Get help and assistance with your Sonos system

Hi everyone, I have a Sonos Playbar that shows a solid white light immediately after plugging in the power (not flashing). Nothing else happens — it doesn’t boot or respond. I connected a JTAG interface and it only outputs “NAND Boot…”. It seems like the u-boot bootloader might be corrupted or not starting properly. Has anyone encountered this issue before or managed to recover a Playbar in this state?Would it be possible to reflash the u-boot using a programmer, and if so, what tools or procedure would be needed? Thanks in advance for any help or advice!

What is the optimum speaker setup as to Sub distance from soundbar and surround speakers. Does it matter where they are placed?

We have successfully been sending iPlayer Radio or Spotify from an iPhone 13 (now iOS 26.1) to a Sonos Move, or to our Sonos Beam for some years via Airplay. We have Deco Mesh WiFi and the signal is strong. Since late November or early December 2025 we are finding that the music will stop after 5-10 minutes and needs to be restarted on the iPhone. It will then work ok for a further 5-10 minutes before stopping again……and again. We have an Apple TV connected to the Sonos Beam, and if we Airplay via that we get no interruptions. The Decos, the Beam and the Apple TV are all wired to the same network switch.Has something changed recently?

HelloMy sonos arc is new . It fonction for 3 days then today no tv sound only music by Bluetooth but impossible to have tv sound. Can someone help me pleased Ty

One of my era 300 is set up, it  works fine, the sound is ok, but the indicator light flashes very quickly (green and orange) randomly, also when this happens, it happens with a sound like a click when the color changes.

I have a play 1 upstairs and a play 1 downstairs. I've had them for years with no problem but then the downstairs one wouldn't update. I've went through all the help advice, reset the play 1, linked with cable and nothing is working. I've phoned sonos who are no help and said I need to phone virgin media. Has anyone had this problem and was able to sort it, thanks 😊 

As of a couple days ago I can no longer connect to PLEX.   I get“Something went wrong. Try Again” when click on artists from my favoritesand“No content items available” when clicking on Plex iconI can cast to my sonos speakers from the Plex app (not plexamp) on my computer.If gone through all the suggested steps I could find from the internet.  I guess my question is to see if anyone else is experiencing it or if it's just me (and for how long).  If its everyone, then hopefully its (another) screw up and they’ll get around to fixing it eventually. super frustrating that something that has worked for years just stopped working especially when its the reason I went with Sonos.

Hi all, I bought an Arc Ultra about a month ago and hooked it up to my Hisense TV. I have it plugged into the eARC port, CEC and all that is turned on. The only other thing plugged into the TV is an Apple TV 4K which is how we watch everything on the TV. About once per day the TV shuts off. The audio comes through the soundbar but you can’t actually use the TV again until you unplug it and plug it back in. Anyone have any suggestions for me? Thanks. 

Hi as per title - Is anyone having problem with Apple Music Recently Added? I'm getting Something went wrong. Try again.I normally use this ‘feature’ a lot I add new music in Apple Music app and then switch to Sonos to play it. I’ve been away a few days and just got back and I’m now getting this error. Everything else is OK. I tried removing and re adding service but same error. I’ve log the problem with Sonos support. Thanks

Hello, I have a problem with my Sonos Arc. After resetting it, I can't add it to the app. I've tried everything and nothing works. Could you please advise me on how to do this? 

This post is meant to help someone who purchased a used Sonos play 5 gen 1 and could not get it to work.  the troubleshooting steps I followed from posts or the AI generated ones did not help because they were not clear. What worked for me is given below. first : I made the mistake of just connecting the Sonos to the app. It dint like it, it immediately said it belonged to someone else with the old users email (redacted).  Second step I did was attempt to factory reset it. Uff this was painful because I was an idiot and followed the instructions. It said to remove the power cable and hold the play/pause button and plug it in to power on until orange and white flashes. This never happened because I was actually pressing the play pause button ( the capacitive button on the top or side depending on how you placed your speakers vertically or sideways). I wanted to share my recent experience with the Era 300 and hopefully get some visibility from the Sonos team. My original Era 300 was purchased brand new, but it developed the common grill separation issue that many users have reported. Sonos support agreed to replace it, but I was surprised and honestly disappointed to learn that they were sending a certified refurbished unit as the replacement — even though my original unit was only a few months old and was a brand-new retail purchase. I tried to stay optimistic, but unfortunately the certified refurbished unit I received also arrived with a defect. The top/back grill is noticeably misaligned and does not sit flush with the housing. This problem is new to me. When I either scan my NAS library for more music, or remove the library and reattach it, I get two or three albums which index incorrectly. Specifically:The album appears 3 times in the album list Each instance contains the SAME single track (not different tracks, as would be the case if there was an AlbumArtist tagging issue) The other tracks in the album aren't shown anywhere The album can be seen in full and played from the folder navigation No changes have been made to the folder structure or tagging on the original filesI've attached screenshots. I have a speaker group in 3 rooms. I use AirPlay to send audio to the AirPlay-compatible speaker in one room (bedroom), and then have the other two rooms (living room and office) in the same group.  For some reason this group does not stay in place. Every time I play music, I see that Sonos has undone the group and I have to configure it again.   Is there a trick to getting the group to stay configured as such? And keep it permanently?

As the title says. When using a wired (usb c - c  the one that came with the product) the rocker button on the headphones will only turn the volume down. I can turn the volume up and down with the phones (Pixel 10 pro) physical buttons and also when using Bluetooth. But can't raise volume when wired.  Anyone else? 

i’ve seen this on an old topic which is now closed. Playing wxrt on audacy on my sonos (original play1 speakers) and it will start up plating and just stops after 5 minutes or so.  sometimes it will play all day if i leave it on but lately im lucky if the station plays 10 minutes. sometimes it comes back on but usually not. if i have the app open, it just shows  that the music is stopped and i can hit the play button to resume. but again it my stop again a few minutes later. it’s not my wifi. if i play the same station and app on my receiver with bluos, it plays fine and doesn’t disconnect. 

I have one speaker on one system. the other 2 are on another. I have one more speaker to connect and want all on one system I also had to change my wifi extender to one band instead of dual band. should I create a new wifi network for just the Sonos system?my goal is to make this all work seamlessly and have full use of the dual band extenders this is the message I get when I try to connect to the other 2 speakers 

Hi all,I tried many time after updating to iOS 26 and wanted to connect with Sonos app to my Sonos play 1. But it does not work and even when I connect cable it works but once I take out the cable again it is gone and not working. Anyone know the issue ? Thanks 

I am totally fed up. I have thousands of dollars invested in this product and now on Thanksgiving day the entire system has disappeared. I opened the app and I get an error message saying it can’t find any products on the network so does this mean I have to set the entire thing up again? Honestly, I hate this product. It has been nothing but inconsistent and unstable sometimes it works perfectly sometimes it doesn’t . really Sonos get your act together. This is no way to treat loyal customers. Your products are buggy and don’t consistently work. I’m looking to bail out of your system as soon as I possibly can thank you for ruining my Thanksgiving

HiI have a play bar a sub a bridge a play3 and 5 play1 in various rooms.My problem is that often usually when we have a party , the system plays up like 1 speaker will drop off then 2 then the whole system will drop off then it comes back on its own then when we think it’s safe to start dancing again it will drop. The whole system is over 10 years old so I can only use S1 and the bridge firmware will not update. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

I paid £19.99 for the Sonos 2 speaker controller during my Sonos 2 setup.  It came from Apples AppStore. Was that a con?

Hey guys,I have 4 Sonos amps for 4 zones of our house.One particular zone - Kids gaming room - has a TV, 2 ceiling speakers. TV is connected via HDMI extender then Cat 6 cable, then comes to Sonos amp (connected with ceiling speakers) in our media device storage.  This set up is working very well. However, I have bought a Sonos Arc which I was hoping to add onto the current set up. I have tried connecting Sonos Arc via Sonos HDMI-optical adaptor to TV, to add Sonos Arc to this set up. However, I can only get sound from Sonos Arc rather than the entire set up. How could I add Sonos arc onto my current set up please?Thanks in advance for your help. 

I have just brough some Kef Meta Q11 speakers to add to my lounge where only music and audio is played.  There is not TV in the room.  I already have the Martin Logan sub and wanted to get opinions on this set up and what I can do to maximize the sound quality.  Many thanks.

Airplay wont work in era 100 from windows pc itunes, but airplay works from iphone and other airplay devices work from pc.
