Airplay wont work in era 100 from windows pc itunes, but airplay works from iphone and other airplay devices work from pc.

I’m experiencing intermittent dropouts with my Playbar (and surrounds) when playing music (from a NAS) or streaming radio. The audio will stop for around 20s then start again. - This can happen between 2-5 times within an hourIt doesn’t happen when watching TVAll of the wifi connections on the apps (Sonos, Deco and support matrix) all show strong/green.I have a TP deco mesh system and Sonos is wireless.I don’t experience the issue with other stereo pairsIt is not possible to hard wire the playbar, although I can hard wire a Play 1 (which is next to the main deco box), although I invested in the Deco mesh to solve previous SONOS issuesAny ideas?

I have move and have a new internet source how do I update my system to accept the new internet. It will not recognize my app. 

I have a LG oled48c44la TV which has a wired connection to a Sonos Beam working successfully.  I want to add 2 Sonos era 100 speakers to use as satellites, but they cannot be connected by wire.  Is there a way to play through the wired Beam connection and at the same time play wirelessly through the era 100s?

When I open the Sonos app on a recently factory reset iPhone, and try to log in, it redirects me to the login.sonos.com website but I get a blank white screen. On the same phone if I go directly to the Sonos.com website and try to login I get the same blank white screen. I tried in Safari and Chrome cleared my cache, tried private browsing, turned off about 15 other security settings that I could think of. And nothing seems to work. Of course it works fine on my Android phone using Chrome browser. When it is being redirected a small letter I with a circle around it pops up or have a second so I'm sure there's still some security issue but the heck if I can figure out what it is.  It is an older iPhone for whatever that is worth.  Technical details.  Thing I have tried: -Verified JavaScript is Enabled in Safari Advanced settings.-Cleared Safari History and Website Data to remove corrupted cookies.- Attempted login via Chrome (including Incogn

I have a secondhand sonos play 1 and amp and have done the factory reset but struggling to set up both units. I have downloaded the Controller ap as its an older version but it keeps prompting me to update the app to Play 2 when I have a play 1. How do I set up both units please? 

Hi, I have a problem with playing Apple Music Chill recently. Everything from Apple Music works just great, only Apple Music Chill radio won’t play and the app shows message the It’s not encoded correctly.Everything others plays with no problem.I tried to reauthorized the Apple Music, delete it and add it again etc.Strange is that all other stations plays with no problem and I doubt that Apple is encoding that one station differently then the others.Any idea? Thanks, Jakub 

I am trying to set up my playbar and use the IR to use with my new TV and remote.  When I try to connect with the app, the app does not let me log in.  It get stuck in the endless loop.  I have reset the playbar, I have reset the router, I have installed and uninstalled the app, I’m using android.  Is there any way to do this?  I have read and researched but none of the suggestions are working for me.  Any help is appreciated

Problem:Almost daily, my surrounds/sub all disconnect from the Arc Ultra and stop playing sound (thought he Arc continues working as expected). When this occurs, the app shows "Needs attention" for the Arc Ultra. Power cycling the Arc Ultra immediately resolves the problem for 24-48 hours.Setup: Soundbar: Arc Ultra (connected via Wi-fi) Surrounds: 2x Symfonisk Bookshelf Gen 2 surrounds Sub: Sub Mini Routers: Asus AX86U Pro + AX58U AiMesh Node Other Sonos speakers in the house use SonosNet via a single Symfonisk lamp that is wired to the router (does SonosNet play any part for the surrounds/sub in this setup?) Things I've Already Tried: Various AiMesh binding options Disabling DFS channels on 5 GHz Setting router 5 GHz control channel to static value

HelloI have just purchased a pair of Ace headphones to go alongside my beam (gen 1 with 2x play 3’s and sub mini).I find that the volume on the headphones is very low and I end up listening to both music and swap at almost 100% but I read elsewhere that some people can’t listen above 20% as it’s too loud, i clearly have something wrong.The headphones are running the latest firmware as are the beam and subsequent hardware.  I listen to music through Amazon Music on an iPhone 16 pro max. I have unchecked the sound check button in the music settings and I have unchecked the limit max volume in the phones sound and haptics settings. I have also reset the Ace.Are there any settings I have missed?I struggle to talk on the phone due to a mental illness so without phoning I don’t know how to get this resolved? After adding a Sonos roam to my system, the Sonos app no longer display in landscape.

I just bought the Sonos Beam Gen2 in December of 2025 and have it connected to my Samsung TV that I bought 5 years ago.  I went through the setup procedure and the sound quality is very poor especially from my Samsung Blu Ray player.  I used the HDMI cable that came with the Beam and it’s connected to the ARC connection on the TV.  I have to turn the volume on the Beam to over 50 so I can hear and understand what they’re saying especially on the Blu Ray player.  

I have a Sonos One unit, probably 5 years old, that I originally had in one room and moved to another. I changed the room in the app and inevitably it always switched back to the old room.I have tried factory resetting it twice and it still goes back each time. How is this so hard?Fun fact: Sonos software is so great that there’s actually no way to remove a device from your system in the app. 

After coming home from a month long vacation, my Sonos system shows it’s not connected. This has happened before. I purchased and used NordVPN. Last time I used ExpressedVPN. Every speaker shows not connected except for Move & Move 2, which connects and playing. I disconnected vpn on my iPhone and iPad when we got home today. All of my speakers should show up?

Happy New Year!I recently got a new Sonos system Era 100, I cannot seem to get the Pandora issue to connect and it seems I’ve troubleshot it all Location Address is in my profile rebooted router / internet logged in properly to pandora- even states that you are all set, but once it goes back to the Sonos app it says didn’t connect properly  restarted app multiple timeswhats next gang? Any assistance appreciated -newbie to the group! 

I have an Arc Ultra and a Sub 4.  Currently, the Arc Ultra is connected to the internet via a switch, and the Sub 4 is connected via Wi-Fi. I would like to hardwire the connection to the Sub 4.  Is it just a matter of connecting an ethernet cable from the switch to the Sub 4?  Are there any other steps I must take to complete the conversion? 

Last year after much debate I spent the time to update ALL the tags on my compilation albums(with Album Artist = Various Artists)  to overcome the annoying issue of all compilation albums or albums with guest artists becoming fragmented.  Although I didn't (and still don't agree) with Sonos’s approach to the underlying problem of albums with identical names becoming combined I realised that there was no indication of a change in policy so I made the edits and re-catalogued everything.    Compilation albums were then represented  correctly  as one album with the downside being that the contributing artists no longer appeared in the artists view.    (I didn't agree with the Sonos solution because they could have just restricted the solution to the handful of people who suffered the issue and make them update the tags on just the duplicate titled albums rather than make every media library users update tags on their albums in

I’m trying to reset a Connect S1 to Factory Settings so I can use it as an addition to my existing system!! Followed the directions and I’m only getting a flashing white LED alternating with a flashing Green mute button!!

Hello everyone, I just installed 4 sonos amps in my new house and on one of these I connected the hdmi arc cable to listen to the tv with the sonos system, now I would need to send the arc signal to all the other 3 amps to listen to the TV audio throughout the house. How do you think I can realise this?Thanks to those who will help me or give me some advice, I'm new to the sonos world 

Hi all, just wondering if anyone else is experiencing this: I connect my iPhone 16 Pro Max to my Sonos system. Apple Music plays but when changing songs, the audio drops. Restarting the song then kicks the audio in.  my daughter does not appear to be having this problem with Spotify.  any insight/advice is appreciated. 

My arc ultra is connected to my Samsung TV by ehdmi and works fine. I can set up my Era300s (2) as stand alone speakers but when I set them up as surround with my arc ultra it shows connection issues with the eras. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. 

System info:Sony 77 A80J TV Apple TV4K (connected to Sony TV via HDMI 4) Sonos Arc Ultra (connected to Sony TV via HDMI 3 eArc)Issue: Turn system on (usually via Apple remote) after everything being off overnight or some period of time and sometimes Sony TV immediately will be using the external audio which is the Sonos Arc Ultra and sometimes I’ll find the Sony TV will be using the internal TV speakers and I have to manually switch TV audio source to the external audio source (Sonos Arc Ultra). Question: Anyone know what causes this erratic behavior and how to fix it so the audio is consistently external audio of the Arc Ultra?

My phone is connected to main WiFi network and also the Sonos system that’s on a sonosnet boost. My wife’s phone cannot connect to the existing system since the phone is on the main WiFi network and phone cannot see the boost sonosnet. How do I connect her phone to the apps existing system my phone is already connected to, especially avoiding a system reboot in fear of disconnecting my phone.
