Get help and assistance with your Sonos system

After the latest update i can no longer change the time for an alarm or set up a new alarm. All on a Samsung phone. The keyboard disappears before I can type any numbers. Don't people test these updates before they are rolled out?

Hi All, ​"I upgraded from the Sonos Beam 2 to the Sonos Arc Ultra. I noticed that the sound coming directly from the soundbar is flat. When paired with the subwoofer, the bass is actually worse than it was with the Beam 2. It seems like the crossover is poorly calibrated out of the box. There is too big of a gap between the soundbar and the sub. With the Beam, everything was much more balanced. For such an expensive setup, the sound quality is not satisfactory. Perhaps Sonos should update the firmware."

I have had a Beam with Ones in a stereo pair working rock solid for a few years. I also have a Five and a Move 2 and have had no issues at all. I’ve just added 2x Era 100s and a Sub mini to my setup. The Era 100s are in a stereo pair with the sub in one room (my office)At least once a day, the stereo pair drops/breaks down, with music just coming from one Era 100. The only way i can get it back together is to power cycle the speakers. I use the Sonos app mainly to play music but occasionally use Airplay and my Connect+Turntable. I’ve not noticed any cause+effect with the chosen source and stereo pair drops.My office has the router located in it, so the wifi signal is full strength. I have no other issues with my network or speakers.Any ideas why this is happening and how i resolve it please?

Since Sonos update in February 4 out of my 6 x Sonos Connects now only play on very low (almost inaudible) volume.Anybody else with this issue or any solution found for the problem?

sonos beam disconnecting surround play1 speakers and sub from my wifireset and re-adding 2x play1 and sub to my accounts via S2 app works as a stereo-pair with sub. adding these speakers to my beam as a surround speaker and sub worked but now the play1 and sub units disconnect from my networkso others here have had the question which goes unanswered; so it might be a transient outage?was working and though I think there haven’t been changes to my network, it seems that now the speakers are disconnecting from the network….

Greetings i recently bought 2 era 300 to place them as surrounds, replacing my old one Sl's. The room is wide but there is an obstacle a pillar in left side of the room. I tried to draw the room. is placing the era behind the pillar on the marked yellow spot will reduce it's effect.And changing angel of it will help or it is a complete dead spot.any other options of mounting on wall that can help ?Thank you 

Just bought the Sonos ace headphones and I have to have the volume set at 100 to hear it tidy. Done all the trouble shooting and updates but still the same. ????

Hi, for the last 3 weeks or so Sonos is constantly dropping out and losing connection. Sometimes it skips through tracks, other times it just stops playing. I also can not connect to Sonos speakers via the Spotify app. This all worked before and we haven’t changed our internet setup. Is anyone else having this problem? What can I do to fix it? 

TV: HiSense Canvas 4KTVSetup: Ray connected via optical. Surrounds ERA 100 pair. Grouped with one Move 2 and sub-mini.Noticing audio cutting out for 0.5 seconds while watching UHD disc movie on PS5. Please advise. 

Just a quick first impression on the Sonos Play. Yours may be different based upon your room and hearing. Testing as a Stand-Alone speakerDon’t right off the bat, make a comparison to a Move2. The Move2 will always out-shine the Play. Set the Play up and listen to a few of your favorite test tracks. Be sure to turn on TruePlay tuning. After a few minutes of listening the Play will adjust to the room acoustics. After a while (in my testing) you’ll enjoy the Play for what it is…a portable speaker that performs better than the Sonos Roam series. I sat about 8 feet from the speaker which exhibited a stereo effect depending upon the track. There is low-end…again depending upon the track. Overall (IMO) in terms of frequency response the Play has decent vocals but may be a bit bright for some. A/B te

had to reset my sonos app to connect to a new router but now i can’t use sonos radio or connect spotify anymore

Why am I being denied access by Sonos to a particular track from an artist - yet can play other tracks from the same artist ? 

I recently purchased a pair of Sonos Era 300 speakers and paired them together in a stereo configuration. Shortly after setting them up, I began noticing intermittent popping noises during music playback.After doing some research, I came across this ongoing discussion and wanted to add my experience to the conversation. To provide some context: my speakers are brand new, fully paired, and running the latest firmware — so this doesn’t appear to be related to older hardware or outdated software.I have a great deal of respect for Sonos as a brand, which is why I chose to invest in the Era 300s. Hello everyone, I’ve recently set up a new Sonos home theater system and I’m experiencing some issues that I’m hoping to get help with. My setup:Sonos Beam (Gen 2) connected to a Samsung OLED S95C via HDMI eARC Beam is also connected to the router via Ethernet (CAT 8) where my Download speed is 115mbps & Upload is 23mbps 2 × Sonos Era 100 configured as surround speakers Sonos Sub Mini Additional 2 × Era 100 configured as a stereo pair placed to the left and right of the soundbarIssues I’m facing:I’m experiencing intermittent audio dropouts, mainly from the soundbar (Beam), where the sound cuts out for about half a second. The issue occurs only with TV audio (apps, TV channels, and console connected to the TV). When playing music directly from the Sonos app, everything works perfectly with no dropouts. I upgraded my Internet speed all five, but then they send me a new router.I haven't been able to install my beam 2.I tied reset reinstall the appWhen it chines it says it doesn't recognise it.There is NO sticker on the back/ base they're never was.Purchased 2-3 ago from reputable dealer..I swapped back to old router,TV etc all fine just beam won't install.I spent hours going crazy and getting frustrated..I still have the box etc but they're was no code that they tell you to put in if Chinese won't work. I was probably an idiot uninstall the app as settings are grey with only add new speaker or join system.I tried with the router it used to work with but no says can't find beam on that IP.Anybody thoughts thanks Richard.

Hello - Got the new Sonos Play speaker - it would be nice to have the battery percentage appear in more places in the app - it’s hard to navigate to find that info.

Can SONOS create the ability to create a playlist and add songs? Like Spotify, etc. Or is that an option I don't know about?

I’ve moved. How do I reconnect my Sonos One? 

My Music Library is located on an external drive attached to my iMac. I have 2 Sonos speakers and the Sonos app on the iMac and on an iPad. I’ve tried everything to get the app to see the library but nothing works. Always “no longer available”. Can anyone help with a step by step idiots guide? or at least tell me if this scenario is just not possible. At the moment my speakers are just ornaments

In the Sonos iOS app, scrolling generally freezes in the volume slider window.   This probkem seems worse on the iPad than on tne iPhone.   Resettng the app, clearing the cache, and rebooting the device did not solve the problem.   Luckily, scrolling the volume sliders still works in the Mac app.

I sold my Sonos beam gen 1 and the new owner cannot activate it. I have performed a factory reset three times, but still not working.

I am streaming with a hardwired (1Gb/s) Nvidia Shield Pro passthrough to a TCL 65QM851G TV. My new Sonos Arc Ultra is plugged into the eARC port of the TV and the TV is set to passthrough to the Arc Ultra. I also have a pair of ERA100’s for surrounds. The Sonos gear is connected to a 5G wifi network. The system plays/streams PCM stereo content with no issue but when I stream any type of Dolby content (Dolby Atmos or Dolby Plus 5.1) it plays awesome for about 5 minutes then the sound starts to drop out very briefly about every 1-2 seconds. If I pause the stream for a couple seconds and restart it, the cycle repeats, 5 minutes of awesome sound then the dropouts restart. What can I do to rectify this issue?

Hi! I work in a restaurant that has two different rooms where we normally play two different playlists. Normally thats not a problem but we have recently had a message saying “playback from Spotify was stopped because playback was started from another room or device. Spotify limits the number of simultaneous audio streamsyou can access from its services” but that has never been an issue in the past. Is there a way i can fix this? We use Ipads as our music control and our sono’s app to decide the playlists.  Thanks
