Intermittent Volume Drops with Sonos Arc Connected via HDMI

Hi everyone,

I'm encountering an issue with my Sonos Arc that I hope someone here can help with. While watching shows, the volume will intermittently decrease to the point where I can barely hear it for a few seconds, then it returns to the original volume.

Here's my setup:

- Sonos Arc connected to the TV via HDMI

- Sonos Sub connected wirelessly

- TV speakers are disabled

The volume drop happens randomly, and it's especially frustrating during key moments in the show. I've double-checked all the connections, and everything seems fine.

Has anyone else experienced this issue or have any suggestions on how to fix it? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

It sounds like every now and again the microphone is triggered by what it thinks is a wake word, and drops the volume to listen for commands which don't come. You can try turning off the microphone on the Arc (touch the mic button) to see if that helps cure this.
