Hi everyone, I recently tried using my Sonos setup (Beam + two One SLs) as the main audio output while gaming on my console. The sound quality is great, but I’m noticing a slight delay between the on-screen action and the audio, especially in fast-paced games.I’m currently connected via HDMI ARC, and I’ve checked basic settings, but the lag is still noticeable. Is this a common limitation when using Sonos for gaming, or are there specific settings that can help reduce the delay? Would really appreciate any advice or setup tips.

I recently upgraded my router, but now connection to speakers other than Move 2 falls off about every 24 hours. I have to unplug and re plug to get them working again

 When I load an Amazon Music Unlimited playlist I created that has 498 tracks, why are a different amount of tracks loaded when using two different apps?  When I use Sonos S2, 400 of 498 tracks are loaded.  When I use SonoPhone all 498 tracks are loaded. If I load the 498 track playlist using SonoPhone the queue on Sonos S2 shows all 498 tracks.  Weird!  

Since the firmware update on April 14 (player version 94.1-76070), CEC control between my Sony Bravia XR-55A90J and Arc Ultra is broken. Audio via eARC works fine, but:    1.    No volume OSD – changing volume with the TV remote adjusts the Arc Ultra volume, but the TV no longer shows the on-screen volume indicator. This works intermittently at best.    2.    No standby sync – when I turn off the TV, the Arc Ultra does not power down. Instead it stays on with a green LED (muted), rather than going into standby.Both features worked correctly before the update.What I’ve tried (none resolved the issue):    •    Factory reset of the Arc Ultra + full re-setup via Sonos app    •    New certified Ultra High Speed HDMI 2.1 cable    •    Cold restart of both TV and Arc Ultra (unplugged from power, 60+ seconds)    •    Toggling Bravia Sync (CEC) off/on with cold restart in between    •    Removing all other HDMI devices (PC on HDMI 4)

I just got a new router from Orange; a Livebox7. I have configured a 2.4GHz band. But failed to connect 3 One SL speakers. I can see the speakers in my router connected to the WiFi, but the Sonos app does not see the speakers and I Conan not finalize the set up.  Sonos customer care was not able to help, after endless resets, etc. Is there someone who can explain how to change the settings on my router to make this work?

I have the arc and have the 2 ones and have 2 fives Is there a way to connect all 5 together to make a surround system all together?

Hi, I have a first generation Arc a gen 3 sub and two Era 300s in my living room. The Era 300s are set up as surrounds but I regularly unbond them for music and don't think they sound great as surrounds.They seem just too quiet and I find I have to push all the levels up to max to get any real impact.For music they are way better just as a stereo pair.I don't think there is anything wrong with the speakers I just don't find the implementation to be great. It bothers me no end that Sonos won't let me enable the centre channel. in my room it would be better the centre than the far side channels.I also wish there was a music mode for the Eras so that they can be set to just those for music, unpairing is ok but it plays havoc with my room setup in the app and Alexa.I do love Sonos and have speakers in every room but am just disappointed with this setup. I kind of just lived with it until now but it appears other brands are making some interesting stuff

Recently i upgraded my soundbar form a cheap generic to a beam 2 to use with my existing Era 300’s as surrounds.Initial set up seemed to go ok enjoyed a week of decent sound from my TV.Yesterday, my TV suddenly reset and I lost sound. When it started to work again, SONOS defaulted to playing music form spotify rather then the TV output. The only way i can get TV as default is to remove the surrounds from the set up (making them a different system). I now have only the beam connected to the TV, this isn’t ideal as i brought this to work alongside the Era 300’s.Sorry if this is rambling.SystemAmazon Fire series 4 TVSKY QBeam 2Era 300(pair)

Every few weeks my Sonos move needs a factory reset for it to work. It’s very annoying having to wait to reset it every time I want to use it. It stays on the charger when I’m not using it

J’utilise un câble HDMI de bonne facture compatible 8K. Mais lorsque je branche les 2 appareils, l’image du vidéoprojecteur disparait pour faire place à des formes géométriques diverses et variées. C’est comme si le JMGO ne comprenait pas que son port ARC doit s’utiliser comme sortie et non pas comme entrée. Ca fait la même chose sur la 2° port HDMI du JMGO qui n’est pas ARC.Une idée pour faire fonctionner les 2 système correctement.PS: la connexion bluetooth fonctionne bien, mais j’aimerais passer par le HDMI ARC pour avoir les dolby atmos.Merci d’avance

Hi. Just bought the line in adaptor from Sonos and connected to my audio technica AT-LP3XBT. Sound playing straightaway but the sound is dropping in and out from the right speaker (the one not connected with line in).    Stereo pair set up and plays fine with Bluetooth from turntable.   Any idea what could be causing this please ?  thanks

Just left CenturyLink for Spectrum. This fixed the business related issues I was having with upload speed and video conferencing but wrecked my Sonos system’s functionality. I’ve had a perfectly working system supporting 10 different Sonos products throughout my house on CenturyLink for years, bragged about how amazing Sonos was, etc., but now, it’s all just a memory. About half of my Sonos products are constantly dropped from the app, nothing is reliable to the point I have just given up. That effortless quality is gone. I’ve talked with Spectrum support, tried their recommendations but to no avail. From research, seems like a mesh router, in particular eero 6+, may be the answer. Has anyone else had a similar experience and this was the fix?

Hi,I currently have the Sonos Arc Ultra, Sub Mini, and 2 x One.I’m planning to replace the 2 x One with 2 x Era 100.Is it enough to just remove the current surrounds and add the new ones in the app?Or is it better to re-pair the Arc + Sub + Era 100 from scratch? I’m wondering if anything from the previous sound profile might still be linked.Thanks!

Hi, I have a Sonos system that consists of IKEA Symfonisk lamp speakers (x5), Sonos One (x2), Play:3 (x2), and a Sub.I kept my system on version 16.1 (April 2024) until recently, about two months ago. Hi all, I currently have a sonos arc (non ultra) paired with a sub gen 3 and two era 300 as surround. I also have a beam gen 2 and two ones in other rooms but my question is this…I want to turn off my 2.4g wifi signal and only use 5g and above on my router. My arc and sub gen 3 won't work on this band but the era 300 will.I am wondering if the setup will work if I hardwire the arc to a router (which the sub can join along with other older speakers via sonosnet) and also have the era 300 (and beam) connect via 5g?Will they still all work together and will the era 300s still work as rears to the arc, as the arc will he hardwired but the eras will be wifi 5g (I believe the eras will not use sonosnet as it is phased out on newer speakers)?I hope it am making sense. Any help is appreciated. P.s the reason I want 2.4g off is some other devices prioritise it but I need them to be on 5g for stable cloud gaming and they don't have manual selection.

I have an existing Port to several speakers, works as expected.  I attempted to add a Sonos Amp and a few speakers to play different music in different rooms.  However, when Amp is turned on, constantly makes a clicking noise (sounds like the audible text message typing).  It also constantly fluctuates the volume up and down, as wells as auto groups with my Port. I’m new to Sonos and this may not be doable. Please help.
