Get help and assistance with your Sonos system

I ran into the exact same issue people outlined in another thread now closed of a similar title. I managed to solve it for €30 and have so far not run into any issues.  I used a HDMI splitter where the EDID can be set to tell the UB820 to output multichannel PCM (as it seems the C9 tells it to output stereo). I plugged the UB820 output into the splitter input and then the output of the splitter to the TV (not into the Sonos ARC). I have an LG C9 and Sonos ARC and I'm now getting Dolby atmos with atmos discs and 7.1 LPCM with DTS MA/HD (haven’t tested DTS X yet) discs. No issues with Dolby vision either.  I set the splitter not to copy the EDID of the tv (as this is the issue) but set it to the Dolby Atmos/vision/7.1 EDID setting. UB820 set to PCM for DTS (secondary audio to off). C9 set to eARC and pass through. I changed my email and logged in with my wife’s, for 10 days I listened to any South African radio station. A week back out of the blue I was unable to stream anything but uk stations excluding all other international radio stations. So please do not tell me it is not blocked by Sonos. I have 5 speakers on the Sonos 2 controller standing there like white elephants. Why can google stream foreign radio stations, and not sonos. We invested large sum of money in systems that are useless. Why are the international facilities available but not functional?I spent 4 hours on a live chat to US yesterday just to finally tell me I need to call UK they will look into it?

I cannot get the studio pair of era 300’s to work in conjunction of the existing theater system

Trying to play music from itunes on my pc through my Sonos Era 300.It would appear itunes is able to identify the speaker, but when selected there is no output.The Era 300 is labelled “Living Room” 

I have a Sonos Boost I'm trying to connect. That connects to the S1 app on my phone just fine. But when I try to connect the sound bar, the woofer and these two side speakers, it just does not connect. I'm hitting play and the plus sign. So it flashes all the speakers flash orange, but the S1 app on my phone does not recognize the system. The S1 app on my Mac also does not recognize other systems. My Boost is recognized just fine. hi i hav also the same issue. and call support.no one in wil  take responsibility in sonos company.so sonos if the company have this forum.and nowbody will action. even CEO.then close sonos community.so Sonos what will you do about this.also the same issue.

Each time I turn on Sonos radio, or change stations, it plays for a minute or so, then jumps back about 20 seconds & repeats what's just played. Just once each time then plays normally.Anyone else had this issue? Any suggestions for a fix??I tried resetting both speakers (One & Roam). Haven't reset modem as I'd then have to set up all other 'smart' things.Thanks in advance!

Hi all, I recently got a new pair of Sonos Ace. I love the listening experience, however, I have received complaints about the sound quality of the mic when in calls.  Given the feedback, I decided to test record a voice memo, (iPhone 16 pro) with both the Sonos Ace and the AirPods Pro 2.  the results are in and they are drastic. The Sonos ace produces a Tin and thin like recording (both in Aware and NC mode) while the AirPods Pro 2 come in bassy and super clear.  My question: Is there a way to improve the mic quality of the Ace or is this headset specifically designed to hear sound only and has mic call as a secondary feature?   

Is anybody else experiencing certain Dolby Atmos music tracks where you can barely hear the vocals? I have come across this quite often recently with Dire Straits Sultans of Swing being the most recent. Could this be a Sonos issue with playback of certain songs where the vocals practically disappear? I can't imagine Mark Knopfler approving the release of this song sounding this way. Any thoughts or feedback?

I recently bought an Xgimi projector (optical and hmi e arc) and 120” screen to start improving my at-home movie experience , and now that the image quality is on point , I’m starting to work on a proper audio setup. The problem is that I know nothing about speakers and audio setups :) .Here’s the thing though : my apartment is an attic apartment , the slanted ceiling can be a challenge to work with and , as a result, I only had a single proper rectangular wall on which to install the screen . It also happens to be the wall with the sliding door to the bedroom right in the middle of it . Now that’s not a problem at all for the screen which unrolls right in front of it . But when it comes to sound installation , that makes it impossible to place a soundbar underneath the screen since it would be overlapping the door . I would have to place the soundbar to the side and 50cm off the ground , which doesn’t seem like a good idea (and would greatly limit furniture placement and be

I’m getting the Couldn’t play Sonos Radio try again message. How do I fix it?

It always did but went flat whilst i was away and wont reconnect. I used the sonos all to reset the network and rebooted . It still will not show as connected.

I thought all the Apple Music playback issues are resolved since the meltdown. But apparently not. New install of Beam Gen2, when playing back from Apple Music playlist, every 4th song or so it will loose the connection be quiet for 10s and then reconnect and pickup the rest of the song or skip to the next one. Quiet annoying.Beam is connected to very good Enterprise WiFi network, and the TV it’s connected to has no network issues.Is this a latency issue, since I’m not US based? Maybe device trying to use US cloud back-end needlessly? Or something else that isn’t well engineered.Quit disappointed.

Hi all,I was curious if anyone had come across this issue, or a similar one, with the Sonos Beam (Gen 2) - Audio generating audio feedback? In this particular instance it occurred on the Thor (2011) blu-ray during Loki hammer scene, where Loki attempts to pick up Thor’s hammer. This is the only instance I’ve had of this issue and I’m wondering if it’s possibly the blu-ray itself but before I pony up for a new one, I figured I’d ask here.

Hi all,I tried many time after updating to iOS 26 and wanted to connect with Sonos app to my Sonos play 1. But it does not work and even when I connect cable it works but once I take out the cable again it is gone and not working. Anyone know the issue ? Thanks 

Just seeing if there is anybody else having issues with Apple Music not being updated via Sonos app. It’s been a week now and new music I’ve added to Apple Music is not visible when I open the Sonos app. I’ve done every possible remedy , delete app / re install , re authorise Apple Music , switch everything off and then on again etc. could it be recent iOS updates ? . Issue is on three iOS devices that I use for Sonos . 

Suddenly the SONOS S2 app on MAC OS Sequoia 15.7.3 when it starts it spends 5 - 6 seconds searching for the sonos network. Then announces my Firewall settings need changing. Funny as the firewall is turned off on this particular laptop. Anyway it eventually gets past this and then announces the app needs an update. Hit the search for updates button, funny as there are no updates. What the hell is going on with this piece of junk? Maybe unrelated but when playing across multiple devices, some devices go quiet for upto a minute then continues. No indication of issues and at least one device continues playing without issue.  

The title says it all - why can I not find podcasts via any music streaming service in the Sonos app? I found a lot of comments saying it was Spotify’s code but it is the same for apple music and tidal which leads me to believe it might be something on Sonos’ side? Or did one service just say no to allowing it and the others followed suit? Either way it seems odd and frustrating because it doesn’t allow me to use my Sonos system to its full capability. I have to Spotify connect to a speaker or group, but then if I want to play a song somewhere else in the home, Spotify pauses the podcast and won’t allow two simultaneous things playing. What is the reason behind no podcast support?

Sonos system with Bridge, Play 3 and Play 5 1st gen. Play 3 can play music library on NAS, if I group Play 3 and Play 5 they can play music library on NAS, but Play 5 on its own gets the message “unable to access….” I’ve done a factory reset of the 5 and reconnected to the network, but still get the same problem.

Hi - I must be missing something, because it’s not even possible that one can’t simply save an existing queue as a playlist!  Right?  So somebody please tell me what I’m missing, must be in front of my face, no? Thanks.
