Get help and assistance with your Sonos system

When playing TV audio, our playbar is skipping audio probably 5-10x an hour. Samsung TV which I have rebooted several times by killing power. I have also cycled power on the playbar.  It has two surrounds, but the skipping seems to be the bar, not thr surrounds. The bar is connected to network via wired cable and serves as the system anchor. We have had this thing for 10 years, never had a problem.

I held off moving from the S1 (old) app for as long as I could. I had a Connect, Bridge, Play 3, and 3x Play1s. I got an AMP to replace the Connect+Bridge and understood from my research on Sonos.com that the 2013 Play3 and 2017 Play1s would come across to the new (S2) Sonos app fine. Got the AMP, upgraded the app from S1 to S2, got the AMP connected. Then the trouble started. The Play1s and the Play3s would NOT move over to the new app. I’ve literally spent 6 hours doing the connect / upgrade cycle for the Play1s. The Play3 (for better or worse) fails faster - it won’t play the connect sounds, the app won’t recognize button pushes, so I can’t even get to the upgrade part of the cycle. Sonos chat has been not helpful, despite a chat of 2 hours. They told me to call Support. I called - 60+minute wait time.Sonos chat could not even have Sonos call me - said their systems aren’t connected. I am insanely frustrated at this point - anyone have an

This is a measure of the quality of the signal strength between the product and router and is expressed in decibels. A higher value represents a stronger signal. As a general guideline, a SNR of 45 dB and above is considered excellent, while a SNR of 25 dB or below is considered weak.How to you observe or manage SNR on new app?Instructions please. 

The new app will not allow me to set-up and update my Playbar or a Sonos 3. Any thoughts or updates coming to fix this? These speakers are now bricks. They were working perfect before the new app!

See some states that they can see roam  battery status in the Sonos app when connected to BT but it doesn’t show in my app. iOS - everything updated.   Any suggestions? 

Hi, I cannot connect Sub Mini to Beam Gen2 according to the instructions. How can I make sure that sub is connected with my wifi correctly? When I update my network in settings of Sonos app everything goes well and got confirmation that sub has been connected.

 Setup: 1 Beam connected to TV via HDMI, and 4-ONE-SL’s.Issue: I have an alarm setup to start at 10:00 AM for 11 hours, and my timezone is set properly to Central US. Frustrated with the new app.  It looks great, but is functionally more confusing.  Can we revert to the old app?  Can we keep the old app instead?  Anyone know?

anyone any idea when local music library search and play update is happening, mine disappeared after THE UPDATE …… I know Sonos said June but was postponed until mid June ?still getting the error 913 like most peopleany advice would be handy,i use Mac and don't have NAS DRIVEALL MUSIC STORED ON MY MACAny help would be appreciated

The Sonos app has stopped updating my Apple Music library for some reason, and I can’t get any new music or playlists to show up in the app.  Everything is updating across all of my iCloud devices as usual, so this doesn’t seem to be an apple problem.  I’ve tried updating the Sonos Library via the Mac app (surprised to see that’s returned from the dead), and I’ve tried reauthorizing my account.  Neither works.The interesting thing is that if I delete a playlist, then that no longer shows up in Sonos, so obviously the app is checking in with apple and my account - it’s just not recognizing anything new.I first noticed this problem a week ago, but overnight it resolved itself.  This time it’s been four days since the app stopped updating.  Any ideas?  Thanks.

Sonos was a trusted brand. Management needs to acknowledge the issues in the recent app update and publish a roadmap and timeline to fix them, and soon. The May 2024 update makes our speakers and entire system completely useless. As an exhausted mom who can’t replay “Old MacDonald ” for the 10x for her demanding toddler due to Sonos’ HORRIBLE app update bugging out the entire system - PLEASE FIX THE APP. I’m exhausted and it’s 92% Sonos’ fault.

How do you reset a Move speaker? 

 There is a known unresolved issue with Sonos Roam SL.  After repeated resetting and retrying to connect, customer support has admitted that my product will not work in my system.  However, they will not accept a return since I bought it from BestBuy.  BestBuy will not accept the return since I am past 15 days. I am having difficulties reaching the proper person.  I have called many times but keep getting the response that Level 2 is “closed” (i.e. closed in the middle of the day) and that only Level 2 can help.  I am on hold 50 minutes each time I call. Each time Level 2 is “closed”.  They say they are going to send an email but I don’t get one.   I have even reached out using the “CEO response” but that is the same canned response each time.  No one addresses my issue.  At this point, I either want Sonos to send me a Roam 2 or refund my purchase price.  I am done with Sonos.  No more purchases from me.Any advice?  I have spent over 10 hours on this. 

This new app is downright terrible. You can't access any of the playlists you have created, edited, and played the last couple of years. You get constant error messages, and no reason as to why. Then when you do get access to a playlist whether it be through your Apple or Spotify account it stops playing a song abruptly 45 seconds or a minute and a half through skipping to another song that isn't even next up in the playlist shown even in shuffle as it used to show you in the former application. I have heard one full song in the past 2 hrs. Then when you get into a playlist either way you can even scroll.the playlist you have to wait a couple seconds to load 10-15 titles and do that again to scroll down the list unlike the previous app where it was fluid and you scroll the entire lists seamlessly. Revert back to the old application and do us a favor. Allow us to have back the control we had before. Newer isn't always better. Fix all the issues because the brand name is definitely ta

Make sure your Sonos system is powered on and connected” All that’s changed is I was forced to update the iOS app to this (garbage) version. Now I can’t even connect to my system. Sonos please revert to the old app or at least tell me how I can connect to my existing system before my thousands of dollars of equipment is trashed

Hi I am looking to buy the home theater package with era300 speakers and Arc. One thing that's important to me is being able to switch from home theater setup connected to TV and then listening to music in stereo via the app with just the two era300 speakers (via the Sonos app on phone) with ease.  Is this easily. Any responses greatly appreciated 👍

I am at a total loss as to why the Sonos app is now worse than ever.I have 3x Play 5's, 2x Play 1's, a Playbar, an Amp and a Sub worth thousands of ££££ and now none of them will work or allow me to successfully set them up. Why??? This app is garbage. I hate the new look too. You say you’re preparing it for the future but watch out, you may not have one of you alienate your customer base, again. You made my earlier devices obsolete a few years ago and I thought I’ll stick with you, and so I had to replace them all And now this again. I have installed the new Sonos app and when I try to use the Sonos radio service I am asked to re-authorize the Sonos radio account to access the service. When I try to re-authorize the account, nothing happens except that I am asked again and again to re-authorize the account without being able to access the service. I have tried to log out of the Sonos account and reinstalled the Sonos app to no avail. Can anybody help me?

Hello, Why has my SONOS ONE SL WHITE suddenly stopped working? I purchased 4 of them at the same time in February 2023. Since then I’ve had 1 which has been playing up, I had to return 1 of them a month later as it was faulty and turning on ( I tried all the steps online about resetting ) and then received another one from JB-Hifi only to now find this one not powering on. The others work fine, drop out every not and then but still manageable.. Can anyone help? Not very happy with this purchase right now, It’s only lasted just over 12 months while my speaker I got from Kmart has lasted me well over that... Thank you!

S2 app on PC updated my system and now my app on android will not update. Is stuck on search for updates. I hit that then says done I hit that then it goes back to search for updates.

The moment I open the app on my android (Google Pixel 6 Pro), it crashes and closes. What is the solution?  Previously, it would only successfully connect to my system 50% of the time.  Call wait time is 95 minutes and chat is not available!This app is supposed to be getting better!!!
