Get help and assistance with your Sonos system

Both my Sonos speakers are periodically losing connection with the wi fi network - sound disappears, the app says not connected, it reconnects as soon as try.very frustrating and renders the whole system useless! 

Hello!  Is this set-up even an option? If so, what’s the recommended path forward if I already have the TT and pre-amp running through a single port?  Thanks!

I’ve been using the Sonos Port with AirPlay for months without any issues.  Within the last week or so it will work for about 10 min or so and get disconnected, usually when going to the next track (using the built in Music app).After the 10 min of disconnecting if I try to connect to it again it appears to connect but doesn’t work.  All other Sonos features still work, just AirPlay seems to be messed up.The only way to get it working again is to unplug it and plug it back in.  Then it will work for another 10 min or so.Any ideas?

We own two Play:1 units (paired) and one Play:5 (1st gen) and have had them for over 10 years; through either TuneIn or myRadio Tuner we have been able to play our favourite radio station CKUA (from Edmonton Canada). We use the Sonos 2 App for the Play:1 speakers and the Sonos 1 App for the older Play:5 unit, and they have worked flawlessly until this past update (May 2024) version 80.01.08 for Sonos 2. The station is listed under a myTuner Radio search, but just will not play. We have had issues trying other stations as well. I do not know what the "update" contained, but it has completely ruined our listening pleasure and made our speakers virtually useless to us! 

Hi folks,When I try to add anything from the Calm App such as a soundscape to my Sonos Favourites, it adds it to the list but they are always greyed out. I tried authorising the app again after deleting it and restarting the Sonos app but still getting the same issue.Apple Music tracks etc adds to the Sonos favourites and it lit up as it should be to select. Anyone got any other ideas why this is happening? Thanks.

How does the app keep getting worse and worse over time. It's too bad, I've had some of my Sonos speakers for around 10 years now. Even on a brand new phone the current app is not user friendly, missing functionality that it used to have. And removed the playlists I had. So disappointing given how great the whole experience used to be. The new update is much worse, missing basic functionality now,  So irritated. 

I am having a hard time getting my Apple Music Playlist playing correctly on Sonos via the Sonos app. Is anyone else experiencing this issue?

Why can’t I see all of my Spotify Playlists? I can only see 50 of them. Is this a defect that is scheduled to be fixed?

I have a bluetooth turntable (Sony PS-LX310BT) connected to an Era 100. Everything was working fine and easily until yesterday when there was no sound coming out of the speaker while connected. The speaker still connects as soon as the turntable is on. I’ve reset the speaker. The turntable connects and plays audio with a different speaker connected and my Era 100 plays when connected through my phone and computer, just not sure what’s happening now when the turntable and speaker are connected. They were working together as recently as two days ago. 

I have a sonos ARC, the audio is fine if I connect the supplied HDMI from the ARC directly to the TV. If I include an in wall cable management that had a female hdmi installed in the wall the audio keeps dropping out. why is this?

The true play tuning is asking for the movement of my arm but after circle is completed it says error and try again. I tried again but the circle is not starting. Only see a green dot. But tuning sound is playing.reset done, installed app again. any tips and tricks?pieter  

When I set up the wake up, sáveltörlés and back, the setted wake up dissapeared. 

I’m sure it’s not just me, but it’s possibly the worst ‘update’ yet! Can’t find half of the things which were previously easy to access. It’s a big 👎from me!

Hello, I have not been able to access my favorites for a long time, the icons remain gray. while the other options do color. I have the black Sonos app. I have reinstalled the app a few times but that doesn't help. I also removed the plugs of the playbar and one so that the buffers are emptied. this doesn't help either. I have an iPhone 15 and my wife a Samsung A54. both phones same problem. the only thing that helps is resetting the app and logging in again. but that is not the intention, it just has to work well.

Simple queue management (adding a song, changing the order, etc) is targeted for "September/October", but seems like such a core function, and at first blush seems like an easy thing to code. Does anyone have an idea why this is one that takes so long to re-engineer? Is the change to store and manage queues on the cloud rather than locally? If so, that seems like an accident waiting to happen, especially for local library users. I was lucky to learn about how dysfunctional the new app was before I updated, so this will be helpful to understand prior to making any changes. Any insight is appreciated.

How to locate  batterylevel via Bluetooth  if possible?? How??

Sonos, why would you release an app upgrade with so many problems!? Where are my playlists? They're gone! Where are my alarms?  I can no longer edit or save the queue! Where are my albums? I can't change the home interface! I can delete some of the things you guys added automatically but there's nowhere I can see to add anything. What a mess!Don't you guys check your work? I've been reading some other letters and there are many more problems.SONOS PLEASE FIX THIS ASAP

Why does my Sonos port list as line in disconnected this has only happened since the app update it worked fine before. I checked on the community and there are people with a similar issue but my issue seems to linked to the app update as the issue didn’t exist before. CP85

I tried rolling back to version 78 for W10 and the “windows library” options were greyed and even when I got it to work, I still get the error “sonos was unable to add the music folder 913”….this is a serious testing error and the new version should never have been released as “live”….disgrace SONOS! please fix this ASAP as none of us should have to wait a month to play our own music library collections!

Hi,I am new to Sonos. I just purchased 2 sonos era’s and 1 beam. This is day 2 and I am still unable to setup my devices.. What a disaster is this.. I understood that I bought the speakers and the best moment I could.. The fantastic crappy new update.. Soo let me sum it up.New speakers, unboxed, app installed. Account created. Sonos devices discovered in network.. and then.. disaster loop begins..I gave the app the right to use my microphone, the speakers starts to make the sound to adopt. But the adoption never takes place.. the app even doesnt activate the microphone. I tried each one of the speakers one by one for a thousend times now. after second attempt the app gives the option to connect with code.. when select the option, the app crashes every single time. And yeah already tried remove and install app again.. and also install app on other phone.. No difference..After some research I found out that this new huge app release is a complete disaster a

I get the error message: “Something went wrong” in the app, never had it before, started today.I can play sonos radio, but nothing from spotify or other music services, when i click on playlist from that, it takes a while, then no graphics or music come up, just the silhouette of the player, and then the error message on top.

Hi thinking of purchasing the new sonos headphones to listen to music, but also anything on from my tv. my tv does not have blue tooth, however it is l connected  to a Sonos beam sound bar will the headphones just link up to the beam for any tv audio ( perfect as won’t need a new tv ) sorry if silly question, but hope someone can answer appreciate stu  

Hi. I’ve just upgraded my Sonos to Arc, Sub and paired with two Eros 300. Problemis that I can’t hear any output from the two rear Eros 300 speakers. I had a better effect with my two One speakers. Playing music is OK and is through all speakers but output from my Virgin box is poor. It’s connected through HDMi Arc. I’ve checked and double checked settings but no luck. Any advice? I’m really disappointed after spending so much money. 

The old Sonos app showed what percent the battery of my Move & Roam were at in the app.   Now, all it shows is a battery icon with a lightning bolt in it to show that it is currently charging.  Being of limited vision, I can not tell if the battery is ‘full’ our not.  Is there a way to see what % the charge of these speakers is at?
