Wired USB-C to USB-C connection - do microphone and ANC work?

Hello everyone, I am very interested in the Sonos ACE headphones. However, I probably have a different use case than many of you here. I only want to use Bluetooth very rarely (e.g. when traveling).I'm looking for headphones that I can use wired most of the time in the office. So I have a few questions and would really appreciate your feedback: 1. My understanding is that Bluetooth is completely switched off when I use the headphones with the USB-C to USB-C cable. Is that correct? That would be perfect for me!2. can I also use the wired microphone for Teams Calls (on my Macbook)? Does that work?3. does the ANC also work if I have connected the headphones via USB-C to USB-C cable? Thank you very much for your answers!

Sonos Arc Oval End Caps

I have a Sonos Arc - when it arrived both of the oval caps at the ends of the speaker were slightly loose. When I tried to reattach them they completely detached. I am unable to push them back in and properly secure them. Any ideas or solutions?

Great Room with TV, Dining, and Kitchen Configuration

I have not purchased a Sonos system yet, but am designing my layout and could use the community’s feedback.  We are completing a remodel where we now have a long great room with Kitchen, Dining, and Living Room. all in a row if looking down the room.  My initial plan is that the Living Room will have a tv with an Arc Ultra Soundbar (this all faces towards the dining/kitchen area).  Above the Dining Table I plan to have a pair of architectural speakers, and above the kitchen island another pair of architectural speakers.My question is can I use the speakers above the dining table as surround speakers for the tv?  I assume this answer is yes, based on my readings you would just set them as surround speakers in the living room I believe.  Where it gets trickier is that we also hope at times to simply play music throughout the entire great room.  Will those ceiling speakers above the dining table play well in this scenario, or require new configuration anytime we go between tv watching w/s

login as system owner loop

Randomly got notification to login as system owner in order to adjust any settings beyond playing music. Unable to do anything with account even thought I am still logged in to the same account with my same email. I never even logged out. Not sure if it is new app. Currently mid September 2024.  I tried everything from using a different device to completely deleting app and logging back in. I got desperate after looking at other peoples issues that were similar in nature and I needed to adjust the bass and treble because my son was sleeping.  i ended up factory resetting everything and deleting my account. I created a new account under the same email and re-set up everything with no issues. I tuned everything and did all the things with my bar and two surrounds. Everything was great.  that was until I tried to access the bass and treble settings as I have been doing for years. Now my system claims only one speaker is connected and gives me an error message and the app crashes. Currentl

TV Stereo Sound via Beam to Move Pair – Is It Possible?

Hi sonos fam,I have a Sony TV with an HDMI ARC output and two Sonos Move speakers (original model) set up as a stereo pair. I'm interested in expanding this setup by adding a Sonos Beam Gen 2 and a Sub Gen 3 subwoofer. My plan is to connect the Beam Gen 2 to the HDMI ARC on my Sony TV.Would I be able to play the TV sound through the Beam Gen 2 in stereo mode and extend that stereo sound to the Sonos Move stereo pair? Additionally, would the Sub Gen 3 function correctly within this setup? appreciate the help~ SoundSeeker ~

Doesn't show queue - Sonos App

So my problem is that everytime I choose a playlist, I can not see the list of songs within it and queue says “not in use”. Any way to fix that?

Do you know how to fix my Sonos Ace to produce sound and get the mic to work on Windows 11? I’ve tried all the steps you could think of, but nothing has worked. I‘ve been uninstalling and reinstalling the hardware devices. Help! TIA!

Upfiring speakers

Hi all, I have the Sonos Ark with SL1 spks for right and left surround sound behind me. I have the sonos amp and sub as well.My questions is I don't feel that I get much from the Ark upfiring spks!(set to max in app) Could I add two ceiling spks to give me better sound from above? I hope this makes sense. Cheers Andy.

Unable to connect to Wi-Fi

Hello Sonos Support Team, I’m experiencing an issue with connecting my Sonos device to Wi-Fi. Despite entering the correct Wi-Fi password, the device fails to connect under any circumstances. I’ve tried multiple times to ensure the password is correct, but the connection still does not establish. Could you please assist me in troubleshooting this issue? Any advice on how to resolve this would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for your help.

Sonos Arc Ultra stuttering while video is fine on samsung Q90R

Hi,  I just hooked up my new Sonos Arc Ultra to my Samsung Q90R TV via HDMI port 3 for eARC. All seemed to be working well, but when I play content from an app like Netflix or HBO Max the audio stutters while the video works fine.The settings let me select pass through when I'm sitting on HDMI 3 and then it doesn't let me do pass through when I'm in the HBO Max app, just lets me choose dd or dd+. From reading online should pass through be selected in the HBO Max app? It won't let me do that as it's greyed out when I go into any apps. Is there a fix for this, hopefully something which doesn't require me to buy a new TV? Was really looking forward to enjoying Atmos content. Happy to send a screenshot over too, just couldn't figure out how to do that.Notably youtube works fine, but that seems to default to PCM.

Music Library Issues

I have just updated my Sonos system from old S1 components to latest ERA3 etc - which sound great by the way - but I cannot get the new controller app to upload my music library from my Wondows PC - I had this function with the old S1 controller but I cannot get the library to opulate in the new updated app.  It says that the music library is beign shared but it remains empty. I have tried numerous means to do this by following info on this site but nothing is working. Very frustrating

iPhone16 Pro - Sonos App not connecting to my Sonos speakers

Help! My Iphone16 Pro can’t seem find and control our Sonos Play:1 speakers. Weirdly it did work for about 10 minutes before it then dropped out and disconnected.Iphone 16 ProiOS 18.1Router: BT Home Hub 5 Checks I’ve done:I can access and control the system via the Web Browser app. I have installed and reinstalled the iPhone Sonos app I have checked that the iPhone Sonos app is up to date I have instructed app to ‘forget current system’ and then reconnect to system The Sonos software is up to date I was sat right next to the wifi router and the sonos speaker whilst undertaking these checks and installations My husband can still control the speakersIssuesI can successfully connect to the system App also has successfully reconnected to streaming services But the Sonos App won’t list and display speakers. ERA 300 Airplay

Hi,I have two ERA 300 speakers running as a group in my living room.When I try to play via Airplay sound only comes from one speaker.If I manually power on the second speaker in the group I get a message that my Apple Music subscription is only for one device.Airplay is seeing the two grouped speakers as two devices.If the speakers are then connected as a stereo pair both speakers work fine.Is there any way around this issue? Dan

Changed iphone and cant reset sonos components

I got a new iPhone, same iPhone 14 and cannot get my Sonos components back on line. Deleted Sonos app, reset Sonos app, reset my amps to factory settings and still cannot connect. Any help is appreciated.

surround sound question

Arc Ultra, Sub 4 and Era 300’sJust set up my system. When I run a Dolby Digital 5.1 sound test “YouTube “( Sonos app says I’m getting Dolby Digital Plus 5.1) the left, center and right are all separate. When it gets to the right rear and left rear I get sound from the Arc Ultra also. Is this normal? I would think all the channels would separate.Am I missing something?

Apple TV 4K correct Audio Format for a Sonos Amp?

I have an Apple TV 4K connected to a Samsung TV using an HDMI cable and then another HDMI cable using the Samsung’s HDMI Arc to connect to the Sonos Amp. My Sonos Amp has a KEF left and right channel as well as a subwoofer. I believe my Samsung TV audio settings are correct however I am not sure about the Apple TV 4K… Under Settings > Video and Audio > Audio Format, it defaults to LPCM. However, you have an option to change the format to either Dolby Digital 5.1 or Stereo. Seeing that the Apple TV 4K inputs to the Samsung TV and then uses an HDMI Arc cable to connect to the Sonos Amp, should I leave this setting to the default value of LPCM or should I set it to Dolby Digital or Stereo?  Part of me thinks that this setting is irrelevant because whatever audio format is selected, it passes that value to the TV and in turn the TV passes the selected PCM audio format to the Sonos Amp but clearly not 100% sure. Thanks!

Arc Ultra and Apple TV 4k Gen 3 no Atmos option

I recently bought the Sonos Arc Ultra and an Apple TV 4K. I believe my setup is correct, but I can't select Atmos on the Apple TV 4K—only Stereo, Dolby 5.1, or Off.Here’s my setup: Sonos Devices: Arc Ultra Sub 4 2x Era 300s TV: Samsung QN82Q6FNA Apple TV 4K: Gen 3 Connections:I’m using the Sonos-provided HDMI cable from the Arc Ultra to the Samsung TV’s ARC (Audio Return Channel) port. The Apple TV 4K is connected to a regular HDMI port on the TV.I also tried connecting the Apple TV to the Arc Ultra via Bluetooth, but it’s inconvenient because I have to manually switch the audio to Bluetooth every time I turn it on.Does anyone know how to enable Atmos on the Apple TV 4K with this setup?

App and connection on ios18 and iphone 16 pro

Any ideas why I cannnot operate sobos system on iphone 16 pro max with ios 18? The app does not find arc, era300, sub. After reinstalling the app and rebooting the sonos system to the default nothing changes. Creating new system helps nothing because the app does not see any the equipment even after unplugging (although in the app it is written it should). Any solution because now I cannot control any of the products ?

Era 100s Stereo Pair cutting out randomly

Good morning,     Hi everyone, I have a pair of Era 100s set up under my TV that I'm using as a stereo pair. Neither speaker has any issues on their own, or as a stereo pair through the app. It is only when they are connected through Bluetooth to my computer, one speaker randomly cuts in and out, completely ruining the stereo experience. I've already disconnected, factory reset, and reconnected them. They work great through the Sonos system, but over Bluetooth one always seems to cut out. I can't watch movies through my computer via Bluetooth without being completely pulled out of the experience as my right ear gets 0 of the audio. Any advice?

Device not connecting to wifi shows error msg re. "5ghz and 2.4 ghz networks"

In my case, this error was when trying to connect to new WiFi (new router) was incorrect.Uninstall the Sonos app, reinstall and factory reset your Sonos and it will then connect - there is a bug in the Sonos app. The uninstall and reinstall will also trigger an update to the Sonos One SL and the device will then connect.

Trueplay - Surround Distance Isn’t Accurate

My left surround is 2 feet away and my right is more than 10 feet away.  After doing Trueplay, both surrounds show more than 10 feet away.  Any idea why the surround distance isn’t accurate when doing Trueplay tuning on iPhone?

Sonos Beam Gen 2 surround sound issue

I recently purchased a Sonos Beam Gen 2 with Sub Mini & Era 100 to use as a cinema system.Installation went fine and I am able get a 5.1 feed via the HDMI ARC connection for the DVB broadcasts, when available, and the installed apps (Amazon Prime, Netflix, etc).However, I am unable to get a multi channel sound feed from either my Virgin media stream box or my Blu-ray, both will only provide PCM stereo.Sonos helpline were not particularly helpful once they knew the TV feed was working and despite multiple diagnostic submissions decided it was my settings and offered no potential solution.Despite resetting all my equipment, checking for updates, etc I'm still unable to resolve the issue.Any advice/recommendations would be appreciated as the situation is so frustrating.For reference my TV is a Panasonic TX-50AS600B AND Blu-ray a Panasonic DMP-BD60

Music Library Alphabet Side Scrolling

I use my Sonos speakers 100% for listening to music, primarily through my music library on a stored NAS.  My experience has more or less come back to baseline from the new app rollout.  One thing that’s still missing that I found to be quite a helpful feature was the vertical side alphabet of the music library so I could quickly tap on a letter and immediately jump to that part of my library.  I know you can search specifically within the music library now but am still longing for the side scroll.  Any idea when (or if) that might be coming back?

Installing Arc ultra with Era 100s.

I just have 2 Era 100s - I plan on buying an Arc Ultra in a few weeks.When installing do I need to remove Era from app and reinstall them? I know some people have been having issues and it is making me concerned if Era/Sub 3 will work with Ultra.
