working and the Roam2 is playing the audio from the turntable. Am I doing something wrong to get the turntable signal to come through the Roam2 to get to the ARC and Play1 (grouping all speakers together) or is this something that the Sonos 2 app cannot do?

if I’m playing my 2 x era 100s and era 300 and try to add my playbar (with sub and surrounds) it shows as connected but no sound. I’ve reset everything more than once and it keeps happening. S2 app.also, the app takes ages (several minutes) to find all devices.

I have a Ray with Apple TV, everything works ok except the audio choices. I have the optical connected and airplay works as well. The issue I have is I want the audio to default to the optical, the Apple TV seems to default to the Airplay which is the only way I can have volume control, when I switch back to the optical I loose volume control. The Sono’s app works fine and I can control the ray with other Sono’a in my home. In short is there a way to only have optical audio and control it with the Apple Remote. 

Hi!I owned a Arc + 2xEra 300 + Sub gen 3 setup and it was overwhelming on cinematic performance and average on music - I was missing the middle lows in music performance (which are very present on the demo sounds of sonos, so it's likely a DSP thing not hardware).As Arc Ultra promised better bass due to the new sound force technology, I made the upgrade and... well... I am not satisfied at all. Everything sounds the exact same as before. I did trueplay tuning (tried all three variants), EQ setup etc etc.I get even a little better performance turning the sub off in the mid los but then the deep subs are missing of course.I don't get why my SONOS system is performing so bad on mid-lows but only on music... All is perfect on movies... If sonos would only give us more control over music EQ :( That being said, I was asked by ​@Corry P to create a diagnostic. I created even three and made some trouble

This has been happening ​​​​​for years. Different phones, desktop or mobile, different zone players, doesn't matter. Ever since one of the updates it has been a constant issue.Today for example I have a bunch of backup alarms set. The first one goes off and I go to access them to turn off the rest and the app shoes no alarms. I have many times set, and many that should be showing as off. … and same thing with setting the alarms… There should be ton of times already there to turn on but it shows none yet when trying to add one it says no more alarms can be set because I’m maxed, which is probably true. I expected to see a ton of complaints on the board when I searched where someone said do xyz so it doesnt happen but seems to be unique to something I am doing or my set up?​​

Hello all, I hope someone can help me.I noticed the other day that a few albums in my library had suddenly split into multiple albums. At first I thought there may have been an update that had changed the way certain albums were tagged. I did some rudimentary checks on the album tags (I use Tag & Rename) but couldn't see any issues. However on further examination I noticed that the multiple of the albums had the same track in them see images below.Multiple of one album.Only one track (The same track) showing in both albumsYou can see that a look into the folder for this album shows 11 tracks. 

I decided to leave the Beta program. I took the relevant steps and got an email saying I had been removed from the program.I factory reset all my devices. I deleted the Beta Apps from my iPad, iPhone and iMac. I installed the regular Apps on my iPad, iPhone and iMac.I managed to connect my new Sonos Era 100 and everything worked fine. BUT THEN, I tried to add the other devices, and a message popped up saying I needed to update the (non-Beta) app. I clicked on it but it wanted to instal the Beta App again!!. This was before I removed Test Flight.I went to Test Flight and removed the Sonos Beta App. I then deleted test Flight altogether. It gave me the same message about updating the (non-Beta) app. When I clicked the button, it told me I needed to instal Test Flight. Clearly not a good idea, since this would take me back to the Beta App.After a long discussion with the person on chat, it turns out the have to escalate the issue to the Betas team and out wo
