Is brain fm available as a service in Sonos?

I have a combination of SONOS (Amp and One) and Apple speakers.  For various reasons, I almost exclusively use my computer as the “host” and airplay to the devices.  All the SONOS devices go to “sleep” after a period of time (several hours) even with music playing.  At that point they are “stuck” on the Apple Airplay selection list and I have to restart Apple Music to be able to select again.  Is this common?

When will Sonos offer Apple Shortcut actions that allow users to stop music playback on Sonos when leaving the house or start playback from a specific music source or playlist when entering the house? Shortcut tasks for the development team:- Start Sonos playback- Stop Sonos playback- Select/play Sonos music source- Select/play Sonos playlist What is the current status of the review process, and when is the integration expected to go live?

Why is the only option to adjust the volume control, on the app, is to drag the slider? It’s a cumbersome process and invariably over adjusts. Using airplay you can adjust the volume just by touching the speaker, making it easier to make small adjustments. Please can this be included on the Sonos app. 

HiI have Sonos since around 2017. Since two weeks I have a new computer with Windows 11 and now I am unable to use the Sonos Music Library on the Windows App (Sonos Controller for PC). Error messages:Sonos was unable to add the music folder. Please check that the path to the folder, and the username and password if needed, are correct. Reason: Access to the shared folder "\\XY" is denied.or"\\XY" is no longer available. I have a Samsung S25 phone running Android 16 and oneUI 8.5.  Last Monday, 11 May 2026, Sonos updated their app.Since then I can not manage alarms in the app.  The only way to manage alarms is in a PC app, in my case MacOS.  There’s a catch, the MacOS app is intel based and M1 Macs use Rosetta to use it.  The Rosetta translated app will soon be withdrawn.Sonos Support take two hours to get to the point where they just shrug their shoulders and point toward the soon to be withdrawn PC app.We invest on Sonos products because of a perceived notion that it’s good an reliable.  In recent times Sonos has become a laughing stock.Has anyone else had a similar experience? Regards,Kevin J

I am trying to connect Sonos playbase for the first time and want it ot work wirelessly with Alexa. When we connect via ethernet I can play Amazon music on it . But when I disconnect the Ethernet it does not work .

Pair the WH-1000XM5 to the TV. Connection succeeds.Settings -> Sound → Sound Out -> set to Bluetooth Audio Device. Audio routes to headphones. 3. Within ~5 seconds, the TV silently reverts Sound Out back to HDMI ARC Device (the Beam) on its own. Audio is back on the Beam, headphones go silent. 4. Disabling SIMPLINK (HDMI-CEC) on the LG side at Settings -> General -> Devices -> HDMI Settings does NOT stick — the toggle re-enables itself within seconds while the Beam is on the HDMI bus.

I have a sound issue that originates with my Panasonic UB 820-K blu-ray player.  It is dropping audio during playback and the fix is to use the dual hdmi outputs from the blu-ray.  One video hdmi out to the my TCL QM8L tv, and one audio hdmi out to the Sonos soundbar. Well the Sonos Arc Ultra only has one earc hdmi input.  How do I run a non-earc audio hdmi from my blu-ray player to the Arc Ultra? Thx

I have a LG OLED TV and ARC Ultra.  I have had this combination for almost 2 years with no issues.Recently, I have an issue where I turn off the TV and in a few seconds it turns back on.  This can happen multiple times, or sometimes only once.  But it does persist.The configuration and connections have not changed.My online research indicates a probable issue with a SONOS update that has triggered this issue.Does anyone have a suggestion?

I have a number of different alarms. I would like to configure transient groups for those alarms. Some alarms should group certain speakers. Other alarms should group different speakers. I can’t set up a group “beforehand” that is appropriate for all types of alarms.  it seems like there should be some sort of “select speakers to group” when setting up alarms, but strangely you can set up alarms on only one speaker at a time. And if you set up the same alarm on multiple speakers, they don’t “sync” properly. 

My beam GEN one has stopped working. It doesn’t have any light or indication of power and will not reset.

If you don’t like the settings after the test, feel free to adjust them to your own taste afterwards.My recommendation is: perform a fresh TruePlay calibration, then test it with your favorite song and adjust your EQ settings so the song sounds best to you personally. EQ preferences vary a lot. some people prefer more treble, others a bit less. To match the bass, you'll find a step in this calibration video.For me TruePlay quick worked the best. Since the app updates I cannot connect my Play5 gen 1 to either the S1 or SONOS app. I have a mixed system with older speakers and newer ARC and Sub woofer. The other speakers are in other rooms. The 5 is the only one that gets momentarily seen in the S1 app and it automaticallty switches to the 5GZ  SONOS app and doesnt appear there either.

Hi - I have a mix of old and not so old speakers (Soundbar, Play One, Play 2, One Gen 2) and operating my Music library (iTunes) through my iMAC ………. and S2 Controller (I was advised on a remote session with Sonos Technician) to install S2 rather than S1). For some months (since a Sonos update?) I’ve not been able to correctly sync my music.Problems I now show on all devices (2 iPhones and the iMAC) duplicated Imported Playlists.  I can play either of any particular duplicated playlist through the iMAC ……….but not through the Controller on either phone.This has given me the run around for some time and tbh getting fed up with it.Happy to get this sorted on S2 or AS1, if someone can help overcome the issue, or alternatively to install a 3rd party app that works for all devices

If anyone has sonos playing their jellyfin music please share how.  Jellyfin is so awesome i find it almost impossible to believe there is no solution.  I must be missing something big.  But after hours of reading around and looking at ports and multicasting and reading about dlna and upnp i feel lost.  (6) play ones (1) playbar (1) movejellyfin running on truenas scale with port 1900/udp open.  i see nothing in the sonos app about jellyfin or dlna or upnp.  i’m tempted to create a smb share to try to share the files directly??  ​@RenegadeAndy did you ever work anything out?

I need to start completely over and wipe my current system. The instructions online offer steps, but those steps don’t align with what I see in my app. Does anyone have detailed instructions on how to do this. I’ve spent thousands of dollars and countless hours trying to get this product to work, and I’m so very frustrated. I need this systems to work given the resources I’ve put into it, so I need to start over and rebuild and hope that is the solution to ultimately making my system work. 

I have an AMP that died in a suspected power surge. I have it halfway disassembled and have good pictures. I have access to multimeter and soldering gun, but have little electronics experience.  is anyone here willing to run me through the at I should be testing or hoping to replace? I’d like to give this a shot before I drop the cash to replace this unit or find a different solution.   

I have a surround sound system of a PlayBar, Sub and two Play:1 speakers for TV and streaming. Since the last update I’ve had some issues.When trying to mute the sound or change the volume via the buttons on the Play:1s, the green light comes on then goes out and nothing happens. If I restart the speakers, they will work for a short while and then fail again. They are performing normally otherwise and are visible in the app as part of the system.I just remembered another issue. When I restart my Mac, the Sonos app can’t find the speakers until I go to System Settings > Privacy & Security > Local Network and flip the Sonos switch off and on. I know this is a known issue as I found the answer here when it first happened. I don’t know if that is an Apple or Sonos responsibility.Finally, just to say that when logging in here, there was an error message I didn’t record (sorry) but a page refresh let me in. Anyway, thanks for reading this. Upgraded my TV. SAMSUNG QN55QZFDAFXZA QLED which does not have a dedicated optical port. It has the eARC/HDMI port. Purchased a eARC/ARC to Optical Audio Converter ESY266 in order to make the connection to the optical port on my PLAYBAR. Successful link and setup of my PLAYBAR and PLAY 1 speakers. Volume control via the SONOS app works perfect no issue. My question/issue is this….I cannot control the SONOS volume via the SAMSUNG  Smart TV Solar Remote Controller BN59-01432J A. This SAMSUNG remote is universal. Reading the details of the Audio converter it states  “this product does not support CEC functionality The optical interface cannot be used to control volume throught the TV remote” 

hi i have a sonos move 2 6 months old but its never been able to charge via the base usb c is fine but not the base ive just bought a new power supply for it 45w 5v incase that was faulty i have an orange light come on for ten seconds then it goes off as it should but still no charge any help or advise please
