Is the update to the Amazon app going to be fixed?

A recent update completely broke it for me, i don’t do streaming, i buy the albums i want (this works best for me).  As of the recent update (i don’t know which update exactly as i hadn’t listened via sonos for a couple of months):

  1. I i select the Amazon service followed by library fllowed by Albums i get all the albums in a random order (possibly purchase order?) and no way to sort, this is next to useless when you have several hundred albums
  2. If I click on an album i expect to get the tracks on the album (always have up to now) but all i get is the option to play that whole album, no tracks are listed at all.
  3. Related to the above some (seemingly not all) albums will then shuffle other songs not in that album into the album (text states “Shuffled with similar songs. For on-demand playback visit https://amzn.to/gb_am_in_sonos”), the address just takes me to the amazon us homepage which is of no help
  4. all the sonos favourited items i had no longer work, they show in the sonos app but simply show “couldn’t play <song> the connection to amazon was lost”,  (Whilst annoying this isn’t a massive issue)

At this point i just gave up as for me its a bug-ridden mess at this point and totally unusable (for me).  Is this something that is going to be fixed or do i need to look elsewhere?

If you aren't willing to bring the issue to the attention of the Sonos Support folks it won't get prioritized for a fix until someone else does. This is a user to user forum, very limited Support presence.

If you want them to look into the issue and see what is broken select a couple of your purchased tracks, then within a few minutes submit a diagnostic. To have it looked at you need to call support and ask them to look at it, no time window for that, call when you have time.
