Get help and assistance with your Sonos system

HiSonos arc ultra and sub gen 3, thought I would try a trueplay retune, in particular the advanced method on my iPhone 17pro.Runs the tuning all be it seems to skip the listening position step, after the retune doesn’t save, I have no trueplay tab to turn on/off.Tried quick tune same thing. system/app fully up to date.Any help please.🙏 

At about 0830 hrs GMT today my Sonos S1 system suddenly stopped playing. I was prompted to open S2 app as the only device found was my Roam 2 which uses S2. I have done all the usual things several times: Unplugged router, unplugged all devices and then re-connected them all,  pressed buttons to get orange lights flashing, but this time nothing resolves the issue.  It appears that something may have been initiated by Sonos, by accident or design, to encourage (force) S1 users to move over to S2.  Is anyone else experiencing this? 

I think this topic was brought up a year ago:  But I’m still having this same problem.  I have “Song Number” selected in “Sort Folders By” but the tracks in any album with multiple artists are ordering the tracks by Artist and not by the track number.Can anyone help me with this?

Ubiquity UDM Pro, 8 access points, 3 switches. It is configured well and per Sonos’s recommendations.Network has been reliable and the other 100+ devices work perfectly. Sonos speakers are working, but they no longer show up in the app and I am unable to “find” them in the app. Sonos support goes through their script, then says call support - they want to dive into my network, but this was set up and working for months on the exact same conffiguraition so I don’t suspect the network. Support has not yet had any insight why the setup is gone in the app. There is not way to save the configuration and I did a lot of setup on the sound bar.Frustrated. Anyone have a solution? Same issue? I have power cycled the Sonos speakers, what else can I try? TIA GEON

I work in a corporate building and have been changing between using Auracle and Spotify on the Sonos music app. I found that sometimes the Sonos speakers just stops playing the music on Spotify and resets the queue back to the first song. I spoke to the customer service who said that there is somebody else using the Spotify account, however we only have this Spotify access through the Sonos account and so I cannot “sign all out” or change the Spotify password. I also suspect that because this is my workplace that nobody else is connected to it. Some days it wont work at all, whilst on other days its fine all day. Is there a limit to the amount of tracks I can listen to on Spotify through Sonos? How can I stop this from happening as its really annoying.

Tonight I have just cancelled my Sonos Hd subscription (only had it a few days) as I  cannot get it to work… I have tried rebooting the router and disconnected everything to no avail tried updating the app etc honestly I think I have exhausted everything….. thinking why am I getting this mad over something that should work without any issues…. So I cancelled it… no HD whatsoever… even though it says I am subscribed to itunless anyone here has a solution I have missed… I bought a pair of Sonos 300 era speakers that sound ok… thinking they’d would be better in HD but obviously no good if it doesn’t work.. I still have just over 3 weeks subscription left can anyone help.. then I may re subscribe….. When I look at the forums I see issues… so it’s obviously not just me..     

Is there a simple way to pair my Sonos speakers with my iPhone? Reviews of the apps indicate difficulty, costs and primitive development. 

I am not sure where this topic now sits in terms of complaints, but I have now cracked connecting my Music Library to my Sonos app.1 - Your music library must not be in a sub folder. I save my Library directly to the D drive on my computer2 - Go to your Music Library and right click so that you can see the properties 3 - Go to sharing  4 - Click on Share and ensure your system in “shared” and must be set to Read/Write - you will get a 913 error otherwise 5 - Ensure or system is sharing Media 

Spotify’s “mix” feature has been out for over 6 months now, When will this be usable for Sonos? IMO, It’s pretty wild that such a game changing feature for Sonos-Spotify users is not even on the radar for Sonos. Prove me otherwise please 🙌(I have searched for some time to find if it is even on Sonos’ radar)

Hi everyone,I recently moved and I'm trying to set up my Play:5 (Gen 1) on my new Wifi network using the S1 app. It was working perfectly fine a few weeks ago at my old place, but I'm currently stuck in a setup loop.When I start the wireless setup process, the S1 app correctly identifies the Play:5 and proceeds to create the temporary "SONOS" network. I go into my iPhone settings, connect to the "SONOS" network, and confirm I'm connected (the Wi-Fi icon is showing in the top right of my screen).However, when I return to the S1 app, it throws an error telling me I am not connected to the "SONOS" network.Here is what I have already tried to fix it: Factory reset the speaker Deleted, reinstalled, and updated the S1 app to the latest version Tried using a different iPhone Ignored my regular home Wi-Fi network on my phone so it wouldn't auto-reconnect

I have arc ultra, era 300 as surrounds and brand new sub 4 (which replaced sub mini) . I had mixed feelings regarding sub 4, comparing to sub mini, so I tried frequency sweep with surrounds off. I found that sub 4 works perfectly at 30hz but then there is hole between 33- 45hz, there is almost no rumble (in fact sub drivers stop) Checked in some places in room (sub crawl etc), with on and off trueplay, with loudness off and on - there is always poor response between 33-45 hz. Sub rumbling at 30hz, the rumbling is gone and then at circa 45 returns….To be clear: made multiple tests (after full factory reset, fresh advanced truplay calibration and after last update), and tested sub with stereo par of symfonisk bookshelf gen 2. Always there is  hole around 35 - 45 with total lack of drivers response at part of frequency range (in music when cutoff frequency matters and in only LFE (dolby 5.1) sub frequency tests.I understand that room geometry matters, and maybe truplay mu

For some reason my play bar began emoting a repeating tone. The play bar wasn’t being used at the time. None of the Sonos devices were in use.

I've disassembled my Sonos ZP90 ZonePlayer to replace some capacitors on the power board that I believe are preventing it from powering on. However, when I got inside and inspected the board more closely, I spotted a couple of things I'd like to get some advice on. The red circles show where some solder has bridged between some components. Is this intentional? Would this be enough to stop it working? Can anyone check their power board to see if they have the same? On the left, the three pins are for a TLV43 transistor.Thanks

My inline service isn't coming over the Sonos speakers, even though it shows the sound is playing in the app

I recently bought a new Nighthawk router.  I have an Arc on one tv and a Beam on another.Both speakers are still working great.When I open the Sonos App, neither shows up.From what I can tell, I need to change the WIFI info stored on the Arc & Beam to the new Nighthawk.I can’t seem to make that happen using the app itself, but have read that if I plug the Arc into the Nighthawk with an ethernet cable, it will transfer the new Wifi info to the Arc, which in turn will update the Beam.I will then be able to see them in the app.Sound right?I don’t want cause problems since they’re working fine at the moment.Thanks in advance for your help.Steve

Is the new Era 100 SL compatible for stereo pairing with any older speaker?

I’ve been facing issues contacting my Sonos devices and getting them stay on my Wi-Fi network, tried factory reset, app refresh , changing ownership too ( to a separate account) . The app connects and drops as it pleases. The issue may be with my router config. I travel frequently and carry my speakers , so the networks change . Presently in Japan, using a tp link 841 router , all my other devices work just fine it’s just Sonos that’s such a pain🤬

For my home theater, should I go with the ultimate immersive set with Arc Ultra or with AVR? I don’t know if my rooms 7 ft drop ceiling with a 24-inch wide AC trunk running through it(covered with drop ceiling) will allow for the speakers to perform their best.

 Is there an option in the app to change a single tap to play to a double tap to play?  Too often when I’m fiddling around in the queue my finger starts a track when my intent was to scroll up or down a bit.  If I could choose Double Tap to play that would not happen while scrolling.

Questions from a white-haired old granny who’s not great on technical jargon.I’ve had a Sonos system in my house for some years: S1 controller, 2 Play3 speakers and a sound bar, plus a Connect box linked to a Denon CD player and speakers. Accessed via a Mac mini (running Tahoe 26.3.1) and the Sonos app on an iPad and iPhone.For some months I have not been able to access my music library either on Mac mini or portable devices. I gather this problem has been raised before but I haven’t seen an answer.Questions:I gather I can upgrade to Sonos S2 – but will the Denon no longer fit?Do I have to replace the speakers? If this is the case I think it’s a very poor do.I have a Synology NAS drive – I’ve seen comments about using this but don’t understand where it fits in.

Can we please get the balance option on the settings back.
