Get help and assistance with your Sonos system

I am trying to do an outdoor set up for a projector. The equipment id like to use is:projectorscreenroku stickMove2 x 2Roam2 x 2 i cannot get the projector or Roku to connect to Sonos system. I purchased the amp, thinking that would solve the problem, alone with an hdmi audio extractor, but the audio still played through the projector.  Any tips??  

I’m having a super frustrating issue with my Era 300s stereo paired to a Sub Mini. Every time I AirPlay from my phone, I get the spinning wheel followed by an “Unable to connect to [room]” error. Hi there,Just acquired a SONOS ACE. Great so far. Except when I tried to connect it to my TV settings. I have a Samsung the Frame 2022. Apparently my new ACE isn’t compatible with my “old” 2014 PlayBar... Very sad. But worth, I don’t see how to connect ACE directly to my recent TV The Frame… anyone knows how to solve that?

Hello, I’ve had Symfonisk and Play:1 in my system without major issues, but after connecting a Playbase this weekend, it’s only been misery. I bought it knowing it would have issues with the wifi-card based on the know issues (and the seller said he issues connecting with it), but thought cabling it should work. But even connected with ethernet and optical from my tv, it’s been wreaking havoc with the already connected speakers in the app. Its unstable both on its own and making the app crash, sometimes it connects, othertimes not, cutting in and out. Tried disabling the wifi, but then it stopped connecting at all and I had to reset it. Trueplay makes the app crash and the Playbase unavailable. I’ve tried over and over again, resetting it and adding it again, but it just won’t work properly.  Now I’ve unplugged it and added the other speakers again, so the app and the other speakers work fine again. Is this a known issue? Just bought a ERA300 and set it up an hour ago. Usually I listen to music from Spotify but I also have made a few playlist with own produced music, imported to my iPhone as mp3 files. I create a playlist in Spotify on my computer with these files and when I connect my iPhone to the computer it synchronizes the iPhone with the changes I made, the playlist with local files pops up in the iPhone as well. But now I have tried both the “normal” way to listen to these local files from the iPhone via ERA300 connected to WIFI which not worked, and I did not expect it to work either.Then I pushed the small “bluetooth connect” button on the back of ERA300 and connected my iPhone via bluetooth. It still refused to play my mp3 files, when I click on them in Spotify on my iPhone absolutely nothing happens. My thoughts on this is that maybe the WIFI still is connected to ERA300, and this might be the reason that it does not work? I have a surround sound system.  Every day, although music still plays the system disappears form the app and I go through the network update routine.  This is getting so regular that it is more than a nuisance.  Does anyone know how to fix this?  Thanks.

I have an issue with Sonos skipping ONLY when playing songs from my digital music library.I am at my wits end and ready to scrap Sonos after a year of frustration and troubleshooting.Until last fall, my home library (80 GB of mp3s) played just fine. Suddenly (sometime between October and November 2024), songs would play about 1/3 to 1/2 of the way through and then skip to the next, sometimes it would play just a few seconds. Sometimes it just stops playing altogether. It will be fine for a few songs and then all of a sudden start skipping. It seems to get worse, skipping sooner and more often (until I get annoyed and turn it off). It ONLY affects playing songs from my iTunes music library. There have been no other issues with any other service, including Sonos Radio, Amazon, Spotify; they all play just fine.My system includes 2 x Play:5, 2 x Play:3, Play:1, Sonos Move. Hi! After reading different posts, I’m trying to use SVC to forget the app missing features, like the phone-locked controls. Thanks to @nik9669a for his suggestion and details, because I thought SVC also sent my conversations to the cloud and it seems it doesn’t.During my first hours trying, I’ve to say that it understands my Spanish-accent English good enough for simple commands. I can turn on the TV and rise the volume, but for me is not natural, as English is not my mother tongue. Also, he (Esposito) never understands the names of my playlists, because they are in Spanish and plays whatever crosses his electronic mind. I’m discovering interesting and very unknown music, by the way 😅, but it is not the topic. So, I kindly ask Sonos to include Spanish as a new language to speak with SVC. After the last update, my Sub G3 that I use with my ARC now sounds weaker and I have to increase the volume of the sub from the application when before I didn't even have to do it. The worst part is that if I turn off the Sub G3, the ARC sounds with more bass than the Sub itself.

I am heavily invested in Sonos, but I’ve just about had enough with it. I have probably spent in total several weeks of my life trying to fix random issues with it.The latest issue I have, I bought an Arc Ultra and 2 Era 300s to go in my lounge to replace an existing arc and 2 One SLs. They would not connect, lots of issues, hours on the phone to support (which by the way I’m STILL waiting to hear back from with a solution!). After a bit of Copilot help, I think i fixed the issue, which was to enable IGMP on my Draytek Vigour router. I thought I might have finally resolved the issue. However, this in turn has caused another issue, which is to stop a pair of Fives (and a Sub) set up in a stereo pair from working.One of the Fives connects and plays, but the other constantly shows as an issue annd no longer connected along with the Sub. Pandora always skips. I have a pandora app on my iphone and it plays perfectly there, but on sonos it plays 2-3 songs, gives an error and stops. Is anything wrong with sonos?

2 questions. Can I get rid of/delete TV from your sources and delete Your services completely? also, will the thumbnails ever work properly? Or how do I get them to work properly? 

The last few days someone has been able to get into my Sonos system and control it.  I was on the phone with Sonos today but they don’t know what is going on.  They had me doing the diagnostics many times today.  They are lost.  I have changed all my passwords to my Wifi and Sonos.  It didn’t help.  We have a house wide system and they keep getting on and turning the outdoor system to full volume.  It is bugging the neighbors.  We have 4 amps powering a home theatre and two subs in the backyard.  We have a theatre night planned for tomorrow but this may be done.  I am going to power it down for now but I need help.  I found this on youtube Is this true.  While I was typing they just did it again.

Deciros que seguramente se encuentren muchas personas en el mismo problema que tuve yo, por eso quiero compartirlo. Un día mi SONOS ONE dejo de conectarse a la red sin mas… después de muchas investigaciones, de hablar con servicio tecnico que me recomendó hablar con el proveedor de mis conexiones porque tenia una configuración del router o red muy complicada que realizar… Ese dia descubrí el problema… es una tontería. Todos los extensores de red wifi modernos vienen con 2 bandas 2,4 ghz y 5g. pues el sonos one no reconoce la 5g solo puede configurarse por la 2,4ghz. Solo desconectando momentáneamente la 5g se soluciona el problema de inmediato. No hace falta hacer nada mas, ni llevar todo a ajustes de fabricas ni nada… es super sencillo, lo que antes estaba horas para buscar sin llegar a buen puerto, ahora en un segundo se conecta… solo es eso, 2,4 ghz… Espero ayudar a mucha gente. Saludos Cordiales. Moderator edit: adding Google Translation

Sub mini is connected but no sub sound connected to Sonos Beam gen 2

Hi everyone, I have a Sonos Playbar that shows a solid white light immediately after plugging in the power (not flashing). Nothing else happens — it doesn’t boot or respond. I connected a JTAG interface and it only outputs “NAND Boot…”. It seems like the u-boot bootloader might be corrupted or not starting properly. Has anyone encountered this issue before or managed to recover a Playbar in this state?Would it be possible to reflash the u-boot using a programmer, and if so, what tools or procedure would be needed? Thanks in advance for any help or advice!

I was listening this morning when the speakers made a pop/crackle sound and audio stopped. Receiver still plays with other inputs or apple air play. So it’s the port unit. I need suggestions on trouble shooting the port device.

I had long ago set up two Sonos households with the same email, and they have the same account number. (They are located on different physical networks). This used to be allowed, but causes problems these days (eg Alexa).Today, it is causing me problems, as I moved my Roam and Move to one of these households (from another household) and now they refuse to Register (due to the upnpovertls quarantine problem). Additionally, the Privacy & Security settings show wrong, and do not let me change Authorization, UPNP and Guest options.I tried changing the email address from my phone, thinking this might “split” my account, but it has made zero difference to the app, and the devices still refuse to register.Can anyone here help me? I’m not confident that regular support will even understand if I call in, this is hardly a mainline scenario. When I pause for about 10 seconds and hit play again, It says it cannot play this content and either restarts the song or skips to the next song in the queue. Also the scrubbing bar gets out of sync with the music. It will be near the end of a song and the bar will still be in the middle. I am on the latest app version and all of my speakers are on the latest firmware version.

Hi All, Last week I received a Refurbished Sub Mini from Sonos (ordered directly from Sonos). This was added to my current Sonos Beam 2 + 2x Sonos Era 100s setup.Within minutes of getting it all configured, I noticed a deep popping noise coming from the Sub. This occurs randomly (I have got a couple of videos), but I’d say on average once every 5 minutes.
