Get help and assistance with your Sonos system

Hello all. New to the Sonos ecosystem and an having this issue as described by a previous post. The post was locked with. I solution being provided and I have searched far and wide for a solution. All of my Sonos speakers, no matter the room they are in, will go into a “perma-mute” showing a solid green light. Only way to unmute is to physically touch the volume on the speaker or to go into the app and tap the unmute button. Please help!

One-week-old Sonos Arc Ultra makes a noticeable popping sound when navigating in/out of content. It’s not the loud pop reported earlier this year, but still audible and annoying. Factory reset twice with no change. Happens with all content types (stereo, 5.1, Atmos, YouTube, Netflix, etc.). Setup: Apple TV 4K, LG C1, bitstream input, passthrough output, eARC, Sonos HDMI cable. No speech enhancement enabled. What are my options/next steps? Example captured on video:  

Is anyone else experiencing a crackling noise with their Arc Ultra? I upgraded from the Arc to the Arc Ultra, which is connected to a pair of Era 300s and two subs. The crackling sound has been intermittent, mainly occurring when streaming movies.

I’ve been using my Sonos setup for a while now.Overall it works well, but I’ve had a few connection dropouts here and there.Nothing constant, just occasional issues that need a restart.I was curious if others have had a similar experience or if it’s been fully stable for you.

I accidentally thumbs down on a favorite artist’s song and now none of the artist’s songs play. How can I correct the thumbs down and restore the artist.

Hi everyone,I’m looking for some help with a persistent connection issue. My Sonos Arc Ultra paired with Era 100 & Era 300 for surround constantly disconnects from the WiFi and disappears from the app, even though both the speaker and my phone are sitting right next to the router.Troubleshooting I’ve already done:• Tested with multiple different phones (same result).• Verified that the phone and speakers are on the same network/frequency and have a static IP address.• The only fix: If I provide a wired ethernet connection to the Arc Ultra, the app stays connected and everything works. As soon as I go wireless, it drops.Has anyone else experienced this with the Arc Ultra? I have tried to pair multiple remotes so that I can adjust volume. It shows that it has worked and it works for about a minute then stops. Looking for suggestions 

I recently bought a Sony PS5, and when playing games, the audio intermittently drops on my Sonos Arc (with Sub and 2 surrounds connected) for a second, and then keeps happening.It’s enough to be really annoying. I have changed the HDMI cable and looked at the settings on the Playstation and on my Sony TV, and all seems OK. Audio is fine through my Apple TV and Nintendo Switch, this is just with the Playstation. Any ideas how to fix?

I am absolutly fed up of having to reboot my router to access Sonos from my phone. I have a VPN, but not only do I tunnel it, I turn it off, I restart my phone, but no, if I want to run Sonos from my phone I nearly always have to reboot my router. Honestly, I love the sound but the application and connectivity, I can never recommend this product or even contemplate any upgrades. 

I’ve just purchased a Sonos Beam (gen 2) and this is paired with a Samsung 55QN95B on the supplied TV stand.  The TV stand protrudes in front of the TV, so I’ve been trying to work out the best placement for the Beam.  Either, in front of the TV stand, directly on the cabinet (although this looks a bit odd), or resting on top of the TV stand - looks much better as the beam “merges” with the TV.  However, I’m not sure if this compromises the sound, so was wondering if there are any “feet” that can be used to raise the Beam about 1cm.  This would mean the Beam can sit over the stand without resting on it.

I have 2 speakers which stubbornly refuse to allow the full 45 second Truplay sequence to complete due to back ground noise. Is this a thing? can you counter the background noise message? I have done the tune thing in a row which is totally silent of background noise and its driving me nuts 

Hello Sonos Team and Community,I own multiple Sonos speakers (including One SL) and have been a loyal user for years. Recently, I can no longer play Radio Rock (Finland) on Sonos. Instead of the station, I only get “Welcome to TuneIn” and ads looping endlessly.Here’s what I’ve tried:Removed and re-added TuneIn (New) in the Sonos app Logged in with my TuneIn account and added Radio Rock as a favorite Rebooted speakers, reset network, cleared cache Tried Sonos desktop app and mobile app Verified that the station works in TuneIn’s own appNothing works. Previously, I could add a custom stream URL to Sonos and bypass TuneIn issues, but Sonos removed that feature in recent updates. Hi All, I have an extremely frustrating situation with a new Arc Ultra - when watching content from my Shield via the Brava e-ARC the status light will turn on white (I have it set to off) then the volume will jump up and down for a minute or two. Sometimes it stops and the light goes out again, sometimes the power needs to be pulled. I’ve spoken to support, been through troubleshooting (reboot, update, disabled IR and touch controls etc etc) but this is an intermittent issue and it will go away after a reboot/reset for a few hours, or even days so hard to get in touch with support when the fault is occurring. It is driving me mad - and sounds very similar to the issue here so I’m starting to wonder if there is a hardware issue: Anyone out there got any good ideas? Thanks.

every time I connect my play base to the Internet and when I disconnect it, it does not appear in my app

I am facing an issue where I cannot add a factory reset  play:1 & play:3 to my existing system. When I go to add the play:3 I get this message:We couldn’t find any Sonos products on {WI-FI Name} so we can’t set up your Play:3. Try again later This is very weird because There is a Ray, Sonos Roam and 2x One’s and an existing Play:3 already registered on the WiFi network. What might cause this? I’ve tried multiple resets, power cycles, wifi & direct ethernet connection. Another post suggested that it would be best to forget the wifi network and update it. So powered off all registered products and wired the existing Play:3 to my router. I powered on all the speakers and updated the network first through the Roam then the Ray (the ones are grouped to the Ray for surrounds). The app shows the “Add your Play:3” banner, but when I try to set it up the error in quotes happens. I’ve tried multiple andr

I have very old Play 3 and Play 5 and brought them out of storage. Can they connect to wifi? If so: how?not tech savvy

Hello,,,I’m noticing lots of issues playing Amazon Music through Sonos speakers, anybody else experiencing this or know if it’s a known (and accepted issue by Sonos)? Issues with shuffle; constantly cycles through a small selection of songs in a playlists.Refusal to play songs later in a playlist; I manually select a songs but each and every time, the first song of the playlist plays, not the song selected. Regards Ted

Hi all, wondering if anybody could help me I have just purchased a Sonos arc, my tv only has an arc port and not an earc port. My tv model is a Sony KD 55x8509c,it is also running thru sky stream and I have set the audio out to pass through and also tried Dolby digital plus.the problem I’m having is I can’t seem to get Dolby digital plus to come through, should it say Dolby digital plus when playing on the Sonos app? As mine just says Dolby digital 5.1 so not sure if am getting the full experience.

hello, I'm fooling with my mac’s wifi private address settings.options are off, fixed, rotating.seems that Sonos doesn't like the ‘rotating’ option, which I believe is more secure.Am I missing a setting/option, or is this the way it needs to be? thanks

I have a SONOS 1SL, that has been working fine for 3 years. Now it is not.  After spending hours on the phone with tech support, they said it is my modem, but they could not tell me what modem to purchase.  They could only give me a few names of what NOT to buy. Not very helpful.  Any suggestions?  I am with Bell for internet

I have two roam two speakers and want to daisy them together to play off my phone or laptop.Went through and got them on the app and connected to my wifi. The speakers don't show in my app and can't find them (added through add speaker/ device button) Any help would be appreciated. 

Arc Ultra and Era 100’s  Anyone else have this setup and noticing that the Era 100’s as rears are doing less work with the Arc Ultra when compared to the standard Arc? I’m barely noticing any audio coming from the rears even with the surround volume turned up to maximum.  I swapped my original Arc back with the Era 100 surrounds and tested the same Atmos movies on the Arc and the Arc Ultra, and there is a significant difference/reduction in the signals being sent to the Era 100’s in the rear channels with the Arc Ultra.  Increasing the “TV Level” setting for Surround Audio in the Sonos app increases the front surround volume coming from the Arc Ultra but the signals coming out of the ERA 100 rears are almost non existent.  Is this behavior the result of how the Arc Ultra processes surround channels, and should be considered normal operation?

Dear Sonos team,I love 7 of my 9 Sonos speakers. Please help me love my Era 300s.I recently upgraded my surround setup with the Arc ultra and two Era 300s. I did this for two reasons:1 I wanted a better home cinema experience with Dolby Atmos. This is working great.  2 I wanted a better music listening experience. This was what convinced my wife that we should get the era 300s, and she is less than happy (I am sad also).The Era 300s are marketed as premium surround speakers, but when set up as surrounds their main driver is turned off. This would make perfect sense if you could seamlessly switch to a stereo pair for music with the main driver on. Unfortunately, you have to completely reconfigure and re-Trueplay the system to switch between music or watching a movie. Please please Sonos team, could you answers the following questions:1 Will it be possible (with a future update) to save two different configurati
