Get help and assistance with your Sonos system

All 7 speakers were working fine on my Eero system. Then my internet went out and the technician said it was because of a programming glitch (Internet service providers recently changed hands). But he fixed it and now internet works and my Eero network is also working and even shows that the Sonos speakers are connected. However, the sonos app will not recognize ANY of them. I have 1 hardwired direct to the Eero hub and it still is not seen. In the sonos app, i am logged in, i have deleted and reinstalled the app, and Content Services in Sonos remains grayed out. When i go to spotify (which also is up to date) and tap the icon to connect to sonos, there is nothing. How do i get content services showing? how do i get this damned nightmare of a system to recognize speakers (and yes i did a factory reset)

One of the things that I really about Mac is being able to seamlessly select a Sonos speaker from Control Center to enjoy better audio than my MacBook Pro provides.  That has worked well until yesterday.Now when I select a Sonos speaker (in this case an Era 100), audio works for 1-2 seconds and then it stops.  The speaker still appears in Control Center and I can adjust the volume slider, but there’s no audio.I think I’ve narrowed down the issue.  Yesterday I installed a Sonnet 10GbE Thunderbolt adapter.  When that’s plugged in, I run into the issue with audio to the Sonos cutting off.  If I unplug the adapter, the audio works as expected.What’s the solution?  

My Sonos app is not working, it’s appears to load during too much time. I’ve to reset my symfonysk but isn’t working 

Hi All,Overall, I can’t complain. Physical hardware construction and delivery of sound is amazing. When it Works….! When it doesn’t, for whatever reason… cause considerable grief…. Upgrades another story… ! To put the cards on the table, I chose Apple,…. once hooked they reel you in… I chose Sonos,… and have spent more then AUD $100K on Sonos…. No issue.. when it works…  But when it doesn’t, well let me tell you… I’d put it all in a cardboard box and send it back…Kind regards, Matthew.  

Hi allafter a bit of advice. I have built a golf simulator in my garden in a tall log cabin.  currently I have a gaming pc and sky stream box connected to a projector via hdmi. (No eARC support) I output the sound from the projector via 3.5mm output and then into a cheap soundbar and sub from creative. It works but I want to upgrade the sound.so my question is, can I go from my projector using the 3.5mm aux cable into a era 100 using the adaptor, but also have a 2nd era 100 to create a Stereo pair? is there any lag / delay? also… could I then add a mini sub at some point?being standard stereo connection what’s the sound quality going to be like? thanks  

I have 7 sonos amps configured in a daisy chain to one switch port for ethernet right now. I have tried both 1 amp wired and no amps wired with the same results. The volume control slider on s2 app is about 20% of the time delayed about 1-2 seconds. Meaning I change the audio but the audio doesn't actually adjust for 1-2 seconds. I have many projects with the same config and I have never noticed this. Same exact equipment and gear.The only difference here is the router inf ront of the Bell Fiber GigaHub and configured with PPPOE which seems to have been working well. I downloaded teh desktop app and it works perfect. WiFi is very strong I am right beside an AP with full power.Spoke with Sonos and they saw nothing on their end. Anyone have any ideas, similar circumstance or anything ?I verified non of the amps is the root bridge in the matrix and they all just appear as secondary nodes which my understanding is good

 There is a huge difference between Dolby Atmos music and non-Atmos music.  My system is Arc - Sub - 300s.  For Atmos tracks I am usually at volume 29-30.  With the same album in a different codec I have to use a volume of around 60 or more.  God forbid I should mix Atmos & non-Atmos tracks in a playlist.  TV volume and Atmos volume are closer to each other, but I don’t listen to TV that loud so maybe not a great comparison. NOTE:  My Volume Limit is set to 65.

I have some ghost boxes (dimmed out, don’t do anything when touched, can’t be removed when editing the list) in my Sonos favourites in the iOS app. On the web player they are not visible.  anyone know how I can rid of them or can Sonos fix this bug? tia

I have 2 speakers, one in the office, the other in the family room. The office speaker Works just fine, the family speaker is not detectable.  I did the rest by unplugging from electrical but its still not detectable.  Its plugged directly into the router.

Why won’t my Play:1 and Play:3 connect after a short power cut? I have factory reset both products and also reset the S2 app…all to no avail. I cannot reconnect the Play speakers and this has been over a week now, but somehow my Beam seems miraculously immune to any issues whatsoever and has remained constantly connected! You couldn’t make it up. Why is Sonos so clunky and difficult to use? Has anyone had a similar issue or maybe help with any advice?

Hello,I have a sonos arc ultra + sub mini + 2 era 100 as surrounds. I have a problem when I recalibrate the system if trueplay has already been done once. The sweeps are very loud and almost unbearable. I have to do a hard reset (and link the sub and the era 100) before performing trueplay again. By now it is the only way i found to perform trueplay at a bearable volume.Is it a normal behaviour for the arc ultra or do i miss something ? I use an iPhone se with advanced trueplay.Moreover, if i perform simple trueplay on my android Phone, the sweeps are also very loud and the switch on/off for trueplay does not appear, even if trueplay finished without error.

Please see the images of our living room area, Era 300’s were placed on floor behind Sofa on floor stands, made room look untidy, cramped for space and cables etc Previously had Play 1’s mounted in bookcase on virtually empty shelves thes were less intrusive and better for general music, was persuaded to upgrade to Era 300’s whilst great for Atmos and movies, placement in middle of room is not great for music. Have played around with having them slightly higher and wall mounted and generally happy with sound. Just need some advice on best position to mount as rear left is in a corner and rear right slightly more open location. Aware Trueplay will deal with most of issues. Should I mount at 2m above floor leaving only 40 cm from top of speaker to ceiling so will need to mount upside down. Should they be flat against wall or angled in at approx 45 degrees?TV and Arc in process of being wall mounted, desk size reduced and Sofa moving back about 1/2M  System

My Sonos system is getting along with my SMB NAS now. Except one album out of 2000 is showing up wrong! Below you can see that Sonos shows two copies of the same album, although of course there is only one. And (much worse!) that “album” only has one song listed, even though there are 20 on that album.  Looking at the tags there isn’t anything odd about that album. Ideas? The single song​​​​​​the album shown twice 

I have a SL speaker in my garage I want to run 24/7/365 but that never works. After a couple days the music stops, I go the app and tap play and away it goes again. Why does it just quit playing music?

When playing a podcast in bbc sounds the queue is back to front so old episodes keep playing. Has anyone found a fix to this?

HiThere seems to be a lot of conflicting information about which Sonos speakers play lossless and also how to tell.  I have the following set up: Play:1 and One paired in one roomPlay:1 and One paired in second roomEra 100 in another room  Will any of these play lossless? If so, how do I make sure it happens or is it automatic?I always play directly from the Sonos app with integrated Apple Music thanks
