UNABLE TO ADD MUSIC LIBRARY FROM NEW HP LAPTOP

Question

Hello, I recently purchaseed a new hp laptop running windows 11. I have the sonos 2 app on my android phone. I did share the folder, made the changes in the firewall, etc. The music folder is on my laptops hard drive. The network path is: \\RSL-NEW-HP-OMNI\Music

When I hit “add shared folder” from the Sonos 2 app on my android phone and input the above network path I get the following error message: “\\RSL-NEW-HP-OMNI/MUSIC is no longer available. This library’s device may not be powered on, or the path mayh have changed”.

I still have the folder \\SCOTTNEWLAP/MUSIC in my folders from my old laptop which is no longer working and has been destroyed.

Any suggestions to remedy this situation would be greatly appreciated.

Install the Windows app and setup the sharing from that, likely to be much more successful than the mobile app.
