Every one facing the same terrible customer service from the support center ? Waited 48 minutes to get connected and they said hello and could hear so many people talking in the background, then went on mute and dropped off the call in few seconds ! All that waiting is waste .. trying to call back and now waiting time is 40 minutes .. 

 

my arc won’t connect to surrounds and subs .. tuning doesn’t work, diagnostics doesn’t work, literally most of the app doesn’t work..  been in this situation for months and finally thought of calling customer care and it’s so frustrating ! 
 

anyone got fix from customer support or just need to wait got app fix in next few years ? 

Can you confirm that you haven’t turned Wi-Fi off on the Arc?  Even if you have the Arc connected via an ethernet cable, it bonds with the surrounds and sub by a 5ghz Wi-Fi signal from the Arc.


Hi .. I have my arc sub and surrounds in WiFi and no Ethernet cable .. they are all added to the same Room as well .. app keeps popping up as me to pair the surrounds and Subs .. but when I do that, it searches for sometime and then says, it cannot find the devices and check if it’s powered ON. But all devices are active and in same home WiFi and Room .. 

 

Should i NOT connect the sub and surround to home WiFi ? 


As you initially set up the surrounds and SUB, WiFi is required. After “Bonding” with ARC, WIFi will mostly be ignored and the router might declare that SUB and surrounds don’t exist. This is unfortunate because they do exist and might occasionally use WiFi.

I suggest that you reboot all of these units. Don’t Factory Reset anything without further consult.
