Get help and assistance with your Sonos system

I have a Sonos Beam gen 2 and 2 x ERA 300.When I play music from Apple music, most of the time it doesn't finish the song, but skips to the next one.The problem started with the new Sonos app. Until then, there was no problem.When I look at the network activity, when it caches a song at the beginning, it plays it without a problem - all of it. If it doesn't cache, it doesn't play it all.The network is fine, it's a fibre connection and for testing I turned off all devices on the network. Could you please advise? 

I really am struggling to get this to work and have googled relentlessly to find some solutions, but without any working. I have taken the step to update to S2 app and will plan to get a couple of devices to replace my old Connects. In preparation for this I thought I would try and get my Play 1 updated on S2 before I progress with other steps. Glad I did as I am really struggling with completing the update. I have tried: Waiting out the update. This takes around 3 hours to get to 75% but then progresses no further Force quitting the app when I get the error (1014), waiting for the green light to return, changing the WIFI back to my home, retrying. Factory resetting the Play 1Neither of these is showing any progress. Plus support wait in Australia is 90 mins and the chat is not manned.Anyone got some things I can try?

I did load the latest FW today but I have not had a chance to see what happens. After that last major IOS app update in May or so I keep losing the settings. All EQ settings, height & voice enhance all go back to 0 or drop out of my preferred settings. Last month I did a hard factory reset and it seemed better however it started again.What is odd is I can leave my place and lose WIFI, come back and everything is fine. When I’m at home and don’t go anywhere sometimes the settings reset themselves to 0 again. Very puzzling.                             

I have just received my ace headphones and can't believe I can't play music via the sonos app. What a joke, the app literally just allows access to the settings. Along with next to no functionality with Android devices I feel really let down by Sonos. How long have they known they were releasing headphones and they come out with this s##t show.

This New App does not allow me to go into System Settings to change surround , bass  treble , sub settings,  tv, music , etc etc.Before with old app it was easy. Finally it is asking me to sign out and sign in as owner to operate these settings. Frustrating is an understatement.  Tried to get old app back with no success.  

What did they do with the Sonos app???I have a wd my cloud network hdd where i have stored a lot of music.With the new app i am still able to see all the folders with my music in it on this hdd. The problem is that the play button to play an entire folder is gone so i am only able to play one song after each other.Also all of my playlists that i had made are gone. It feels like you buy a car and after a few years the manufacturer takes away the steering wheel... I was always very impressed by Sonos but this is gone in minutes when they do something like this!!! 

Sonos app says my Sonos Connect needs updating but update fails every time I try. Errors 30 and 1013. Tried connecting via ethernet to router, still no luck. Won’t allow use in the meantime..Anyone else have this problem?

Just opened Sonos App ( set to auto update) to find all of my playlists have gone! How do I get them back.?

My Sonos Beam suddenly stopped working. Voice and Alexa not working Does not connect to appleTV Does not work via Wifi DOES connect to phone / spotify / Sonos App via ethernet cable DOES NOT connect to Voice or Alexa via ethernet cableCan anyone help?  Thanks,  

For weeks now, my sonos works less than 50% of the time. I f***ing hate this system. I end up spending more time trying to  make it work than I spend listening to music. I am throwing this garbage in the can it belongs in. It does not matter at all how good the speakers are if they keep cutting out. Reinstalling my amp and hardwired speakers tomorrow - they sound better anyway, and they never have and issues. Hi guys. I have a sonos system in England. Consisting of sub. Play bar and two sonos play 1.... I have split the system and have taken the two play 1 to vietnam.. But I can't get them to work.... I can't seem to get into settings on my sonos app. When my phone is, searching it's not finding the play 1 am I doing something wrong.. Thanks 

The new Sonos app is a catastrophe.  How can they release something that eliminates prior functionality.  It doesn’t allow saving of music, and I’ve completely lost my playlists.  It also takes forever for it to start playing item (an error message repeatedly pops up)I called customer support last night.  It took over an hour to,speak,with someone who sai there was nothing she could do.  How can a company be so irresponsible with its products.  I’ve spent a huge amount of money on the speakers that have been rendered useless 

Trying to adjust the treble and bass on a play 3 stereo play. When moving the treble and bass sliders across to the right , they automatically move back to the centre after a few seconds.

Since the latest update (80.03.07) the Sonos app all my services are removed and cannot connect to them. I formerly connected to and played them with no problem.  I see an error when I try to add a service that there is a message “check your internet  connection and try again”. There nothing wrong with my internet connection. Is this a know issue?

I currently listen to my vinyl collection through my sonos speakers.   Is there any way to listen to them with the new headphones? I have read dozens of threads but can’t find a yes or no answer?  My record player is connected to the system via a Play 5 v2.

One of the best features about Sonos is the ability to connect and play multiple speakers at once. So what am I supposed to do if the speakers won't even connect to each other anymore?? If I try music through one speaker and connect, pressing pause and play on another speaker only transfers the music to the new speaker instead of playing from both. I've already reset the speakers, plug and unplug, and I'm out of options. This only started happening with the new update. I have an android, 3 Sonos symfonisks, and 1 sonos roam sl. Can anyone help? Hi,I am using the new Sonos app on iOS and there seems to be no way to add songs to Sonos or Tidal playlists from the app. Is this really true or am I missing something? Is it up to the music services to do something?  If true, this is HIGHLY disappointing as it was the primary way to build playlists between using the Sonos app and Tidal playlists - which I also use the latter outside the home. Please fix!

I would think that most people are streaming over the internet as opposed to pc and mac.Perhaps they are getting a kick back to force more people to stream over the internet for advertisingand other services. My Airplay on my Arc was giving problems (I was having to reboot it every time to show up in Airplay), so I figured I’d do the update.  BAD MOVE.Now, I cannot connect my Surrounds (two Ones) or my Sub to the Arc anymore.  They did not appear at all in the app.Did a full factory reset on everything Chose the Forget system in the app Detected, Added the Arc, chose a brand new room name Detects the Ones and added them to the room went through the setup/audio chime added them as surrounds to the Arc was prompted to select the left surround as chiming appeared in the System Settings as RoomID 2, RoomID 3 (The Arc is labeled as “RoomID”) However, they both show as “Not Connected” and “We were unable to custom tune your RoomID. The new sonos android app version has a few major issues:Sonos does not display album art. Returning issue. Happened a few times before. Search function does not display Music Library tracks. Missing scroll bar (power scroll) in list display (artist, album, etc.) . It takes ages to swipe from ABC to ZZ-top. My library lists 10797 artists. Playlist cannot be cleared due to missing button.The windows app still works as it should, even after today’s update. The android app lacks functionality. It's clear that it's released without a proper beta test. What's the best solution? Roll back to an older version?
