Get help and assistance with your Sonos system

I have used Deezer for several years through Sonos but recently when trying to load Deezer through the Sonos app - it wont connect. I get an error message “something went wrong, try again later” I have disconnected Deezer and tried re-connecting via the Sonos app - same error message.

Hi, I bought a sonos arc about a month ago, got it hooked up to wifi and tv no problems, it's brilliant!, I bought a sub mini 3 days ago, and have spent 3 days trying to get it going. Tried everything suggested on sonos troubleshooting pages, and this forum. It needs to update to work, that's the message I can't get past, with error code 1000. 3 days I've been trying, I have done it all, just gets back to this point, and won't go any further. Wifi says it's there along with the arc, but there it sits on the floor useless with a solid white light waiting to be regestered, and updated, I just can't make it happen.  So frustrating. 

I would like to purchase the Move 2. I’ve been told that I cannot downgrade the Move 2 to S1 app. I have a working and fantastic sounding audio setup with no need to update the ZP100 that drive my main audio setups.  is this correct ? my current setup is 2 X ZP100 , Play 1 and  Beam.

That being said let’s begin….People in this Community are questioning why Sonos doesn’t roll back to the app version prior to this new release. There is a plausible reason why that may not be possible. One of the two may shock you. I'm seeking your assistance, PLEASE I purchased my Sonos One Release 2 Speaker approximately 5 years ago from Amazon, due to building a new house the speaker has been in storage for 2 years.I am now trying to get the speaker working (without the aid of instructions) and have got as far as having the green light flashing. I have downloaded the Sonos App onto my Apple phone (i didn’t have this when I first initiated the speaker years ago & not sure if it's required now?)When using the App (close to the speaker - with the home Ethernet connected) I'm following the instructions ...... Add speaker or component - preparing for update - Continue Update -  Updating your product. This should take several minutes - This is as far as I get  - after hours the download never gets more than 1/3rd completed ??????Are you please able to advise what I am doing wrong and forward the installation instructions for the Sonos One Gen 2 Many Thanks Kind Regards David Wyatt  *Moderator Note: Removed phone

May I suggest that everyone that has issues after the recent app update should contact the CEO asking for an urgent resolution.CEO, Patrick Spence, at ceo@sonos.comYou may get a stock reply, like I did, but at least it will be registered.

I’m trying to manage my account and it keeps saying I need to sign in as account owner? 

Really trying to understand if I'm doing something wrong here. But before I updated to the new Sonos app, I had absolutely no problems until now.  The new Sonos app completely broke the subwoofer on/off & subwoofer volume control I had for my Sonos Amp. Luckily my subwoofer has a lot of controls on it and I'm able to adjust the volume and the phase control directly on the subwoofer, but I absolutely need to have the ability to control that important function on the app.  Does anyone else have an issue controlling the on/off and volume control of your subwoofer connected to the Sonos Amp?  

I have done a factory reset on a Play 1 and the app still does not recognise it. All 3 others, Playbar and Sub are recognised. The light does not go green. If remains flashing orange and white

Since moving to the new ios app, I can’t play music on various speakers. I can see the speaker in the app, but adding it to a group of already playing speakers doesn’t include it (volume meter isn’t working for that speaker). Nor am I able to just play music to it directly/individually.  I’ve had the issue with both Amp and Move. 

My wife has an existing Sonos account. She deleted her app and wanted to re-install it now. When opening the app to re-connect she cannot approve the terms & conditions? What does she have to do?

How can I get my albums to display 5 across 

Ever since the new app came out, it only retained my Playbar and Subwoofer. It wiped out my Roam SL, Play 1’s and Play 3. I cannot add them back at all. I have tried resetting the app, redownloading it, as well as factory restoring all the speakers I am trying to add back. My Roam SL will add to the system but then it doesn’t show up anywhere at all in the app. My Play 1’s and 3 will just not play the tone anymore to connect to the system. I am so beyond frustrated with this. Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

The new app is an unmitigated disaster. I think on that everyone seems to be agreeing.I’ve now rolled back to the previous version on my Android phone. Its a bit of a fiddle but can be done. Its definitely worth doing. It suggest others who are frustrated with the new version do the same.

I have hard wired speakers using Sonos Amp hard wired through a netgear switch.  My house is wired in every room to this router centrally. The music cuts out for up to 10 seconds at a time often enough to become a big problem.  I have already disabled WiFi and rebooted my hardware including the amp's.

The latest update has nuked functionality, I can barely use this thing. It’s bad and wrong on every level.I have:7 Sonos Ones 1 Sonos Move 1 Sonos Beam 1 Sonos Playbar 1 Sonos SubI want a refund for all of these devices. I don’t want to be a part of the Sonos ecosystem anymore. You’ve lost a customer.

I have a last generation sound bar I am trying to connect to new network. it continues to come back “wrong password”. I know the password is correct

new Sonos out of the box which should be a simple setup procedure. The Sonos app cannot recognize my amp and after multiple attempt it finally after 25min it was set up. Next step was a mandatory system update and I’d be on my way to the sweet sound of music. Oh no, but wait, the app said unsuccessful download of mandatory update. Had to start completely over and now the app does not recognize my amp. Have to start completely over again. I left BOSE specifically for this issue and now with Sonos. I have a very strong WiFi signal and coverage in the house. Any thought before I return this easy 2 step setup Sonos amp?

I was using my two speakers until one night when I they disappeared.i have tried everything to reconnect, I am spending hours doing this, is a constant problem.  I am regretting so much having acquired these products.Can anyone help me to resolve the problem?

After a dozen uses my arc does not power up. It is past the warranty since I have not been living at this house which I now am. I have spent several hours on hold. Not able to reach anyonr. From what I gather Sonos does not repair their products. It is a lot of money to spend when I am looking at buying several additional speakers to add to my Arc. I am perplexed. I will try one more time to conact them. If that does not work I will spend a lot of money on a different system. Also I happen to have a Sonos 1 in my Florida home that is 8 years old. Several speakers with it and non of it ever gave me any issues. Has Sonos quality gone down?

I’m getting frequent audio drop outs for 1-2 seconds it seems to be happening on all speakers. Just for a minute or so and then it will be fine for a while. Scenario is start playing an Apple Music playlist in Sonos app on iPhone. Started on Bedroom (Era 300) and Bathroom (Play:1) speakers group and then added in Kitchen (Era 100 stereo pair) and later Lounge (Era 300).Sound starts to drop out on bedroom and then from Kitchen and Lounge speaker While playing from Apple Music. You can hear it still going in the other rooms and then it kicks back in again. It's like the speaker are loosing their connection. We’re a tiny house so nothing is more than 4 meters from the Wifi base station.Anyone experiencing the same or got any tips to try and improve the experience?

I keep my music on a NAS, I have a strange problem using the new App.My apologies for the length of this post – it is an odd problem.:I go to Music Library.  I am offered Artists; Albums etc., down to Folders.My Folders, set up on the NAS are – Spoken Word/Books/Plays;  Classical;  Pop.So I want to play say “Blood On The Tracks, Bob Dylan” the whole albumIf I go in through Artists – Bob Dylan – Blood On The Tracks I get to the album and can Play All of it.  (I can also select individual tracks).It is the same if I go through Albums – Blood On The Tracks.  Again I have the option of playing either the whole album or individual tracks.  Again the queue is filled and editable.This is as it used to be.If however I go through Folders – Pop – Bob Dylan – Blood On The Tracks I am not able to play the whole album, I can only select and play one track.  I cannot add tracks to the queue, there is just the one track in the queue.Painful as I have always (up until the latest App) accessed my Libra

When I click on the Stingray Music service, nowadays it just shows some text about Stingray but there's no music, no channels, nothing. Is it just my system? Do I need to reinstall the service?
